New Jordans 2016, The Katrina Air Jordan 3 was a special edition Air Jordan 3 that was designed by Jordan Brand exclusively for a charity auction to support the relief efforts from Hurricane Katrina. The Air Jordan 3 "Katrina" was originally auctioned off in 2006 to help raise funds for Hurricane Katrina Victims. Similar to the initial images of the "Fire Red" and "Black Cement" 3 that surfaced, the "Katrina" colorway sees its elephant print treated in black and white. Tumbled leather coats the entire upper as red detailing is placed on the midsole's heel, behind the tongue, and on the tongue's Jumpman logo.
New Jordans 2017, The creation of the Nike Air Jordan 3 is the first time the world got a glimpse of the Michael Jordan and Tinker Hatfield duo. Not only that, but Nike introduced the famous Jumpman logo, ditching the wings logo that was on the Jordan 1 and Jordan 2. Released in 1988, the Air Jordan 3 would become one of Michael Jordan's personal favorite basketball sneakers. Jordan also went on win almost every award imaginable in a single season. NBA All-Star MVP, NBA Slam-Dunk Champion, NBA Steal Champion, NBA Scoring Champion, NBA Defensive Player of the Year and NBA MVP. The magical works of Tinker Hatfield might be the reason why MJ won all these awards. Thanks Mr. Hatfield!
