Bullet Proof Review: Vinnie Jones Delivers Brass Knuckle Beat Downs

Vinnie Jones takes scowling and grimacing to new heights as he pummels lackeys to a pulp with brass knuckles. Bullet Proof has the veteran actor playing a ruthless drug lord commanding a gang of face-tattooed goons. He's chasing down a cheeky thief who stole his money, and drumroll please, pregnant wife in the escape. Bullet Proof initially gets adrenaline pumping with non-stop chases, gunplay, and whiplash camera work. You root for the likable protagonists to abscond with the ill-gotten spoils. A second act lull in the action brings the narrative to a crawl. The film picks up speed for the climax but never regains its original footing. To get more news about bulletproof zone, you can visit bulletproofboxs.com official website.

James C. Clayton stars and directs as the unnamed thief. He sneaks into a junkyard where the baddies stash guns and loads of cash. Bullets fly as he grabs the loot and steals a car. His timing sucks as another vehicle crashes into him. The thief pistol whips the driver then speeds off in that car. He pulls over on the highway to bandage a wound. The situation becomes more complex when he discovers the pregnant Mia (Lina Lecompte) hiding in the trunk.

Temple (Jones) arrives at the junkyard's aftermath. He's irate at the robbery but more concerned about Mia's betrayal. A beat down of the driver reveals Mia's desire to leave him. She won't raise her child with a brutal father. Temple calls in Skinny (Danny Mac) and his top enforcer, the Frenchman (Janvier Katabarwa), to recover his dear property. Meanwhile, the thief realizes that Mia heard his getaway plan. They become unlikely partners with Temple and his thugs hot on their trail.
Bullet Proof starts strong by wholly embracing its run and gun themes. Clayton, a character actor in his feature directorial debut, takes a page from Guy Ritchie's playbook with quick edits and sharp-angled shots. He effectively stages an action-packed open. I also got a kick out of the groovy score and soundtrack. Techno beats pound with classic rock as the junkyard becomes a war zone. The thief's wisecracking responses adds a tinge of comedy to the carnage.

Clayton and Lecompte have chemistry when the narrative gains traction. Fate throws them together at the wrong moment. The thief wants his money but feels guilty about Mia's situation. She's got ample reasons to run from Temple's wrath. The escape goes predictably awry when they have to stop at a clinic for pregnancy issues. It's not unrealistic to have every scumbag searching for them. But Bullet Proof loses steam with a subplot sidetrack about punks trying to steal the money. Clayton needed to stick with a pedal-to-the-metal philosophy. The second act has too much unnecessary filler.

Bullet Proof should only be viewed as a pure B-movie actioner. There's entertainment value as a check your brain at the door experience. Temple and the butt-kicking Frenchman work as sadistic antagonists. They leave a swath of bodies with indiscriminate killing. Clayton shows some promise here. I'm curious how he'd do with a bigger budget and better script.

Bullet Proof was previously titled Death Pursuit. It's produced by IndustryWorks Studios, Play by Play Entertainment, Peacemaker Filmworks, RAW Camera Company, Greendale Productions, and Grindstone Entertainment Group. Bullet Proof is currently available on demand and theatrically from Lionsgate.

7 Tips to Extend Your E-Bike Battery’s Life

What’s the real magic behind electric bikes? The battery. Batteries power virtually every part of your e-bike, fueling your most epic adventures and riding memories. It’s no surprise they’re one of the most important components on an electric bike. And why it’s SO important to keep your battery in tip-top shape. Whether you’re thinking of buying an e-bike or are already a seasoned e-biker, check out these battery health tips to enjoy your bike for years to come.To get more news about ebike battery charging, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

1. Hold It Sparky!
The safest way to charge is by first connecting the charger to the battery and THEN plugging it into the wall. This helps you get a proper connection before electricity starts flowing and prevents arcing. All Juiced batteries can be charged on or off the bike; it's totally up to you.

2. The Right Environment
Charge your battery in a dry, clean, and temperate area. Never charge in a damp or cluttered environment. Messy garages are the cause of many household accidents, so if it's a concern it may be time for some seasonal cleaning or charge the battery in a less cluttered location.

3. Top It Off
The best time to charge your bike is right before your ride. Never charge right after riding! You want to wait at least 30 minutes before charging to allow the battery to cool down. Remember to always check your voltage on your LCD before you roll out.
4. Set It, but Don’t Forget It
Set a timer to ensure you don’t forget to unplug the battery. You can use your cell phone to set a timer or even pick up an outlet timer at any hardware store. When the charger goes from red to green your battery is fully charged and you should unplug it. Unplug the charger from the wall and then unplug the charger from the battery.

5. Hibernation
If you’re not riding during the winter, it’s important to store your battery inside and at the right charge level. Keep your charge at 50% capacity when storing. The battery will self-discharge over time so if you’re not riding for two months or more be sure to check the charge every so often and charge back up to 50% when needed.
6. Safe Travels
Electric bikes are the ideal travel companion but remember to remove your battery from the frame using the key whenever transporting on a rack or truck bed. Water can damage your model’s electrical components, so be sure you use a waterproof cover while transporting if the forecast is rainy.

7. The 80/20 Rule
Ideally you want to keep your battery between 80% and 20% voltage. Use our voltage vs. percentage chart to know where your battery falls before charging. Check the voltage on your LCD or use our battery charge monitor to get an accurate read of how much power you are putting back into your battery every time!
Love your new e-bike? Make sure you show your love by taking care of your battery. In exchange, your battery will love you back with a longer life and more riding miles! Use these helpful tips to avoid range loss and get the most smiles out of your ride. For additional information on how to extend your battery life check out our video on battery health.

Marvels of Engineering (Fastest Bike in the World – Top 5)

Everyone wants to own fastest bike in the world but very few of them have these super bikes. Here I am going to discuss about the top 5 fastest bike in the world which is known for their excellent speed. These bike increases the personality of the rider. They provide us the feeling of not to stop.To get more news about fastest ebike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

5. Honda CBR 1100XX Blackbird – top speed: 190 mph The blackbird is a revival bike that left its glorious past to make a better one. With some little tweaks to the previous one launched in 1996, its back to its former glory, if not better. Packing an 1137 CC liquid cooled inline four cylindered engine, speed is at its beck and call. The higher the RPM the smoother this bike can go. Hitting 0-60 in about 2.8 seconds, the Honda CBR 1100XX Blackbird is a precision instrument meant for speed. What it may lack in ride quality it makes up for in build and reliability. It hits it the max power of 153 HP at 10000 RPM.
4. Kawasaki Ninja H2R – top speed: 222 mph

This one is another beast in the form of a bike. With a 998CC liquid cooled, 4 stroke , in-line four, DOHC, 16-valve engine this thing can go fast, and we mean fast! Due to its speed, Kawasaki managed to install an electronic rider support suite. It has the KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System), KEBC (Kawasaki Engine Brake Control) and KLCM (Kawasaki Launch Control Mode). These, apart from protection, keep the bike running smooth. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R hits 60 in a mere 2.5 seconds. Now that is fast! The bike hits it max power of 197.3 BHP at 11,000 RPM.
3. MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K – top speed: 227 mph
This bike is one of the most powerful production motorcycles. This beauty features the Rolls-Royce 250-C18 turbo shaft engine with a 2-speed semi-automatic transmission. This bike can get from 0-60 in just 2.5 seconds. That’s probably the time you took to finish reading this sentence at the normal pace of reading. Go ahead, try it. The MTT Turbine Superbike Y2K hits its max power of 320 HP at 52000 RPM.
2. Suzuki Hayabusa – top speed: 248 mph
1340cc. It is a four-cylinder, short-stroke, DOHC, 16-valve engine that truly lives up to its hype. The Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve ensures peak engine performance at all times. This bike gives you the leverage to tweak its settings to its optimal with the ride-by-wire system combined with the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector. The Suzuki Hayabusa hits 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and its clutch assists system, i.e. the Suzuki Clutch Assist System, helps reduce back torque. It hits its max power of 197 HP at 6750 RPM.
1. Dodge Tomahawk – top speed: 350 mph Even cars have a hard time keeping up with such raw speed. This superbike carries within it an 8277CC 10 valve, four stroke engine that is simply a dream. The dodge tomahawk has four wheels and each of them has its own suspension. Also, this is the same engine found in the Dodge Viper, (8.3-liter V10 Dodge Viper SRT10). The transmission on this bike is a two-speed manual toe shift and uses the traditional chain and sprocket system. The place that was supposed to house the headlights is actually a throttle intake and the bike also has a cooling system placed behind the intake manifold. The Dodge Tomahawk has no rival to this day, however, due to its four wheels and a few other reasons the bike isn’t certified for legal use in the USA. It can clock 0-60 somewhere in between 1.75 – 2.5 seconds and hits its max power of 500 HP at 5600 RPM.

E-bikes are affordable, practical and good for the planet

America has hosted its fair share of heavyweight transportation fights. To get more news about Fat Tire Electric Bikes, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Canals gave way to freight trains. Freight trains gave way to big rigs. Horses gave way to cars.

In one corner are those who swear, "Yes." They'll tell you on a cost-per-mile equivalent, bicycles powered by electric motors can get thousands of miles to the gallon compared to a typical gas-powered car. E-bikes also efficiently transport a rider from point A to B with zero carbon emissions, similar to an electric car but at a fraction of the price. They are the future, proponents say. Just wait and see.

“For years I’ve been saying the e-bike is going to be as ubiquitous as the smartphone,” said Mike Radenbaugh, founder and CEO of Rad Power Bikes, the largest U.S.-based e-bike company. “Everything we’re doing is to create a true car replacement … to help stoke this consumer revolution that’s underway but has not hit the tipping point yet.”
In the other corner are no shortage of detractors. Some cite safety; studies suggest higher rates of serious injury for e-bike riders. Others note environmental concerns about battery production and disposal. Perhaps most prominent are those who say e-bikes just don't fit in on American roadways, where their typical top speeds of about 20 mph can irritate slower pedal-powered bicyclists and faster car drivers alike.
E-bike sales are soaring
In 2001, the two-wheeled, all-electric, self-balancing Segway launched. At the time, inventor Dean Kamen delivered an infamous prediction to Time magazine that the vehicle would “be to the car what the car was to the horse and buggy.”

That never came to pass. By the time Segways fell out of production two years ago, just 140,000 units had been sold, Fast Company reported.
The e-bike has already vastly surpassed those figures. Buoyed by COVID-19 lockdowns and high gas prices, 880,000 e-bikes were imported into the United States in 2021 alone, according to the Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA), a trade group that promotes “micromobility” devices. Imports are expected to ease just slightly in 2022 to 750,000, meaning there will still be millions of the vehicles on U.S. roads and trails.

Ed Benjamin, founder and chairman of LEVA, believes the ceiling could be much higher. He’s traveled the world as a professional in the e-bike space since the 1990s and has come to see them dominate the landscape in East Asian and European cities. He calculates there are more than 350 million in use worldwide.

“People ask me, ‘Is (a transformation) ever going to happen?’ and I kind of chuckle,” Benjamin said. “It’s been happening, but in the United States we’re not used to it.”

To Benjamin, the fact that populations worldwide are trending toward cities, including in the U.S., means that electric bikes, scooters, skateboards and similar devices aren’t going anywhere. Even as some device-sharing experiments with e-scooters petered out in U.S. cities in recent years, overall sales are expected to continue to grow.

“Micromobility is a reality and it’s becoming more of one. The need is being established by billions of human beings moving into ever-denser cities. That’s the underlying fact,” he added.

In the U.S., transportation enthusiasts and climate change experts mostly champion the technology. Ari Matusiak, CEO of Rewiring America, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit promoting electrification of the energy and transportation sectors, sees e-bikes and similar technology as crucial to reducing carbon dioxide emissions and slowing climate change.

The country’s transportation sector, still dominated by gas-powered cars, is the largest emitter of greenhouse gasses. The transition to electric cars and trucks will help lower emissions, but those vehicles are still relatively expensive and come with significant consumer reservations about where and how to charge.

Polis says Colorado will send hundreds of helmets, body armor to Ukraine

Arguing that saving even just one life is worth it, the Polis administration said Colorado is sending hundreds of ballistic helmets and scores of body armor to Ukraine, which is ferociously fighting the Russian invasion. To get more news about bulletproof tactical helmet, you can visit bulletproofboxs.com official website.

The Polis administration said the Colorado Department of Public Safety alone is donating more than 750 helmets and 80 sets of body armor to the Eastern European nation that's fighting for its survival against the vastly bigger, more-equipped Russian army. These are surplus equipment that have exceeded the state's standard life-cycle but which are serviceable, the administration said.

“Colorado is doing everything we can to oppose the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and supplying body armor will help save lives of brave Ukrainians fighting to protect their freedom. We have surplus body armor sitting on shelves, and we know that it can urgently be used to help stop Putin and save Ukraine,” Gov. Jared Polis said in a statement.
The Polis administration also asked other law enforcement agencies to donate their surplus body armor and ballistic helmets by 3 p.m. Monday. The administration is only accepting donations from law enforcement agencies and not the general public to ensure the armor and helmets meet safety standards.

“If even one life of a citizen soldier who is defending their country is saved, then this time-sensitive effort will have been worth it," Stan Hilkey, the state's public safety executive director, said in a statement.

“The Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is proud to participate in the State of Colorado’s efforts to help the people of Ukraine,” added Laura Clellan, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Polis's office said Colorado will work with "partners" to quickly deliver the materials overseas. A spokesman for the administration said details of the delivery are still being finalized.

"We stand with a free and independent Ukraine and want to do everything we can to make [Russian President Vladimir] Putin pay for this act of aggression," Polis told Colorado Politics this afternoon.

Polis earlier asked state agencies and higher education institutions to divest from Russian-owned assets. The administration also pulled out its Colorado office from the Russian consulate in Houston. Polis also promised a warm welcome to Ukrainian refugees, should they arrive in Colorado.

The future of smart homes: how we might be living in 10 years' time

When his children have been watching TV for too long, an automated system notifies Chris and gives him the option of turning off the screen remotely or sending his kids a message. To get more news about smart homes, you can visit securamsys.com official website.

"I'll send a message to say 'what you are you doing? You've been sitting around for too long,'" Chris, who lives in Queensland with his family of four, says.

When data gathered from local weather stations indicate that rain will strike the eastern side of the house in exactly five minutes, the system tells him what windows on that side are open.

If he's not home and an intruder visits, a hidden smart speaker erupts with an aggressive barking noise.Technology that automates or remotely controls various household functions, from lighting to security, appears to be going mainstream, helped by a pandemic that has seen us spending more time at home, and more money on comforts like air fryers and smart speakers.

Chris's house is an extreme example, but locks, lights and doorbells that can be controlled through a phone and programmed to perform tasks automatically are becoming commonplace.

According to some, these are the leading edge of a dramatic change in our homes' relationship with technology.

This year's influential Consumer Electronics Show (CES) tech expo in Las Vegas saw a rush to capitalise on the trend: big brands launched a range of connected devices, from taps controlled by voice commands to video-streaming dog doors that open at a pet's approach.
The market research company Telsyte predicts the average Australian household will add more than 10 connected devices by 2025.

If current demand is any guide, most of these new devices will be smart power outlets, speakers and light bulbs, as well as video doorbells, remote-activated locks, and surveillance cameras.

But this is just the start, according to the smart home industry, which is pushing a new concept: "contextual awareness".

This is where the home environment adapts to the desires and routines of its inhabitants: alarm clocks read the owner's schedule and set themselves accordingly, health sensors detect signs of illness and automatically order medicine, software dims lights and plays music according to a person's habits — or even their apparent mood.On the Facebook group "Home Automation Australia" (HAA), he and 9,000 other members share knowledge and trade jargon-heavy questions referencing obscure products and protocols.

Created in 2017, HAA tripled its members over six months last year, according to one of the group's admins, Brent Wesley.

Many members work in IT and most are men aged 25-54.

"Most people seem to be joining for much the same reasons: they are saving energy, improving securing, and adding convenience," Brent says.

Pool pumps can automatically turn on during the middle of the day, when a rooftop solar array is producing excess energy. Security cameras can be trained to distinguish between a nosy dog and an intruder. Light switches can be activated by voice command. Blinds can rise with the Sun. TVs can spring to life when a person flops on a couch.
