The Best Beauty Looks From the 2022 Venice Film Festival

Each year, the Venice Film Festival provides an aesthetic rival to springtime’s Cannes—a second opportunity to celebrate a selection of buzzy forthcoming films with a show of equally cinematic glamour. This year’s 79th iteration was no exception, delivering a selection of sleek and stylized beauty moments that had onlookers forgetting summer’s easy air-dries in want of all things prettily polished. To get more news about Japan Zone, you can visit our official website.

For the festival’s opening fête, White Noise’s Jodie Turner-Smith played up her sparkle-strewn gown with a full lid of onyx eyeshadow and a quartet of finger waves, those edged in rows of rhinestones. Tessa Thompson’s wet-look mane did not sacrifice in texture, a single tendril serving to highlight the carmine waves that fell amply down her back, kept in place with the help of an overlaid necklace. Then, jury president Julianne Moore balanced her splashy, sheer, and refractive Alaïa with a demure low ponytail bound in a black bow, cementing the hair ribbon as one of the year’s most enduring finishing touches. And Grace Elizabeth leaned into the gamine charm of her abbreviated lengths, parting her raven chop deeply, before gelling it immaculately in place—save for a section of bangs, which offered a femme fatale effect.

The Cannes Film Festival 2022 has arrived, and true to form, it finds cinema’s biggest stars traveling from near and far for film premieres and after-parties seeped in glamour. A sea of glittering dresses and smart suiting, it’s a major event for fashion to be sure. But all the best dressed attendees see to it that their beauty looks are just as impactful—if not more.

There are the stars who embrace a certain timelessness, like Julianne Moore with her cascade of loose waves and a russet smoky eye that brought out her signature crimson mane, or Rebecca Hall who sported a tousled sun-kissed pixie with a stamp of red lipstick that effortlessly captured the Gallic spirit. Then, of course, there are those who go a bit bolder to unforgettable effect. Viola Davis dazzled with a crystal-embellished flower hair brooch tucked into her Afro, while Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone wore a dramatic set of thick onyx wings. Ever the luminous mother-to-be, Adriana Lima’s pregnancy glow was evident above her black Balmain gown with a strategic cut-out drawing attention to her growing baby bump. Here, all the best beauty looks from Cannes Film Festival 2022 thus far.

The Amazing Ladies Who Inspire the World's Most Beautiful Women

The head behind "The Rachel" and PEOPLE's pick for 2016's Most Beautiful doesn't find strength in just one astounding female; she is inspired by all of them.To get more news about Domestic high-quality goods, you can visit our official website.

"The women that inspire me are the ones who have careers and children; why would I want to limit myself? I've always wanted to have children, and I would never give up that experience for a career. I want to have it all," Aniston, 47, told Vanity Fair in 2005.
Underwood has always cited fellow country star Reba McEntire as an inspiration, and that comes down to the singer's touring style as well.

"Obviously, she changes wardrobes, and she's all about putting on a big show. In that way, you know, we definitely wanted to do that, as well," Underwood, 33, told GAC about how McEntire's 1990s shows continue to shape her tours today.
Palmer has royalty in her corner. The Scream Queens star told PEOPLE that Queen Latifah has always "been a big part" of her career and has offered her support for years.

This means Palmer received some insider advice before starting BET talk show Just Keke: "She said I [should] just be myself – my natural personality. She said I was a natural at it."
When Viola Davis won her historic Emmy for How to Get Away with Murder it was a win for Good, too. Davis, a longtime inspiration for the Minority Report actress, called out Good's impressive work in her acceptance speech.

"I have not only been following her career as a fan since I was 8 and now get to watch her completely transform in her new movie Cake, I have gotten to have real conversations with such a real heart, made my entire year,” Gomez recently gushed on Instagram about this year's Most Beautiful choice.

"It's like I see the world with new eyes: Not only is this my life to live, this is for my daughter,” Milian shared in her series Christina Milian Turned Up. "If you really go into it with the mentality that you can do it and this has all been placed into your life for a reason at this time, then, hey, you gotta go with it."

"When you do certain roles, you regularly draw inspiration from other people," Vergara said to El Herado. "In this case, I did so with my aunt – though she is not as tawdry, not as scandalous as how I embody her on the series."

She added, "I hope to have that same goal, you know, just to create opportunities for other women to tell their stories, because women aren't just girlfriends and wives, you know, in movies, to big leading men. Those are great roles, but I feel like women are much more complex than that."

15 Of The Most Beautiful Women Of 1900s Edwardian Era

With the Edwardian era, which lasted from 1900 to 1912, came many life improvements that we still use today, such as electricity, cars, and vacuum cleaners. Still, it has also given us a fair share of bizarre facts, most of them concerning women. To get more news about HD video, you can visit our official website.

For instance, the beautiful women of the Edwardian Era used Belladonna, a highly poisonous and even lethal plant, drops to make their pupils dilate, making the women look aroused (I'm not making this up, promise). They have also smeared their faces with lead cream to make them look pale. Oh, and a faint smell of dame's sweat was deemed very desirable by young gentlemen and even got a name as 'bouquet de corsage' (literally 'smells of the bodice'). And to top it all of, for a brief time in the Edwardian era, nipple piercing was the biggest trend (again, check it if you don't believe me).
Lily Elsie was a popular English actress and singer during the Edwardian era, best known for her starring role in the hit London premiere of Franz Lehár's operetta The Merry Widow.

Dame Gladys Constance Cooper was an English actress whose career spanned seven decades on stage, in films and on television. Beginning on the stage as a teenager in Edwardian musical comedy and pantomime, she was starring in dramatic roles and silent films before the beginning of the First World War.

Marie Doro was an American stage and film actress of the early silent film era. She was first noticed as a chorus-girl by impresario Charles Frohman, who took her to Broadway, where she also worked for William Gillette of Sherlock Holmes fame, her early career being largely moulded by these two much-older mentors. Although generally typecast in lightweight feminine roles, she was in fact notably intelligent, cultivated and witty. (source)

Minnie Brown was an actress and performer who spent from 1902 to 1918 entertaining in Europe, Russia, and the Far East. She was part of the circle of very successful African-American women performers who were based in Russia during those years who included Ollie Burgoyne, Pearl Hobson, and Georgette Harvey. (source)

At the age of three, she performed on stage with her mother, Margaret Fealy, and went on to make her Broadway debut in the 1900 production of Quo Vadis, again with her mother. Afterwards, Fealy toured England with William Gillette in Sherlock Holmes from 1901 to 1902. Between 1902 and 1905, she frequently toured with Sir Henry Irving's company in the United Kingdom and by 1907 was the star in touring productions in the United States. (source)

Aida Overton Walker, aka "The Queen of the Cakewalk", was an African-American vaudeville performer, actress, singer, dancer, choreographer, and wife of vaudevillian George Walker. She appeared with her husband and his performing partner Bert Williams, and in groups such as Black Patti's Troubadours. She was also a solo dancer and choreographer for vaudeville shows such as Bob Cole, Joe Jordan, and J. Rosamond Johnson's The Red Moon (1908) and S. H. Dudley's His Honor the Barber (1911). (source)

Ethel Warwick was a British stage actress. She was known for The Bigamist (1916), The Magistrate (1921) and Bachelor's Baby (1932). During her teenage years, before becoming an actress, Ethel was a nude model, posing for, among others, James McNeil Whistler. (source)

Single bouquet in memory of 'lovely' woman found dead on Stretton roadside

Residents of a quiet Stretton street have spoken of their shock and worry after a woman was found dead. Officers from Staffordshire Police were called to the incident in Stretton yesterday morning, Saturday, October 8, at around 7.25am.To get more news about Watch online in the domestic area, you can visit our official website.

A police cordon was put in place at the junction of Craythorne Road and Bitham Lane where police and paramedics were joined by a forensics team who placed a tent around the woman on the side of the road. The woman was pronounced dead by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service, and the police are carrying out an investigation as to what happened.

Bitham Lane reopened yesterday afternoon and today was used by hundreds of runners competing in the Burton Albion Community Trust 10km run. But for some residents, the shock of what happened so close to them is still hard to understand.Linda Wainwright, 57, lives on Craythorne Road and said: "One of my friends knew the woman. She said she was a genuinely lovely woman, but that's all I've heard. It's awful news and I just pray for her family."

Graeme Collins, 61, who lives on Bitham Lane, said: "A woman has died and it's extremely sad. It must be terrible for her family and I just hope it isn't anything suspicious as to why she passed."A single bouquet of flowers has been placed at the site where the police tent once stood. The Jinny Nature Trail is now also open for the public after it too was closed for parts of yesterday.

The woman's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers at this time. Anyone with any information should contact us on 101,

You’re Not The Most Beautiful Woman

Social media has become a place where couples declare their love for one another and exchange heartfelt messages for millions of people to see, but not all love letters are the same — or even sweet for that matter. A writer named Solomon Buchi attempted to express his appreciation for his future wife, but his message and delivery caused him to go viral for all the wrong reasons. To get more news about Watch online in the domestic area, you can visit our official website.

“You’re not the most beautiful woman; neither are you the most intelligent woman, but I’ve chosen to never find perfection in anyone else,” he wrote in an Instagram caption. “I put my gaze on you, and with that commitment, we would mold ourselves for ourselves. Our perfection is in our commitment.”

The caption continues, “Stating that you’re not the most beautiful/intelligent might sound like it’s not a compliment, yeah? But it’s a realistic base for real love. Acknowledging that my woman isn’t the best, but I’m not looking for the best. I was looking for you and I found you. There’s no best, there is just someone you choose and see the best in them. This to me is the real love. Not the one that consoles itself in the faux reality that their partner is the most good looking, most intelligent, most successful person in the world. That’s disingenuous and doesn’t give room for love to thrive. My love for you isn’t about you being the best, it’s about you being you. There’s just no other you. I love you, ayanfe. I’m committed to you. I miss you so much!!! But my love for you is stronger than distance.Struggling to pick your mouth up off the floor? I know, I struggled too. Some people call this a backhanded compliment, while others refer to it as negging—verbal emotional abuse with the intent of lowering someone’s self-esteem.

Reading this was embarrassingly familiar and brought me back to a time I was riding in the car with my ex. I made a comment about me being beautiful and I’ll never forget when he interjected, unsolicited, and said “No, you’re not beautiful, but you’re cute.” That should have been a red flag for me, but my self-esteem at the time, in many ways, agreed with his objection.

And it didn’t stop there. As the relationship progressed, so did the negging. It turned into statements like, “I could be with so many finer girls, but I chose you,” to “I could have been with a fine light-skinned girl, but they’re too high-maintenance. I chose you because you’re not too fine and you’re low maintenance.”

nikki-bella-bridal-style

It’s not often that your own wedding celebration kicks off with a cover photoshoot, but that was exactly the case for Nikki Bella, who married Artem Chigvintsev on August 26, 2022, just three weeks after spending the day on set with Brides. “The shoot came at the perfect time. It felt like a celebration of being a bride,” the former WWE champion and television personality says. “I had just had my bridal shower, I came out with you guys, I started my bachelorette party the next day, and then I went to Paris and got married. So you were all a part of my three week celebration.”To get more news about japanese shemale site, you can visit our official website.

The couple’s three week-long celebration culminated with a wedding in Paris, France, a last-minute pivot the couple made when their original plans of a ceremony and reception near their home in California’s Napa Valley fell through. “Artem and I went to Paris on a secret vacation when we were first dating and didn't want the world to know we were a couple yet. After that, we always said, ‘Run away to Paris with me.’ It's always held a special place in our hearts, and when Napa wasn't working out, we were like, ‘We just need to run away to Paris. Let’s make it work.’ It was literally a fairy-tale ending.”
That fairy-tale wedding, which will be documented in a four-part series—Nikki Bella Says I Do will air on E! in early 2023—included four (yes, four) outfit changes. “The cool thing about being a bride is the fashion journey you get to go on,” Nikki says. “This is your time to shine and be a star. Sometimes I feel like some people are scared to express themselves in fashion, so they hold back in real life. When it's your wedding, it's time to be fearless.”
“Fearless” also just so happens to be the perfect way to describe Nikki, both as a bride and in her everyday life. After spending the bulk of her 20s and early 30s in the ring as a WWE wrestler, in 2021, Nikki—along with her twin sister Brie, and winemaker Ryan Hill—launched Bonita Bonita, a private label with the Hill Family Estate that had been a work in progress for years. The preparation for and the launch of that venture also came during a time of major change in Nikki’s personal life. In 2018, she ended a six-year-long relationship and called off her wedding; the next year, she began a relationship with her now-husband, Artem, then got engaged and welcomed the couple’s first child, Matteo, a year later. “It's crazy for me to look back on the journey that brought me here. I never knew if I would make it down the aisle, but what I realized was that I just needed to be at this point in my life,” Nikki says. “That is what makes me a wife, and a good wife. I’m finally ready for that.”

Her wedding day—and what she’d look like as a bride—is something that Nikki admits she’s been thinking about for as long as she can remember, so defining her bridal style was a process that, quite literally, began in childhood. “My Nana has a wall of family wedding photos in her house, and I would always go and look at my great grandmothers’ wedding dresses,” Nikki remembers. “There was just something so iconic and timeless about their gowns. I always knew that, on my wedding day, I wanted to wear something that would leave my grandkids staring at pictures of me thinking that they’d want to wear it at any age, too.”

That doesn’t mean Nikki’s style remained static, though. Over the years, her sartorial preferences—much like her personal life—evolved. A self-proclaimed “Parisian at heart,” Nikki says that the looks she gravitates towards have always been inspired by the City of Love in some way, but admits that her younger self was drawn to sexier silhouettes. “Growing up, my Nana always taught my sister and I that there’s power in being an elegant woman. We've gone in different directions at times,” she laughs, “but something I always wanted to bring into my bridal outfits was elegance.”

The sex toy industry is one of few industries that's both a grower and a shower. It's worth billions of dollars and is constantly expanding with new products. However, getting to this point wasn't easy, and it took a lot of time.To get more news about 亚洲成a人片在线观看中文, you can visit our official website.

When you think of sex toys, you probably think of some gizmo or gadget that runs on batteries, has a USB charger, or is somehow linked to an app, but in reality, sex toys have been around for centuries.

It all started in 29,000 BC when Neanderthals in the Swabian Jura region of what is now Germany began carving rocks into phallic shapes. We don't know for sure whether they were using them as sex toys, for fertility ceremonies, or whether they just thought it was hilarious to carve penis rocks, but we do know that they paved the way for the modern-day sex toy industry.

Sex toy creation got a little more innovative—and a lot weirder—in 500 BC, when ancient Greeks started whipping up fake dongs using all kinds of materials. Some were made out of brass or stuffed leather. Some were, for some reason, made out of old loaves of bread. They called them olisbokollikes, which is almost as hard to pronounce as it is to wrap your mind around. While we don't recommend you try that, it's definitely a waste-conscious and budget-friendly way to go. Those freaky Greeks also pioneered lube by using olive oil.

By 1300 AD the sex toy industry was really taking off, especially in ancient China, which innovated Ben Wahh Balls filled with animal semen, cock rings made of goat eyelids, and double-sided dildos. What a time to be alive! The actual word dildo wasn't coined until around 1400 AD, though, during the Italian renaissance. It stems from dilett o, which means pleasure.

In the 1600s, French sailors pioneered sex dolls by bringing "women" made of straw on long, lonely trips, calling them "dames de voyage." By now, even Shakespeare is buzzing about sex toys, mentioning dildos by name in his play, "A Winter's Tale." Naughty, naughty!

In 1800s-era England, fragile men began labeling anxious or unhappy women with having hysteria. While we'd like to say this was a short-lived "medical diagnosis," it lasted well into the 1950s. Aiming to have these women relax, it was "treated" with intense genital stimulation, among other things.
Hysteria spread like wildfire, and doctors and their feeble hands couldn't keep up, so the story goes that they invented vibrating machines to make women orgasm with less effort. At the time they called them "manipulators," but we've come to know them as vibrators. The first "manipulator" was created by American doctor George Taylor, but Dr. Joseph Mortimer Granville created the first patent, disturbingly named Granville's Hammer.

A screenshot that purportedly shows a Daily Mirror headline reading: “Concerns grow over link between use of sex toys and heart attacks in women” is digitally altered - and the headline was never published by the UK news outlet. However, some people have shared the image as alleged proof that side effects of COVID-19 vaccines are being hidden. To get more news about 亚洲欧美在线综合图区, you can visit our official website.

The fake picture was shared on Facebook (here) alongside the caption: “Strange how everything BUT an experimental ‘vax’ with completely unknown, medium to longterm side-effects is to blame for the rash of heart attacks, blood clots and neurological disorders. I have heard climate change, air pollution etc.

Numerous other iterations of the image have been posted on Facebook (here, here and here) and Twitter (here, here and here), where it has been shared nearly 1,000 times in total.
However, the screenshot is fabricated and was not published by Daily Mirror, a newspaper in Britain. Reuters found no such article published on the Mirror’s website following an advanced Google search , but did find an article published at the same time on the same date, which was written by the same author and accompanied by the same image and caption (here). Its headline reads: “12 best Valentine’s Day sex toys: Must-have vibrators and more to gift yourself or your lover.”

A spokesperson for Reach PLC, owners of the Mirror, confirmed the screenshot was fake and was not written by the journalist attributed in the by-line.

They told Reuters via email: “This story was never published on a Reach owned site.”

The altered screenshot also contains a quote that has been falsely attributed to Ann Summers CEO Jacqueline Gold. It reads: “Ann summers CEO Jacqueline gold instructed for warning signs of ‘increased risk of heart attack’ on all 2022 sales of sex toys.”

Afew months ago, I was trying to get a desperately needed serotonin boost by filling my online shopping cart with novels at Indigo, a massive Canadian book retailer. After selecting a fantasy epic, the website prompted me with a few suggested purchases, including … a vibrator. To get more news about 国产成人牲交在线观看视频, you can visit our official website.

First of all: ouch. Second of all: What? But there, nestled under the Wellness tab among essential oil diffusers and gym totes, were indeed dozens of sex toys, all from the same place I buy slipper socks and Tatler magazine.

The Lelo Ora 3 vibrator—price tag $224— specifies that it simulates oral sex for women, never once actually using the words masturbate or orgasm. The Drop 3 Speed Massager, which looks exactly like a Beauty Blender, doesn’t even say where you should be using its vibration features.

CEO Heather Reisman has called Indigo a “cultural department store.” “[It’s] a name that helpfully underscores the Oprah-esque lifestyle the chain has begun pushing: safe, tasteful, stylish—and, of course, well read,” notes a 2014 Marketing magazine article. What’s unsaid here is the obvious: it is targeting an affluent, cis, female consumer. These days, along with your tastefully-designed vibrator, you can also buy vegan handbags and collagen elixirs.

Indigo is not alone. Nordstrom has a small “Feminine Products and Sexual Wellness” section, where you can purchase a vibrator that doubles as a chic necklace. Clothing retailer Nasty Gal—that of the original Girl Boss—offers a much larger selection, with everything from novelty erotic board games to faux-leather collars and leashes. Most infamously, Gwyneth Paltrow’s e-retail site Goop has sold jade eggs, a candle that smells like a vagina and vibrators. “We have always been really interested in sexual wellness as a really important pillar of wellness,” Paltrow told the New York Times last year.

It’s not a bad thing, at first glance, that sex toys are more widely available. For decades, it was unthinkable that anyone aside from able-bodied, heterosexual, cis men could enjoy sexual pleasure. And for some, buying your vibrator from a bookstore or a famous actress may seem a less intimidating prospect than going into a sex toy shop—not to mention a safer option in the middle of a global pandemic.

But this wider-spread availability isn’t necessarily a giant step forward for sex positivity. When masturbating is another thing we have to add into our wellness routine along with hot yoga and a ten-step face-care regime, it doesn’t feel progressive, and frankly, it doesn’t feel very sexy. Instead, it becomes yet another demand on our time—a goal that we have to fit in with all the others. Take a closer look at what kinds of toys are being sold, and to whom, and it also becomes clear that this sex toy proliferation is less about our sexual well-being and about selling product—while sanitizing out the actual sex.
