Should you save up 200 Divines for a deterministic craft, or risk 40 Divines on a gamble that could triple your wealth or leave you with nothing? This guide breaks down two real crafting sessions step by step, showing you exactly what items you need, where the risk lies, and how to walk away with a staff worth 800 Divines on POE 2 Orbs.
Tired of the same meta builds? What if a single passive point turned Blizzard into a homing lightning nuke that clears Pit 100 in 20 minutes – with zero mythic gear required? This guide unveils Static Field, a neglected skill that converts Blizzard into a lightning death zone. It auto-tracks enemies, grants barriers on every cast, and deals damage so fast that "damage over time" becomes "damage right now. on Diablo 4 Gold"
POE 2 Ritual Farming: Turn 1 Audience into 210-Divine Omens
Struggling to afford endgame gear? Wondering why some players pull 210-Divine Omens from rituals while you barely get Chaos orbs? This guide walks you through every step—from getting your first Audience with the King to farming Fracturing Orbs and stacking Omens. No expensive build required. Just a straightforward strategy that turns ritual tributes into a currency printer on POE 2 Orbs.
Want a +7 staff that melts endgame bosses but don't have a mirror to spend? Should you save up 200 Divines for a deterministic craft, or risk 40 Divines on a gamble that could either triple your wealth or leave you with nothing? What exactly are Astrid's Creativity runes and Celestial Alloys, and how do they work with omens to control your modifiers? This guide breaks down two real crafting sessions step by step, showing you exactly what items you need, where the risk lies, and how to walk away with a staff worth 800 Divines on POE2 Currency.
What You'll Need Before You Start
Best for: Anyone who wants to know the real cost of high-end staff crafting before touching a single orb on buy POE 2 Mirror of Kalandra.
For the expensive deterministic craft, budget roughly 200 Divines. The shopping list includes:
Two Astrid's Creativity runes (about 21 Divines each)
Two Celestial Alloys (about 9 to 9.5 Divines each)
One Transcendent Alloy (cast speed alloy)
A fractured +7 staff base (all spell skills) – around 20 Divines
Omens: Dextral Crystallization, Dextrous Crystallization, plus multiple Omens of Light for the final step
For the cheaper gamble craft, you only need about 30 to 40 Divines total:
The same fractured +7 base (20 Divines)
Chaos orbs
One Celestial Alloy (about 10 Divines)
Basic currency like exalts and perfect exalts
✅ Value of this section: Shows you upfront whether you can afford each path, so you don't waste time reading strategies you can't use yet.
Method 1: The 200 Divine Deterministic Craft – Control Almost Everything
Best for: Players who have saved up serious currency and hate leaving things to chance.
This method uses multiple alloys and omens to control outcomes. There's very little randomness until the very last step.
Step 1: Buy Your Fractured Base
Start with a staff that has +7 to level of all spell skills as a fractured modifier. The crafters bought two of these for 8 Divines each before prices jumped. At the time of this guide, expect to pay roughly 20 Divines for the base.
Step 2: Chaos for Critical Strike Chance
Use chaos orbs on the base until you hit a decent critical strike chance modifier. Tier 3 or Tier 2 is good enough. You don't need mirror-tier perfection here.
Step 3: Add a Suffix with a Regular Exalted Orb
Simple step. Just slam a regular exalt to add a suffix.
Step 4: Activate Omen of Dextral Crystallization
This omen lets you target suffixes only for the next crafting step. Critical for control.
Step 5: Apply the Celestial Alloy
Use a Celestial Alloy (the +1 level alloy). Hidden bonus: This alloy also blocks mana modifiers from appearing on prefixes, preventing unwanted mana rolls from ruining your staff.
Step 6: Fill Prefixes with Perfect Exalts
Use perfect exalted orbs to add prefixes until the staff has full prefixes. You want spell damage or spell physical damage. Apply one perfect exalt for a prefix, then a second. This is a double slam on prefixes.
Step 7: Add a Random Suffix
Use a regular exalted orb to add a random suffix. Don't worry about what it is. You're removing it in the next step.
Step 8: Remove That Suffix with Transcendent Alloy
Activate another Omen of Dextrous Crystallization (targeting suffixes again), then use the Transcendent Alloy (cast speed alloy). This removes the random suffix and replaces it with the cast speed modifier from the alloy.
Step 9: Insert Astrid's Creativity
Place an Astrid's Creativity rune into the staff. Good news: you can remove it later if needed.
Step 10: Desecrate for Critical Strike Chance – The Only Real Gamble
This step costs the most. You must desecrate the staff repeatedly until critical strike chance appears. Each desecrate consumes an Omen of Light.
Alternative for low-life builds: There's a desecrated suffix on staves that grants cast speed while on low life. This is an Ulaman modifier. Using the Ulaman omen before desecrating guarantees that modifier. But for a critical strike build, you specifically want critical strike chance, which cannot be guaranteed. You just have to desecrate and pray.
The crafter in the original session got lucky and hit critical strike chance after a moderate number of attempts. The final staff was estimated to be worth 700 to 800 Divines.
✅ Value of this section: Gives you a repeatable, mostly deterministic recipe where only one step relies on luck.
Method 2: The 40 Divine Gamble – High Risk, Mirror-Level Reward
Best for: Players with limited currency who are willing to risk it all for a massive payoff.
This method requires about 30 to 40 Divines total but relies heavily on chance. When it hits, it can produce a staff comparable to the expensive method.
Step 1: Start with the Same Fractured +7 Base
Same as before. Fractured +7 to all spell skills. About 20 Divines.
Step 2: Chaos for Critical Strike Chance
Use chaos orbs on the base until you hit at least Tier 3 critical strike chance.
Step 3: Block Mana with a Prefix Modifier
Instead of desecrating blindly, add a desirable prefix modifier to block mana from appearing on the staff later. This is a clever protective move.
Step 4: Use Celestial Alloy to Remove That Prefix
Activate a Celestial Alloy and target a prefix. This removes the prefix you used to block mana.
Step 5: Double Slam Prefixes with Perfect Exalts
Use perfect exalted orbs to double slam prefixes. You're hoping for spell damage or spell physical damage.
The most common outcome is "double gain" – the undesirable modifier that gives both spell damage and mana. However, there's a reasonable chance of hitting at least one of the two desirable modifiers. In the original crafting session, the crafter hit Tier 2 spell damage on the first slam and Tier 1 spell physical on the second slam. That's an incredibly lucky outcome.
Step 6: Desecrate for Low-Life Cast Speed
For a low-life build, the Ulaman desecrated suffix that grants cast speed while on low life is the target. Because only two Ulaman modifiers exist, using an Ulaman omen before desecrating guarantees this modifier.
The crafter used an Abyssal Echo to obtain two rolls, ensuring a high roll. They hit the maximum roll on the first attempt.
Step 7: Optional Advanced Step – Adding a Fourth Suffix
A rune called Surly's Triumph allows one additional suffix modifier on an item. To use this, you would need to complete the critical strike chance step earlier, then add cast speed, then add the desecrated cast speed on low life. This would create a staff with four suffixes. The crafters noted this was an option for later, not required for the current craft.
✅ Value of this section: Shows you exactly where the risk lies and how to maximize your chances when gambling on a budget.
Expensive vs Cheap Method: Which One Is Right For You?
Expensive Deterministic Method:
Cost: Roughly 200+ Divines
Steps: Many, but mostly controlled
Risk: Only the final desecrate for critical strike chance is truly random
Result: Guaranteed high-quality staff, potentially mirror-tier
Lower-Cost Gamble Method:
Cost: Roughly 30 to 40 Divines
Steps: Fewer, but heavily dependent on chance
Risk: Double gain outcome means a mediocre staff and wasted currency
Result: When successful, produces a staff comparable to the expensive method
✅ Value of this section: Helps you decide which path matches your budget and risk tolerance.
Important Technical Notes That the Game Doesn't Tell You
Alloys work with omens despite the item descriptions not stating this explicitly. You can target suffixes with omens before using alloys.
The +1 level alloy (Celestial Alloy) blocks mana modifiers from appearing on prefixes. This is not written in the tooltip but has been confirmed to work through extensive testing.
Tooltip damage per second should not be trusted completely. Cinder and other mechanics can cause inaccurate tooltip readings. Always test your staff in actual gameplay.
The lower-cost method produces exceptional results only with significant luck. The crafter in the original session achieved Tier 1 spell physical on a double slam – an outcome with very low probability. Do not expect this every time.
✅ Value of this section: Saves you from expensive mistakes caused by incomplete or misleading tooltips.
The Final Staff – What Success Looks Like
At the conclusion of the original crafting session, the staff produced had:
+7 to all spell skills (fractured)
Tier 2 spell damage
Tier 1 spell physical damage
Tier 3 critical strike chance
Cast speed on low life (desecrated, maximum roll)
This staff enabled the use of Brutality support (20 percent chance to ignore physical damage reduction) and was a clear upgrade over the previous staff. Estimated value? Approximately 800 Divines.
✅ Value of this section: Shows you the exact target to aim for, so you know when to stop crafting and start using your weapon.
Struggling to afford endgame gear? Wondering why some players are pulling 210-Divine Omens from rituals while you barely get a few Chaos orbs? What exactly is the "Rite of the Nameless," and how do you even unlock it? This guide walks you through every step—from getting your first Audience with the King to farming Fracturing Orbs and stacking Omens. No expensive build required. Just a straightforward strategy that turns ritual tributes into a currency printer on POE2 Currency.
Step 1: Don't Start Clicking Yet – You Need to Find the King First
Best for: Players who just finished the atlas and can't figure out why half the ritual passives are locked.
Many players hit a wall where ritual points seem stuck. The game won't tell you this, but several core passives require boss kills to unlock on POE 2 Divine Orbs for sale.
How to access rituals: Head left from the central Fortress to Karth. Complete all maps around the Crux of Nothingness to grab every available ritual point.
Why can't you allocate certain nodes? Mysterious Rites, Spreading Darkness, and the center cluster all require killing the King in the Mist first.
Difficulty note: The King is relatively easy. The other pinnacle boss called Bodok is extremely difficult. This guide covers both.
✅ Value of this section: Saves you from wasting dozens of hours on a half-built tree and wrong pathing.
Step 2: The Infamous "Audience with the King" – How to Actually Get It
Best for: Players who've run endless maps and still haven't seen a single Audience drop.
Every time you complete rituals, any tribute you don't spend gets offered to the King. Eventually, this rewards you with an Audience with the King item.
This is where 99 percent of players get stuck. The item says: "Required to reveal the Crux of Nothingness on the Atlas." It means exactly what it says. You must have the Audience in your inventory while looking at your Atlas. Crux nodes will then appear as special map icons. They're actually fairly common—you just can't see them without holding the item.
Pro tip: When you click a Crux node, the game often freezes for 10 to 15 seconds. Don't panic. This is normal. An Audience map will then unlock. Run it like a normal map. No tablets allowed. Just a boss fight against the King in the Mist.
✅ Value of this section: Reveals the most hidden and frustrating gatekeeping mechanic, so you stop banging your head against the wall.
Step 3: Kill the King, Take His Head – Your Real Entry Ticket
Defeat the King in the Mist. He drops at least one Head of the King. Sometimes multiple.
This item is valuable on its own, currently worth about 130 to 160 Divines.
But its more important role? It unlocks the Rite of the Nameless.
✅ Value of this section: Makes it clear that the Head of the King isn't just vendor trash or a quick sale. It's your gateway to real profit.
Step 4: The Rite of the Nameless – 6 Maps That Make You Richer Every Time
Best for: Players who have a Head of the King but don't know what to do next.
Return to Karth, find the statue, and attach the Head of the King. You'll enter a selection screen where you must choose six connected maps.
Current mechanic (may be patched): You can currently do this as many times as you want. Patch notes suggest this will change so that once you click a map, you're locked in. Pay attention to updates.
How to pick maps for maximum profit:
Click the first map. It shows two connected options plus a bounty. Bounties can include:
Increased tribute
Omens (your number one priority)
Chaos orbs
Exaltation orbs
Additional monster packs
The golden rule: Always prioritize omens. The Omen of Whittling is currently worth around 210 Divines. That's the most stable currency printer in the entire mechanic.
Watch your pathing carefully. Avoid picking maps that lead to dead ends or unique maps (which can't be used), or you may limit your remaining options.
Once all six maps are selected, the Rite of the Nameless begins. Every map in the rite has guaranteed rituals that are significantly more rewarding than normal. Each map also drops a Call of the Shadows.
✅ Value of this section: Teaches you exactly how to navigate the selection screen so every single rite turns a profit.
Step 5: Bodok – High Risk, Even Higher Reward
Best for: Hardcore players who want to clear everything and chase the ultimate challenge.
Collect five Calls of the Shadows, then place them into the effigy in Karth. This grants access to the Bodok fight.
Critical tip for Twister builds: Do not use Salvo or Prolonged Duration. These make your twisters last longer in darkness, which actively hurts you. Instead, use supports like Close Combat and Deliberation.
Warning: Bodok is genuinely brutal. Watch video guides first. Practice is required. Don't burn your Calls unprepared.
✅ Value of this section: Saves you from wasting five Calls of the Shadows on a fight you aren't ready for.
Step 6: What Actually Drops – A Simple Price Guide
Best for: Anyone who wants to know exactly what to pick up and what to sell.
Heads of the King: 130 to 160 Divines. You will get more than you need. Sell the extras.
Omens of Whittling: Roughly 210 Divines. Always in demand across the entire league. Never drops in price.
Omens of Chaotic Rarity, Quantity, and Effectiveness: Not yet extremely valuable, but they will rise when pack size or rarity strategies emerge. Consider holding these for later.
Omen of Chance: Approximately 500 Exalts. Solid steady income.
Omen of Dextral Enrolment: Approximately 338 Exalts. Another reliable seller.
Fracturing Orbs: Drop from summoning circle bosses. With the right atlas nodes, expect 1 to 3 per ritual fight. Two is common. One is very common.
✅ Value of this section: Lets you instantly recognize valuable drops and know whether to sell now or hold for later.
Step 7: Ritual Tablets – Only These Modifiers Are Worth Chasing
Best for: Players who are juicing maps and want to optimize every single tablet.
Tablets aren't as impactful as you might hope, but certain modifiers are absolutely worth chasing.
Valuable prefixes:
Pack size
Increased magic monsters
Increased rare monsters
Additional summoning circles
These increase tribute by adding more monsters killed within ritual circles.
Valuable suffixes:
Revive monsters have a chance to be magic or rare (best for tribute by a wide margin)
Additional omens
Re-rolling an additional time
Reduced deferral cost
Reduced re-rolling cost
Avoid focusing too heavily on reduced re-rolling costs. You'll burn through your re-rolls and have nothing left to spend tribute on.
✅ Value of this section: Prevents you from wasting currency on useless tablet modifiers that sound good but do nothing.
Step 8: The Ritual Atlas Tree – Skip These Nodes and You Deserve Bad RNG
Best for: Players who want a scientific, proven passive tree that maximizes every drop.
First Priority – Summoning Circles
Rush From Distances Untold. This node gives summoning circles in cleansed areas a chance to have an additional monster modifier. It also gives summoning circle bosses with additional modifiers a 5 percent chance to drop a Fracturing Orb.
Combine this with Challenging Foe (25 percent chance for an additional monster modifier). Fracturing orbs drop frequently. Notably, they seem to drop even outside cleansed areas.
Second Priority – Rite of the Nameless Nodes
Rush straight up the middle to Revive Monsters have increased chance to be magic and rare (extra tribute). Then take Ritual Altars have a 15 percent chance to be built on summoning circles (spawns an additional boss).
After that, go for Royal Tithe to access the Rite of the Nameless cluster:
Bring Forth the Unseen
Hour of the Nameless
Ongoing Chance
Umberling
Then take Traveler's Woe and Sapping for gloves and rings from Spreading Darkness.
The Hidden Jackpot: Headhunter or Mageblood?
One node states: "The Rite of the Nameless list can rarely offer specific, valuable, unique items." The teaser trailer showed a Mageblood on this list. Chase this node if you're hunting for massive drops.
Flexible Nodes
You can switch Invigorated Sacrifices depending on your needs. If you have many deferred favors, switch to the node that gives more tribute.
✅ Value of this section: Turns a confusing passive tree into a clear, step-by-step priority list that guarantees results.
Step 9: Why Summoning Circles Are the Real Soul of This Strategy
Best for: Anyone who wants consistent Fracturing Orbs plus a shot at monster jackpot bosses.
Summoning circles matter for three reasons:
First: Fracturing Orbs drop exclusively from summoning circle bosses.
Second: Danger in the Wild gives summoning circles in non-city areas a 5 percent chance to summon a random deadly map boss. This includes Jade Isles and Sacred Reservoir, which drop support gems worth hundreds of Divines.
Third: More bosses mean more tribute and more rewards.
One sentence summary: All your passive points and gear choices should prioritize summoning circles above everything else.
✅ Value of this section: Shifts your focus from "more tribute" to "more summoning circles," which is where the real money actually lives.
Step 10: The General Atlas Tree – Just Search for Two Words and You're Done
Best for: Players who want a brainless, effective way to finish their atlas tree.
For the rest of your atlas tree, search for "pack size" after zooming in first. Pack size increases tribute directly. Grab every increased monster and increased pack size node you can find.
Then search for "increased rares and magics" for additional tribute.
No complicated math. No weird synergies. Just these two keywords.
✅ Value of this section: Gives you the simplest, most brute-force effective method for filling out your remaining points.
Tired of grinding maps while your friends are swimming in Divine Orbs? Want to know why some players sell one jewel for 70 Divines while you struggle to afford a single upgrade?
This guide exposes exactly how to exploit Rogue Exile jewel drops and high-tier rare gear before the league crashes. The clock is ticking—here's everything you need on POE2 Currency.
Want to hit 99 Fishing while watching Netflix? Or maybe you need a steady food supply for your Ironman but hate wasting time on slow methods on OSRS gold?
This guide breaks down the fastest, laziest, and most profitable routes from level 1 to 99. You‘ll learn which two quests skip the worst early grind, why the Angler outfit is non-negotiable, and exactly when to switch from fly fishing to AFK Barbarian mode. No fluff—just the straight path to your cape on RuneScape gold for sale.
Construction is one of the most isolated skills in Old School RuneScape, but also one of the most important. A well-built player-owned house (POH) makes every other adventure smoother. This guide covers training methods for both mains and ironmen, key level benchmarks, and the most efficient paths to 99 on OSRS gold.
Why Train Construction?
Construction lets you build utility elements in your POH. Level 84 gives you a pseudo-max house with a +8 boost. Level 90 gives you a true max house. The construction skill cape is widely considered one of the best in the game on RuneScape gold for sale.
Key teleport and utility unlocks (assuming boosts):
Level 76 – Mounted digsite pendant
Level 82 – Ornate pool of rejuvenation
Level 83 – Ornate jewelry box
Level 84 – Crystalline portal nexus
Level 90 – Spirit tree and fairy ring combination
Questing for a Head Start
Construction doesn't have many quest requirements for training methods. However, two quests help early on.
Daddy's Home (mini-quest) – Get 10 planks, 5 bolts of cloth, 50 nails, a hammer, and a saw from the lumber yard northeast of Varrock. Complete this mini-quest to reach level 8 and get your own house for free (saving 1,000 GP). Open the supply crate and use all materials to reach level 12.
Tower of Life – Requires level 10 Construction. The experience payout isn't huge, but it's quick. Doing both quests gets you to level 15.
Other important quests for utility (not training): Plague City, Children of the Sun, Fairy Tale Part II, The Eyes of Glouphrie, Death to the Dorgeshuun, Lunar Diplomacy, and Dragon Slayer II.
Early Game Training (Levels 1–33)
If you skip quests, buy a house from an estate agent in Varrock, Falador, or Seers' Village for 1,000 GP. Enter your house in Rimmington via build mode.
Materials needed: 142 regular planks, 242 oak planks, and 200–400 nails. Mains buy these on the Grand Exchange. Irons chop regular and oak trees, then take logs to the sawmill northeast of Varrock. Alternatively, complete Children of the Sun for access to the sawmill in Auburnvale (Varlamore), which is much closer to a bank.
Build these furniture pieces in order:
Crude wooden chair (1–8)
Wooden chair (8–14)
Rocking chair (14–19)
Oak chair (19–26)
Oak armchair (26–29)
Oak bookcase (29–33)
Runelite tip: Activate Menu Entry Swapper. Shift-right-click whatever you're building to change left-click options for both build and destroy. This saves massive time.
Hiring a Butler
Build two bedrooms in your house. Build a bed in each. Then go to the Servants' Guild north of the Rimmington market and hire a butler. The standard butler unlocks at level 40, the demon butler at level 50. Butlers fetch supplies from your bank, allowing you to train without leaving your house. Build a servant's money bag in one bedroom to deposit coins so your butler can withdraw from it directly.
Core Training Methods
All methods below assume you have a demon butler and have customized your left-click options.
Oak Larders (level 33+) – Build a kitchen. Have your butler bring oak planks. The cook butler carries only 16 items (200k XP/hour). The demon butler carries more (up to 450k XP/hour). Great budget option.
This guide provides a systematic approach to improving hitting performance in MLB The Show 26. The following instructions cover optimal settings, controller mechanics, visual techniques, and strategic plate discipline. Implementation of these methods will increase run production for both new and experienced players on MLB The Show 26 Stubs.
1. Configure Settings for Optimal Performance
Proper configuration of the game settings establishes the foundation for consistent hitting.
Hitting Interface: Zone. This setting provides full control of the Plate Coverage Indicator (PCI). The Directional interface relies on statistical probability, whereas Zone requires direct user input to track the pitch on cheap MLB 26 Stubs.
Camera Angle: Strike Zone. This angle removes visual distractions, including the batter, catcher, and umpire. The interface displays only the pitcher and the ball. Additionally, this camera aligns the pitcher with the center of the strike zone.
PCI Appearance: Miimalist. Reduce on-screen elements to minimize distraction. Select a PCI center design based on personal preference (for example, the bat shape). Disable the inner and outer PCI components.
PCI Anchor: Free. This setting allows manual PCI placement before each at-bat. Players who struggle against up-and-in fastballs may anchor the PCI in that location. Similarly, anticipation of a low-away pitch permits anchoring in that quadrant.
Background Blur: On. This feature, new to MLB The Show 26, blurs the stadium background to enhance focus on the pitcher and ball. Note: If frame rate reduction occurs, disable this feature until a software patch is released.
Swing Input: Buttons (Normal Swing). Use the normal swing (X on PlayStation, A on Xbox) as the default. Power swings should be reserved for specific scenarios, such as moments requiring a home run from a player with low power statistics. Contact swings are not recommended, as they reduce home run potential.
2. Correcting Excessive PCI Movement
Many players exhibit a tendency to move the PCI abruptly and excessively, often in the direction opposite the pitch. This behavior is correctable through two methods.
Method A: Adjust PCI Sensitivity
Initial setting: Move the PCI Sensitivity slider fully to the left (slowest response).
Testing: Play several games or enter Practice Mode. If the PCI moves too slowly to reach high or low pitches, increase the slider by one increment to the right.
Repetition: Continue this adjustment process until the optimal sensitivity for controlled movement is identified.
Outcome: This adjustment is the most effective in-game modification for improving PCI accuracy.
Method B: Install Precision Rings (External Accessory)
Precision rings are rubber attachments placed around the analog stick. They provide physical resistance that prevents abrupt stick movement. Their use is permitted in competitive play.
3. The Crossover Method for Lower Difficulties
For players competing on Rookie, Veteran, or early All-Star difficulty levels, the Crossover Method simplifies pitch recognition.
During the initial frames following pitch release, direct visual attention to the pitcher's body rather than the ball.
Determine whether the ball crosses the pitcher's body.
If the ball does not cross the pitcher's body: the pitch is likely outside, inside, or out of the strike zone. Do not swing.
If the ball crosses the pitcher's body early after release: the pitch is likely centered in the strike zone. Execute a swing.
On lower difficulties, the PCI is sufficiently large that horizontal movement is unnecessary. Only vertical PCI adjustment is required.
This guide covers the most effective strategies for scouting and drafting in MLB 26 Franchise mode on MLB The Show 26 Stubs.
Tip 1: Set Your Scouts Up for Success
You have three scouts. Each should specialize.
Discovery Scout: Target at least 90 discovery (95+ ideal). Only the discovery rating matters. Efficiency, pitchers, and position players ratings have minimal impact. In a test class using a 97 discovery scout with nothing else above 75, all discovered players became top-five picks with 85+ potential on MLB The Show 26 Stubs for sale.
Other Two Scouts: One requires 90+ Efficiency and 90+ Position Players (scouts only position players). The other requires 90+ Efficiency and 90+ Pitchers (scouts only pitchers). These three scouts perform the same role every year.
Tip 2: Identify Generational Prospects
Initial identification (may be patched): Look for age 18-19, 99 potential, and 77-83 overall. Open the player card. If maximum durability is exactly 85, the player is generational.
Example: Ryan Grady (18, 99 potential, 81 overall, 85 durability) = generational. Cesar Gonzalez (18, 99 potential, 77 overall, 66 durability) = not generational.
What to expect when scouting:
Week 1: Potential drops to 94-95. The game tries to trick you.
Week 2: Draft rank increases.
Week 3-4: Accurate ratings appear.
You do not need to scout generational prospects for 3-4 weeks. Identify them early using durability and spend time elsewhere.
Tip 3: Scout Pitchers by Region, Position Players Individually
Scouting percentages (90 efficiency scout for 18-year-olds):
Individual: 45% per week
Regional: 10% per week (nerfed from 15%)
Position players: Finding five players in the same region and position worth scouting is nearly impossible. Scout individually. Your goal is not to scout many players but to scout good players.
Pitchers: Scout by region. More pitchers are generated, and they fill out your draft class.
Recommended pitching strategy:
Weeks 1-5: International region (50% scouting)
Weeks 6-10: Central region (or East) (another 50%)
Weeks 11-14: Finish individual pitcher profiles from 50% to 100%
Tip 4: Always Be Discovering
Your discovery scout should discover players all 14 weeks.
Weeks 1-2: Discover in your primary pitching region.
Weeks 2-3: Switch to your secondary pitching region.
Cycle through infield, outfield, and regions for position players.
Discovery is high-risk, high-reward. In one test class, discovery alone produced a 70 overall with 93 potential (4th pick) and a 64 overall with 88 potential (5th pick). The best late-round picks often come from weeks 12-14.
Tip 5: Identify All Other Good Players
5.1 Mind the Gap
The gap = maximum potential − maximum overall. The gap remains the same from unscouted to drafted.
The maximum starting overall for 99% of players is 75 or 76. To get A potential (80+), you need a gap of at least 15 points.
Recommended gap ranges:
Acceptable: 15 to 35 points
Optimal: 20 to 30 points
First round: Do not scout gaps below 15
5.2 Look Only at Current Projections
Do not trust future ratings. Development is based purely on performance. Speed does not increase. Stealing, velocity, break, and stamina increase very little. Look only at the Present column.
