You do not thank them every time from then on whenever they're being nice. from Wei weismart's blog
They both backpeddled and apologized if they have been called out. They don't have rights to Kap's likeness in the game however they can mention him in the tune (as they have with plenty of other people characters in different tunes ). The fact that mut coins madden 21 they did this two years in a row suggests it wasn't an innocent oversight but a real decision to collaborate with a fundamentally racist act of collusion within the NFL. I'm not defending a provider. I'm not saying EA is a bastion of social justice. Most people in general (not just reddit) can not see past black and white. Cynicism inspires outrage and outrage inspires clicks. That's why negativity floats to the best in all social media. Cynicism inspires outrage and outrage inspires clicks. This is a major factor. Youtube for one has done studies, since it's a huge part of their company and they would like to know it. There's been testimony to congress about it I've watched but can not find at this time. What they want is engagement and the more negatively styled something is the more people will click it as it comes up on your recommendations.
Businesses don't want one to defend them, let their attorneys do this work. "Firms don't need one to defend them", but attacking companies when they're doing the proper thing is necessary and productive? It does not matter whether it's for PR reasons, they're still raising awareness for this problem and hurting nobody by doing this procedure. Meanwhile the people who see this as an opportunity to attack are only perpetuating a negative atmosphere of continuous whining. It is not so much about"protecting businesses" but about attacking this needless negativity. So you are really just adding to the man's argument by doing exactly what he explained. They're not doing anything however. They just released a statement filled with empty rhetoric. You understand what doing some thing is? Not making another Madden game since the NFL punished players like Kaepernick for carrying a knee. That would be remarkable. But we are all aware that's not what is going to occur.
The simple fact that people here are really acting like this is a meaningful gesture is indeed fucking baffling. EA literally moved out of its way to wash his name out of their games two years straight, but this thread is making it seem like they have donated millions. It's the very definition of slacktivism. It'd be more fair if they had said nothing in any way. I never said"Let's attack a business for doing the right thing." You can remain optimistic of matters looking up, which I frequently am. If your buddy hurts your feelings, they must regain your trust.
You do not thank them every time from then on whenever they're being nice. Wait, why don't you? If a friend of mine hurt me and made an effort to be fine I would absolutely want to tell them that I appreciate their efforts. Positive reinforcement is a great thing. It helps people behave better, who's to say it can not make a corporation act better also? It's worth rewarding them for it like it is well worth rewarding a problem kid for doing their best to get a day. EA (and people generally ) shouldn't encourage black individuals for any reason beyond the fact that it is the right thing to do. Benefits come from good behaviour, you should not be on good behaviour for the added benefits. Once I see EA contribute to the causes or implement efforts to help out black developers or things of that type, then I'll praise them. We only should require a higher standard and quit permitting firms off the hook easily. I am of the mindset that offset culture is mostly bad and individuals should be invited to alter and improve. But we should not let ourselves to be performed by companies who are, at the close of the afternoon, trying to remove all obstacles in the buy Madden nfl 21 coins way of getting our cash. I've been burnt by false promises a lot of times.
