Cheap Jordans 2017 has officially unveiled the return of the Air Jordan 3 White Cement to celebrate the 30-year-anniversary of that iconic moment when Michael Jordan pushed the limits of gravity when he launched from the free throw line during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. Behind every Air Jordan shoe and colorway is at least one story inspired by Michael Jordan and his unprecedented greatness on the court. The "White Cement" Air Jordan 3 is no exception. Jordan first wore the shoe at the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest in Chicago. Having won the year prior, he wanted to defend his title, this time in his hometown. He needed a steep 49 points to win.

The upper is constructed using white leather and red accents on the tongue and lace holes, while cement print covers the mudguard and heel, where the OG Nike Air logo can be seen. Starting at the middle of the back court, Jordan took off from the free throw line and earned a perfect 50 points, winning the contest. The shoe comes in that very same OG color scheme with White, Fire Red, Cement Grey and Black hues with the addition of a translucent sole that features a red stripe to represent the exact place where MJ took flight. Other distinct markings are "3:51" on the back pull tabs as a nod to the time MJ took flight and "147" on the tongue to reflect MJ's total score in the final round of the Dunk contest and the insoles equipped with an outsole graphic.
