INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana spent the entire season perfecting its defence. Air Force One Blanche Pas Cher . On Saturday, it produced the biggest payoff for the Pacers in nearly a decade. Roy Hibberts block of Carmelo Anthonys dunk attempt midway through the fourth quarter spurred an 11-2 run that rallied the Pacers to a 106-99 victory in Game 6 of their second-round series, sending them into their first Eastern Conference final since 2004. New York native Lance Stephenson scored nine points in the run, finishing with a playoff career-high 25. "Thats why they pay me the big bucks this summer, so I have to protect the paint," said Hibbert, who signed a $58 million contract last summer. "If all else fails, meaning the offence, I have to protect the paint." With players from both teams standing on the court as the final seconds ticked off and Pacers fans roaring in appreciation, the sellout crowd wasted little time breaking into chants of "Beat The Heat!" For Indiana, it sets up a post-season rematch with the defending NBA champs, the team that eliminated them last May after the Pacers had taken a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven semifinals. The Heat wound up winning Game 4 at Indiana and followed that with two more wins as Danny Granger struggled with a knee injury. Indiana used the lessons from that series as motivation to improve this season and wound up beating the Heat twice at home before losing the third game of the season series at Miami. The Pacers will return to South Florida for Game 1 on Wednesday night. With Granger missing all but five games this season because of the lingering knee injury, the Pacers put an even greater emphasis on playing defence and it showed. Indiana led the league in rebounding, defensive field goal percentage and defensive 3-point percentage while finishing second in points allowed per game during the regular season. It was no different in the playoffs, as the Knicks found out. New York had another subpar shooting night Saturday, making just 40 per cent of its shots, and again wound up on the wrong side of a 43-36 rebounding discrepancy. In the paint, New York was outscored 52-20, and Anthony, who finished with 39 points, scored just four points in the final 12 minutes when he went 2 of 7 from the field. Iman Shumpert added 19 points, hitting five 3-pointers, and J.R. Smith scored 15. Nobody else was in double figures. The combination, as it had been in the previous three losses to Indiana, produced the same frustrating result. "They have a hell of a defence. They hold down the paint. They do a great job, do a hell of a job of controlling the paint, closing it down, making it tough for guys," Anthony said. "Youve got to give them guys credit, especially when they got a chance to set. Roy Hibbert gets to sit in the paint, causes havoc." Its not just that. The biggest question coming into Saturdays game was whether starting point guard George Hill would play. He took part in the teams morning shootaround, was cleared by the team doctors and wound up returning two days after missing Game 5 with a concussion. His return gave the Pacers a big boost. Hill finished with just 12 points on 2-of-10 shooting but had five rebounds and four assists, and kept the Pacers composed enough to commit only nine turnovers -- 10 fewer than Thursday nights loss in New York. The results showed up everywhere on the floor. Paul George had 23 points, five rebounds and four assists. David West added 17 points, five rebounds and four assists, and Hibbert finished with 21 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks, none bigger than the stuff on Anthony that changed the game. Stephenson had 10 rebounds and three assists in his best post-season game ever. The reason: He wanted to avoid a trip home. "I just didnt want to go back to New York and play Game 7," Stephenson said. "Just get it done with now and Id do whatever it takes to do that today. It showed tonight." The New York native made sure of it. After George grabbed the rebound off of Hibberts block, Stephenson took a pass from West and scored on a layup to tie the score at 92 with 4:51 left in the game. Stephenson followed that with a steal and drove in for a layup, drawing a foul and completing a three-point play. After grabbing another rebound and making two more free throws, West tipped in a miss and Stephenson closed the decisive spurt with another layup. Suddenly, the Pacers led 101-94 with 1:53 to go. New York never got another chance to tie the score or take the lead again despite making a far more typical 13 of 30 from 3-point range. "Its tough to go out this way," coach Mike Woodson said. "I didnt make it happen for us and thats whats disappointing." The Pacers have a far different goal now as they get ready to face LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Miami. "Were not satisfied with where were at," coach Frank Vogel said. "We feel like theres no ceiling on this team this year." Notes: New York failed to become the ninth team to rally from a 3-1 deficit. ... Indianapolis 500 pole winner Ed Carpenter made the short trip from the track to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, where he is a regular attendee. ... Colts coach Chuck Pagano also attended the game. ... The Knicks were 18 of 18 from the free throw line. Air Force One Pas Cher Noir . Robinson finished with 17 points, all but two in the second half, and Lawson had 14 after halftime and finished with a game-high 11 assists as the Nuggets handed Dallas its first home loss in eight games this season. J.J. Hickson led Denver with 22, and Kenneth Faried added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Air Max 95 Just Do It Noir Pas Cher . John Tavares, Thomas Vanek and Kyle Okposo were also being counted on to slow down sizzling Rangers forward Rick Nash. That plan didnt go so well early. http://www.nikejustdoitchaussure.fr/ . While hell be dialed in to that tournament on a course he loves, you can forgive him if his eyes glance down the calendar just a bit, towards April.KITZBUEHEL, Austria -- Marcel Granollers won his fourth ATP title after overcoming a disastrous start Saturday, defeating second-seeded Juan Monaco of Argentina 0-6, 7-6 (3), 6-4 in the bet-at-home Cup final. The 53rd-ranked Spaniard won his first title since also beating Monaco two years ago in Valencia, Spain. Becoming the first Spanish winner here since Alex Corretja in 2002, Granollers improved to 4-2 in career finals. "Its a very special feeling to win here," said Granollers, who had failed to go beyond the quarterfinals of an event this season but ended Robin Haases two-year winning run in Kitzbuehel in the semifinals. Monaco was seeking his ninth career title and second of the year, after winning in May in Duesseldorf, Germany. The 31st-ranked Monaco, who won here in 2007, dictated the pace in the opening set with strong forehands from the baseline, sending Granollers from one corner to the other. Monaco broke Granolleers first service game with a winner off the net cord and added two more breaks to take the opening set in 23 minutes. Nike Sb Pas Cher Homme. "I didnt play well at all in the beginning. He was very solid from the start," said Granollers, who won only nine points in the set. "When youre close to winning a title, you get nervous." Granollers saved two more break points early in the second set, helping him to settle, and broke himself at the first opportunity to lead 5-3. "He had chances in the second set as well and I was lucky he couldnt take them," Granollers said. "From then on it became a different match." Granollers had a 4-0 lead in the deciding set. He missed three match points at 5-2 but converted at the fourth chance on Monacos serve when the Argentine sent a backhand volley long. "Marcel deserved to win," Monaco said. "In the end, he just played better than me." Wholeslae Jerseys NFL Jerseys Cheap Wholesale NBA Jerseys Cheap NHL Jerseys Cheap MLB Jerseys Wholesale Soccer Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys Cheap Football Jerseys Cheap Basketball Jerseys Cheap Baseball Jerseys ' ' '

While Australia capitulated at the WACA and then collapsed at Bellerive, both India and England prospered in Rajkot. Warren Moon Titans Jersey .The implications of these scenarios are many and varied. Australia are in distinct trouble against South Africa, and unless this trend is reversed quickly, the selectors face the prospect of wholesale changes for the upcoming series against an improved Pakistan outfit.Australia then face a tough tour of India, a playground where they have recently experienced more recriminations than celebrations, followed by a visit from England next summer. To say the next few weeks are crucial to Australian cricket is akin to saying the world awaits Donald Trumps presidency with bated breath. Most of Australias recent failures have stemmed from poor batting displays, but the inability to keep fast bowlers fit for duty is shaping to be just as big a problem.A short while ago it appeared Australias pace bowling future was bright, with Mitchell Starc, James Pattinson and Pat Cummins all capable of swinging the ball at genuine pace, while Josh Hazlewood and Peter Siddle provided consistently probing spells. In addition, there were other hopefuls with pace and talent at the Shield level who promised adequate back-up in case of the odd injury. Since then there has been a string of injuries as long as the sartorius muscle, which leaves Starc and Hazlewood as the last men standing. Its a bleak picture that provides skipper Steven Smith with a migraine-style headache and the administrators with many questions to answer. When a team has lost four Tests in succession - three of them from virtually impregnable positions - there are bound to be questions about the captains right to retain the job. However, the job of the Australian captain has been made increasingly difficult over the years by some questionable administrative decisions. In 2011, I told the Argus review: I dont think the system allows you to captain Australia properly. There are too many people to tell to get stuffed. At least when I was skipper, you only had to tell the manager to butt out if he wanted to stick his nose into the cricket side of the business. With that said, the Argus review recommended an additional layer of management and even more impediment to good captaincy.Smiths job has been made infinitely harder than mine ever was. At least I was in control of my own destiny, which is a must when all the wins and losses go against your name. Smith doesnt have that luxury and hes also impeded by a development system that is faltering, bordering on total engine failure.Cricket Australia held the Argus review and another one into the safety of the game following the tragic death of Phil Hughes. However, it hasnt addressed the failure of a system that should provide selectors with a production line of successful young batsmen from first-class cricket. The current system has been an abject failure for at least a decade, mainly providing a string of journeymen and ageing debutants, and yet, nothing seems to change.Actually, thats not exactly true. There are more coaches, more theories on how to play spin bowling, and fewer overseas successes. While the failures in India, England and Sri Lanka were treated with an out of sight, out of mind approach by the public, the inability to cope with a weakened South African attack on a reasonable WACA surface has shone a fierce spotlight on Australias batting frailty.India, on the other hand, have a plentiful supply of talented and technically efficient young batsmen. England, who used to eschew selecting youth as though that would inflict a plague on the side, have blooded two young batting hopefuls on the tour of Bangladesh and India.Australia are now at the point where the ageing-debutant policy is a proven failure and they will be forced to choose a few younger batsmen on a speculative basis. With a tour of India and a tough home series against England looming, this is not ideal. It could go one of two ways: either itll be a triumph for youth or cause the pain often felt in seeking longer-term success. Earl Campbell Womens Jersey . CHARLESTON, S. Mike Edwards Youth Jersey .C. -- Darius Hammond carried it 17 times for 153 yards and two touchdowns, and Charleston Southern made four interceptions in a 28-7 victory over Kennesaw State on Saturday for the Buccaneers second straight Big South championship.Charleston Southern took a 21-7 lead with 1:26 left before halftime after a two-play, 80-yard drive. Moeen Ali really isnt the sort to roar for his inclusion in a team or storm into the coachs room demanding explanations. When asked earlier in the tour whether it was an arm ball that had earned a wicket, he answered, Nah, just one that didnt spin. When he found himself praising the number of maidens he had bowled, he added I dont do that very often. When asked to describe his dismissals in Mohali he uses the word crap and when asked whether he and Adil Rashid can replicate the success of Englands spinners in 2012 (when Graeme Swann and Monty Panesar took 19 wickets between them) he responds by laughing out loud. Indeed, when asked whether Rashids improved performance with the ball could put his own position under pressure, he agreed: Its just a matter of time.He is as modest and unassuming as international sportsmen come. He will never have a nickname like The Big Show (even if he does have more international centuries than Glenn Maxwell). So perhaps it is relevant that, very gently, very politely, even a little bit apologetically, he has suggested he might like to have a settled batting position.Moeen has batted everywhere from No. 1 to No. 9 in the Test team. He has opened the batting and the bowling. He has been pushed down the order to accommodate others and then promoted to cover for their failures. He has been asked to thrash for quick runs, block for draws, see off the new ball and shepherd the tail. His versatility is, no doubt, his greatest asset, but it might also be a bit of a curse. It is hardly a surprise that he has looked confused at times.Close in the future, he said, reiterating the point that he is not demanding anything, just expressing an aspiration, Id like to have a position I can try to nail down.Almost immediately, he corrects himself.Obviously, I dont mind. I just get on with it. Whatever they tell me.But then the elaboration hints at his frustration a little more.I was down to bat five from Bangladesh onwards, he said. But form or balance of the side meant I was pushed up to four and then three in the last innings. I dont have a clue where Im batting here yet. Ill probably find out tomorrow.Perhaps the most revealing aspect of the conversation occurs when he is asked if his modesty, his humility, his niceness counts against him at times. He smiles.Probably, yes, he said. Ive been told sometimes thats not a good thing. Once my dad pulled me out of a club game when I was told I was batting seven. He said No, youre not, youre not batting seven.I was about 13 and I made the first team, and they told me I was batting seven. He said, No, youre not playing ... lets go. But since then Ive just got on with it.While the floating role is a frustration, Moeen enjoys the approach of this England side. He appreciates thee encouragement to attack and the lack of consequences when it backfires. Vita Vea Womens Jersey. He enjoyed the opportunity for a few days away from the tour, too - something that would have been unthinkable a few years ago - and admits he never thought about cricket once over three days chilling out in Dubai. He certainly hasnt been beating himself up for the way he was dismissed in Mohali (caught at fine leg and mid-on). He doesnt feel he has to be less attacking, he just has to attack better.I naturally play in quite a positive way anyway, he said. I just need to try to go back to how I batted in the first Test and try to replicate that. Sometimes it can go a bit too positive. We want to be positive, but in the right manner.I felt all right in Mohali. I know it was a crap way to get out, but it was just the execution in both innings. Im not too down about it. In the second innings, I was going to go over the top. I just wanted to send one of the guys back on to the boundary, but I didnt execute it well. His praise for Rashid is as warm as it genuine. Recognising both the contribution of Englands spin consultant, Saqlain Mushtaq, and the benefits of playing more regularly, Moeen even started to make a case for Rashids inclusion ahead of his own.Hes a quality spinner, Moeen said. Hes obviously bowling really well, and Im really happy for him. He deserves it and I think his confidence is going to grow, the more he plays.Saqlain has been brilliant for both of us - the confidence he gives us both - and Adils confidence has definitely grown as a bowler. The three back-to-back games were good for him, because hes got into a rhythm, and now he just comes out, doesnt think about it too much and lands it on a spot pretty much straightaway.Theyve played him quite well, but hes picking up wickets. Hes bowling really, really well. Is he snapping at my heels? Yes. Its just a matter of time, really. For most cricketers such a situation might create some unease. But Moeen, speaking after meeting a group of young female athletes from under-privileged families in his role as an ambassador for the British Asian Trust, has a refreshing sense of perspective over such matters.Pressure to me is people who cant afford food or who are struggling to live, he says. This is just a game of cricket. Ill give it my best shot. But if I dont play well, I dont play well. Theres no point not sleeping at night over it.These under-privileged people... it puts everything in perspective, doesnt it? This is just a game of cricket. You give your best, but thats all you can do. Pressure is to survive in certain areas. Theres more to life than bat and ball. Wholeslae Jerseys NFL Jerseys Cheap Wholesale NBA Jerseys Cheap NHL Jerseys Cheap MLB Jerseys Wholesale Soccer Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys Cheap Football Jerseys Cheap Basketball Jerseys Cheap Baseball Jerseys ' ' '

Talented baseball players draw high-profile comparisons from before theyre even drafted. Nate Davis Womens Jersey . Comparisons function as a useful tool, allowing people to visualize how a player might develop if things break right. Every player, of course, is an individual, but there are only so many player types. It becomes a matter of fitting a profile. And the profile given to Mookie Betts has been that of a younger Andrew McCutchen, who at age 29 has one MVP award under his belt and has finished in the top five in voting four times. This is one of those comparisons that has stuck, like Manny Machado and Alex Rodriguez. Shane Victorino compared Betts to McCutchen back in the middle of 2014. Ken Rosenthal got positive feedback for the comparison early in 2015. And David Price referred to Betts as Andrew McCutchen Jr. early in 2016. Based on his play, his inquisitiveness, his size and his style, Betts has been compared frequently to one of the best outfielders of his era.And the comparisons have been right on. A.J. THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. Elgton Jenkins Packers Jersey . -- Jared Goff is ready to show the Los Angeles Rams he was worth the wait.Goff will make his NFL debut Sunday when the No. 1 pick faces the Miami Dolphins as the Rams starting quarterback.I think its time, Goff said after practice Tuesday. Im ready to move forward and play. Im just going to work hard and hopefully win.Goff watched the first nine games of his rookie season on the sideline for the Rams, who have scored an NFL-worst 15.4 points per game with one of the leagues least productive offenses.Veteran Case Keenum has started every game, passing for 2,169 yards with 11 interceptions and nine TDs.Goff will debut in front of his home fans at the Coliseum, where Rams fans frustrated by a dismal offensive season chanted We want Goff! two weeks ago during a loss to Carolina. Were expecting him to play well and win games for us, so its an exciting time for us, Rams coach Jeff Fisher said. After weeks of increasing scrutiny on the offenses struggles, Fisher finally decided to see what theyve got in Goff. Los Angeles couldnt score a touchdown in last weekends 9-6 victory over the New York Jets, failing to reach the end zone for the third time in nine games.Los Angeles traded several high draft picks to Tennessee in April to move up to draft Goff, hoping to solve years of underperformance at the NFLs most important position. The Rams also traded up to make a splash in their return to Los Angeles after a 21-year sojourn in St. Louis, where they hadnt made the playoffs since 2004 or had a winning record since 2003.But after Goff didnt beat out Keenum for the job in the preseason, Fisher repeatedly declined to promote the rookie over the past two months even while his offense struggled on almost a weekly basis, saying he wanted Goff to be in an ideal position to succeed. Its increasingly clear that the Rams offense doesnt provide an optimal opportunity for any quarterback, but at least Goff will now be learning on the job.It wasnt a spontaneous decision, Fisher said. It was a progression. Its a gut feel. Its not an easy thing. It takes time, and we gave it time, and it was the right decision. Were looking forward to watching him play. ... Hes going to have some moments, like all young quarterbacks do, but hes going to do well. The Rams offense is 31st in the NFL with just 308.0 yards per game. Their passing game is ranked 25th with 225.4 yards per game, increasing in recent weeks because of Los Angeles profound struggles running the ball. The Coliseum crowd has been eager for a change, booing the offense and chanting for the rookie while the Rams struggled through a 13-10 loss to Carolina two weeks ago. Los Angeles couldnt score against the Panthers until midway through the fourth quarter. The Rams then failed to reach the end zone against the Jets, but the defense carried them to their first win since early October.Fisher had finally seen enough on the field -- and from Goff in practice -- to warrant the inevitable change. It feels like a long time since Ive got out there and played, Goff said. Im excited to get back out there. ... I saw a lot of stuff from the sidelines, as much as you can see during games, and learned from a lot of the things Case did, good and bad. Its been a long process, I guess, trying to pick up everything and get ready for it. I think I have, and I think Ive been ready for a little while. I feel good, and I feel excited.Goff, who turned 22 last month, was a three-year starter at California in a spread offense bearing little resemblance to the Rams more pro-style schemes. That additional learning curve persuaded the Rams to be patient, but Keenum has struggled along with the Los Angeles offense, repeatedly failing to make big plays in important situations. The veteran has thrown eight interceptions and five TD passes over the past five games for the Rams, who endured a four-game skid before last weekends win.Goff will get his first shot against the Dolphins, who have the NFLs ninth-ranked passing defense with potent pass-rushers Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake, who have combined for 12 sacks.Goff is the first quarterback chosen with the top pick who didnt start his teams opener since JaMarcus Russell in 2007. Since then, Matt Stafford, Sam Bradford, Cam Newton, Andrew Luck and Jameis Winston had all started their teams first games.---For more NFL coverage: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Reggie White Packers Jersey . -- Matt Rupert scored once in regulation and again in the shootout as the London Knights extended their win streak to nine games by defeating the Owen Sound Attack 4-3 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action. Elgton Jenkins Womens Jersey . This should be celebrated because it will not always be this way. With the amount of money given to players by their clubs these days, it is a wonder that so many of those teams allow the sport to continue to take away many of their assets so they can play for a different team in the middle of their season. http://www.shoptheofficialpackers.com/Elite-Jace-Sternberger-Packers-Jersey/ . Just as Montreal was settling into the first full working week of a new year, the Impact announced the appointment of their new head coach. The AFL industry is bunkering down ahead of what is shaping to be the most active player exchange period ever. Each club will be doing everything it can to improve its list for 2017, with more names than ever being thrown around as potential trade targets.ESPN has attempted to read the mind of each clubs list manager to select the most important transaction leading into the leagues annual silly season.ADELAIDE - Find an A-grade midfielder? The Crows were one of the leagues most exciting teams this year but their lack of midfield class proved telling at the business end of the season. ESPN has reported Adelaide are pondering chasing either Brisbanes Tom Rockliff or Carltons Bryce Gibbs, while the Crows may look to secure one of GWS excess mids such as Will Hoskin-Elliott or Jack Steele.BRISBANE - Work out your long-term strategy? The first point of of order for new Lions coach Chris Fagan is to work out whether to strip things back completely for a long-term rebuild, or attempt to steady the ship and get it sailing towards smoother waters ASAP. If its the former, then captain Tom Rockliff and speedster Pearce Hanley - both reportedly open to trades - should be moved on for first-round draft picks. If its the latter, the Lions must retain both and look to bolster all areas of their list.CARLTON - Repeat last years movesCarlton went hard in securing depth through a series of trades with GWS and Adelaide last year, picking up Sam Kerridge, Andrew Phillips, Lachie Plowman and Liam Sumner, as well as picks 8 and 11. That strategy worked in two ways - stemming the bleeding from an awful 2015 season and injecting talent into the clubs dire list. The Blues should look to do the same this offseason, with GWS trio Caleb Marchbank, James Stewart and Jack Steele primary targets. Carlton could also do their best to swoop on Sydney midfielder Tom Mitchell, if the Swans and Hawks fail to secure his signature.COLLINGWOOD - Sign quality ball usersFor too long, the Magpies have struggled with sub-par disposal, particularly through the back half and midfield, which is why they are possibly hunting the likes of Daniel Wells (North Melbourne) and Will Hoskin-Elliott (GWS). The Pies need to ensure whoever they bring in can add polish to their workmanlike midfield and defence. Collingwood gave up plenty to secure Adam Treloar and James Aish last season, so they must be crafty with their trades and drafting this year.ESSENDON - Trade pick No. 1?The first pick of the draft hasnt been traded since Fremantle in 2001 but the Bombers should be bold and offer the prized selection to the best offer. GWS are reportedly desperate to get their hands on the top choice and the Dons should push hard for a deal involving the Giants picks 7 plus their other first-round selections in 15 or 16, and/or a quality young player. This years draft is reported to be one of the most even in recent history, so if the Dons can get pick No. 7, plus Jack Steele for example, for the first pick, they could net two high-quality young guns for the price of one.FREMANTLE - Find a key forward. Or twoThe Dockers were lusting after Melbournes Jesse Hogan and emerging Giant Rory Lobb and their hearts were crushed within a couple of hours earlier this week when both young guns re-signed. With Matthew Pavlich finally hanging up the boots, Freo must do everything they can to find key forward options. One will likely be wantaway Giant Cam McCarthy, but he is a risk having not played at any level this year. The Dockers are reportedly interested in Geelongs Shane Kersten and North Melbournes Aaron Black and theyd be silly not to take a chance on one of those two.GEELONG - Trade Steven MotlopThe enigmatic forward epitomises frustration - he can make the impossible seem easy but too often doesnt do the simple things needed to impact games. He is reportedly on a $600,000 contract and the Cats would be smart to offload him elsewhere to free up salary cap room to chase other targets. Too much was left to Dangerwood last year, meaning Geelong should aim to find support for the star midfield duo. They are reportedly interested in Richmonds Brett Deledio, but could also consider Brisbanes Tom Rockliff. The Cats loaded up for a flag shot this year before falling short, and must reload again before its too late.GOLD COAST - Play hard on Prestia and OMeara, and nail their premium draft picksThe Suns must get the best deal they can get for Dion Prestia and Jaeger OMeara, who want to join Richmond and Hawthorn respectively. Both trades have a long way to go - with ESPN reporting Hawthorn may offer up exciting forward James Sicily as part of the OMeara deal - but the Suns should be sitting pretty at this years draft once the dust settled. Theyre already holding picks No. 4, 8, 21, 22, 24 and 27, and with more top-end selections likely to come their way, they must attack the draft as hard as they can - but this time, they must nail their choices.GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY - Load up on future picks? The Giants list is bursting at the seams with talent, meaning theyre well placed to be well compensated if, as expected, several promising players - including Will Hoskin-Elliott, Caleb Marchbank, James Stewart, Jack Steele and Cam McCarthy - walk. GWS will use most of their draft choices this year on a bumper crop of Academy kids (including possible first-round talents Harry Perryman, Will Setterfield and Kobe Mutch) and with the production line set to flow again next year, trading for future picks would be the smart move.HAWTHORN - Find contested-ball winners (even though Clarko doesnt give a toss)The Hawks were smashed in contested footy this year and while their coach Alastair Clarkson famously said he didnt give a toss about that statistic, its an area of glaring weakness ffor the former champs. Clay Matthews Youth Jersey. Hawthorn are in the box seat to secure Jaeger OMeara from the Suns and Tom Mitchell from the Swans, which would almost solve the problem in one foul swoop (assuming OMearas injury woes are behind him). The Hawks have every right to aggressively push for another flag this season before their handful of champion veterans finally pull the pin.MELBOURNE?- Find a back-up for big MaxyMax Gawn was one of the revelations of 2016, pretty much singlehandedly carrying the Dees ruck division. But with journeyman Jake Spencer Gawns only real back-up, the Demons are on the hunt for another ruck option, preferably one with forward nous. Geelongs Nathan Vardy could be an option, or Melbourne may look to the state leagues for a tall prospect with upside. The Demons are already one of the winners this offseason after extending Jesse Hogans contract to the end of 2019. They dont have a first-round pick this year, but their trade for Essendons Michael Hibberd (in exchange for pick No. 26) could be one of the first struck on Monday, meaning the Dees could be one of the leagues quietest teams during the exchange period.NORTH MELBOURNE - Draft, draft and draft some more The Kangaroos have already signalled their intentions of a dramatic rebuild, having cut Brent Harvey, Drew Petrie, Nick Dal Santo and Michael Firrito. Fellow veteran Daniel Wells is also a possible departee, possibly netting the Roos an end-of-first round compensation pick. Fringe key forward Aaron Black is also likely to seek greener pastures. Having topped up to challenge for a flag, North should now use this opportunity to attack the draft as hard as they can in the search for young talent. The Kangaroos have an excellent core of inside midfielders, but will be after outside polish at the draft.PORT ADELAIDE - Let Matthew Lobbe walkLobbe almost departed Alberton last offseason, but the ruckman was retained and struggled for senior opportunities. With Paddy Ryder set to return next season after his 12-month ban ended, Lobbe will be further on the outer come 2017. The Powers salary cap is reportedly tight - hence the club putting Hamish Hartlett up for trade at the right price - so the club should look to accommodate Lobbes request for a new home. They wont receive as much in return as what was on offer this time 12 months ago, but it will clear Lobbes sizeable salary off the books and allow the Power to fix other areas of their list.RICHMOND - Get the Prestia deal done earlyThe Tigers have pick No. 6. The Suns have Dion Prestia. Simples. While Richmond may want to haggle over Prestias worth, pick No. 6 is just about spot on for a midfielder of Prestias quality and relative youth. If Damien Hardwick still believes he has a finals-quality list at his disposal despite the horror 2016, the Tigers should sign off on the Prestia deal early next week and then assess other ways to bolster their squad. As theyve signalled their intentions to challenge next year, not rebuild, Richmond should also fight to retain the services of Brett Deledio.ST KILDA - Grab Jack SteeleThe Saints were one of the best stories of this year, only just missing out on a finals berth on percentage. With quality across all lines, the Saints will unlikely break the bank for a big-name signing, but theyre chasing fringe GWS midfielder Steele, who could be a 10-year addition in their centre square rotation. Steele is a big-bodied midfielder who can also be a threat forward, with strong contested marking ability. His addition will add an exciting element to St Kildas already promising midfield.SYDNEY - Reconsider the Tom Mitchell contract Mitchell was one of the Swans best through the season, and indeed finals series, and Sydney have to do everything they can to keep him. Theyll need to increase their contract offer significantly if they are to prevent him from moving south - most likely to Hawthorn - which may mean they offload others. Gary Rohan could be one option, after a second successive average grand final performance, and his pace and potential could be attractive to rival clubs. Or could the Swans put Kurt Tippett on the table? The Swans may be loathe to lose the forward/ruck after his solid season (albeit he was ineffective in the grand final) but Tippett is on a hefty contract so if he was offloaded, the Swans could have the cash to splash on Mitchell.WEST COAST - Let Eric Mackenzie find a new homeLast season, Mackenzie looked a shell of the player who won the Eagles best and fairest in 2014. The key defender spent time in the WAFL this year and looked bereft of confidence but at 28, theres enough time for him to shine in a new home. The late-season form of Rising Star nominee Tom Barrass means West Coast have already got a permanent replacement for the veteran defender. The Eagles should receive a solid draft pick or player depending on which club wants to trade for Mackenzie, meaning they can focus their efforts in bolstering the lack of depth through the midfield.WESTERN BULLDOGS - Sit back and enjoy the premiership glow, but then try to re-sign Lin JongJong is weighing up his options after a tumultuous season in red, white and blue, but the Bulldogs could regret it if he joins a rival such as Gold Coast or Collingwood. The big-bodied midfielder, who plays with impressive hardness, played 16 senior matches this year, averaging 17 disposals, 4.4 tackles, and almost a goal a game. In the Dogs VFL premiership, Jong was named best on ground and looked a class above that level. Theyd be better off letting other fringe players walk instead of Jong, who could become an excellent second-rotation midfielder. Wholeslae Jerseys NFL Jerseys Cheap Wholesale NBA Jerseys Cheap NHL Jerseys Cheap MLB Jerseys Wholesale Soccer Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys Cheap Football Jerseys Cheap Basketball Jerseys Cheap Baseball Jerseys ' ' '

Though Youngstown State continues to move up in the STATS FCS Top 25, Bo Pelini isnt exactly pleased with how his Penguins have performed during their fifth consecutive 3-1 start. Cheap Hydro Flask .The second-year coach made that perfectly clear after Youngstown State committed four turnovers and had to hold on late in last weekends 30-20 home win over South Dakota. In the wake of that victory, the Penguins jumped from 20th to 15th in the poll.I expect more, Pelini said. There were some guys who absolutely played their tails off, but you need 11 on every snap. Its as simple as that and if youre not getting it, youre not going to be the type of football team you want to be.Pelini is hoping to see crisper execution as his squad goes after a third straight victory Saturday at No. 23 Illinois State. The Redbirds (2-3, 0-2 Missouri Valley Football Conference) are looking to avoid their first four-game losing streak since 2004 as they havent won since a 9-7 victory at Northwestern on Sept. 10, but theyve taken five straight home meetings in this series. They should have some extra incentive to get back on track in this matchup with a large homecoming crowd expected in Normal.Theres no finger pointing going on right now, so I really have to complaints about how theyre preparing. Its just execution in critical parts of games, said Redbirds coach Brock Spack. We have some young or inexperienced players at critical positions and theyre learning. Were going through growing pains right now.Spack seems most concerned with a Youngstown State rushing attack that easily paces the MVFC with 262.8 yards per game. Martin Ruiz ranks first with six rushing touchdowns and second with 367 yards, while Tevin McCaster has 242 yards and two scores.Ruiz finished with 84 yards on 18 carries and also caught a 13-yard touchdown pass with 32 seconds left before the Penguins two-point try failed in a 31-29 home loss to the Redbirds last October.Junior Ricky Davis provides Youngstown State (3-1, 1-0) with a dual-threat at quarterback. Hes thrown for 657 yards with four touchdowns and rushed for 202 yards. Though he threw his first two interceptions of the season last Saturday, Davis set career highs with 281 passing yards and 21 rushing attempts against the Coyotes.Illinois State may lead the conference in pass defense with 183.8 yards allowed per game, but its secondary gave up some big plays in last weekends 31-10 loss at top-ranked North Dakota State. The Redbirds also have given up 402 rushing yards and yielded 65 points over their last two games.I expect that were going to get their best shot, said Pelini, who admits this will be his teams toughest test since a 38-21 loss to West Virginia. Im not worried about Illinois State. Im worried about us, getting us right and increasing our level or execution.Star defensive end Derek Rivers has done his part, sitting in a tie for third in the league with four sacks. Avery Moss also has tormented quarterbacks with three sacks for the Penguins, who rank second in total defense with 300.8 yards allowed per game. The Redbirds, eighth in rushing offense, would certainly like to run the ball better to help neutralize Rivers and Moss, but leading rusher George Moreira (287 yards, 3 TDs) could be out for the season due to a broken collarbone. Those duties could fall to second-leading rusher Jamal Towns, though Spack hinted that true freshman James Robinson also might be given an opportunity.---AROUND THE MVFC=The only matchup between league unbeatens takes place Saturday when Missouri State (3-1, 1-0) hosts No. 1 North Dakota State (4-0, 1-0). The Bears, coming off their first victory over a ranked foe since 2013, will try to end the Bisons 13-game winning streak.Quarterback Aaron Bailey, who had four touchdowns in a 42-21 win over Southern Illinois last weekend, looks to lead No. 11 Northern Iowa (2-2, 1-0) to its first 2-0 league start since 2011 on Saturday when the Panthers travel to South Dakota (1-3, 0-1).No. 13 Western Illinois (3-1, 0-1) hopes to bounce back from its first loss, a 52-14 beating at South Dakota State, on Saturday when it welcomes Indiana State (3-2, 1-1) to Macomb. The Leathernecks have won the last three meetings.No. 12 South Dakota State (2-2, 1-0), which is averaging a league-best 45 points, will try to keep putting up big numbers Saturday night when it visits Southern Illinois (2-2, 0-1). The Salukis allowed 42 in a 21-point loss at Northern Iowa last week. Swell Black Friday . Marincin has played in two NHL games so far this season with two penalty minutes. OAKLAND, Calif. Jahlani Tavai Youth Jersey . -- Slow at the start of the series and strong at the end, the San Antonio Spurs wore out the Golden State Warriors the way they have so many other opponents. Tim Duncan had 19 points and six rebounds, Kawhi Leonard added 16 points and 10 rebounds and the Spurs held off a furious final rally to beat the Warriors 94-82 in Game 6 on Thursday night and advance to the Western Conference finals. "Theyve got great character. Theyre competitive. They know theres not a million chances to do this sort of thing. They wanted it," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. Tony Parker shook off a poor start to score 10 of his 13 points in the fourth quarter and Tiago Splitter added a career-playoff high 14 points for San Antonio, which had a 13-point lead in the third quarter dissolve to two in the final minutes. Stephen Curry shot 10 of 25 from the floor to score 22 points on a nagging left ankle, and Jarrett Jack had 15 points as the injury-saddled Warriors finally tired. The Spurs outshot Golden State 45 per cent to 39 per cent and outrebounded them 46 to 40. Second-seeded San Antonio will open the conference finals at home against Memphis on Sunday. The fifth-seeded Grizzlies eliminated Oklahoma City in five games. The Spurs lost to the Thunder in the conference finals in six games last season after going ahead 2-0. They havent been to the NBA Finals since 2007, when they won their fourth title with a sweep of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Spurs became the first team to win consecutive games in the series and hand the Warriors consecutive losses in the playoffs -- and they did it at just the right time. The Spurs quieted a standing-room-only crowd late in the third quarter and seemingly seized control for good. Instead, the Warriors roared back. Klay Thompson, who had 10 points on 4-for-12 shooting, made a 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter that sliced San Antonios lead to three. Then Currys pull-up jumper brought the Warriors within 77-75 with 4:52 to play. Parker was 1 for 13 before hitting a corner 3-pointer before Leonard followed with two free throws to put the Spurs up seven. Jack made a jumper and two free throws to bring the Warriors back again. Then Leonard hit another corner 3-pointer for the Spurs to go ahead 85-79. Curry and Thompson each had consecutive 3s rim out on the same possession that couldve kept Golden State close. But Parker hit another 3-pointer to put San Antonio up 88-79 with 1:15 remaining and send some of the yellow-shirted crowd of 19,596 heading to the exits. In the end, most still stuck around. Fans serenaded the home team with chants of "Warr-i-ors!" in the final seconds. Curry also grabbed the microphone after the game and thanked fans at half court, breaking the huddle with the crowd, "Just us!" The Warriors had only made the playoffs once since 1994 before this season and hadnt won two games after the first round since 1977. "Its inspiring to think of what we were able to accomplish this year and the foundation that has been laid," Warriors coach Mark Jackson said. The Spurs showed incredible ball movement and had the Warriors playing from behind most of the way. San Antonios first 10 field goals came on an assist, going ahead by 10 points in the second quarter and maintaining that cushion until late. Golden State stayed close despite more injury setbacks in a season full of them. Andrew Bogut walked gingerly to the locker room with 8:31 remaining in the second quarter to get his troublesome left ankle re-tapped. Upstart rookie Harrison Barnes fell awkwardly while leaping to contest a layup in the second quarter from Boris Diaw. Barnes hit the court hard and his teammates immediately called for the training staff to attend to him as the arena fell silent. He received six stitches above his right eye at halftime and ran on the court late to start the third quarter, bringing fans to their feet roaring once more. At least for a moment. Barnes left the game in the fourth quarter because of a headache, the team said. He finished with nine points and four rebounds in 31 minutes. The steady Spurs kept making the Warriors work for every shot and grinding out points on the other end. San Antonio took a 61-48 lead late in the third quarter before Golden State started its final surge. The Spurs made sure it wasnt enough. NOTES: NBA Commissioner David Stern, Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson and prospective Kings owner Vivek Ranadive attended the game. ... The Spurs are 10-1 in closeout games since the start of the 2007 playoffs. ... Parkers worst shooting performance in the playoffs with more than five shot attempts came when he was 1 of 12 against New Jersey in the 2003 NBA Finals won by the Spurs. ...
