One of the keys to Fortnite Items achievement has been Epic relationship with its playerbase. The fans love something, Epic is quick to  include more of it. Fans hate something, Epic is fast to not force the matter, and change things.

While legendary weapons are strong guns that anybody can find and pick around the planet, there's only one single copy of a mythic weapon around the map at any given time, in this case, that the Infinity Blade being found in Polar Peak, which gives its wielder superhuman health, protects, damage and mobility.

This has totally turned the game on its head in both the amateur and pro scenes, it is so notable that it sounds like there is rarely counterplay for this, and it negates a lot of the abilities that players have learned to excel at Fortnite so far. But Epic seems to be fortnite weapons buy doubling down on the concept, which is led to a set of exchanges that have cemented this rift between players and them.

The Infinity Blade is introduced and causes chaos in routine sport modes both for experts and ordinary players.Players call for the Infinity Blade to be eliminated from routine game modes and either vaulted or put in an LTM. 

Epic's first reaction to these issues would be to state that they're fixing a bug that has been providing the swordbearer 100 wellbeing on kill instead of 50 wellbeing on kill.Players are angry that Epic doesn't seem to be listening or comprehend the root of the issue at all.
