The Chiefs run game was completely ineffective. The Chiefs only had 54 yards of ground in the first quarter of the fourth quarter. There was a critical fourth-and-1 defense by the Eagles defense which could have altered the course of this game.

Patrick Mahomes played extremely conservatively. It appeared that Mahomes would like to take his time moving through the field slowly and carefully, however when he needed to get a first down in the fourth quarter the quarterback threw his pick-six at Darius Slay Jr.

Mahomes was responsible buy mut coins for five turnovers in the game -- three interceptions and two fumbles. Mahomes's cautious play against Eagles failed because, once the Eagles were down during the first quarter Mahomes began to force throws which led to two interceptions.
