2022 Zero Motorcycles lineup offers more range

For quite a while now, Zero has been the biggest name in electric motorcycles. The company started before most of its competitors and has held on longer. It's become as close to a household name in the electric motorcycle world as any company is likely to get. The bikes it offers -- SR, SR/F and SR/S -- are compelling in their performance and styling. And now, according to an announcement made by Zero on Thursday, their range is about to get extra compelling, too.To get more news about zeroemissions, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.

The most significant part of Zero's 2022 model announcement is the introduction of battery capacities up to 21 kilowatt-hours. This is possible thanks to a change in its battery-pack design and architecture, which it calls Z-Force. That big chunk of energy storage is good for a reasonably staggering 227 miles of range in the city and 113 on the highway at 70 mph. For comparison's sake, the Livewire One in my garage right now offers a maximum range of 146 miles in the city and around 90 miles on the highway.

But that's not all. Zero is also offering a service called the Cypher Store, which allows owners to upgrade their motorcycle through purchases via the Zero app. Some of the features you can enable through the Cypher Store include faster charging, extended range, a performance boost or even heated grips. Of course, I think most of this should just simply be included on a bike as expensive as the Zero.

The other significant change -- and this is a good one -- is the complete redesign of the base model Zero SR, which now packs 74 horsepower and 122 pound-feet of torque. Previous versions of this felt sort of e-bike-like rather than motorcycle-like, and that always put me off. The new version takes a bunch of the styling cues and some of the components from its bigger and more expensive SR/F and SR/S siblings, but offers a more palatable base price of $17,995. Of course, if you want that class-leading range, you're going to have to spend more than that -- nearly $21,000, in fact.

Electric motorcycles

Electric motorcycles are the next big thing. The market is currently dominated by cheap scooter imports from China, but boutique electric motorcycle companies such as Zero and Brammo are making better-quality products. They are about to be challenged by the established motorcycle companies such as BMW, Harley-Davidson, Victory, Yamaha and KTM. We bring you the latest developments in battery technology, government subsidies and other news about electric motorcycles. We have also ridden several electric motorcycles and review them for performance, handling, range, comfort and styling. To get more news about ev, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.

The SOL Pocket Rocket is a piece of machinery you’re probably unfamiliar with. Designed and manufactured by Speed Of Light (SOL) Motors in Germany, the little e-bike was first unveiled 3 years ago, in October 2018. There’s been little news of the model since, but RideApart has now reported that the company has started accepting pre-orders.

The Pocket Rocket, as its name suggests, is a puny little e-bike that one might even mistake for a bicycle. Measuring 67.7 inches long, 28.7 inches wide, and 46.4 inches tall, the Pocket Rocket is a compact machine. It employs a lightweight aluminum frame with 16-inch wheels at either end and weighs a total of just 55kg (121lbs). It’s got a minimalistic design, and the removable battery, controls, rear and front headlights are seamlessly integrated into the frame.
The Pocket Rocket is available in a standard model and one that wears an ‘S’ suffix. Interestingly, both variants share the exact dimensions and hardware, except the motor. While the standard model gets a 5kW unit that can propel the bike to 45kph (28mph), the Pocket Rocket S features a 6.5kW motor that can get you up to a claimed 80kph (50mph). Both variants use a hub-mounted motor powered by the same 58V, 2.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The claimed range for both variants is the same at 50-80km (31-50 miles). Considering the speed, weight, and range of the Pocket Rocket, it’ll make for the perfect ride to get around town.

Pre-orders for the SOL Pocket Rocket have started at €500 (around $590.) However, prices for the standard model are starting at €5,980 ($7,056), making this a relatively expensive product. Pre-bookings are open in select European countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

This 70mph Electric Motorcycle Kollter Can Be Yours For Less Than $6k

Kollter launched their E-SUM at the Milan show in Italy late in 2017 and began selling the first of their bikes in December of that year around the world. To get more news about davincidynamic, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.

A relative newcomer to the American market, the company now offers the ES1, which joins the Sondors Metacycle as an EV motorcycle capable of reaching highway speeds at a reasonable price. So while you can’t yet buy a Sondors, you can buy a Kollter right now.

The appeal is that for your $5,990, you get a capable commuting machine - at around half the price of the cheapest Zero offering the FXS ($9,495).

This bike includes onboard storage for two removable 2.3 kWh batteries, but you only get one for the entry priced bike. However, you can get a second pack for another $990.

The batteries power a 15 hp electric motor, and that motor moves the Kollter ES1 to a top speed of 72 mph (115 kph), and there’s also an off-road model or a ‘performance’ model, which offers an additional boost to 16 hp. Kollter says the bikes have a range of up to 85 miles (137 km) in city driving or 37 miles (60 km) in highway driving conditions.

One interesting factor is that there is no onboard charger and not enough onboard storage to carry a second battery.

While Kollter’s U.S. marketing site says, the bikes feature ‘German design,’ variations of this bike are also marketed as a Tinbot. But Jiangsu Keyroad Transportation Technology Co. actually launched the bikes in China.

Max Biaggi Shatters EV Motorcycle Speed Record With 283 MPH Run

Last week, legendary MotoGP rider Max Biaggi hopped on a modified Venturi Voxan Wattman electric motorcycle and took a top-secret ride down a decommissioned NASA runway in Florida—the same one where the Space Shuttle used to land. In the process, he broke 18 land-speed records for electric motorcycles, including top speed, averaging 283 mph over two runs, one in each direction. With that, Biaggi broke his own electric motorcycle speed record, set just last year, when he took a previous version of the Wattman to 253 mph.To get more news about DC100, you can visit davincimotor.com official website.

"I saw that it started to be realistic, what Voxan was saying—that they could build the bike better to break the record," Biaggi told Road & Track in a one-on-one interview at the Classic Car Club Manhattan, where the electric motorcycle maker hosted a party to announce the new top-speed record. "After that, it was all processed by testing and R&D until we could achieve the results."

The Wattman was upgraded with a host of go-fast componentry. A more potent and lighter battery was installed. The motor was juiced to produce 435 hp. The double-wishbone suspension was adjusted for better precision. And perhaps most importantly, the bike was draped in a carefully developed aerodynamic fairing that resembles one half of a VW XL1. Not that it did much for noise mitigation.

"It’s very different from when I used to ride noisy bikes, with a thermal engine. Because electric motors make just the little zzzzzzttttt," Biaggi said. "But at speed, the wind creates a really big noise. You feel like an airplane taking off. When you break the wall of the air, you make some noise." Here, Biaggi is referring to the subsonic wind pressure, at around .3 Mach (roughly 230 mph), when the air surrounding a vehicle becomes very difficult to compress. The sensation is like driving into, and then through, a wall.

Reaching these speeds inside the protective cocoon of an automobile has reduced some drivers to tears, or vow never to do it again. So what's it like on a bike? "It’s all about power, stability, and aerodynamics," Biaggi said. "You have so much turbulence. You think you can hold. But you can’t. You can’t even see well at this speed. You just try to focus on what is around you. You don’t look anymore at what is straight ahead. You need to look wider. It’s crazy."

Having beaten his own record, what could be next for Biaggi? "Who knows? It’s a good question. Gildo—the president of Venturi, who makes this happen—he is not a dreamer. He’s a pioneer. If he thinks of something... after a few months or a few years, it starts to become reality," he said. "If something really teases me, and gives me the right adrenaline, I’ll accept."

Amazon Is Allowing Everyone to Play New World for Free on Sept. 9

Amazon Games has decided to run an open beta for its forthcoming New World massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, which means that early next month anyone can play the game to see if they enjoy it.To get more news about safe new world gold, you can visit spieltimes.com official website.

Earlier this month, Amazon decided to delay the release of New World by four weeks, pushing the launch back to Sept. 28. However, the closed beta was a huge success with over a million players trying out the MMO and logging over 16 million hours in the process. That success did result in server issues and over-population problems, so not everyone got to experience the game properly.
The open beta will give prospective players one last chance to sample the game, but Amazon is also using it as an opportunity to test Steam's new Playtest feature. If you have a Steam account, it means you can request access to the open beta for free. Amazon is making servers available in North America, Europe, Australia, and South America. And as it's Steam, downloading and installing the game will happen automatically once you've been accepted into the beta.

The open beta begins at 7 a.m. PT on Sept. 9 and runs until 11:59 a.m. PT on Sept. 16. However, anyone interested in playing will be able to request access through Steam beginning at 7 a.m. PT on Sept. 8. Available languages include English, French, German, Italian, Spanish (Spain & LATAM), Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

If you are unable to play, Amazon is allowing gameplay to be broadcast during the beta so you'll still be able to experience the world through the Twitch and YouTube accounts of various streamers. Amazon is also promising there will be a higher server capacity to try and avoid the problems encountered in the closed beta.

Amazon’s ‘New World’ game spreads hype

Amazon’s massively multiplayer online RPG New World has attracted a big audience so far with its closed beta, which has analysts wondering if it might be the breakout game for Amazon Game Studios. To get more news about safe new world gold, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

New World, scheduled for a full release on Aug. 31, puts players in the role of explorers who’ve ended up stranded on the magic-riddled island of Aeternum. So far, it seems to split the difference between action games and the traditional MMORPG formula, with fast-paced real-time combat.

Update: Amazon announced Aug. 4 that the New World release was being delayed until Sept. 28, saying the development team needed a few extra weeks to “smash bugs, improve stability and polish the game.”Amazon’s developers, who primarily work out of the company’s self-titled Orange County studio, started New World‘s most recent closed beta test on July 20, which is planned to run until 11:59 p.m. PT on Aug. 2.

That closed beta hit a surprise peak of just over 200,000 simultaneous players on Steam on July 25, and has maintained a steady population of over 150,000 players since its debut. Players were able to gain access to the closed beta by signing up to be a tester, or by receiving beta access as a perk for pre-ordering the game through Amazon’s website.

By way of comparison, having 200,000 players made New World the sixth most popular game on Steam on July 25, only beaten out by perennial server hogs like Rainbow Six: Siege and Team Fortress 2. It’s too early to say whether this means the game is a hit, but it’s an encouraging early sign for Amazon.

So far, the general player opinion of New World seems to be positive, but it’s also been hampered by a unique sort of disaster. Testers on the game’s closed beta reported last week that running New World can “brick” high-end video cards like the GeForce RTX 3090.The issue appears to have been a now-patched glitch in the game’s beta client, where New World’s in-game menus were rendered without a hard cap on their maximum frame rate. PCs with the capacity to do so would proceed to try to render those menus with as many FPS as possible, and would eventually burn themselves out in the process.

At least one company, EVGA, has since announced that it will replace the video cards of any customers who had them fail while playing New World.

Amazon’s efforts to create original video games have largely been unsuccessful to date, but new CEO Andy Jassy pledged earlier this year to stick with the company’s efforts in the space.

In the last two years, Amazon opted to discontinue its “hero shooter” Crucible after a troubled launch period, and quietly canceled a Lord of the Rings MMO in April. New World, should it succeed, would be a sea change for the company’s video game efforts to date.

World Of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic Launches

Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic launches on June 1 at 3PM PT / 6 PM ET (June 2 at 12 AM CEST), but there's an important decision to make before that.To get more news about Buy WoW WLK Gold, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

On the official World of Warcraft site, Blizzard outlines the choice players must make prior to the expansion's launch. On May 18, a pre-expansion patch will drop, setting the groundwork for how players move to Burning Crusade Classic. Through the Character Clone feature, players can choose to go straight to the expansion or stay on vanilla WoW Classic servers that remain at Shadow of the Necropolis patch 1.13.6. Characters created before the launch of Burning Crusade Classic will automatically be cloned to their respective Classic era realm. Players can pay a fee to activate their created character on both realms.
The release date isn't surprising. A pop-up posted to the ClassicWow subreddit revealed that Burning Crusade Classic was targeting a June 1 global debut. Even the expansion was leaked by Blizzard itself ahead of its official reveal; the company published a press release containing information planned for BlizzConline.

The Burning Crusade is World of Warcraft's first expansion that launched in 2007. While Blizzard has been steadily updating World of Warcraft with new features, the company has been catering to its retro audience through the Classic realm that now will take players through The Dark Portal. Players will be able to choose between playing as a Blood Elf or Draenei in Burning Crusade Classic, with content releasing in phases.

WoW Burning Crusade Classic Cloning Fee After Player Outcry

World of Warcraft Classic's upcoming character cloning service will have prices reduced following a player outcry. The price to copy an individual character so it can be played on both WoW Classic Era realms and upcoming Burning Crusade Classic realms will now be $15, down from the original announcement of $35 that Blizzard had previously made.To get more news about buy world warcraft items, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

All existing WoW Classic realms will be automatically converted to the game's Burning Crusade expansion with the arrival of the Burning Crusade pre-patch on May 18. On that day, players will have to choose on a per character basis whether to play on Burning Crusade servers or to transfer to Classic Era realms which won't progress to the game's next expansion. Cloning a character for the associated fee allows that character to be played in both versions of the game.In a post on the official WoW Classic forums, Blizzard outlined their original reasoning for the $35 fee. "This service--providing a player with a second copy of a character in a different game--is new for us," the post reads. "Our original concept of the value of this service was largely based on how we price other optional items and services. We want players who choose Classic Era realms to feel as though their choice comes with the possibility that they'll be able to build relationships and guilds with other players they can count on.

However, over the last week or so, we've gotten a very large amount of feedback from the community, and we've decided to lower the price. A lower price will likely still accomplish our goals with the new service, while allowing many more players to explore the option of playing characters on both Classic Era and Burning Crusade Classic realms."

The move comes after sustained player outrage over the $35 price tag. As many players pointed out, $35 is only $5 short of the price of WoW's entire latest expansion, Shadowlands. Many WoW Classic players have spent thousands of hours playing their characters, and while many will want to move forward into Burning Crusade Classic without looking back, there are plenty of others who would like to keep a foot in the door of the original version of WoW Classic should they ever want to return to it. For those players in particular, it felt as if Blizzard was holding their characters hostage for a $35 ransom.

While cutting the cloning fee by more than half certainly relieves a pain point many players had with Blizzard's recent Burning Crusade Classic announcements, the game's shorter than usual pre-patch and controversial new microtransactions still have many in the game's community unhappy ahead of Burning Crusade Classic's June 1 release date.
