Authorities on Sunday recovered a U-Haul truck filled with boxes of Yeezy Adidas high-end sneakers, and they arrested a 26-year-old Southeast Portland man, the Portland Police Bureau said.

"Last night, a U-Haul containing 1,100 pairs of new Adidas ‘Yeezy' shoes was stolen," the bureau's North Precinct said on Twitter. "Dayshift officers located the U-Haul, arrested 26 YO Rupert Crosse and recovered the shoes, which are estimated to be worth over $250,000."Rupert Cabrial Crosse has been charged with aggravated theft and possession of a stolen vehicle, court documents state.

Crosse, known as "Cabby," already had pending cases involving prostitution and strangulation.In November, Crosse was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of oxycodone, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and attempting to elude police on foot.
