Citrus squeezing may seem simple, but it's certainly not easy ... and that's why we love these citrus juicers. They're the best kind of kitchen gadget to have, because they'll give you so much more for far less effort. While citrus juicers may all mainly serve the same purpose, there's an interesting range of designs that offer varying benefits and conveniences. The main differences between these types are the amount of space you have for storing them and the level of effort you're willing or able to put into juicing.
If you prefer a simple tool that makes manual squeezing easier and more thorough, reamers are the perfect solution ... especially since you don't give up total contact with the fruit. There are citrus presses, which are simple levers that offer much more power with just a fraction of the force. And electronic juicers are the easiest of all to use, sifting out the seeds and delivering you fresh-squeezed juice whenever you want it.
And while effortlessly acquired juice may seem like a luxury, these juicers are surprisingly affordable, with many of our favorites ringing up at under $20! If you're ready to start juicing smarter, not harder, check out our guide to the best citrus juicers here.
This affordable citrus juicer is the answer to nearly all of your squeezing sorrows.
It's a simple press that can juice lemons, limes, and small oranges by inserting each half into the cup and clamping down. This device has two cups of different sizes, and one is smaller to be a better fit for limes. But both of these sections juice and filter out seeds much more effectively than simply squeezing by hand.
This citrus juicer is the perfect combination of ease and affordability, which makes it the best pick for most people. It may take up some space in a drawer, but it's worth the precious real estate if you juice a lot of lemons. This citrus juicer from Cuisinart is a surprisingly affordable mini appliance that takes all the rigor out of reaming. It's perfect if you want to extract fresh juice from a lot of citrus with less time and mess than doing it all by hand.
To operate it, all you need to do is press any-sized citrus directly onto the top, and the juice will come pouring out of the spout and into your glass. This device also includes an adjustable reamer with three pulp-control settings and a thoughtful Final Spin feature that extracts the maximum amount of juice from the pulp.
However, at just 25 watts, it's not the highest-powered electric citrus juicer out there. So, some stubborn fruits may be a bit more of an effort to squeeze. In fact, reviewers who have arthritis are split on how effectively they're able to use this device. (We'd suggest the other electric juicer in this guide for them!)
The dark shadows evaporated quickly, perhaps more often than any expansion of the past. This puts a lot of eyes on Blizzard as it prepares to announce the next expansion of WoW on the 19th of April. Now more than ever, Blizzard should learn from previous mistakes and solve some of the biggest problems that plagued Shadowlands. The toll from the pandemic was due to the inevitable direction of the story arc of Sylvanas Windrunner and the Activision Blizzard lawsuit could not have gone away. However, there are other major factors who marred the latest expansion. Most of them are now in the hands of the current developer.
The Covenant system was an important sticking point from the day it was introduced and created at the launch of Shadowlands in the year 2020. There were four factions after you reached level 60, giving you specific abilities to your class. Conduits were a new way to customize class and customize your behavior within your chosen agreement. It sounds beautiful, except that it was practically impossible to change your mind without falling behind.
With the passive effects offered, each player chose new ways to keep the universe alive. But the currency needed to craft them was initially left behind Torghast, which was easy to clear for some classes, but unfortunately for others it was completely awful.
Then Sanctum of Domination raid introduced Shards of Domination in the 9.1 patch, as a rare alternative to set items. The actual acquisition of the socketed domination gear prevented players from taking trouble, because it could have gotten close to the armour ring, where you’d built your legendary gear. The Shard drops you needed for your class were very RNG-based, so most players felt weaker than their luckier peers.
All these systems seem exciting on paper, and I can understand what the hope was to give the players a meaningful choice of how they play their character. Just as you said it, that, without a doubt, if such a big game is the best way to choose, it will always be the best in the world, regardless of whether the protagonists are doing LFR, or he is a mythic player, or he takes the occasional neophorous+ dungeon. As soon as someone knew what the fundamentals were, it stopped being a choice for most players. Making it difficult to switch between these systems to be more optimal for different content, or if there is a change in balance in your class, no matter the amount of time it does.
Thankfully, most of the problematic power systems have now been fixed, but it felt like it was too late to change. They still play with the opponents, but now you can freely switch between Covenants and Conduits without penalty, refund money from unwanted legendaries and Domination Shards are no longer relevant in 9.2.
Even so, most of the conflict in Shadowlands could have been avoided even before the expansion launch, when players began to question the constraints around offering Covenants in beta and PTR.
In this article, we focus on exactly when the next World of Warcraft expansion will be revealed to the world, how you can watch it live, including the exact time and date so you can mark those calendars.
In an official post on World of Warcraft website, Blizzard has shared when the next WoW expansion will be revealed, explaining: "World of Warcraft has ignited imaginations through rich storytelling and expansive worlds that prevail throughout the Shadowlands expansion.
"From the hopeless depths of the Maw to the ethereal plains of Zereth Mortis, the Shadowlands delivers a world that challenges heroes to confront the forces that threaten to upset the cosmic balance between life and death. With the story in the Shadowlands coming to a conclusion, the time is at hand to get a sneak peek at what’s next for the heroes of Azeroth."
The reveal will take place on Tuesday, 19th April 2022 at 09:00 PDT. For those in Europe, that's 18:00 CEST. So how do you watch the new expansion reveal for World of Warcraft? Well, you can head to the official Warcraft YouTube channel, or watch all the action live from the Twitch channel embedded below.
Blizzard notes that the WoW dev team is excited to share what they've been working on, and we have a good idea of what that might be, at least in the form of the expected title of the next WoW expansion...
The Dragon Isles was, according to reports, first expected to release as part of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, but that never occurred.
At the time of writing, Blizzard has not officially confirmed the name or new area in the next World of Warcraft expansion. Leaks, however, are strongly suggesting Dragonflight will be the name of the next World of Warcraft expansion.
As per a report by WoWHead, public strings found on the official World of Warcraft website showcase the name Dragonflight. Furthermore, Joey102 in the comments on WoWhead noted that new "Dragonflight" web certifications have been found, the exact date and time, as well as where you can watch the reveal of World of Warcraft's next expansion, which is likely Dragonflight.
Activision Blizzard's immensely popular PC title originally launched in 2004, and has retained a sizable player base ever since. Despite the ongoing situation, the developer has managed to soldier on with new incoming content. Blizzard recently announced a few of World of Warcraft's races will be getting new character creation options, along with several new cosmetics.
Posted onto the World of Warcraft Reddit page, user ConservationofWumbo shows off their rendition of what the state of Oregon would look like on a WoW-style map. The creator appears to have gotten all of the in-game details accurately, right down to the torn and crumpled parchment edges. The map does an excellent job of emulating WoW's earth-tone color scheme, with the more open farmland regions to the east colored a yellow-orange, with Oregon's heavily wooded coast shown in a suitable green. Several of Oregon's major landmarks and cities are labeled as well, with places like Medford, Crater Lake, Mount Hood, and Portland all labeled with appropriate icons.
The World of Warcraft-style map has garnered plenty of praise online, with the unique map amassing roughly 3,600 upvotes at the time of wriitng. Dozens of fans have lauded the artwork, with many Oregonians giving it their seal of approval. While the map is surely impressive, this actually isn't the first time ConservationofWumbo has made headlines for creating a WoW-style map of a state. A few weeks ago, the same artist posted a World of Warcraft-style map of Washington state. The map has many of the same game-accurate features as its Oregon counterpart, showcasing various roads, mountain ranges, and points-of-interest.
Whether it be pandemic-related free time or otherwise, gamers seem to be working on recreating different states from around the U.S. through the lens of different titles this year. There isn't any doubt that the pair of WoW-inspired maps are impressive, but one group of gamesr have taken that idea and turned it on its head. Rather than add a video game to a state, one group is adding a state to a video game. A group of dedicated Minecraft players are aiming to build a full-scale 1:1 recreation of the state of New Jersey.
While the current state of World of Warcraft can vary depending on who is asked, at least pretty much any fan can appreciate the creativity behind game-inspired state maps, which hopefully will continue being released. Fans of the IP who've grown tired of WoW will be pleased to know two Warcraft mobile games are in development, although details about either title remain scarce.

JOHN RUWITCH, BYLINE: On Friday, Shanghai reported 23,000 new cases, which was down a little from the day before. But there's no end in sight to the lockdown policy, and the city is expecting more cases. It's converted schools, exhibition halls and even some residential buildings into emergency quarantine centers.
RUWITCH: Men in white hazmat suits with the word police written on the back can be seen dragging away two protesters. One woman screams, the police are hitting people. Others are seen kneeling in supplication before them. The town put out a statement promising two months' rent as compensation, but video of the scuffle spread far and wide on Chinese social media. So have other recordings, like this one.
RUWITCH: In it, a couple can be heard pleading with police who have come to take them to a central quarantine center, but they say there's been a mistake and that they, in fact, tested negative. Recordings like this are hard to verify, and many have been scrubbed from the internet, but they reflect real fears and frustrations and are a problem for the government.
RUWITCH: Victor Shih is an expert on Chinese politics at the University of California, San Diego. He says surveys had shown an uptick in confidence in the government after it got the pandemic under control following the initial outbreak.
SHIH: What is happening in Shanghai - and, of course, we don't have access to survey data at this point - I think certainly will have an impact on this previously very high trust and belief in the government's competence.
RUWITCH: This is all happening in what many consider China's best-run and most cosmopolitan city, but it's not alone. The Japanese bank Nomura estimates that 373 million people across dozens of Chinese cities are living under some kind of lockdown. That's more than the populations of the U.S. and Canada combined, and China's government seems unlikely to change tack anytime soon.
We've also had access to official documents that suggest at least 27 patients from a single hospital, who weren't vaccinated, have died from what it called "underlying health problems".Shanghai is enforcing a mammoth lockdown as authorities try to contain a new wave of the virus. Most of the city's almost 25 million population have been ordered to stay inside for three weeks.
The BBC has previously reported evidence that authorities in Shanghai are struggling to deal with the outbreak. We spoke to a nurse and a health worker at Donghai Elderly Care Hospital who, between them, described desperate attempts to help dozens of elderly patients, some of whom have died.
We've contacted several other care homes or hospitals for the elderly since then, after social media postings suggested there was evidence of widespread infections among hundreds of patients in 12 other facilities here.
One relative of a patient at another care home in Shanghai has told us that doctors and caregivers working there had informed her that everyone in the facility had tested positive. It has capacity for around 300 patients.
In a phone conversation a manager at Donghai Hospital told us: "Of course there would be deceased with Covid. [In] Shanghai the situation is like this. How could there not be any death[s] without Covid?"In a letter sent to relatives of patients who'd died management at the hospital apologised and admitted a "lack of professionalism". They also expressed their "deepest guilt".
Official figures say there have been no deaths during the current outbreak across the city; none at all.China has a strict criteria for confirming Covid-19 cases, which includes evidence in patients of lung damage caused by the virus. This must be confirmed in a scan.
Any underlying health conditions is also considered before deaths are officially attributed to Covid. One man whose 72-year-old sister died at Donghai earlier this month told us that he had struggled to get a full explanation from officials about the cause of death.
He told us that she had tested negative in the weeks before she died on 3 April. But he was not able to get a record of her test results in the final days before she died. The man said his sister was one of six patients in a room, five of whom died. He told the BBC that "the outbreak [was] so bad in that care home".
As far as he could tell the official record said "she died with Covid negative". He said he would not go ahead with her cremation until he knew what the cause of death was.Relatives of a 99-year-old woman who died on 1 April have also raised concerns about the cause of death, given that she tested positive in the final week of her life.
In social media postings seen by the BBC, with accompanying audio records, her granddaughter said the woman had been transferred to Jinshan Public Health Clinical Centre in Shanghai on 27 March, where she tested positive a day later. She was treated for underlying health problems. Three days later she tested negative for Covid. A day later she died. The woman described her death as due to "aggravation of underlying disease due to Covid".China is facing its most serious crisis since the virus first emerged here in early 2020, when the city of Wuhan was locked down and sealed off.
Despite efforts to limit the impact on the economy in the country's financial capital the lockdown of Shanghai has continued way beyond the initial nine day period planned for.
Authorities have used various terms to refer to the strict restrictions being imposed on people, calling it "static management" and "closed management".
State media reported that President Xi Jinping said "prevention and control work cannot be relaxed". The front page of the Communist Party mouthpiece People's Daily said "persistence is victory".
Fanatics, a sports apparel website and NFL partner, announced that Nassib's No. 94 was its top-selling replica jersey across Monday and Tuesday in the hours after Nassib came out on Instagram. Specific sales figures were not revealed, but prices for Nassib replica jerseys range between around $120 and $370 on the Fanatics website.

Specific sales figures were not revealed, but prices for Nassib replica jerseys range between around $120 and $370 on the Fanatics website
In addition to fan support, Nassib and transgender Japanese soccer player Kumi Yokoyama both got a shoutout from President Joe Biden on Tuesday
'To Carl Nassib and Kumi Yokoyama - two prominent, inspiring athletes who came out this week: I'm so proud of your courage,' Biden tweeted. 'Because of you, countless kids around the world are seeing themselves in a new light today.'
Describing himself as a 'private person' in his Instagram video, Nassib said one of his reasons for coming out publicly was because he thinks 'representation and visibility are so important.' He also donated $100,000 to the Trevor Project, a charity that focuses on preventing suicide among LGBTQ youth.
'I actually hope that one day videos like this and the whole coming out process are just not necessary,' he said in his video. 'Until then, I am going to do my best and do my part to cultivate a culture that is accepting and compassionate.'
When the Brooklyn Nets signed free agent Jason Collins in 2014, making him the NBA's first openly gay player, the seven-foot center's No. 98 jersey instantly became the top seller on the league website and Fifth Avenue store in New York. Collins initially wore No. 46 with Brooklyn before switching to No. 98 — a nod to Matthew Shepard, a gay college student who was beaten to death in Wyoming in 1998.
Collins, who played 12 NBA seasons before coming out of the closet as a free agent in 2013, congratulated Nassib on Twitter following his announcement: 'Very proud of Carl Nassib! Incredibly happy for him and can't wait to watch him play this upcoming season!'
'I have often said I love my teammates. I mean it,' Carr told reporters, as quoted by ESPN. 'We always say we are a family in that Raider locker room, and we mean that too. I want to win a championship here with Carl and the rest of our teammates.'
Starting with the NFL example, the authors note that prior to the 2018 Super Bowl, over $15 million of fake merchandise were seized in an joint operation between the NFL, ICE, FBI, CBP, and the Minneapolis Police Department. However, sports merchandise is only the tip of the iceberg.
In terms of the consequences of this industry, the writer notes "The sale of counterfeit merchandise industry is not a victimless crime... it hurts companies — many of which do hire some American workers — by ripping off their products, passing them off as legitimate, and stealing their business." More alarming is how fake goods are often made with child labor and how profits are sometimes used to finance terrorists and human traffickers.
These concerns are in addition to the way that fake goods can pose dangers to consumers. The article notes that, "As Northern Ireland’s official government website points out, the counterfeit industry includes children's toys with serious choking hazards, car parts with high rates of failure, cheap sports jerseys which lack flame resistance, and fake alcohol which contains antifreeze and nail polish, among other things."
The author calls for the government to do more to target the producers of these illicit goods. However, given the wide reaching nature of the issue, the private market needs to address the problem as well. Product creators need to dedicate themselves to ensuring that buyers have a way to differentiate between authentic products and fakes. Consumers, in turn, need to stay aware of the dangers posed by counterfeiters and should make an effort to keep themselves safe.
We review all brokers to a strict and unique methodology, to ensure that we only promote high quality brands that you can trust. This methodology considers over 200 criteria points, covering the categories of safety, fees, platforms, products, payments and customer support. All brokers are then given a score out of 100. We update this methodology and our recommended reviews yearly, so that you’re only given up to date information.
If a broker has a score less than 80, like this one, we won’t recommend it to you. So that we don’t waste your time, we don’t update these reviews either. We know you don’t want to read a long review of an untrustworthy broker. Instead, you can use the tool below to find a high-scoring broker that accepts clients from your country.
Abshire-Smith is a Forex broker located in England and Wales that directly targets the ultra-rich millionaires from the Middle East. The company was founded in 2011 by a group of professional market experts who fully understands the requirements of traders who have access to a huge pile of cash. Smaller retail traders may also find several unique features that support low volume trading. There are numerous aspects about the broker that supports Islamic trading, which have some distinctive advantages as well as a few disadvantages that are covered in this Abshire-Smith review
Abshire-Smith has its main office in London and is regulated by the FCA. FCA is one of the select few regulatory organizations in the world that are highly trusted by a majority of FX traders. Since the company is focusing on traders from the Middle East and other parts of EU, Africa, and Asia, the company hasn’t bothered to set up an office in the US, neither has it mentioned any intent on being regulated by the NFA. Therefore, Abshire-Smith makes it clear that they do not accept US traders at any cost. It is also interesting to note that traders from Iran also find it difficult to open an account at Abshire Smite, and residents of countries listed on the UN sanctions list will also find it difficult to open a trading account with the company.
FCA regulation is an essential aspect of Forex trading that helps traders to feel safe and secure against broker frauds or financial malpractices. All client funds are kept in segregated accounts in leading banks of the UK, and every trader is protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme that protects a customer against issues such as broker insolvency. FCA regulated companies are audited on a periodic basis, and brokers don’t trade against a trader’s position. Stringent regulatory guidelines offer protection against most conventional broker issues such as price manipulation, incorrect price feeds, and more.
The minimum deposit required to open an account at Abshire-Smith is $500, which is higher than most established Forex brokers. The relatively higher initial deposit is designed to deter small retail traders from opening an account with the company. A $500 initial deposit qualifies for a Mini account, while a $1000 initial deposit can provide access to either the Mini ECN account or the Standard Account. VIP accounts are available for deposits greater than $10,000.
Every account is offered with a maximum Abshire-Smith leverage of 1:200 for Forex and 1:100 for other assets such as commodities and precious metals. Abshire-Smith spreads also start from 0.7 pips for the VIP account to a minimum of 1.8 pips, excluding commission, for the Mini ECN account. The spreads are considered to be highly competitive and are one of the great advantages of trading with Abshire-Smith. The broker connects their traders to a global liquidity pool to offer excellent price feeds and tight spreads to provide a real ECN trading environment.
There are plenty of financial assets to choose from, and traders can invest in FX, commodities, equities, CFDs, or precious metals through a single account. Since the broker offers Sharia compliant trading accounts for all of their investors, there are no SWAPs whatsoever for overnight trades. Lower spreads and a lack of SWAPs combine to provide a highly cost-effective trading account for traders who are concerned about the outflow in Forex trading. The low cost of trading can also result in a high performance, which is tough to replicate using other FX brokers.
One of the primary disadvantages of the company is that they only provide 22 currency pairs. The company believes that expert traders only use the major pairs and a few minor pairs in their trading portfolio, and never actually bothered to include the full list of currency pairs that are available in the market. On the payment front, deposits and withdrawals can be done using bank transfer, online payment processors such as Skrill and CashU, and by using credit cards. Card and online deposits are made instantly, while withdrawals can take up to 24 hours.
The broker has an excellent customer support channel available for traders around the clock; however, the languages are restricted to English and Arabic. This proves the company’s intent on entertaining clients from the Middle East, but the English support channel is also highly responsive and helpful.
