Richard C. Wyckoff PHILADELPHIA, PA Richard C. Wyckoff, 67, of Lambertville died on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at the Jeanes Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Somerville, Mr. Wyckoff was a lifelong resident of Lambertville. He was the administrator for the food services program at the New Jersey State Prison in Rahway for 21 years before retiring last year. Earlier, he worked in food services at the Hunterdon County Jail. Wyckoff's store and luncheonette in Lambertville. As a young man, he worked in the kitchens of several local restaurants including the River's Edge, the Lambertville House and the Hacienda. He was the past president of the American Correctional Food Service Association (2006 2007) and was named the association's employee of the year in 1996. Recognized as a leader in his field, Mr. Wyckoff served as an advisor to institutions throughout the country and published an instructional guide on food service management. He was awarded a doctorate in food service by the North American Association of Food Equipment Managers. He was a member of St. John Van Cleef & Arpels alhmbra bracelet white gold designed the Evangelist Church and the Young Men's Athletic Club and a past member of the Elks, all in Lambertville. He was the son of the late Archie Walter and Frances Bettuccio Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife, Carmen LoVerso Wyckoff; his children and their spouses, Heather and Christopher Harbach of Germany, Franklin R. and Elise Ryan of Flemington and Steve Ryan of New York City; his five grandchildren; his two great best high imitation Van Cleef & Arpels clover bracelet grandchildren; his sisters and their husbands, Linda J. and George Kilmer of Lambertville and Barbara E. and Albert P. Reading of Holland, PA; his brothers and their wives, Walter F. and Judy Wyckoff of Lambertville, H. Donald and Debbie Wyckoff of Solebury, PA and Peter L. Wyckoff, Sr. of Buckingham, PA and his many cousins, nieces and nephews Van Cleef & Arpels replicas and his best friend, Michael Haldeman of Lambertville. The Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, Jan. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 44 Bridge St., Lambertville, NJ 08530.
