Bus from Resorts World Sentossa to Kuala Lumpur TBS

I had a few days left from my business trip in Singapore before I headed to Malaysia for my next business visit. I wanted to make the most of the time that I had to explore this magnificent city. While booking my tickets for Malaysia from redbus.sg, the bus boarding point mentioned was Resorts World Sentossa and I thought of making a trip to this place.

It is one of the most luxurious and spacious air-conditioned hotel equipped with a state of the art iHome System and a private balcony for each guest room. The hotel is also equipped with a huge infinity outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and a spa that will pamper you to the fullest. The rooms have neutral tones of colour and each of them are equipped with flat screen TVs, a queen size bed, a fully stocked mini bar as well as tea and coffee vending machines.

The hotel also has a unique Chinese Tea that is solely available on request. The bathrooms are equipped with all basic toiletries. The Spa here features relaxing body massages and facials. You do not have to worry about the food either as the in-house forest restaurant serves a fusion of Singaporean and Chinese cuisine amidst an elegant decor.

Some of the major attractions like the largest Sea Aquarium, Adventure Water Park, Resorts World Convention Centre, Universal Studio of Singapore and the Singaporean Casino are all located within walking distance of this magnificent hotel.  If you are a shopaholic, you will be delighted to know that the Vivo City Shopping Mall is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel gate.

There are about 3 Operators plying on this route between Resorts World Sentossa and Kuala Lumpur TBS.  KKKL Travel and Tours, Star Mart Express, Transstar are some of the famous operators, which are preferred by the locals as well as tourists. KKKL Travels has about 5 buses plying throughout the day starting from 5:45 am in the morning to 6:30 am. The total duration of the journey between the 2 cities is about 4 hours 50 minutes but that is only if you catch the first bus in the morning when there is no traffic. If you happen to leave later during the day, it might take about 6 to 7 hours as the city is famous for its notorious traffic snarls. Another operator Star Mart Express has 2 buses plying the first one leaving at 6:30 am and the other at 6:45 am. Transstar which is a luxury Bus Operator and a little on a costlier side has only one bus plying that is at 7:00 am in the morning. Fares for these buses start from SGD36 and go up all the way to SGD50 depending upon the class of bus you book. KKKL Tours and Star Mart Express operate Executive coaches, Transstar being the only solitaire bus operator on this route. These buses have about 18 to 19 seats in each coach thereby making space for plenty of legroom.
