Sydney are into their third AFL grand final in five years after ambushing Geelong early on Friday night at the MCG and winning by 37 points. Air Max Flyknit Womens Sale .The 2012 premiers jumped Geelong with the first eight goals of their preliminary final on the way to a convincing win, 15.7 (97) to 8.12 (60).The Swans will play the winner of Saturdays preliminary final between the Giants and the Western Bulldogs at Spotless Stadium.Geelong fought back hard in the third term to create some interest in the contest, but they were coming from too far back after trailing by 55 points.Sydneys early domination will reignite debate about the fairness of the round-23 bye. After Geelong beat Hawthorn in their qualifying final, it meant the Cats had played only once in 26 days before Friday night.By contrast, the Swans lost their qualifying final and had to come through last weeks semis. This had been widely tipped to be a tight battle, with little appearing to separate two of the leagues toughest teams. But the Swans pressure initially was manic and they put Geelong out of the contest early. It was reminiscent of the mugging Hawthorn inflicted on the Swans in the opening quarter of the 2014 grand final.Sydney kicked 7.2 to five behinds in the first quarter and the Cats did not score their first goal until four minutes into the second term.Isaac Heeney, Lance Franklin, Ben McGlynn, Luke Parker with two goals in as many minutes, and Dane Rampe set Sydney alight in the first quarter. The domination continued in the second term, with Sydney kicking four goals to two.Cats defender Harry Taylor went forward in the third term and kicked two goals as Geelong worked their way back into the match. When they kicked the first goal of the last term, they only trailed by five goals. But Cats veteran Corey Enright mucked up a kickout and Gary Rohan pounced at five minutes to kick the steadying goal that killed off Geelongs belated challenge.Geelong remarkably won the inside-50 count by a whopping 72 to 40, but they butchered too many chances in front of goal and the Swans defence, led by All Australian Dane Rampe, was outstanding.Swans defender Aliir Aliir hurt his knee late in the first term and he will be their injury story of grand final week. But he was running along the boundary nearing halftime and might have been put on ice.Teammates Gary Rohan and Kurt Tippett, who were injured earlier in the finals series, had solid games on Friday night.Swans co-captain Jarrad McVeigh missed the match with a calf injury and said pre-game he was close to being available.Brownlow Medal favourite Patrick Dangerfield was best for the Cats.Geelong veteran Jimmy Bartel, who kicked a great goal in the second term, faces an uncertain AFL future. While he is likely to stay at Geelong, there is speculation about how much time he will spend next year in the VFL.Swans coach John Longmire praised his sides early ferocity. It was enormous, our pressure at the ball, the man with the ball, he said.He admitted to concern when Geelong pressed in the second half, but again was pleased that his team withstood the pressure. This is finals footy - youre not going to have it all your own way, he said. They certainly had a lot of inside 50s, but I thought our boys really stood up.We were one down (with Aliir injured) and kept going at it.Longmire said Aliir was a bit sore and added it was unclear whether he would be fit for the grand final. It was pointed out to Longmire that whoever Sydney play in the grand final is chasing history. So are we, was Longmires response. The Swans have regenerated their team superbly in the last two years, but Longmire said they still had to complete their hard work. Were thrilled to get an opportunity, but now we have to go out and execute - the job is ahead of us, he said.Cats coach Chris Scott said their opinion on the finals bye was unchanged - that they would rather have had it.We clearly need to analyse how we approached it, he said.We were confident going in ... we thought we gave ourselves every chance. It was completely in our control and we just didnt deliver. Cheap Nike Flyknit Shoes . -- Nathan Pancel scored twice as the Sudbury Wolves defeated the North Bay Battalion 4-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action. Air Max Flyknit Womens Price . The Redskins announced Monday that the quarterback who led the team to the Super Bowl championship in the 1987 season will serve as a personnel executive. AUSTIN, Texas -- Tom Herman now gets his chance for a Texas takeover.Herman, who coached Houston to national prominence the last two seasons, was announced as the new Texas coach Saturday, replacing Charlie Strong, who was fired in the morning after three consecutive losing seasons.Longhorn football has been -- and always will be -- a national power, winning and playing for national championships with great pride and passion, supported by an unbelievable fan base, Herman said in statement released by Texas.Contract details were not immediately released, and must still be approved by Texas Board of Regents. Texas still owes Strong nearly $11 million on his original five-year guaranteed contract.Texas acted quickly to snag Herman, who has only two years of experience as a head coach but is 22-4 with the Cougars, with a 9-3 mark this season after Fridays loss to Memphis . Hermans name had emerged as a top target for Texas officials as Strongs final season started 2-0 but faded to a 5-7 finish.Hermans brief stint at Houston galvanized the Cougars program. The coach coined the phrase H-Town Takeover in a bid to energize the local fan base and keep Houston-area recruits at home. The 41-year-old Herman now gets a chance to do the same at one of college footballs blue-blood programs, stocked with money, prestige, its own television network and a feverish fan base.Herman was offensive coordinator at Ohio State when the Buckeyes won the 2014 season national championship. He spent a season at Texas as a graduate assistant early in his career under former Longhorns coach Mack Brown.Hermans record at Houston and big wins over top programs such as Florida State and Oklahoma had pushed the Cougars into early-season College Football Playoff contenders as well as candidates for a move to the Big 12. Neither scenario happened, however, as the Cougars dropped midseason games against Navy and SMU and the Big 12 chose not to expand .Herman was regularly mentioned as a possible candidate at several schools, notably LSU . But most of the attention focused on Texas, where Strong was in his third losing season in a row.Tom was the hottest young head coach in the country the past two seasons, and I am thrilled we are able to get him back to UT to lead Texas football, Texas President Greg Fenves said.Houston Vice President for Athletics Hunter Yurachek said the university was grateful to Herman for his two years. Defensive coordinator Todd Orlando will be Houstonns interim head coach for its upcoming bowl game. Nike Air Max Flyknit Mens On Sale. In his short time in Houston, Tom Herman elevated the Houston Football program to new heights, and we are grateful for his contributions to our program. The entire University of Houston community wishes he and his family continued success in this new chapter in their lives, Yurachek said.Texas is desperate for a return to the nations elite. The Longhorns had a decade-long run of 10-win seasons under Mack Brown from 2000-2009, a span that included two Big 12 championships, one national championship and playing for another. But Texas hasnt won a Big 12 title since 2009 and Strong was just 16-21 overall, ending with a 31-9 loss to TCU on Friday.Herman takes over a program that most see as loaded with talent that just hasnt been able to win. Strongs recruiting classes were ranked among the best in the country the Longhorns two-deep roster is stocked mostly with sophomores and freshmen. One of Hermans first jobs may be sitting down with junior running back DOnta Foreman, who rushed for more than 2,000 yards this season, to gauge whether Foreman plans to turn pro.Herman said he met with Fenves and Texas athletic director Mike Perrin well in the pre-dawn hours Saturday to reach an agreement.I came away very impressed with their unified vision and commitment to football, and Im excited to be the head coach at the flagship university of the greatest state in the union. I am eager to get to Austin as soon as possible, to spend time with our student-athletes and to get to work, Herman said.Strong was the first black head football coach in Texas history and many of his players had pleaded this week for him to be allowed to return. Despite swirling reports that he would be fired, school administrators had pledged no decision would be made until after the final game. Its a very difficult day for me, my family and all of the people affected by this decision, Strong said. I do understand that it comes down to wins and losses, and we have not done our job in that area yet. I accept full responsibility for that, but know in my heart that we accomplished our primary goal, which is the development of young men.---AP College Football Writer Ralph D. Bristol have announced the signing of former Wasps and Worcester hooker Edd Shervington on a short-term contract. Adidas Supercolor Lichtroze .Shervington, 31, moves to the Aviva Premiership club until the end of next month, providing injury cover.Bristol are currently without hookers Marc Jones, Max Crumpton and Ross McMillan, leaving only Chris Brooker and Rob Hawkins in that department. After the injury to Ross, we acted quickly to ensure we had cover in the hooker position. Ross will be unavailable for up to six months, Bristol rugby director Andy Robinson told www.bristolrugby.co.uk. Edd was available and lives relatively locally, so it suits us as a short-term solution. With Anglo-Welsh Cup rugby and Aviva Premiership fixtures in November, its important we have the numbers to compete. Yeezy Nederland . -- Aaron Murray threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns, ran for another score, and led No. Adidas Nmd Xr1 Kopen . -- Ty Montgomery had 290 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, and fifth-ranked Stanford held on to beat No. http://www.nmdschoenen.nl/zx-flux-schoenen-nederland/zx-flux-wit.html . The fleeting storm along Lake Erie couldnt have come at a better time for the Chicago Cubs.It was as if the gods finally cut this snake-bit franchise a long overdue break. One hundred and eight years overdue.Shell-shocked after blowing a three-run lead with four outs to go in Game 7 of the World Series, the Cubs looked more like deer staring into headlights as they headed to extra innings against the Cleveland Indians. A series of head-scratching moves by manager Joe Maddon, who seemed intent on making sure the drought lasted into its 109th year, cost Chicago a chance to wrap this thing up in regulation. Then it started raining. The tarp was hurriedly rolled out to cover the infield and the Cubs used the unexpected break to regain their composure with a hastily called team meeting. The delay lasted only 17 minutes, but that was long enough to steady their shaky nerves.Chicago went out in the 10th inning and turned a 6-6 tie into an 8-6 lead. Ben Zobrist delivered a run-scoring double down the left-field line, and third-string catcher Miguel Montero followed with an RBI single to give the Cubs some much-needed breathing room. Then, shortly before 1 a.m. on the East Coast, the Cubs stamped out the Curse of the Billy Goat and Steve Bartman and Black Cats and Fly Balls Lost In the Sun -- everything that conspired to keep them from celebrating a World Series title since their last one in 1908. With the gutsy Indians having scored one final run, cutting the deficit to 8-7 and putting the potential tying run on base, third baseman Kris Bryant swept across the infield, scooped up a soft ground ball and whipped a throw over to first baseman Anthony Rizzo to end it once and for all.Next year finally arrived. Now, they can hoist a championship banner over Wrigley Field, not just a W flag.It happened! It happened! Chicago, it happened! Rizzo kept saying over and over again, as if he wasnt quite sure about it himself. We did it! Were world champions! I tell ya, were world champions! I cant believe it!As one shouldve expected for a franchise that has endured so much misery, the Series-clinching win was downright gut-wrenching. Really, that was the way it had to be. The Cubs raced out to a 5-1 lead and were still up 6-3 with two outs in the eighth. But Maddon had already set in motion an excruciating finish for long-suffering Cubs fans by yanking starter Kyle Hendricks far too soon, and then calling upon overworked closer Aroldis Chapman in the eighth to close things out.Chapman, predictably, surrendered a run-scoring hit to make it 6-4, followed by a two-run hoomer to Rajai Davis that sent Clevelands fans -- who know a thing or two about suffering -- into a delirious dance. Ultra Boost Nederland. ith the Cavaliers drought-breaking NBA title already in the bank just a few months ago, it looked as though the Indians would improbably bring home their first World Series title since 1948 to add to the citys trophy case. In the ninth, when Maddon inexplicably called for a safety suicide bunt with two strikes, only to have Javier Baez foul it off for a strikeout with the potential go-ahead run at third base, it seemed inevitable that Chicago would find a way to blow it.Then the skies opened up.And the Cubs settled down.Jason Heyward, a big free-agent signee whos been a huge disappointment in an otherwise thrilling season, called his teammates together in the weight room.I just had to remind everybody who we are and what it took to get here, Heyward said. His words settled everyone down.It was the best thing for us, Bryant said.Rizzo concurred. We rallied together, he said. We knew we could do this. We pulled together and the boys believed.Team architect Theo Epstein, who oversaw a drought-breaking title for the Boston Red Sox in 2004 and now has done the same with the Cubs, happened to walk past the weight room during the delay. They were all gathered around saying, `This is only going to make it sweeter boys. Lets grind. Lets grind. Here we go, Epstein related. They went out and had an unbelievable inning.Cleveland manager Terry Francona downplayed the stoppage, saying he didnt think it decided the game.I dont think it really did, he said. Bryan Shaw was the guy we had out there. Of all the guys we have, he probably bounces back as good as anybody. But Shaw, who got the final two outs in the ninth, looked like a totally different pitcher when he went back to the mound in the 10th. He surrendered three hits and two intentional walks. The only out he got was a towering fly ball by Bryant that was caught just short of the wall in center field. For the Indians, the drought goes on.For the Cubs, theres no more talk about 1908.They are World Series champions. All it took was a stirring comeback from a 3-1 deficit, one of the greatest Game 7s in baseball history -- and a little help from above.---Paul Newberry is a sports columnist for The Associated Press. BOSTON -- Prosecutors can examine a cellphone owned by former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez for possible evidence in his upcoming double murder trial, the highest court in Massachusetts ruled Friday, ending a long-running legal battle.Hernandez gave the phone to his former attorney in 2013 when he was being investigated in the killing of Odin Lloyd. The former tight end was convicted in that case and is serving a life sentence.Hernandez is now awaiting trial in the 2012 killings of two men he encountered at a Boston nightclub. Prosecutors say Hernandez was angry that one of the men accidentally bumped into him at the club and caused him to spill his drink. Hernandez is also accused of shooting and wounding a friend, Alexander Bradley, to keep him from talking about the killings.Bradley was with Hernandez the night of the killings and is expected to be the star prosecution witness at his trial, scheduled to begin in February.Hernandezs former attorneys had argued that they had the right to keep the phone because Hernandez had given it to them at a time when he was seeking legal advice while under investigatioon in Lloyds killing. Black Ugg Boots Sale. In its ruling, the Supreme Judicial Court found that once Hernandezs attorneys downloaded the contents of the phone, they had no legitimate purpose for keeping it.In such circumstances, the continued retention of this device can only be understood as having the effect of concealing or removing it from the observation of others, namely the Commonwealth, Justice Francis Spina wrote for the court.Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley said prosecutors have already begun the process of seeking a search warrant for the phone. The SJCs decision is grounded in the law and in common sense, Conley said. No court or legislature ever intended that critical evidence could be placed beyond the reach of investigators, in perpetuity, simply by providing it to an attorney.Hernandez recently hired a new defense team, led by Jose Baez, a Florida attorney who won an acquittal for Casey Anthony in the killing of her daughter. Baez did not immediately reply to a request for comment. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

CHAPEL HILL, N. Cheap Nike Huarache Mens .C. -- North Carolina coach Larry Fedora sees his team making plenty of mistakes, even after a pair of last-second wins that vaulted the 17th-ranked Tar Heels back into the national rankings .Hes trying to figure out how to fix them entering Saturdays game against No. 25 Virginia Tech.If we can ever get that accomplished, you would see some fireworks out there, he said. It would be pretty dang good. And thats the potential of this football team.Thats the balance for Fedora. His Tar Heels (4-1, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) sit atop the leagues Coastal Division after rallying to beat Pittsburgh and then-No. 12 Florida State with scores in the last 5 seconds each time. But UNC is still spotty on defense, while the offense that has the potential to sprint past anyone still has moments that Fedora wants to clean up.Against the Seminoles, for example, it was Elijah Hoods fumble near the FSU goal line. Fedora said there was some gloom when coaches reviewed film of a thrilling win.Everybody knows you cant keep living on the edge like that, Fedora said. The Hokies (3-1, 1-0) are coming off a bye week and bring a tough defense to face UNCs rolling offense. Virginia Techs offense, a faster-tempo scheme brought by new coach Justin Fuente from Memphis, has been particularly sharp in the last two games, rolling to 103 points in lopsided home wins against Boston College and East Carolina.Virginia Tech is making its first appearance in the AP Top 25 this season, setting up the first game between two ranked teams at UNCs Kenan Stadium since 2008.Its great for our fans to take pride in and get excited about, Fuente said. It may add to more fanfare on the outside about the upcoming games, but its not something that we draw a lot of focus on.---Here are things to know about Saturdays Virginia Tech-North Carolina game:STOPPING THE PASS: UNC quarterback Mitch Trubisky has three straight 400-yard passing games and is yet to throw an interception this year. Meanwhile, receiver Ryan Switzer enters with a two-game ACC record of 30 catches in the Pitt and FSU wins, prompting Trubisky to say that it sometimes seems its just me and him out there playing catch. But the Hokies defense led by longtime coordinator Bud Foster ranks ninth nationally by allowing 264.3 yards per game and 10th against the pass.HOKIES ATTACK: Virginia Techs offense is taking shape. The Hokies have scored at least 36 points in every game, the outlier coming when they lost five fumbles in a 45-24 loss to Tennessee. Junior college transfer Jerod Evans has started all four games, throwing for 13 touchdowns with just one interception.DEFENSIVE CONCERNS: The Tar Heels are still up and down on defense. They struggled for three quarters against Pitt before coming up with two straight three-and-outs in the fourth quarter to set up the comeback win, then held FSU to 14 points through the first three quarters before giving up 21 in the final quarter. The players know it, and we are very adamant about getting those (mistakes) cleaned up, defensive coordinator Gene Chizik said. Its about time we do it, right?TELLING STRETCH: The Tar Heels are seeking to become the first repeat Coastal champion since the Hokies did it from 2010-11. This will be the third game in a critical four-week stretch that could put them in control of that race, assuming they can win Saturday and then again at No. 10 Miami next week.WEATHER CONCERNS: Hurricane Matthew has been moving north since early in the week. That could affect game conditions with wind and rain, depending on the course the storm takes as it continues its trek into Friday evening.---AP Sports Writer Hank Kurz in Richmond, Virginia, contributed to this report.---Follow Aaron Beard on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/aaronbeardap and the APs college football site at http://collegefootball.ap.org Cheap Nike Huarache Sale . The formidable trio of Canadian receivers -- individually known as Chris Getzlaf, Rob Bagg and Andy Fantuz -- will share the field at Mosaic Stadium one more time on Sunday. http://www.imbrucem.com/huaraches-pink-for-sale.html . -- The Magic have their first victory of the new year. When San Francisco 49ers rookie running back Frank Gore bounced the ball to the outside, I knew there was a problem. Yeah, my legs were moving. And I was playing hard as a safety for the Washington Redskins back in 2005. But I just couldnt get there. That burst I had counted on as a defensive back was missing. The reason? I had blown out my knee less than a year before. It just gave way while covering a kick on a Sunday night game against the Baltimore Ravens. Boom. See ya next season. It takes a long time to get back on the field after popping an ACL -- and an even longer time to feel like yourself as a player. I learned that the hard way against Gore, who took that run 72 yards to the house, the first of many in his long career. You see, my plan was to knock him out of bounds. Just survive the play after taking a poor angle from the jump. But when I couldnt quite get there, I dove for Gores legs and came up with nothing. Zip. Well, except for a face-first landing into the grass at FedEx Field.Man, Mondays film session was brutal. I barely recognized the guy lumbering after Gore in an attempt to save that touchdown. Everyone in the meeting room knew the gig was up. Heck, I was still in recovery mode. The explosion, the burst, the acceleration? Nah. It just wasnt there yet. But you try to play through it. You have no choice when your job is on the line. That was a lonely moment for me -- a reality check, too. And I was just a guy at that point, a special teams dude playing some safety, trying to grind out a couple more years in the league. For defensive back Tyrann Mathieu, the situation is obviously different as the Arizona Cardinals get ready to play the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Mathieu is one of the best overall players in the league. And I mean that. The versatility? The ball skills? The natural coverage ability? Off the charts, all of it. I love this guys game. But Mathieu tore up his right knee in December. Trust me, hes a straight-up warrior for being back in the lineup this soon, but you cant just expect him to go back to playing like himself immediatelly. Huaraches Red And White. Until Arizonas Week 5 matchup against the 49ers, Mathieu wasnt playing his normal role in the slot. Instead he was aligning over the top as a safety. That allowed the Cardinals to ease him back onto the field and to also limit the change-of-direction movements -- and stress -- put on his knee as a slot defender.Lining up as a slot corner is one of the toughest jobs in sports when youre healthy. But when youre less than nine months removed from ACL surgery, as Mathieu was when the season started, its a whole different ballgame.Mathieu has been here before, having torn his left ACL in 2013. Plus, Mathieu got some serious run in the slot against San Fran in Week 5: 71 snaps. Thats a big workload on a short week for a guy still working his way back. His performance? Head coach Bruce Arians called it rusty, and Mathieu himself?had similar opinions. I get it. All players do. This thing takes time. The positive sign here? The Cardinals are putting Mathieu in his natural role again. Its a start, a progression of sorts, as Mathieu continues on this road back. And thats the key thing to understand with Mathieu. Not everyone can perform like Adrian Peterson did coming off an ACL in 2012, when he nearly broke the single-season rushing record. That type of performance is super rare, and the narratives surrounding ACL injuries arent that simple. You dont just flip a switch and immediately start lighting up guys on the field after getting cut on and pushing through the rehab cycle.Nah, it doesnt work like that. Even when youre back practicing or playing, the daily maintenance is a grind. Ice. Stretch. Ice some more. Push through the stiffness, the drop in flexibility. Deal with the residual pain that lingers after practice, after games. Its constant. But I would bet big on Mathieu to push through. Hell be back wrecking game plans and dictating matchups in no time.ESPN.com NFL analyst Matt Bowen played seven seasons as a defensive back in the NFL. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Warwickshire 119 for 2 (Ambrose 54*) beat Worcestershire 115 (Clarke 5-26) by eight wicketsScorecard Rikki Clarkes limited-overs best figures of 5 for 26 set Warwickshire cruising to an eight-wicket Royal London Cup victory over Worcestershire at Edgbaston. Ugg Bailey Bow Scontati .Clarkes first List A five-for, which included three maidens as he bowled his 10-over allocation straight through, reduced the visitors to 19 for 6 - a position from which they could recover only partially to 115 all out. Will Porterfield and Tim Ambrose then shared an unbroken partnership of 79 as the Bears coasted home with more than 27 overs to spare. They now join their neighbours on five points in a group table which remains very tight due to so many early matches having been washed out.Worcestershire chose to bat but had cause to regret that decision when they crashed to 19 for 6 in the ninth over. The havoc was wreaked by a spell of superb, straight seam bowling from Clarke who took wickets with his fifth, 17th, 20th, 27th and 28th balls.Tom Kohler-Cadmore edged the allrounder to first slip and then, after Tom Fell was lbw to Keith Barker, Clarke dismissed four batsmen in 11 balls with a lethal blend of accuracy and pace. Alex Kervezee was bowled and Ross Whiteley, Daryl Mitchell and George Rhodes were pinned lbw, the last two with successive balls.Ben Cox and Joe Leach took the score to 41 to at last force a bowling change but Recordo Gordon came on and struck with his fifth ball, which Cox drove straight to Sam Hain at cover.Leach made a patient 29 from 65 balls with only two fours and Ed Barnard added 38 from 64 deliveries as the pair combined for 60 runs in 18 overs for the eighth over before the former, having batted with impressive restraint, was bowled on the back foot by Oliver Hannon-Dalby.Barnard perished in the next over when he drilled a return catch back to Jeetan Patel and when Jack Shantry lifted Patel to mid-off, where Keith Barker took a sharp head-high catch, the innings ended with 70 balls unused.Warwickshire openers Porterfield and Sam Hain reduced the target by a third before Hain edged Charlie Morris behind for 21. Morris made it two wickets in six balls when he trapped Jonathan Trott lbw but Porterfield finished on 37 not out, playing the perfect anchor role while Ambrose thrashed 54 from 42 balls to inject impetus to the chase. UGG Classic Short Sparkles . -- Gus Malzahn finally had his day in Fayetteville. Ugg Bambina Offerte . The 29-year-old Baines has established himself as one of the top attacking full backs in the country and was the subject of two bids from United during the last off-season. Everton manager Roberto Martinez says that keeping Baines at the club is a "massive boost and exciting for the future" because he brings "maturity and football knowledge in a very specialized position on the pitch" and an "infectious and positive influence to the rest of the squad. http://www.stivaliscontatiitalia.it/ . Thats not a comment on the suspension that banished the Portland Winterhawks general manager and coach from his Western Hockey League teams bench for most of the 2012-13 season.Recently-retired Assistant Chief Constable Andy Ward will lead the independent review into UK Anti-Dopings handling of the Dr Mark Bonar affair. Ward, who left his post with Merseyside Police in January, has been appointed by the UKAD Board, with the agreement of Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport John Whittingdale. The inquiry has been set up following allegations in The Sunday Times last weekend that Bonar prescribed performance-enhancing drugs to 150 athletes. Culture, Media and Sport Secretary John Whittingdale has backed Wards appointment The newspaper claimed UKAD was given information about the doctors alleged doping activities two years ago but failed to take action.UKAD chairman David Kenworthy said on the organisations website: Andy Ward is a strong choice to carry out the review into UK Anti-Dopings handling of intelligence in relation to Dr Mark Bonar. He is independent of sport so will bring a fresh and uninfluenced perspective, whilst his extensive experience of intelliigence handling will be critical to the review. Stivali Ugg Scontatissimi. Andys role will be to examine how the information supplied by the sportsperson was handled and whether proper procedures were followed. UKAD chief Nicole Sapstead says the organisation welcome the investigation The storm caused by the allegations has put pressure on UKADs chief executive Nicole Sapstead but she insists her organisation welcomes the investigation.UK Anti-Doping is extremely concerned by the allegations made in the Sunday Times, Sapstead said in an interview with Sky News.We will be investigating fully those allegations but we are now the subject of an independent review and it would be deeply inappropriate for me to say anything further at this time. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From ChinaCheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks are planning a $192.5 million renovation of Philips Arena, with the city providing the bulk of the funding. As part of the deal announced Tuesday, the Hawks agreed to an 18-year lease extension to remain at the city-owned arena through 2046.The city will contribute $142.5 million toward the project, which will most noticeably alter the look of the luxury boxes stacked on one side of the arena. There will be new amenities, a variety of different-size suites, improved sightlines for basketball, a state-of-the-art video system, and connected concourses throughout the 17-year-old facility.Philips Arena originally was built to host both the NBAs Hawks and the NHLs Atlanta Thrashers. The hockey team moved to Winnipeg in 2011.Mayor Kasim Reed had pledged to contribute to an arena renovation when the Hawks were in the process of being sold by former controlling owner Bruce Levenson, who gave up the team after revealing that he sent a racially insensitive email. Tony Ressler wound up leading a group that purchased the Hawks and operating rights to the arena.Ressler said all along that he preferred to remain downtown rather than pursue a new facility, as long as Philips Arena was upgraded. We knew that a key part of producing a winning team, providing a superior fan experience and being a civic asset to the city of Atlanta required a renovation of our arena and a meaningful improvement to the downtown area of this city, Ressler said. Todays announcement with the mayor is a significant step toward this goal, and we look forward to this exciting transformation that will ensure that we provide the best fan experience possible now and for the next 30 years.Reed said the renovation was part of a long-range plan to transform an unsightly tract of downtown adjacent to the arena and the new $1.4 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a retractable-roof facility set to open next year as home to the NFL Falcons and a Major League Soccer expansion team, Atlanta United. There have been talks about turning the area, known as the gulch, into a mixed-used development much like the highly successful LAA Live complex next to Staples Center in Los Angeles. Cheap NFL Jerseys China. . Reed said its part of a plan to connect the sports venues to popular tourist attractions around Centennial Olympic Park, as well as to one of the citys biggest development flops, Underground Atlanta. This is the first stake in the ground in transforming the critical corridor, Reed said. I want to thank Tony Ressler and the Atlanta Hawks ownership for committing to this deal that will keep the NBA in our city and help re-imagine downtown for the millions of residents, visitors and tourists who come to Atlanta each year. Its another huge commitment by the city to a sports venue, though Reed stressed that no money from the citys general fund will be used and no new taxes will be needed.About $110 million will come from extension of car-rental tax and the city will contribute $12.5 million from the sale of Turner Field to Georgia State University and a development company, a deal expected to close by the end of the year. The remaining $20 million from the city will come from a series of expected future land sales, the mayor added during a City Hall announcement. The renovation of Philips Arena comes on the heels of the city agreeing to spend at least $200 million -- and perhaps much more, some critics have argued -- for the Falcons new stadium, which will replace the 24-year-old Georgia Dome. In addition, suburban Cobb County put up some $400 million on public funding to build a new baseball stadium for the Atlanta Braves that opens next season.SunTrust Park, about 12 miles from downtown, will replace Turner Field even though that stadium is only two decades old. Georgia State plans to downsize the Braves former home into a 30,000-seat stadium for its football program. The renovations on Philips Arena will begin next summer and should be completed by the start of the 2018-19 season. The Hawks will continue to play at the arena during the overhaul, with much of the work being done over the next two offseasons. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

TOKYO -- The countdown to the 2020 Olympics began Wednesday with the arrival of the Olympic flag in Tokyo from Rio de Janeiro. Nike Air Max 97 Mens . The contrast between the two host cities couldnt be starker. Instead of samba in the streets, there will be robots and self-driving cars. Five things to know about the next Summer Games:HIGH-TECH OLYMPICSWhen Tokyo first hosted the Olympics in 1964, the games symbolized Japans recovery from the devastation of World War II and return to the international community. The high-speed `Shinkansen bullet train service, launched the same year, became a symbol of Japans technological prowess.Half a century later, Tokyo is one of the most futuristic cities in the world, from its smart-card train systems that run like clockwork to electronic toilets with heated seats that baffle some first-time visitors (How do I flush this thing?).Japan plans to use the 2020 Games to showcase more cutting-edge technology, with robots, instant language translation, self-driving vehicles and high-definition 8K TV all on display.---GETTING AROUNDThe Tokyo Games wont be as compact as promised. While original plans called for all venues to be within an eight-kilometer (five-mile) radius of the Olympic Village, that wont be the case.In an effort to cut costs, several events such as basketball, cycling and taekwondo have been moved to existing facilities outside of Tokyo instead of building new ones.Tokyos network of crisscrossing subway and commuter train lines will help. The challenge will be helping visitors navigate a system that is so extensive, it can be confusing.---NEW SPORTSThe games will have a different look from a sporting perspective.Baseball and softball, surfing, skateboarding, karate and sports climbing have all been added to the program.Baseball and softball, which are returning for the first time since 2008, and karate are popular in Japan.Surfing, skateboarding and sports climbing have been added in a bid to appeal to a younger generation of athletes and fans.---SCANDALSEvery Olympics seems to have its scandals, and Tokyo is no exception.Work on a new main stadium has fallen behind schedule, because the government abandoned the original design due to spiraling costs. The original logo for the games, unveiled with much fanfare, was scrapped over accusations of plagiarism. The shifting of some events from new to existing venues has saved 200 billion yen ($2 billion), but overall costs are still expected to far exceed initial estimates. The Tokyo organizing committee has admitted that the operating costs for the Games will be considerably higher than the $3 billion forecast in its bid, but it hasnt disclosed a new estimate. That doesnt include the cost of building new sports venues and other Games-related infrastructure.---EARTHQUAKESThen there are the forces that are beyond anyones control.Tokyo is regularly shaken by moderate earthquakes. They rarely cause any damage in a city where buildings are designed to withstand the shock, but experts warn that a major earthquake could happen anytime. The coast of northeastern Japan was devastated in 2011 when an offshore magnitude 9.0 earthquake spawned a tsunami that killed more than 18,000 people and triggered meltdowns at three reactors at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant.Tokyo hasnt had a massive earthquake in nearly a century, since a magnitude 7.9 quake and subsequent fires killed 140,000 people in 1923, so it may be overdue, although the timing of earthquakes is unpredictable. Air Max 97 White Snakeskin . Then the Pacers gave Oladipo and his Orlando teammates the cold shoulder. Paul Georges buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the end of the third quarter spurred a 21-4 run, finally sending Indiana past the Magic 97-87 in a tougher-than-expected opening night matchup. Buy Nike Air Max 97 . Mats Zuccarello and Derek Stepan scored shootout goals, and backup goalie Cam Talbot earned his second win in two nights as the Rangers shook off a late tying tally and beat the Maple Leafs 2-1 Monday night. http://www.airmax97silveruk.com/nike-air-vapormax-uk.html . -- The St. Johns IceCaps weathered a wild first period with the help of goaltender Jussi Olkinuora, before finding offensive inroads in the second. CONCORD, N.C. -- Danica Patrick emerged unscathed from a caution-filled Bank of America 500 Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway to record an 11th-place finish -- her best this season.I was really hoping wed end up getting a top 10, but [Jamie] McMurray got us on the last lap, so we ended up 11th, Patrick said shortly after the 334-lap races conclusion. Well take it and try to keep building over the last few races to put ourselves in a better position for next season.Patricks best finish this year prior to Sunday was 13th at Dover in May. She now possesses four top-15 finishes this season. She has produced at least one top-10 finish every year since joining the Sprint Cup Series full time in 2013 and still stands a good chance of hitting that mark this season. Of the six tracks remaining on this years schedule, she has recorded top-10 finishes at two of them: Kansas and Martinsville, Virginia.Patrick qualified 13th for the Charlotte race that was postponed from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon due to heavy rain from Hurricane Matthew. She ran in the top 20 for most of the event, which had eight caution flags for 51 laps and a 10-minute, 48-second red flag for a 12-car wreck. No one was injured in the multi-car incident. The 34-year-old Patrick noted her Chevrolet was loose for most of the race, but her team, headed byy crew chief Billy Scott, made adjustments in the early going to get us in solid position for the second half. Nike Air Max 98 Black. With 18 laps remaining, Patrick was eighth. Thirteen laps later she was 10th, one position behind teammate Tony Stewart. She maintained the top-10 spot until the final lap, when McMurray passed her on the 1.5-mile track. Six-time NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson won the event, breaking a 24-race winless streak. We had a mistake on pit road late in the race and lost some ground when I overshot the pit stall, but the guys quickly recovered and we ended up only losing a couple of spots, Patrick said. The car got a little tight, but they took some wedge back out and it was pretty good there at the end.Patricks pit stall was immediately in front of teammate Kurt Buschs and since both remained on the lead lap for most of the event, it could have contributed to her pit road miscue. She was on the lead lap and kept coming around us and it boxed us in, said Busch, who finished eighth. We dont need that, but we werent the ones penalized. They were the ones penalized on their pit position.Patrick and her Stewart-Haas Racing team now head to Kansas for the Oct. 16 Hollywood Casino 400.Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told the world his secret: Hes joining Manchester United. Puma Pantofle Rihanna .The enigmatic Swedish striker said Thursday on his official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts that his next club will be the English Premier League giant. Ibrahimovic would be joining as a free agent, with his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expiring in the offseason. The English Premier League club is making no comment.Time to let the world know. My next destination is ManUtd, the 34-year-old Ibrahimovic told his 3.74 million followers on Twitter above an image of Uniteds club badge. He said the same on his Instagram account.Sections of the British media are reporting that Ibrahimovic will join on an initial one-year deal.Ibrahimovic, who retired from international duty with Sweden after his countrys group-stage exit from the European Championship last week, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks. He told a news conference while on international duty last month that he had made a decision on his next club, but would not elaborate.Ibrahimovic would be linking up with former coach Jose Mourinho, who got on well with the pony-tailed forward during their time together at Inter Milan in the 2008-09 season. It would be Ibrahimovics first stint in England, having also played for Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona and AC Milan. He has won league titles in four countries, most recently for four seasons in a row at PSG. Last season, Ibrahimovic scored 38 goals in 31 games in Frances Ligue 1, putting him second behind Luis Suarez in the list of top scorers in Europes top five leagues.A serial winner of trophies like Mourinho, Ibrahimovic said recently that, at 34, he is only warming up.I have proved age is just a number, he said. Everything is in your head. Whatever you want to do, you will do it. Its a mind game. If I want to make it, Ill make it.Mourinho has already signed Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly since being announced as United manager last month, and the signing of Ibrahimovic would add competition in the striker department that was lacking at United last season under the now-departed coach, Louis van Gaal.Marcus Rashford, aged 18, finished the season as Uniteds No. 1 striker after Wayne Rooney dropped back into midfield and Anthony Martial was preferred as a left winger.United didnt qualify for the coming seasons Champions League. Puma Rihanna Cz .com) - The Chicago Blackhawks aim for their third three-game winning streak of the season when they host the struggling Edmonton Oilers in Sundays battle at the United Center. Puma Boty Rihanna Fenty . Jeff Green scored 13 points and Kris Humphries 12 for the Celtics, who nearly blew an 18-point, second-half lead. But the quarterback hopes to stay involved in football after officially calling it quits Tuesday. "Id love to look at those opportunities as they arise," Pierce said in an interview from his Winnipeg eatery. KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston will have to wait at least another week before making his season debut after the star pass rusher was ruled out for Sundays game at Carolina.Houston had surgery to repair his left ACL in February and was removed from the physically unable to perform list this week. But the Chiefs are being careful with his recovery, and coach Andy Reid decided Friday to give him at least another week of practice to get ready for game action.Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin and defensive lineman Jaye Howard have also been ruled out.Houston was hopeful that he would be allowed to play against the Panthers, even saying Thursday that he was ready to dominate. But the Chiefs would rather have him healthy for the stretch run and potential playoff games rather than rushing him back onto the field. He had a very good week. He looked good, Reid said. There are no setbacks. The Chiefs have struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks this season, so Houstons return has been eagerly anticipated. Kansas City only has 16 sacks through its first eight games, and Dee Ford has nine of those -- meaning he will almost certainly begin seeing double teams soon.Houston would demand the same kind of attention once he gets oon the field. Puma Heart Cz. .Justin has been a mainstay here for a while now, Chiefs defensive coordinator Bob Sutton said, so I think his return would be a real benefit for us in a lot of areas. Obviously from a talent standpoint on the field, hes a really good football player. I think it would have an impact on a lot of guys.Maclin hurt his groin in practice last week and attempted to play last Sunday against Jacksonville, but he aggravated the injury on the Chiefs first offensive series and did not return.Howard has been dealing with a hip injury. Kendall Reyes is expected to fill his place. The Chiefs will have quarterback Alex Smith and running back Spencer Ware back after both missed the game against the Jaguars with head injuries. Smith was inactive for precautionary reasons and Ware had not passed the leagues concussion protocol, but both practiced this week and will be ready for Sunday.Spencer has done well and has not had any repercussions of the concussion, Reid said Friday, and he has had a good week of practice.---For more NFL coverage: http://www.pro32.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
