The second reason I dislike prayer's effectiveness being diminished in RuneScape Gold pvm is because they are decreasing its efficacy. While I would not mind that in pvp, they have lowered the effectiveness of prayer in the pvm. All prayer-boosting gear was also removed. This makes soul separation and turmoil much more costly and slows down slayer's progress even if you do not use them.

Thirdly, the choice they made in regards to the armour/waffen system isn't something I like. Shields do not have offensive stats and I am not sure the way Defender functions. Gloves and boots are no longer offensively able. 

All offensive increases are now only relative and not absolute (i.e. +2 instead of similar to +8) and it seems that the only factor that is able to be increased is critical hit chance. This is a huge problem for more powerful, slower weapons such as the rapier. Rapier, which is a more slow weapon than rapier has its speed lowered to allow it to be a CLS with the stab, not slash.

The second thing to note is that the style switch cannot be used for range or melee. It is only possible to stab using a rapier. The switch of your weapon allows you to cut. To get a distance it is the only way to increase speed of attack is to choose a more powerful weapon. The only way to get a greater distance is to choose a slower one.

Then, there are the skills. To effectively fight it is simply to press every ability. In addition to being more demanding on the fingers, this requires much more attention, making combat quite difficult if you wish to train a lot for example, if you wish to Buy OSRS Fire Cape get 99 slay. Additionally, all combat xp is given at the end instead of per hit, making praying flashing a lot harder.
