Wine is a key ingredient in a perfect dinner. A glass of wine will decorate any dish and make it sparkle with completely new gastronomic notes. In general, sometimes you can and even need to pamper yourself.

Unfortunately, when we arrive at a supermarket or wine boutique (which gives many more bonuses to wine karma), the perfect bottle of wine does not start to flicker with lights and sparkle in the rays of designer lamps. You have to find the perfect bottle of wine yourself. For beginners, this is not an easy task.

KitchenMag spoke to adorable sommeliers who shared how easy and simple it is to choose the perfect bottle of red, white or pink for your dinner.

Tatiana Selivanova

wine expert, holder of the diploma of the most prestigious international wine school Wine and Spirits Education Trust (London), the first Russian wine academician, member of the Russian Sommelier Association, member of the Union of Experts and Sommeliers of Russia (SSER).

When buying wine, pay attention to the place of its production . Detailed information is always indicated on the back label (located on the back of the bottle - ed. ) In Russian. So, you should be on your guard with prosecco or chili produced in Central Russia.

If we are talking about wines not for storage, then choose a year younger and take the bottle not from the shelf under the soffits, because the constant light ages the wine. Check which category the product is designated by: wine is made from grapes by fermentation and does not contain flavors or dyes, unlike, for example, a wine drink.

The simplest, basic rules for combining wine and food are in color and density . A rich white wine can be served with white meat, while a light red wine can be served with tuna or eel. It is better to accompany sweet desserts with sweet wine, as dry in such a pair will seem aggressive and even bitter.

Talking about my favorites, it is difficult to limit myself to a couple of names. For a special occasion - Georgian qvevri and barolo, for every day - young "italy" (soave, vermentino, dolchetto).

First of all, you need to understand why you are buying wine . For dinner, for a picnic, just drink with light snacks or as a gift. And of course, it is best to buy wine where there is a specialist who will help you make a choice , especially if you want to choose wine for a specific dish or as a gift.

What to focus on if you choose wine in a supermarket? First, it is worth discarding prejudices about "powder" or counterfeit wines, screw caps and counter-labels in Russian. All wine is real:  there are simply high quality wines, and there are low ones. As a rule, it is a matter of price and place of origin of the wine . Also, many people mistakenly believe that if wine is sold at a special price, it means that something is wrong with it, and they are trying to "drain" it. If the wine is on sale, it means that the store just bought a large volume of wine at a very favorable price. It is in their interest to just sell it quickly.

Let's say you bought a huge home theater system. Now you can watch something exciting without leaving your home. Just how to do it? Any teenager knows a couple of sites from which you can download anything for free. But, firstly, it is illegal, and secondly, on such sites the same picture may not appear, or there is a film, but in a terrible quality. For those who respect the law, love high-quality images and want to choose what to watch, there are online cinemas. Tvzavr cinema specialists invited PM to visit and told how it works.

What does an online cinema consist of? There are three key points here: format universalization, content selection and statistics.

Universal format

First of all, you need to make sure that the content is available to everyone. So that you can watch a movie or a cartoon from any device - a smart TV, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, the programmers of the online cinema translate all content into a universal format. Both an old computer and a brand new 4K Smart TV system will read it.

And if you are at the end of the earth and your Internet is slow, versions of the same film in different qualities come to the rescue. On the servers of the online cinema Tvzavr, for example, each movie is stored in different versions, in quality from 480 to 4K. When broadcasting, the capacity of your channel is taken into account: if the transmission speed suddenly drops, then you will still watch the film - even if in the worst quality: the files will simply be connected, for which transmission the lower channel bandwidth is needed.

The online cinema does not control the route that packets with your cinema take from the cinema server to the device - this is done by providers. But if someone recently watched the same movie near you, then the movie is stored in the cache of the nearest server for some time, which means that the path to your device becomes very short, and the probability of interruptions is reduced to very small values.

Content is everything

Films, TV series and cartoons are bought directly from the copyright holders by online cinemas. Therefore, the money that you pay for viewing also goes to the copyright holder.

New items appear in the Internet cinema rather quickly - as much as legal subtleties allow. Sometimes not even a day passes between the premiere at the box office and the appearance of a film in the cinema, and sometimes you need to wait 3 - 4 weeks. If the rights to show the film are bought by the central TV channel, the waiting time may increase.

Each cinema independently determines which films to purchase from copyright holders. As a rule, in cinemas you can find classics, domestic and foreign hits of recent years, cartoons and TV series. Sometimes the abundance of content makes it possible to create separate projects: Tvzavr, for example, has "Russian Cinema" (for Smart TV and mobile devices). The idea of the project is to collect in one library everything that was filmed on the territory of the former USSR, and these are tapes of Lenfilm, Odessa Film Studio, Armenfilm and dozens of other film studios. The main consumer of Soviet and new Russian cinema is Russian-speaking citizens abroad.

In addition, Tvzavr subtitles Russian films in foreign languages so that foreign viewers can also appreciate Soviet and Russian cinema. Specialists of an online cinema can tell a lot about what they watch in different countries. Thus, domestic cinema, it turns out, is highly valued by Chinese viewers, and films that have not become particularly popular in their homeland receive special recognition.
