Why do you need fingerprint door lock?

How often do you see someone forget or, worst case scenario, lose his office keys, while everyone is waiting for him to unlock the door? Not to mention the fact that it will cost and exorbitant amount to have a professional locksmith unlock the door and have the door lock replaced. Fingerprint door locks are the solution. To get more news about best fingerprint door lock for home, you can visit securamsys.com official website.

Imagine using a unique your thumb print to effortlessly identify and verify that you are who you claim to be. That is the power of Biometrics Technology today! If you and your family don't want to ever worry about keys again a fingerprint door lock is a key solution to your problem.

Fingerprint lock have gained tremendous benefits compared to conventional key door locks, combination door locks, keyless keypad lock or card reader door locks. Thus, thumbprint door locks surpass security protection, convenience, and speed.

Fingerprint door lock incorporates the proven technology. Fingerprint reader scanning is the most mature and tested type of biometric technology. Recent studies on biometrics have shown that compared to the hand method, fingerprint is more accurate and cost-effective. The duplication of biometric fingerprint technology is virtually impossible, only one in one billionth of a chance. Biometric security guarantees a positive method of user identification with something that cannot be lost, replicated or stolen.

How does the fingerprint reader work? An authorized person has their fingerprint physical characteristic scanned and turned into a numerical algorithm which is then entered into a database. The authorized person must subsequently provide that same fingerprint physical characteristic- for example, their fingerprint ,to be read and recognized by the fingerprint reader before access is granted.

We carry a line of high quality fingerprint latch lock, deadbolt, latch with deadbolt, audit trail and IP network locks for residential home and commercial office. Ekoo is where you can buy high quality fingerprint door lock at an lowest price.
Popular biometric systems in use today include iris recognition, voice recognition, and fingerprint recognition systems. Iris recognition is extremely accurate but expensive to implement, and scanning the human eye is a sensitive issue that many find alarming. A typical voice recognition system is much less expensive but often exhibits unacceptably high FRR stemming from illness, hoarseness, or other throat problems. Fingerprint recognition is generally considered the most practical choice for its reliability, non-intrusive interfaces, and cost-effectiveness. The uniqueness of a fingerprint can be determined by this pattern of ridges and furrows. The fingerprint scanner captures an image of the fingerprint and uses complex fingerprint identification algorithms to either convert the image into a unique "map" of minutiae points or analyze the pattern. Minutiae points are local ridge characteristics that occur at either a ridge bifurcation (split) or a ridge ending. This technique reads specific fingerprint 'ridge' characteristics and assigns an x/y coordinate. Only the data containing the location of the points of minutiae is stored in the template, not the actual fingerprint image. This eliminates privacy concerns and helps prevent fraud as a fingerprint cannot be recreated from the stored template.
Fingerprint Door Locks
Imagine this. You get home from shopping and you have groceries in hand when you reach your door. Instead of using a key to let yourself in, you simply put your thumb on the scanner and your door pops open. Sure, it makes your life easier, but that isn't even the most important effect of fingerprint door locks. With a fingerprint door lock, you have an ultra-modern looking doorknob that will remind you of a government agency every time you step through the door. Instead of a mundane living room, or a boring mud room, you might be stepping in to a top secret laboratory! These door knobs offer a lot of extra functionality while making you look really cool at the same time.
Benefits
These cool home gadgets have many benefits, besides home protection. Say you have to get a house sitter for a week. If it isn't someone you want to have a set of keys permanently, all you would have to do is scan their fingerprint in to the memory, and you can give them temporary access to your home. When you get back from vacation you can disable that access like they never had it and you won't have to worry about them making a copy of your keys. If you have children and you want to lock the doors while they are at school, but you don't want to trust them with a key, just scan their prints in to the system and they will never need a key again. They just make it easier for you and your family to get inside your house without making it any easier for criminals to do so.

What to Look For
When looking for a new fingerprint door lock you should look to see if it also has a keypad. If for any reason your fingerprint scanner stops working you will still be able to put the code in without having to carry around your key. You should also look to see how many fingerprints can be stored in the device. Normally they hold more fingerprints than you would ever really need, but it never hurts to check. A typical fingerprint door lock has the ability to hold dozens and in many cases over a hundred. Look at what powers the doorknob and how long it will last. Does it take AA's AAA's or maybe it has a built in battery. Consider the different options and think about what would work best for you.

What are the Implications of Service Robots in Hospitality for Consumers?

The Industrial Revolution, started in the late 18th century, dramatically increased our standard of living by making high-quality, low-cost manufactured goods available to the masses. Today, our economies seem to be facing a turning point, but now in the service sector. Technologies rapidly become smarter and more powerful, and at the same time, they get smaller, lighter, and cheaper. These include hardware such as physical robots, drones, and wearable technologies, as well as code and software related to analytics, speech processing, image processing, virtual and augmented reality, cloud technologies, mobile technologies, geo-tagging, robotic process automation (RPA), low-code platforms, and machine learning. Together, these technologies will transform virtually all service sectors. Service robots and artificial intelligence (AI), combined with these technologies, will lead to rapid innovation that can dramatically improve the customer experience, service quality, and productivity all at the same time (Wirtz & Zeithaml, 2018).To get more news about Robots as a Service, you can visit glprobotics.com official website.

Robot- and AI-delivered service offers unprecedented economies of scale and scope as the bulk of the costs are incurred in their development. Physical robots cost a fraction of adding headcount, and virtual robots (e.g., chatbots and virtual agents) can be scaled at close to zero incremental costs. Such dramatic salability does not only apply to virtual service robots such as chatbots but also to “visible” ones such as holograms. For example, an airport could install a hologram-based humanoid service robot every 50 meters to assist passengers and answer common questions (e.g., provide arrival information and directions to check-in counters) in all common languages. These holograms only require low-cost hardware (i.e., a camera, microphone, speaker, and projector), and do not take up floor space. (Travelers could push their baggage carts through a hologram when it gets crowded.)

Already, many firms show eager interest in experimenting with service robots. For example, in hotels lobbies, humanoid robots may be used to welcome guests, provide information, and entertain guests. At airports, they scan boarding passes and help passengers to find the right departure gate. Self-moving check-in kiosk robots detect busy areas and autonomously go there to help passengers reduce waiting time (Bruhn et al., 2020).

Such robots are the beginning of the Service Revolution. Similar to the shift that started in the Industrial Revolution from craftsmen to mass production, we believe an accelerated shift in the service sector towards robot- and AI-delivered services is imminent. The exciting prospect is that many services, including hospitality, healthcare, and education, are likely to become available at much lower prices and better quality. Consumers will be the big beneficiaries.
Service robots have been defined as “system-based autonomous and adaptable interfaces that interact, communicate and deliver service to an organization’s customers” (Wirtz et al., 2018). These abilities differentiate service robots from traditional self-service technologies (SSTs) we are familiar with in the context of ticketing machines, websites, and apps. As shown in Table 1, service robots can deal with unstructured interactions and guide customers through their service journey. For example, a ticketing robot will not let customers get stuck as it can ask clarifying questions (e.g., “Is your return trip today? Can you travel off-peak?”) and can even recover customer errors (e.g., a wrong button pressed or incorrect information entered). For most standard services, customers will interact with service robots much like with service employees do (e.g., “I need a same-day return ticket” and “Can I use Apple Pay?”).

T-SHIRTS FOR SHORT MEN

All too often, short men have a tough time finding clothes that fit well off the rack. Length is the biggest problem. Most garments simply aren’t made with the shorter guy in mind.To get more news about Short Fit Shirt, you can visit harmonshop.com official website.

This is true for complicated items like suits and outerwear, but it’s also true for the basic t-shirt. Most of them are just too long for men under 5’8″ or so.

When it comes to proper t-shirt fit, since most tees have short sleeves, we really only have to worry about the shirt’s length (from the top or the collar to the bottom hem).

Ideally, your t-shirt will end a couple inches past your belt or waistband, somewhere around mid-fly.If it exposes more than a sliver of belly when you raise your arms up over your head, it’s probably too short (usually not a problem for shorter guys).

Classic t-shirts are made from 100% cotton, so unless they’re pre-shrunk, they will shrink a bit when you wash and dry them. This is actually great for shorter guys. I’ve had a few t-shirts that were too long out of the box but fit perfectly after one laundry cycle.

Yup, you can have your t-shirts hemmed to a shorter length. You can even get them taken in for a closer fit. This is a simple alteration that’s worth it if you shirt is expensive, or if you just really love everything about it (other than the fit).

Remember to launder your shirt before getting it tailored to avoid any post-alterations shrinkage. When it comes to t-shirts for short men, my top pick is from Ash & Erie. It’s the perfect length and has a modern slim-but-not-tight fit.I also appreciate that the “V” isn’t too deep, which is often the case with traditional brands. It’s the right depth and shape for my 5’6″ frame.

Right now, Under 510 only has one t-shirt style, a slim fit short-sleeve henley. It’s available in three basic colors: black, white and blue.

ASKET makes high quality basics, sort of like a more premium Uniqlo or Everlane, but they have a unique sizing system.

They let you choose a size and length, so instead of just buying a size small, you can buy a small/short.Their shorter length shirts are very short. In fact, the XS/short is almost too short for my 5’6″ build!I’ve found that their version of short is actually a bit longer than ASKET, which isn’t a bad thing (an ASKET XS was borderline too short for me).

Keep in mind, these tees aren’t super slim. They’re not baggy, though…more of a middle-of-the-road modern cut.The colors and fabrics are really nice (especially the slub cotton), and you can choose between crew neck, v-neck, curved hem or straight hem.

I’ve always admired Buck Mason from a distance since their standard t-shirts were too long for me, but I recently tried the new shorter lengths, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite tees.

Electric Bikes and Electricity: Charging, Consumption, Costs

The temperature of the room or garage where the battery is charged shouldn’t be inferior to 10°C, or 50 °F nor superior to 30°C or 86 °F, in both cases the battery charging time and even the battery duration in the long run would be, although slightly, affected. Observing this and other precautions can even extend your battery life.To get more news about ebike battery charging, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Charging an e-bike with your car or camper battery
You can buy an ebike charger for your car cigarette lighter, but there are also transformers 12V to 220V that can be plugged directly into the cigarette lighter or into any car battery, capable of providing at least 300W/h, what is mostly sufficient for an ebike charger. Nevertheless, these universal chargers don’t always work with all ebike batteries.
Consider that a car battery has about 50 Ah to 120Ah, whereas an ebike battery can have 8 to 20Ah. If we multiply 12V, which is the battery tension, for the batteries amperes, we obtain the exact battery wattage, anywhere from 600W to 1400W. Still, energy delivery duration is to be considered. The average car battery has a 50Ah hour capacity if it can sustain 5Ah for 10 hours, which amounts approximately to 600Wh (50Ah x 12V). Now, the average ebike battery can be fully charged at 4Ah/hour in three hours. Therefore, most car batteries have got enough juice to fully charge most ebike batteries, the latters having a capacity going from 200W to 1,000W. Nevertheless, if our car battery is a little weak or is not fully charged, it is better to use it to charge the ebike battery only partially. An alternative is to let the engine run during the charge, in order to enable the alternator to charge the car battery. Anyway, reckon 4 to 10 minutes for an alternator to recharge the car battery. Needless to say, this way of charging is useful for emergencies, like blackouts, or if you are camping in the nature.

Charging an ebike with solar panels, even on the go
There are several photovoltaic panels that are portable and capable of delivering even 220V electricity. Just take into account the power of the solar panel, in order to timely charge an ebike battery it should be at least as broad as a small laptop. The wattage delivered by solar panels can decrease even by 90% during cloudy days. Also, check out voltage and amps of the solar panel, and last but not least, the compatibility of your ebike battery charger connections with those of the solar panel.

Charging at bars, restaurants and private homes
Whenever you have a meal or a drink in a restaurant or a bar, you could kindly ask the waiter to show you a plug for charging your battery. Some fast foods are even equipped with free plugs for their customers. In the end, if you’re really stuck in the middle of nowhere with an exhausted battery, you can always ring somebody’s bell and beg for some juice… That shouldn’t be a habit, but sometimes it can even be funny.
What about EV chargers?
Some EV chargers are equipped with a domestic type socket. Provided that your ebike battery charger can withstand the tension, which is normally higher than at a private house, you can charge your ebike battery at a public electric car charger.

Ebike public chargers
They are an excellent solution when we are on the go, the free one in the photo is in Italy.

How to charge an ebike battery
I further illustrated charging an ebike battery in a recent post. We should just consider that, if a battery has been heated by external temperature and or extended usage, we should better wait at least 10 minutes before charging it, least we accelerate its wearing or even risk its definitive failure.
Energy consumption by charging
How many watts does an ebike charger need to fully charge an ebike battery, e.g. a 500 W model? One would guess, obviously 500 Watts. Well, it’s not so simple. Indeed, every time electricity travels through copper wires, connections, sockets, electrical devices, and so on, there is some depletion. According to autobest.org, a prestigious organization & european auto jury established by leading motoring writers coming from eight countries of the European Union, a Volkswagen ID 3 depletes 5.9% of electricity when charging, a Citroën e-C4, 11.4%, a Honda E an appalling 27.10%. Although they are cars and not ebikes, the batteries are quite similar, always Li-ion, so we can expect similar depletions.

Just consider that, if your charger gets quite warm while charging, that heat is produced by the electricity that should charge your battery. Moreover, many batteries are designed to keep always 5% of their capacity stored, sometimes even 10%, so a 500W battery could receive at most 475 W per charge, regardless of what the charger consumes.

How Fast Can An Ebike Go?

When buying an electric bike, beginners will encounter the problem of choosing the speed of the electric bike. That is, the choice of motor power. Generally, the greater the motor power, the stronger the power performance of the electric bike, and the faster the riding speed. To get more news about fastest ebike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Depending on how hard and how often you pedal, you can hit zero to tens of miles per hour. When utilizing standard bikes, you are in complete control of the speed and can easily get around.
What about the speed of electric bikes?
There is a maximum speed that you can reach on an electronic bike. While mountain and road bikes are great for getting around, an e-motor bike allows for far greater speed. And labor-saving, you can ride for a long time. Of course, we also have to take into account local laws when choosing an electric bike.
What affects the speed of an electric bike?
Electric bikes have risen in popularity due to their convenience, speed, and ability to go up steep hills. Although many people use e-bikes for recreational riding or short excursions to the shop, others want an e-bike that can withstand longer rides on a single battery charge. Electric bike top speeds are affected by several factors, including wheel size, motor power, batteries, terrain, brakes, tires, controllers, speed limiters, frame, stability, weight, wind, and uphill. Moreover, state and federal laws set the maximum legal speeds in public areas.
Top speed of electric bike
Regular brands of e-bikes have a top speed between 15 and 35 Mph. Euy's e-bike has a top speed between 20 and 32 mph. Euy fat bikes can go up to 30mph. But that doesn't mean you should be driving at that speed all the time. Local and state laws in the United States set maximum allowable speeds for different types of e-bikes. Modified e-bikes may reach top speeds of 100 Mph. But this clearly violates the laws of most states. And it's very unsafe, riding a bike at the speed of a car can easily put you in danger.

Classes 1, and 2, refer to the maximum legal speeds for electric bikes in different states. Please be aware that there is some variation in these categories among the 50 states. Do a quick internet search or call your state's Department of Motor Vehicles to learn the rules. Class 1, as well as class 2 e-bikes, are legal to ride on the street in the majority of US states.
Is the faster the electric bike, the better?
The short answer would be no. Having a faster E-bike is not a good idea because there are different speed laws in other countries, especially E-bikes. To some, an E-bike going faster is better. Still, you should never forget that E-bikes have limiters on them. These limiters are in place for safety reasons because if E-bikes were going as close to the speeds of motorcycles (even if possible), then the entire road would be filled with E-bikers clashing with each other.
Class I E-bike
Class I e-bikes, can only go up to 20 mph, and their electric motors only engage when the user is cranking the pedals. In the United States, Class I e-Bikes are legal wherever regular bicycles are. This includes bike paths, lanes, as well as parking lots. The throttle on some pedelecs provides an extra power boost. However, it is only activated while the user is cranking the pedals. This means that even if a pedelec e-Bike has a throttle, the rider will still need to pedal to move.

Class II E-bike
Class II e-bikes have the same 20 mph cap on top speed. However, the throttles on these e-Bikes mean that a rider isn't even necessary to get the bike moving. However, riders can still use their pedals in conjunction with the throttle. Class II e-Bikes remain legal in the United States and can be ridden on many of the same paths as standard bicycles.

Class II e-bikes are permitted in the United States because the maximum speed for something like a low-speed electric bike is 20 mph, as stated by federal law. Class III e-bikes, commonly called speed e-bikes, may also feature a throttle, as seen in the following subsection. Riders should also be aware that state laws can differ on the maximum authorized power output of an e-Bike.

Class III E-bike
Class III e-Bikes, often called speed e-Bikes, are electric bikes with top speeds of up to 28 mph. The most noticeably different from regular e-bikes is how fast one can ride one while adhering to traffic laws on speed e-bikes. Road and on-road bike lanes are the only places where Class III e-Bikes are permitted due to their excessive speed for off-road bike routes. However, you shouldn't take them on shared trails or off-road bike lanes where other users might be present. Similarly, Riders should research if Class III e-Bikes are permitted in your state and the maximum allowed speed for such vehicles before buying or riding one.

How To Choose The Right Fat Tire Electric Bike?

Fat tire bikes, also called a fat bike aren’t built to be the fastest bicycle on the market; they’re meant to give you a stable ride in challenging conditions. Consensus from experienced riders seems to be that you can expect to run about 10% slower on a fat bike than you would on a road bike.To get more news about Fat Tire Electric Bikes, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.
There are several factors that you might want to consider when choosing the right fat tire ebike, We will dive into them in details in this article.
Fat tire ebikes are smooth to ride.
Low air pressure is possible with the big capacity fat tires. The tires become extremely soft as a result of this. Shocks and vibrations from the road or path are absorbed by the softer tires. Instead of bouncing off a rock in the trail, the tire deforms around it and absorbs the impact. Suspension is not as important on a fat bike because the tires absorb a lot of the bumps.

They are great for off-road riding and rough terrains
As the tires provide good traction on gravel and dirt. Less pressure is applied to the ground by the big tires. This lets the tires to roll over the snow, sand, and mud rather than sinking in and becoming stuck as a traditional mountain bike tire would. Better traction and floatation make it easier to ride over obstacles and in difficult terrain.
The extra-wide and big tires offer a bigger contact patch with the ground, resulting in exceptional traction on slick snow, ice, and sand. When you hit a slick area, the fat bike won't try to slide out from under you.
The large tires provide exceptional balance and stability and its capable of handling all types of terrain and weather conditions. Your choice of fat tire e-bike is greatly depends upon your needs, there are mainly three types of fat tire e-bikes that you can typically find in the market: learn.

Preparing your home and first-aid kit for a COVID-19 diagnosis

With over 1 million known active cases in Australia, and many more forced to isolate as close contacts, what can we do to protect ourselves and make sure we don’t pass COVID-19 on at home?To get more news about IFaks, you can visit rusuntacmed.com official website.

First, it’s important to remember while many experts have said it’s likely we’ll all get COVID eventually, it’s not inevitable. Taking steps to minimise the spread right now will alleviate the stress on the health system and protect the vulnerable and immune-compromised.Professor Ross Gordon, a COVID and behaviour expert, from Queensland University of Technology says that “even with Omicron” and even if you are young and healthy, you’re at risk of a serious infection.

”The other point here is that you cannot have a healthy and functioning economy when thousands of people are catching COVID-19,” says Professor Gordon, who is a member of the World Health Organisation Technical Advisory Group on Behavioural Insights and Sciences for Health.

“It is a logistical nightmare,” admits Melbourne-based illustrator Beci Orpin, who has spent the past week isolating at home with her family. Her 46-year-old husband, Raph, and 18-year-old son Tyke have both tested positive, but so far, Beci and her 14-year-old son Ari are virus-free.

From a practical perspective, Ms Orpin stayed in the downstairs study, while Raph was in their bedroom and their two sons remained in their respective rooms.

She spent a lot of time cooking and delivered food to both their rooms. They also all wore N95 masks anytime Raph or Tyke went to the bathroom or came downstairs.

“We maintained distance. Sometimes my eldest son didn’t want to eat dinner in his room, so we’d go outside or the other way round,” she says.

She did online shopping and friends made deliveries, stocking up on chicken stock (“I made a lot of soup”), ready-made lasagnes, N95 masks, paracetamol and ibuprofen, ArmaForce supplements, wipes and rapid antigen tests (trying to find them was an “extreme sport” and a friend from Singapore sent extras).A person can be infectious two days before they have symptoms. But if someone starts to show symptoms they should isolate and use a separate bedroom and bathroom to others in their home, if possible, says Sarah Palmer, the co-director of the Centre for Virus Research at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research.

“Second, always put on a mask and ask the infected person to wear a mask [N95/P2 masks if you can get them] when others enter their room,” she adds. “Third, handle all dishes or waste from the infected person with gloves. Do not share dishware, towels, bedding, or electronics with the infected person. In addition, to prevent yourself from getting infected it is important to frequently wash your hands in soapy water for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser.”

Ensure good ventilation by opening doors and windows and, Gordon suggests, using HVAC air purifiers where possible. “Spread is mainly respiratory, so surface disinfection is less important,” says Dr Abrar Ahmad Chughtai, a senior lecturer and epidemiologist at UNSW.

Election officials in Colorado now wearing bulletproof vests following threats

Colorado is reportedly being targeted an election fraud hotspot by various pro-Trump groups who believe that 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump, according to ABC News. To get more news about bulletproof tactical helmet, you can visit bulletproofboxs.com official website.

On Monday, the outlet reported that election officials in the Centennial State have been wearing bulletproof vests and have undergone active shooter preparedness training in response to the possibility of right-wing violence.

Colorado county clerk Josh Zygielbaum told ABC that "the potential for violence that we face is very real."

In Adams County, where Zygielbaum works, election facilities are currently under security review by the Department of Homeland Security. The county is also working jointly with the local, state, and federal authorities to ensure that employees remain safe.

Secretary of State Jena Griswold, a Democrat, told ABC News that various counties have been gifted $130,000 to fortify various facilities where election officials work. Clerk Paul López, whose Denver-based office had to be relocated over security concerns since it was on the first floor, told the outlet that "folks who think they can intimidate election workers and try to stop us from being able to do our job are absolutely incorrect."

"We will defend our democracy, and we will do it in a way that inspires people to come to the polls and not scare them away," he added. Another clerk, Lori Mitchell from Chaffee, said that she's received numerous threats and at one point thought she was about to get shot.

"I saw somebody lay their right hand over their left arm and pull what looked like a gun to me," Mitchell told the outlet. "It ended up being a squirt gun," she added, "but it was still one of the most frightening days of my life."Conspiracies around Colorado's election security appear to stem from the recent rhetoric of Tina Peters, a right-wing Mesa County clerk who was arrested by authorities for recording an election proceeding and lying to a judge about it. Peters, who announced back in February that she's running to oust Griswold in 2022, has been one of the most vocal election deniers in recent months. Last summer, Peters attended a "cyber symposium" hosted by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, another vociferous election denier.

Matt Crane, executive director of the Colorado County Clerks Association, told ABC News that the Centennial State is "one of the current epicenters of the Stop the Steal movement."

"And so we are concerned and very worried about the influence and pressure being put on election officials," Crane added. "They are incredibly understaffed and overworked, and now they have to deal with the emotional toll that comes from knowing that you have to do things to protect yourself."Last month, state lawmakers approved a measure to bar state residents from openly carrying guns into polling locations in order to prevent intimidation
