Silicone is a type of synthetic polymer that is more heat resistant compared to organic polymers. It is widely used and commercialised in many industries including personal care, coating, automotive, electronics, chemicals, etc. due to its durability, easy to manufacture, and stable over a wide range of temperatures. Most silicone products can withstand up to 260°C. You should not confuse “silicone” with “silicon” because they are not the same. Silicon is used to manufacture semiconductors in electronics whereas silicone does not conduct electricity. Rubber silicone (Polysiloxane) is the form of silicone that is commonly used in kitchenware.
You might have asked yourself “ Is it safe to use silicone kitchen utensils?”. Yes, silicone cooking utensils are completely safe to use. Just make sure your silicone kitchen tools are recognised by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and labelled as Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS). Make sure that it is 100% pure food-grade silicone when buying silicone kitchen utensils.
Both silicone and nylon cooking tools are preferable compared to metal utensils as they do not damage pots and pans. Silicone tools do not scratch off the coating on pans and skillets. However, a lot of chefs prefer silicone over nylon utensils as they have higher heat resistance, durable, and dishwasher-safe. Nylon kitchen utensils on the other hand are cheaper and can melt at a higher temperature, releasing chemicals during cooking.
Did we say easy to clean? Yup, silicone kitchenware is easy to clean, wash and some can simply be tossed into the dishwasher. They are also stain-resistant and do not retain odours when used to cook deep-coloured food. Also, silicone bakeware like muffin moulds can be washed and reused, unlike paper cups. They are extremely user-friendly when it comes to dealing with non-stick surfaces.
Silicone kitchen utensils won’t break, scratch, shatter and they will probably last forever. The rubber-like material also makes them flexible and won’t damage non-stick surfaces. Even though silicone is non-biodegradable, it can be recycled and remould into other products.
In some cases Pneumatic Linear Actuators are the most efficient solution to operate the gate valves remotely.
When more control and diagnostics are needed electric or electro-hydraulic units are better equipped.
When electricity is the source of power, but Emergency Shut-Down is a must, the self-contained Electro-Hydraulic units are the perfect solution. The Electro-Hydraulic units generate the power of hydraulics without having the need of a hydraulic system at the location. The electric part makes for excellent controls and feedback through any kind of network (Profibus, FoundationFieldbus, etc.).
Brands we use for Liquid Tank Terminals Applications are Rotork, Quincy-Ortman and Auma.
Liquid Tank Terminals Applications (often gate-valves) o Linear – Pneumatic or Hydraulic Linear Cylinders (fail-safe Optional) strong and cost-effective solution for operating multi-turn valves. o Electro-Hydraulic Fail-Safe – Electro-Hydraulic actuators provide fail-safe operation for higher torque requirements on multi-turn or quarter-turn valves. These units are powered by electricity which pumps the self-contained hydraulics to operate the actuator. Brands: Rotork, RCI. o Electric multi-turn – Electric units to operate multi-turn valves, often with strong controls. o Controls – Excellent communication/monitoring and diagnostics on the actuators to get feedback and operate remotely.
In addition to our, from stock available, standard assortment, we also craft individual systems with intensities up to 1,000 W/m² at any size in professional industry quality and if required with convection-, air- or watercooling, made in Germany.
Always brought to technical perfection and reliable with optional separately activatable and dimmable High-Quality white light.UVA lamps for surface illumination are often designed as stationary UV-LED lights. This means that the UVA lamp is permanently installed and, for example, is suspended from the ceiling or otherwise fixed. With the UVA lamp you have the advantage during the test process (e.g. in NDT, the leak test or magnetic particle test) that you have both hands free. Of course, the UVA lamp should be attached and aligned in such a way that you have the best possible display of the area illumination on the test object. We offer individually designed UVA lamps as a stationary version , for example to implement special requirements. The UVA lamp can be operated at an angle or “flying”. We find the right UVA lamp surface illumination for your situation and offer it including installation and introduction.
Special constructions of UV-A lamps are necessary in many areas of industry. Each industry has different standards and specifications for certain projects that do not stop at testing with a UV-A lamp. This is where SECU-CHEK comes in as a specialist for UV-A lamps. Together we will develop a future-proof UV-A lamp concept so that you can carry out your test procedures as effectively and cost-effectively as possible. The UV-A lamps from SECU-CHEK are easy to maintain, are characterized by low waste heat and do not emit dangerous UVB or UVC radiation. UV-A lamps are available as focused versions and as surface lamps.
What we see is directly tied to how light refracts off objects, creating the color we perceive. While the color of a wavelength is an objective measurement, the colors we perceive are not. The perception of color is even different between species.
Sometimes we need a bit of help at seeing things that may not be highlighted or made visible through traditional wavelengths of light. A UV light does a great job at providing us with a visual insight into refraction that we don’t see from regular sunlight or lighting that falls outside of the extreme ends of the light spectrum.
You’re undoubtedly familiar with the term fluorescence, which is the word given to something that exhibits traits that cannot be seen with regular light. Fluorescent objects will require a UV light to ‘decode’ – and its uses range from simple fun to exploration and even security and forensics.
UV flashlights may be able to offer you a glimpse into a world usually hidden from sight. And best of all, they can be acquired for an affordable price and bring unique and useful functionality that you don’t find with other devices.
Before you can purchase the right UV flashlight, it is important to understand what nm is and how it affects the light you purchase. Nm is short for nanometers. Ultraviolet light, or ultraviolet radiation as it is also known, covers the range from 10nm’s to 400nm’s. It can be broken down into these specific segments:
You’ll notice the visible spectrum separated from the rest of the electromagnetic spectrum in the image above. UV light falls just to the left of the visible spectrum, with infrared on the right. Below, we can take a further look into the UV side of the spectrum in more detail.
Fluorescence is used to manufacture government documents and banknotes to help detect fraudulent copies or counterfeit cash. When you go to the bank, you may have seen that the teller will wave the notes under a light while processing them; the light being used is a UV light. There will typically be fluorescence within the security strip of bills that won’t be visible to the naked eye but will show clearly under UV light. Similarly, with documents like passports, fluorescent fibers embedded in them will become visible under UV light.
A UV flashlight, in turn, is a great way to scan over bank notes or documents to see whether or not they are legitimate. It is a useful tool for someone who wants to ensure that they are never in possession of counterfeit banknotes, something that happens now and then through currency circulation outside of the bank.
Inspired by brands like Keurig and Sodastream, Juicero presses required the use of squeezable fruit pouches that were shipped to customers’ doors and had to be refrigerated. The machine was designed by Yves Behar’s studio, Fuse Project.
The company twice dropped the price of the machine, first to $400 and then even lower, according to a Fortune story in July. (A company representative said in an email that the second planned price drop never happened.) Juicero’s troubles were initially exposed in April by Bloomberg, which reported that the fruit pouches could be squeezed by hand with similar results.
Investors in the company included Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, GV (formerly known as Google Ventures), and Campbell Soup’s venture arm.
Juicero announced the shutdown in a blog post and cited the challenges of creating a nationwide distribution system. Juicero also offered refunds for the next 90 days to customers who had ordered its presses.
“We are confident that to truly have the long-term impact we want to make, we need to focus on finding an acquirer with an existing national fresh food supply chain who can carry forward the Juicero mission,” the company wrote.
Juicero founder Doug Evans previously started a juice bar business, Organic Avenue, which went bankrupt in 2015. The Juicero story has already become a cautionary tale for hardware and food tech investors.
The mold was selected according to the shape and diameter of the fruit. The fruit continues to be transported by hand in the mold. In the process of pushing, the fruit is first compacted and fixed, and then the machine tool is used to punch and split the core. The core and pulp are exported from different export, so as to separate the core of fruit and pulp. This pruning machine is widely used in fruit processing plants. Suitable for apricot, plum, crab, peach, plum, plum and other fruits. To get more news about fruit Seed Removing Machine, you can visit hl-juicer.com official website.

If you fancy the accessibility of a great smart lock, but prefer the look and feel of a traditional Yale deadbolt, it’s now possible to have both, all in one package. To get more news about wifi Fingerprint Smart Door lock, you can visit securamsys.com official website.
August – a sister company to traditional locksmiths Yale (both owned by parent company Assa Abloy) – has launched a smart lock that gives you a classic Yale lock on the outside, and an August Smart Lock on the inside. The set comes with two physical keys plus an August Connect Wi-Fi Bridge which allows you to control the lock remotely, granting guests access and sharing virtual keys with visitors.
You can also set up an auto-unlock which detects when you’re approaching the door and opens it for you – ideal if your hands are full.If you’re an anxious sort who (like many of us) worries about whether they shut the door as soon as they’ve driven away, it’s also easy to check on the app and see if the door is currently open or closed.
Wyze is back with another wallet-friendly device: the Wyze Lock Bolt has gone live and costs just $69.99 (well, $79.99 once you've paid the shipping).
"Why so cheap?" I hear you cry. And your cries are warranted, given that the August WiFi Smart Lock costs $250 and the new Apple Home Key friendly Schlage Encode Plus Smart WiFi Deadbolt is $300.
Well, it's because Wyze's new smart door lock isn't all that smart. There's no Wi-Fi, no cellular, heck there isn't even any Zigbee or Z-Wave going on.
It's smartness comes from being able to connect via Bluetooth with the Wyze app on your smartphone (iOS or Android). It, therefore, requires you to be within Bluetooth range of the lock to operate it using the app and that lack of internet connectivity means no remote access for guests.
However, that doesn't mean that your friends and family will be locked out should you not be home, you can create one-time passwords in the app to share for temporary access and, for regular callers, you can also store up to 20 permanent access codes and up to 50 fingerprints. My take is that the easiest features of a smart lock are all present and correct - local app access, codes, fingerprints - it's just a shame you won't be able to add lock/unlock states into smart home routines and automations.
The Wyze Lock Bolt is battery powered (4 x AA) and the budget smart home specialist says it's good for 12 months between changes. There's emergency USB-C power on board should you accidentally let the juice run dry.
Fingerprint recognition is stated at just 0.5 seconds and Wyze says it takes just 20 minutes to install and replace your existing deadbolt.

Once you open the app, you will see a big red circle. It will turn green and unlock the door if Bluetooth is in range. Coming towards functionality, the smart lock is very versatile.
Another interesting feature is the Auto-Unlock that will lock the door automatically while you are 100 yards away.
