When a job calls for paving far from your base of operations, plant mobility and durability are critical. The portable version of the ALmix UF Series Drum Mixer delivers features that allow portable operators to set up, produce and move to another location quickly and cost-effectively without sacrificing heavy-duty drum and component construction.
Skid-mounted installations, (also known as “relocatable” asphalt plants) are ideal for long-term usage when the highest production rates are required. Heavy steel support legs are supplied to grade with steel pads so that concrete piers need not be poured.
Whether you are looking for your twentieth or your very first asphalt plant, trust the team that has installed over 1,000 asphalt mixing plants worldwide. From permitting, planning, and plant concepting, to plant installation, program troubleshooting, and service after the sale; relax and let our team of asphalt equipment professionals guide you through the process of getting your new plant up and running.
The UF Series Drum Mixer is a mix-making beast, found at the center of each UF Series Asphalt Plant. These drum mixers are of the counterflow design and include a special bolt-in flight layout, that when coupled with VFD-controlled rotational speed allows for maximum drying and mixing efficiency, lower stack temperature, and reduced fuel consumption. The drum’s simple, unified design is tough and relatively low maintenance.
