The 2021 Himiway E-Bike Lineup + Our Take On Each Model
When Mike, founder, and CEO of Himiway eBikes, came back from his travels through Asia, he had a dream: To create an eBike that cut the middleman, making an affordable ride that didn’t compromise quality. And as an American, he knew that the masses needed an eBike that could keep up with the rugged adventures of wild, mountainous terrain. To get more news about himiway ebike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.
The result was a bike designed to cater to the masses at an affordable price, while also able to handle rougher trails. Himiway has completed this by giving every member of their e-fleet Kenda tires – a high-quality, low-cost addition that is durable and puncture-free.
Himiway’s fleet is built to cater to everybody, regardless of age or ability. And with company expansions to markets in the US, Canada, Germany, the UK, and the rest of the world, sharing the love for health-driven commuting and clean energy has never been more effortless.
Say hello to Himiway’s ultra-adjustable jack of all trades, The All-Terrain Cruiser.
This all-terrain electric fat-tired edream comes with a host of specs, including a pedal-assist program that allows you to add or remove levels as needed, odometer, speedometer, and USB charger.
There are two riding modes with the Himiway eBikes – Pedal Assist and Electric Mode. Should you desire a pedal to work, the PAS kicks in with up to 10 levels of customization. When you want the electric mode to take over, simply use the throttle and motor away.
Meet the more approachable member of Himiway’s fleet. White is the signature colour of this model, and the Cruiser Step-Thru is just that – a step-thru version of The Cruiser.
Don’t be fooled by the near-identical specs of the Cruiser Step-Thru; with 60 miles range, 350 lb capacity, and dual ride modes, the ebike takes a decisive step into a niche of eBikes that are more accessible – and absolutely necessary.
Extra features of the Cruiser Step-Thru include a half-twist throttle, front coil suspension, hydraulic lockout, and those sexy fat tires. Yum.The Himiway Escape is a brilliant eBike with a huge personality. From the Kenda puncture-resistant fat tires to the versatility of accessibility to all ages, the Escape is the renaissance man of the Himiway fleet.
This compact model has the same dual-ride mode of the Cruiser and Cruiser Step-Thru, with a slightly smaller battery to accommodate the size of the frame. The weight of this model clocks in at 92 lbs – though with a weight capacity of 330 lbs, the Escape is more than able to get the job done – with extra juice to spare.
There’s nothing more fun than a bike that’s outfitted with a sound suspension system – and with the Escape’s dual suspension and hydraulic lockout, you’re in for a ride smoother than the peanut butter on this morning’s toast.
Everyone has that friend that is a little different. For Himiway, that is the Pedelec, a friendly city bike that parts ways with the most prominent bit of the company’s identity, the fat tire.
Replacing the fat style is a Kenda puncture-resistant tire that is a standard 1.95 inches in width on 26 inch wheels. Paired with a 250W gear hub motor with 5 levels of pedal assist, the Pedelec is what you want if you live where bike lanes are well kept and prominent. It’s not as adventurous as the All-Terrain, nor is it as small as the Escape. It’s a mid-sized bike for the urban environment, and the emphasis on the “Ped” in Pedelec is intentional, as it differs from the other Himiway bikes by not having a grip or thumb throttle. It’s pedal assist only for this eBike.
As it is destined for the city, the Pedelec is packed with useful features. Key among these is a fully adjustable handlebar and stem system that lets you adjust both reach and height to find the perfect position for you. A USB charger is built into the LCD display so you can mount a GPS or smartphone on the handlebars, as well as the LCD screen itself being backlit so it’s readable at night without blinding you.
With a 36V 18.2 Ah Samsung battery, the Pedelec is built for long distance, all day riding. Officially estimated range is from 80 to 120 kilometers, or 50 to 75 miles. The Pedelec will get up to 25 KPH (15 MPH) on pedal assist, and comes down from speed with reliable, proven Bengal 160mm hydraulically operated disc brakes. A full headlight and taillight system is included, both with accompanying reflectors, so that you can ride in the day or night with full confidence.
