What is 3D rendering? All you need to know
Some technologies, such as 3D rendering, seemed impossible just a few decades ago. But now they're at the heart of visualising innovation in many business sectors. To get more news about 3D Home Design, you can visit 3drenderingltd.com official website.
With 3D rendering, what was once an expensive endeavour to visualise creative concepts without going through the costly process of physical prototyping. This process is now accessible, affordable and much faster.
What is 3D rendering?
3D rendering is defined as the automated process of creating a 3D image using computer software.
The idea of 3D rendering is not new and has been around for four decades. However, although the concept was there, it was not as advanced as it is today.
Today, with advances in technology such as increased computing power and high-resolution printing, the technology is being used in a variety of creative fields where it can help to further visualise a designer's concepts.
How does it work?
Well, you might wonder why you need a computer or software to render an image when you can easily use a camera to take a picture of the same object. There are some similarities between photography, cinematography and 3D imaging.
They both involve staging scenes, lighting and producing images. However, a camera is limited to photographing existing objects, and even then there is a huge creative limitation in that you cannot manipulate the camera or the image enough to create elements that are not there that you would like to include in the image.
3D rendering software essentially allows a designer to bring their concepts to life in a digital image with excellent detail and at a low cost compared to prototyping different scenarios in real life.
An architect designing a simple or complex building can bring the concepts of their design to life using 3D images to help a client see and understand their work.
The client can see what the complete image of the house would look like from all angles; front, back, even aerial. The image can include immaculate details of the house such as the lawn, car park, swimming pool and garden.
The same software can also show amazing details of the interior design, from living room and kitchen designs to floor plans, wall colours and general colour schemes to consider for the home's interior.
