Yvette: So, never been a fan of hadn seen an episode in years. Then I came across a marathon on Bravo and got dragged down in the drama. Where did I go wrong?
Frank: Wrong? Girl, you are way behind. This is Season Four. When this show started, Vicki weekly Botox bill was still in the triple digits. Where you went wrong was, you spent the last four years doing the kind of useless journalism that focuses on the underprivileged, while I quickly realized it the privileged who need our help.
Yvette: So, um, I was thinking of buying myself a Rolex. I know the country is in financial turmoil, people are losing their homes and food pantries are running on empty. But, for me, the most important question is: Diamond encrusted dial or diamonds galore on the dial AND the bracelet.
Frank: Well, if you must do off the shelf, you have the right instincts And a big, hunkin Rolex does stand out on a dainty, feminine wrist. But if you really wanted to go total you be better off having Lynne integrate a Rolex watch body into one of those gaudy bracelets she fashions out of toilet paper tubes, macaroni, paste and glitter, and tries to sell at Fred Segal.
Yvette: OK, imaginary scenario: Your daughter nags you about the car she wants for her 18th birthday and in the days preceding said birthday: Acts like brat in front of her mom; whines about, well, pretty much EVERYTHING, including the fact that Dad won let her throw the birthday party at home; tries to get a waiter to serve her alcohol even though she underage; throws a jealous tantrum and forces her little sister to swap dresses on the day of her birthday. Did I mention that said daughter doesn have a job and isn going to school? Hmmm, what would Frank do? Give her a $23,000 BMW? Or?
Frank: Oh, you must be talking about that little drunk of Lynne Sweet kid. And what a talent. No ambition, marginal looks and a taste for the grape, or perhaps the agave, as it were. She go far. A perfect match for any one of the other Housewives sons: Maybe Tamra horny little guy, Ryan, or even one of the increasingly sullen and surly boys of Jeana Shane or Colton. As for the Beemer, surely you jest. Just buy the brat the thing and get her off your back. Life too short to spend it raising your kids.
Yvette: Now, I know everyone has their fave housewife. So far, I leaning toward Lynne because she shown some sensibility in dealing with the other wives issues (counseling Gretchen not to approach fianc Jeff about his financial will while he being treated for leukemia. Um, duh.) But who is your least favorite housewife?
Frank: Good question, Yvette, because Lauri sudden departure leaves a major void in the sector of my universe where I let the loathsome orbit. Let me think a minute. I mean, what are they there for if not to grope, fondle, etc.? They certainly weren there to nurse their children, most of whom seem to recoil at their mother very touch. And as Vicki slurred in one of this season most memorable lines (to her best friend husband), boobs keep wanting to come out and play. So Jeana. She cool in my book, at least based on this past season. I can vouch for previous years. But what is up with her baseball playing son,rolex datejust replica, Shane? He already got an attitude and foul mouth and he not even in the major leagues. Yvette: What? You waiting for another question? Sorry, I was busy tallying up the Housewives upkeep tab. Let see: fake spray tans, gazillions of manicures/pedicures, personal trainers, shopping sprees at South Coast Plaza. Yep, we could feed all the poor in OC with this tab.
Frank: Yvette. My poor, na misguided Yvette. Their ilk occupies a different universe. Also, you forgot about the life vests Gretchen bought for her dogs and the $3,250 vibrators at Fred Segal.
Yvette: Hmmm, I need to do some deep research on these OC Housewives at South Coast Plaza. Do you think the Register would notice $1,885.63 for clothes on my expense report?
Frank: Well, the editors didn complain when I racked up a couple grand, but then they given up on my sense of morality and seem perfectly willing to let me sell my soul so I can cover this seedy little corner of the county with authenticity. I think you still seen as wholesome.

Man held in Kinahan probe
A Dutch national was arrested in Dublin during a search carried out as part of an operation targeting "the Kinahan organised crime gang", a court has heard.
Naoufal Fassih (35), who is of Moroccan origin, was refused bail by a judge after gardai said a passport and identification card he produced were false.
Judge Cormac Dunne deferred a decision on legal aid after hearing that the 2,900 a month apartment he was arrested in contained three watches worth more than 80,000 and 13,000 in cash.
Dublin District Court was also told that the runners he was wearing in court were worth at least 800.
Judge Dunne remanded him in custody to appear in Cloverhill District Court next Friday.
Mr Fassih is charged with having a false Dutch passport and presenting it to gardai as being genuine.
He is also accused of having a false Belgian ID card and a small quantity of cannabis and faces two immigration charges.
The offences are alleged to have happened at an apartment at Baggot Street Lower on April 7,fake rolex oyster perpetual datejust womens.
The passport he offered gardai had a false name on it, the court heard.
"That would appear the case," solicitor Niall O'Connor said.
The court heard that gardai had objected to bail on the basis that they believed Mr Fassih to be a flight risk,rolex oyster perpetual datejust cost fake.
Defence barrister Keith Spencer said that now the accused's identification had been "crystallised",fake ladies rolex datejust, he wished to continue with his bail application.
"It has crystallised because of the garda detection of his false identity on the passport," the judge said.

He remanded the defendant in custody for the directions of the DPP to be made available,mens rolex datejust fake.
Mr Spencer made a legal aid application, but Gda Kane said that found in the apartment were (378), 12,825 in cash, one Rolex watch worth 8,350 and another worth 35,000. A third limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak limited edition Michael Schumacher watch was worth 40,000.
"The runners he is wearing are worth upwards of 800. This gives an example of the means of this man," said Gda Kane.

'The reason that people seem to like it is they are drawn into the plot,' he explains. 'It's fiction but I've written it so that it's totally different. It's written as an autobiography. It's true but it's amplified by 100 per cent.'
Jack ended up giving his wife both homes and 80 per cent of his pension but says she reneged on their deal to let him see their son.
He's now touring the UK in his caravan to promote The Sun Sharer and rolled up in Hayling at the beginning of the week. Bold move lands Wayne Taylor Racing win in Rolex 24 at Daytona
Ricky Taylor used a gutsy move to fiercely grab a victory in the Rolex 24 at Daytona that had seemingly slipped out of reach.
The Wayne Taylor Racing team was among the most dominant in the twice round the clock endurance race but found itself trailing Action Express in the final hour in a battle of brand new Cadillacs. His shot at the celebrated victory was down to one final attempt at a pass of Filipe Albuquerque, and Taylor dove inside of him entering Turn 1 of the road course.
Taylor seemed to have the inside lane, but it wasn't clear if he could complete the pass. Contact between the two cars sent Albuquerque spinning, and IMSA reviewed the action to see if Taylor warranted a penalty.
No penalty was issued after the review, and the Taylor team won its first Rolex since 2005 when team owner Wayne Taylor was still a driver. It marks the first victory for brothers Ricky and Jordan Taylor two of the most talented sports car racers in America and longtime Taylor co driver Max Angelelli. Their fourth driver? None other than retired NASCAR great Jeff Gordon, who won the first Rolex watch of his career. Gordon ran this race once before, in 2007, with the Taylor team.
Angelelli, who is a co owner on the team, has insisted this is the final race of his career. Ricky Taylor got a chance to pass him with about 15 minutes ago, and he was as fearless the first time as he was on the race winning pass. Taylor again dipped inside and tried to force a drag race, and the two Cadillacs bounced off each other before Albuquerque surged ahead. Taylor had to frantically work to close the gap and didn't get his next chance at the win until there was just under 7 minutes remaining.
His father watched from a monitor in the pits and threw his hands over his face when the cars collided and Albuquerque spun.

Ricky Taylor used a gutsy move to fiercely grab a victory in the Rolex 24 at Daytona that had seemingly slipped out of reach.
The Wayne Taylor Racing team was among the most dominant in the twice round the clock endurance race but found itself trailing Action Express in the final hour in a battle of brand new Cadillacs. His shot at the celebrated victory was down to one final attempt at a pass of Filipe Albuquerque, and Taylor dove inside of him entering Turn 1 of the road course.
Taylor seemed to have the inside lane, but it wasn't clear if he could complete the pass. Contact between the two cars sent Albuquerque spinning, and IMSA reviewed the action to see if Taylor warranted a penalty.
No penalty was issued after the review, and the Taylor team won its first Rolex since 2005 when team owner Wayne Taylor was still a driver. It marks the first victory for brothers Ricky and Jordan Taylor two of the most talented sports car racers in America and longtime Taylor co driver Max Angelelli. Their fourth driver? None other than retired NASCAR great Jeff Gordon, who won the first Rolex watch of his career. Gordon ran this race once before, in 2007, with the Taylor team.
Angelelli, who is a co owner on the team, has insisted this is the final race of his career. He'll stay busy helping Cadillac develop its new program, which had a rousing debut and dominated the race. The manufacturer went 1 2 overall and proved to be no match for any other cars in the prototype class.

"If a piece of jewelry has anyone's initials or name engraved on it and those letters don't match the driver's license information we won't take it," says Rodriguez. The thieves also would be ill advised to think it could be melted down or scrapped and retaining the rings' original value. Some estimates put the rings worth up to $75,000 apiece. The best the thieves could expect would be scrap prices, and that's if they find someone underhanded enough to do the work.
"It's totally possible to own a Super Bowl ring and pawn it," says Rodriguez. If say, Tom Brady somehow fell on hard times he could pawn his Super Bowl rings but he would obviously have proper documentation.
When it comes to receiving any high dollar from a seller, Rodriguez says that veteran pawn shop employees know how to suss out details from a potential customer. Serial numbers come into play for firearms, motorcycles, electronics, and the like. That's why it's so important to record your serial numbers on big ticket items just in case.
"We ask plenty of questions, like how the person acquired it, how much they paid for it, the chain of ownership, and so on," says Rodriguez. "For instance if you have a Rolex watch, you should know a bit about it."
But then again, he adds, thieves know better than to take stolen items to places where people ask questions.
"I don't see anyone actually even getting to sell these rings if they have them. We don't mess with anything like that, plus its in the news right now," Rodriguez says.
