SEPANG, Malaysia -- Force India remains very confident of extending the contract of Sergio Perez despite the Mexican drivers threat that he will be forced to consider changing teams if a deal is not reached this month. Tim Schaller Jersey .The deal was being held up by negotiations over the commercial terms of the sponsorship between team, driver and the Mexican telecommunications companies Telmex, Telcel and Claro. The driver contract has been completed for some time, Force India deputy team principal Bob Fernley said Friday at the Malaysian Grand Prix. We are literally dotting the is and crossing the ts on the commercial side and if it takes a week, that is fine, if it takes a couple of weeks, so be it -- it will happen. We are very confident `Checo will be with us next year, and we have never deviated from that.Perez had expected the deal to be finalized before the current Asian swing of the season in Singapore-Malaysia-Japan, and said he was losing patience with negotiations. At the moment Im just concentrating on one team, said Perez, who is eighth in the drivers standings with two podium finishes this season. There are some other options on the table, quite interesting options.I hope that it works out with one team, and if it doesnt, then by next week obviously we will have to look at something else.Perez has been linked with moves to Renault -- which is in the market for an experienced driver and is yet to finalize either race seat for next season -- and Haas, which has close links with Ferrari, which would be the Mexicans dream move.I want to keep my career in F1 going. I cannot wait much longer, Perez said. I expect everything should be done by next week.Thankfully there is a lot of interest out there, makes you feel in a good position. Tigers boss Jason Taylor is backing James Tedesco for a Four Nations berth despite the star fullbacks time on the sidelines with a broken jaw. Matt Bosher Jersey .The 23-year-old was one of the in-form NRL players of 2016 before breaking his jaw in the tenth-placed Tigers loss to the Titans a fortnight ago.Kangaroos boss Mal Meninga is understood to be keen on taking Tedesco to England and Taylor told reporters on Saturday he wasnt surprised by the news.Hed be mad not to be interested and itd be a great opportunity for Teddy and he would handle it, theres no doubt about that, Taylor said.Itd be great for his experience.A timeframe has not been placed on Tedescos return to the field but the fullback has travelled to Auckland for Sundays match against the Warriors as a team morale-booster.Taylor said he expected Tedesco to be fit and firing sooner rather than later, but not soon enough to appear for the Tigers again in 2016.Even just having him here in training is important for the guys, Taylor said.Hes not going anywhere near that (NRL) stuff. Justin Bethel Jersey . Francis told several hundred members of the European Olympic Committees that when sport "is considered only in economic terms and consequently for victory at every cost . Authentic Atlanta Falcons Jerseys .C. -- When North Carolina freshman Ryan Switzer reported to training camp in August he was a little miffed to learn he was third on the depth chart at punt returner. http://www.cheapfalconsjerseysonsale.com/?tag=matt-bryant-jersey-sale . Schenn scored the game-winning goal and added two assists to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday. Whether you watched the Firestone 600 unfold from the cockpit of an IndyCar, from atop a war wagon in the pits, from the grandstands at Texas Motor Speedway or from the comfort of your living room, it was an involving experience. There were times during 177 laps of sometimes frantic competition Saturday night when the action looked straight out of 1999, with a four-wide pack that looked more Indy Racing League than Verizon IndyCar Series. On other occasions, James Hinchcliffe gapped the field like a driver could and often would in the USAC or CART era.A series of late-race cautions set up a nine-lap sprint to the finish that some observers described as the best racing youll see all year, while others viewed it as Russian roulette with four-wheeled missiles. In that final run to the checkered flag, Graham Rahals car bounced around like a pinball between other machines, but he maintained control and kept his right foot pinned to the throttle. He hunted down Hinchcliffe, darted to the inside in Turn 3 on the last lap to take the lead for the first time all night, and held on through Turn 4 and the dogleg to cross the line 0.0080 seconds ahead in the closest IndyCar finish in TMS history. And Texas is definitely a track with plenty of IndyCar history. After the race, the drivers looked like they were experiencing a mixture of joy and relief. If watching a race is a nail-biting experience from outside the car, it must be even worse from the cockpit. We put ourselves in some pretty precarious situations tonight and everybody came out OK, admitted Hinchcliffe. Nobody did anything stupid, and everybody played nice, very respectful.Oh, that was so much fun, exclaimed Tony Kanaan in a television interview immediately after the finish. I had to dig into my hard drive and remember pack racing again. Its always a pleasure to race like that.It was really intense, he added later. Im not used to that, but I think it was just the nature of the product that we created for this race. We kind of went away from a pack race a long time ago, and we kind of migrated back just because it was very different circumstances today.Kanaan was referring to the fact that Saturday nights action was actually the resumption of a race that was scheduled for June 11, then started and run for 71 laps on June 12 on a muggy afternoon before another Texas-sized thunderstorm set in. The IndyCar rulebook dictated that the race restart from the point it was red-flagged, rather than begin anew. It also required for cars to start the night race set up the way they were back in June, in the higher downforce trim of an afternoon race.Despite the extra downforce, a full-fledged pack race never really broke out. But the frantic shuffling between Rahal, Hinchcliffe, Kanaan, Simon Pagenaud and Helio Castroneves in the closing laps certainly brought back memories of those days -- the kind of memories that excite some fans and terrify others. The difference, according to the drivers, is that they were being forced to lift for the corners and balance the car, rather than just floor it and steer. Its a lot different than what it used to be, said winner Rahal. Its not just flat-out easy pack racing anymore. I mean, you were lifting a heck of a lot in traffic, but the way these cars suck up nowadays, the draft is huge so it just makes the racing awesome. This is why I wish we had more mile-and-a-half tracks on the schedule, added Hinchcliffe. This is a lot of fun for us. People have got to pedal the car, its not just wide-open racing the whole stint like it was in days past. The last time an IndyCar Series event created the kind of social media buzz that came out of Texas was the race at Auto Club Speedway in June 2015. Coincidentally, Rahal won that race, too.Rahal drives a Honda-powered car for a team co-owned by his father, three-time Indy car championship winner Bobby Rahal. As a parent, a team owner, ex-driver, and even ex- acting CART series CEO, nobody has more perspective on an event like Texas than the elder Rahal. Robert Alford Jersey. With the day-to-day operations of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing managed by others, Bobby Rahal wasnt present at Texas Saturday night. Like many fans, he monitored the race via timing and scoring on his cell phone, before finally seeking out a television to watch the crucial final laps.Through the filter of a lifetime in racing, Rahal liked what he saw.It was a great race, and the drivers at the front drove very, very well in very close quarters, he observed. I think maybe theyre maybe not getting as much credit as they should be getting, because there is truly not much margin for error, yet those guys were able to race for lap after lap in very tight confines or formation. They were able to run to the end and it got people talking. All you need to do is look at social media -- everybody is going crazy, as they did at Fontana last year. Obviously that kind of racing strikes a nerve with people in a good way.But did it make Rahal nervous watching his kid -- admittedly, Graham Rahal is a man of 27 who is mature beyond his years -- out there in that environment? It is stressful for any parent watching their child out there, Bobby Rahal said. But he was racing with good guys he could trust like Hinchcliffe, Kanaan and Simon. You get farther back in the pack and you get guys you wouldnt trust as far as you can throw them. At least when you are up front, youre running with guys that understand it and drive responsibly. Its obviously stressful and exciting, however you want to describe it, he added. I was just pleased that everybody respected each other and raced well. Its obviously a younger mans sport. Thats not for the faint of heart, to be very clear. Theres a lot of fortitude and judgment that these guys have to race like that and maybe they are not being celebrated enough.Ironically, many people think of drivers like Bobby Rahal and those from earlier generations as heroes for surviving their era. Some believe racing a Formula 2 car with a tub made out of crinkly aluminum at the Nurburgring Nordschleife in the 1970s like Bobby did must be far more dangerous than running within inches of another car (and sometimes touching) at 220 mph at a SAFER Barrier-padded track like Texas.Bobby Rahal admits that drivers of his era faced a different kind of danger. When I drove, [the racing] wasnt that close, he said. But it was just different. In my day, the cars were a lot less safe and the tracks were a lot less safe. So there were risks from a different angle, so to speak. We had other risk factors that weighed into the equation far more than they do today. Thats not to say you wont have bad situations today, but the odds are a lot more in the drivers favor today than they were 20-25 years ago, let alone 50 years ago.Outsiders may question whether the IndyCar Series is flirting with disaster by running a car specification that still occasionally produces pack racing. But as a parent, entrant and racing enthusiast, Bobby Rahal is comfortable with what he sees.I think the officials have got a pretty good handle on what they need out of the car; its produced some pretty good racing, and there will be some changes for the future that should make it even better, he said. There were some races at Texas that werent very good because of the tire degradation and light downforce and the drivers were just hanging on. This year, it was interesting that the guys that didnt change tires near the end -- Graham and Hinchcliffe -- still finished 1-2, and new tires didnt make the difference. You have to give them some congratulations for coming up with an aero setting that obviously works pretty well. CHICAGO -- The Los Angeles Angels arent nearly where they want to be. Genard Avery Jersey . At least theyre making progress. Mike Trout had two hits, including the go-ahead single in the seventh inning, to lead the Angels to a 7-5 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday night. Los Angeles bullpen pitched 5 2-3 scoreless innings for the win, and helped the Angels to their first consecutive victories since beating the Tigers three straight April 19-21. They also improved to 6-13 on the road. Their seven runs were the most since they scored eight in a 10-8 loss April 29 at Oakland. "Theyre all important," said Brendan Harris, who had three hits and a home run. "So if we can get two in a row and just get a little momentum, and everybody can exhale a little bit, its going lend itself better to really getting on a roll to really get going as we get into May." The Angels got their second win in a row thanks to a big third inning when they scored four times, and a bullpen that helped Los Angeles survive after expected starter Tommy Hanson was put on the restricted list early Friday. In his first start of the season, Barry Enright replaced Hanson, lasting 3 1-3 innings, giving up four hits and five runs. Relievers Mark Lowe, Michael Kohn (1-0), Dane De La Rosa and Ernesto Frieri then combined to blank the White Sox, who have lost four of six. Lowe relieved Enright and worked 1 2-3 scoreless innings, Kohn went an inning, De La Rosa two, then Frieri finished by striking out the side in the ninth for his sixth save in seven tries. "I think the length that we needed, plus the effectiveness, those guys stepped up big," manager Mike Scioscia said. Los Angeles, which won Thursday in Houston despite an umpiring error that led to a two-game suspension for crew chief Fieldin Culbreth, fell behind early. Alejandro De Aza gave the White Sox a 1-0 lead in the first with a leadoff home run. The home run was De Azas seventh of the season and seventh career leadoff homer. Hes done it three times this season, including on Wednesday at New York. De Aza is the first Chicago player to start consecutive games with a home run since Kenny Lofton in July 2002. The Angels scored four times in the third to take a 4-1 lead. Albert Pujols had a two-run double and Mark Trumbo an RBI single. Los Angeles built a 5-1 lead after Harris homered in the fourth, but the White Sox rallied for four runs in the bottom half of the inning to tie it. After that, the Los Angeles bullpen stifled the White Sox. Because of Hansons status and injuries to the Angels bullpen, De La Rosa figured Friday might be a long night. "When I do get the ball Im willing to throw however many innings they actually need me," he said. In the seventh, Hank Conger reached on Conor Gillaspies error to start the inning and scored on Trouts sharp single to right off reliever Matt Lindstrom that gave the Angels a 6-5 lead. J.B. Shuck then scored on a passed ball. "We battled back and you give them multiple opportunities and youre going to pay for it," White Sox manager Robin Ventura said. "Thats just the name of it right there. You just cant give these guys a lot of opportunities." In six-plus innings, Chicago starter Dylan Axelrod allowed six runs and seven hits. Axelrod (0-3) left after Gillaspies error in the seventh. "The whole game, I felt really good. Its just an unfortunate thing that they got some runs in the third. Thats the frustrating part, where you feel great out there and still give up some runs," Axelrod said. "I cant be that disappointed in my effort because I felt I executed pretty well and they just happened to score." Scioscia, meanwhile, saw his offence score seven runs and his bullpen finish off a needed win, both of which are some of "the components that you need to start to build momentum." "It feels good to get this one and move onto tomorrow," he said. NOTES: Scioscia was asked Friday if owner Arte Moreno needed to give him a public vote of confidence and said "not for what I do. DETROIT -- Francisco Rodriguezs rough ninth inning hurt the Detroit Tigers in the AL wild-card race. Timothe Luwawu Jersey .Paulo Orlando hit a tying, two-run double and Eric Hosmer followed with a three-run homer against Rodriguez, capping a ninth-inning comeback Saturday that led the Royals over the Tigers 7-4.Detroits five-game winning streak was stopped, and the Tigers dropped a half-game behind Baltimore for the second AL wild card berth. Its a bad position to fail the way that I failed, Rodriguez said. Just unacceptable. This one hurts, big time. I let my team down.Given a 4-2 lead, Rodriguez (3-4) allowed singles to Alex Gordon and Hunter Dozier before Orlandos double. Cheslor Cuthbert walked and Hosmer hit his 24th homer.Weve got eight games left. This is going to be a dogfight, Tigers manager Brad Ausmus said. We lost this one, but that doesnt mean we cant come back tomorrow and win.Ausmus did not consider replacing Rodriguez after Orlandos double. Rodriguez blew a save for the fifth time in 49 opportunities.Frankie had an off day, Ausmus said. Youre going to have an off day from time to time. We wouldnt be here without him.Kansas City stopped a four-game losing streak, and its tragic number for elimination from postseason contention remained at three. The Royals would be the fourth straight World Series champion failing to reach the playoffs after winning a title the previous season. We want to finish strong, no matter where we are in the standings said Hosmer, who was hitless in four at-bats, including three strikeouts, before the home run. We have to be professional about what were doing and continue to play it through.Wade Davis (2-1) pitched a one-hit eighth and Kelvin Herrera, Kansas Citys seventh pitcher, got three straight outs for his 12th save in 15 chances, ending a game that took 3 hours, 50 minutes.Royals starter Yordano Ventura, 7-0 against Detroit in his career, allowed three runs and 10 hits in four innings, then left with back tightness. Kansas City said he is day to day.Tigers starter Daniel Norris, who stood to gain his first career victory over the Royals, gave up two runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings.Alcides Escobar hit a sacrifice fly in the second, but the Tigers went ahead 3-1 on third-inning RBI singles by Cameron Maybin and J.D. Martinez, and Maybins RBI single in the fourth.Kendrys Morales homered leading off the sixth, becoming Kansas Citys first player to reach 30 since Jermaine Dye hit 33 in 2000. Martinezs RBI single gave Detroit a 4-2 lead in the sixth.Give them credit for coming back against one of the best closers in the American League, Ausmus said.FREE PASSTigers slugger Miguel Cabrera drew an intentional walk in the fourth inning, his 14th of the season. Ireland bossed territory and possession but failed to repeat their Chicago heroics as they lost 21-9 to an ill-disciplined New Zealand in Dublin.Joe Schmidts side failed to convert a host of half-chances to add to the historic 40-29 win they achieved over New Zealand in the United States a fortnight ago, letting the All Blacks off the hook at the Aviva Stadium.New Zealand had Aaron Smith and Malakai Fekitoa sin-binned while conceding 14 penalties but still managed to escape with the win.Centre Fekitoa plundered two tries to add to his yellow card, with world player of the year Beauden Barrett back on form to claim a score of his own.Ireland boasted 67 per cent possession and 70 per cent territory, but only wound up with three penalty goals to show for it.The All Blacks were stung by their first-ever defeat to Ireland at Soldier Field. While New Zealand are hardly back on form, they did sneak out of Dublin with the win.A furious Ireland side felt Barretts match-winning try came courtesy of a forward pass, leaving captain Rory Best stalking referee Jaco Peyper for a television match official (TMO) review that never came.New Zealand unleashed full fury from the outset, retaining their kick-off and hurtling into every skirmish.Murray miscued his grubber to undermine an excellent Ireland turnover, and the All Blacks pounced.Barretts skimmed crossfield blast dropped sweetly for Fekitoa, who stepped inside Murray and bundled home. The out-of-sorts Aaron Smith threw a wayward pass to hand Ireland a chance next though, then knocking on at a lineout to boost the hosts hand still further.Jamie Heaslip powered over counterpart Kieran Read, and Sean OBrien thundered for the whitewash. The Leinster man surely saw himself scoring - but somehow Barrett hauled him in to hold him off the ground.CJ Stander bullocked on from the scrum, but was again denied over the line. Ireland opted for pragmatism, with Sexton converting a penalty to trail 7-3.Ireland then lost Robbie Henshaw, wiped out unwittingly by Sam Cane as he spun in a tackle. Sexton was left incredulous that Cane was not hit with more punishment than a simple penalty. What? A penalty? But the players on the stretcher, Sexton told referee Jaco Peyper.Henshaw raised a thumbs-up to the crowd as he departed on a motorised cart, with Leinsters greenhorn Garry Ringrose forced into the number 12 slot for just his second cap.Barrett chipped Irelands line, collected and fired off a no-look pass - but Andrew Trimble read it, and so nearly intercepted for what would have been a canter home. The Ulster wings knock-on denied that attack, but New Zealand were shortly on the scoresheet again. Philadelphia 76ers Jerseys. Barrett ghosted in off a scrum under worryingly little resistance, save Sextons last-gasp tackle that proved in vain. TMO Jon Mason responded in the affirmative when asked by Peyper Can you see grounding on the grass? when it appeared Sexton had rolled Barrett and stopped him dotting down.Scrum-half Aaron Smith then landed New Zealand in further hot water, conceding two quick penalties for offside and deservedly being sent to the sin-bin. Johnny Sexton pulled up with a hamstring injury and Paddy Jackson entered the fray, further disrupting Irelands backline.Ardie Savea replaced Sam Cane as the injuries piled up. Ireland wasted a gilt-edged platform with a cheap offside rolling a maul, then Jackson punted a penalty as the hosts had to settle for a three-point gain from the yellow card.CJ Stander bulldozed Fekitoa, but his night was quickly cut short due to a suspected concussion. The Munster star failed a head injury assessment (HIA) and did not return, with Josh Van der Flier into the action.Barrett was denied a second try when rightly judged to have knocked on in dislodging the ball from Jacksons grasp. And so the tie remained finely poised with New Zealand 14-6 ahead at the break.Fekitoa was sin-binned for a crude high tackle on Simon Zebo, leaving New Zealand down a man for the second time in the match.Ireland wasted two penalty lineouts, first from a cheap knock-on and then after Van der Flier forced an offload that simply was not on. OBrien blasted through Irelands line, Zebos grubber bamboozled the back-three and Rob Kearney swept in.Again New Zealand escaped without their try-line being breached though, as Kearney just could not send Donnacha Ryan home. Jackson fired over a penalty amid yet more Irish pressure, to leave New Zealand leading 14-9 on the hour. Finally Ireland were within one score - but then New Zealand turned it on. Fekitoa eased home thanks to Barretts fine inside-ball offload to TJ Perenara. Referee Peyper immediately awarded the try, much to Irelands fury. Replays suggested Barretts pass moved forward, but Peyper had few qualms in opting not to call on the TMO.Ireland captain Best took the hugely unusual step of approaching Peyper while Barrett lined up his conversion, breaking standard protocol of remaining behind the try-line. Theres too much at stake, said Best in asking for a referral before being waved away, as Peypers decision had to stand.
