KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Keegan Bradley is playing so well at the CIMB Classic that not even the fact his beloved Boston Red Sox are in the World Series can distract him. Zay Jones Bills Jersey . Teeing off on Friday in Malaysia while the Red Sox were playing the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 2 of the World Series in Boston, Bradley sunk seven birdies -- including five in a six-hole stretch on his back nine -- to shoot a 6-under 66 and open up a four-stroke lead over Ryan Moore heading into the weekend. Hes at 13-under 131 for the tournament, an official event on the PGA Tour for the first time. Bradley, who grew up near Boston in Woodstock, Vt., is such a big Red Sox fan, his bio on the tour website lists his "biggest thrill outside golf" as Bostons World Series triumphs in 2004 and 2007. But even though hes been getting updates on this years series from his girlfriend, Jillian, on the course, hes kept his focus on his own game. So much so, in fact, hes playing some of his best golf -- even though the Red Sox lost on Thursday to even the series at one game apiece. "In the back of my mind, Im wondering whats going on (with the Red Sox)," he said. "I know my mom at home is flipping back and forth, watching. Its fun to know yesterday the Red Sox won, the (Boston) Bruins won and I shot 7 under." Bradley has carded only one bogey in 36 holes at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. And he nearly had an eagle and another birdie on the back nine on Friday, missing both putts by inches. "Its hard to remember a time where Ive been more dialed in than these last two days," he said. Moore didnt follow up his stellar play in the opening round -- when he made 10 birdies -- with an equally strong second round. He had three bogeys to go with three birdies in an even-par 72 and sits at 9-under 135, a stroke ahead of Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Chris Stroud in a tie for third. "Obviously it wasnt the round I had yesterday but amazingly enough it wasnt too dissimilar," Moore said. "I hit a lot of really good putts today that just were just right on the edge, burning the edges, so overall Im still very happy with my game and where Im at." Graham DeLaet of Weybun, Sask., followed an even opening round by shooting 5-under 67 Friday, moving him into a tie for 13th. David Hearn of Brantford, Ont., shot 2-under 70 and was tied for 33rd. One player whos not at all happy is Phil Mickelson, who again struggled with wayward drives a day after saying his swing is as bad as its been in a long time. After a long wait caused by a backup at the 10th hole, Mickelson pulled his tee shot to the left, just out of bounds under a tree. He clenched his teeth and muttered to himself, but was in better spirits when he reached the ball, joking to the crowd, "Everybody OK? Sorry about that." Then, on the back nine, Mickelson gave himself two tough chip shots from sand traps onto the greens that led to back-to-back bogeys on the 13th and 14th holes. He birdied his last two holes to salvage a 2-under 70, but that didnt give the five-time major winner much solace. "I dont have the control of the swing that Id like," said Mickelson, who is 10 strokes off the pace at 3 under. "Im not sure which side Im going to miss it on and playing this golf course from the rough, which I did today is extremely difficult. The rough is tough. Youre fighting for pars the whole day." Mickelson said before the tournament hed be taking more time off this season and playing fewer events so he can focus more on trying to win the majors, particularly the U.S. Open, which would complete a career Grand Slam. But his biggest priority right now is fixing his swing. "Ive got a lot of issues and I think that Ill address it more in the off-season. This week and next week (at the HSBC Champions in Shanghai), its going to be difficult," he said. The surprise of the Malaysian tournament so far has been Kiradech, who briefly shared the lead on Friday before Bradley went on his back-nine birdie run. The Thai is competing in just his fourth PGA Tour event but didnt look out of his element playing alongside Mickelson and defending champion Nick Watney. He knows this course well -- he won the Malaysian Open at the same golf club in March to earn his European Tour card. He has a chance to receive a two-year U.S. tour exemption and invitation to the Masters with a win on Sunday. "Im trying my best. I dont want to force myself," he said. "If I can do well and have a lot of luck, make a lot of putts, maybe Ill have a chance to get the PGA Tour card." Dion Dawkins Jersey . - The situation looked bleak at best for the coach Doc Rivers Clippers — down by four points with 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Zay Jones Jersey . The team of Lars Nelson, Daniel Richardsson, Johan Olsson, and anchor Marcus Hellner cruised to victory in the 4x10 km event, winning in a time of one hour, 28 minutes, and 42.SALEM, Ore. -- Conner Mertens didnt want to pretend anymore -- especially with his teammates. So the redshirt freshman kicker at Division III Willamette announced Tuesday that hes bisexual. "It got to a point where I just got tired of it, trying to hide who I was and trying to pretend I was something I was not," he said. Mertens, 19, announced his sexual orientation to his teammates during a meeting on Monday. A story about him appeared on Outsports.com on Tuesday. Speaking on campus later in the afternoon, Mertens said he hopes his announcement helps dispel the stereotypes and stigmas associated with bisexual athletes -- and in turn let other LGBT athletes know they are not alone. "You can be real and you can be yourself," Mertens said. "That only starts when you can love yourself and let others love you. Thats kind of where I was going with this." Bearcats coach Glen Fowles said the players were overwhelmingly supportive of his decision. "Its been great to see the way our guys have rallied around," Fowles said. "For our guys, Conner is just a kicker." Team captain and junior inside linebacker Jack Nelson said: "It wasnt a big deal and we were glad he felt comfortable to tell us." While severral LGBT athletes have come out, including former NBA player Jason Collins, WNBA star Brittney Griner and Major League Soccer player Robbie Rogers, its believed that Mertens is the first active college football player at any level to publicly announce his bisexuality. Zay Jones Womens Jersey. Willamette issued a statement supporting Mertens decision, saying the university "respects his contribution to a more humane and just world." Fowles joked about how Mertens first approached him: "He says, Coach, Im really going to utilize this open door policy." Mertens, who told his family just after Christmas, said he was humbled by the response. "It sounds corny, but I legitimately feel theres a weight off my shoulders. Its tiring to pretend your something else for 24-7, for 18 or 19 years of your life," he said. "So finally to be able to joke about it, to be honest about it, not have to put on this mask, Im finally able to take a deep breath." The Bearcats play in the Northwest Conference. The team went 7-2 overall last season and finished third in the league at 4-2. Mertens did not play his freshman season because he hurt his left knee while playing soccer. He will compete with two other kickers on the Bearcats roster. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

ASTANA, Kazakhstan -- Winnipegs Brittany Schussler won her seventh individual long-track World Cup medal Saturday, skating to a bronze in the womens 1,500 metres. Pat Elflein Jersey . Schusslers time of one minute 57.78 seconds put her 0.50 second behind the winning time of American Brittany Bowe (1:57.28) and 0.08 behind silver medallist Yuliya Skokova of Russia (1:57.70). "I have felt like my 1,500-metre races have been getting stronger every weekend," said Schussler. "I know theres still a lot of work to be done, but Im confident I can build off this performance." Schussler now has one silver and six bronze medals on the World Cup circuit. Her last individual medal was a bronze in the 3,000 metres in Moscow on Jan. 28, 2011. She also has won 15 medals -- including nine gold -- as a member of Canadas womens team pursuit squad, which currently holds the world record. In mens competition, Denny Morrison of Fort St. John, B.C., placed fourth in the 1,000 metres with a time of 1:09.15. Shani Davis of the United States won his third straight 1,000 metres. Morrison was also fourth in the 1,000 metres in Salt Lake City, Utah on Nov. 16. "Staying out of the spotlight has its advantages," Morrison said. "Despite two fourth place finishes now Ive actually managed to beat everyone on the World Cup circuit, except for Shani Davis. And I know I can beat Shani Davis." Kaylin Irvine of Calgary was second in the womens B 500 metre. In mens B 500 metre, William Dutton of Humboldt, Sask., was fifth, Winnipegs Tyler Derraugh was eighth and Morrison was 17th. Ottawas Ivanie Blondin placed 13th and Edmontons Nicole Garrido was 16th in womens B 1,500 metre. Dutton was fourth, Derraugh fifth and Reginas Lucas Makowsky 10th in the mens B 1,000 metres. Ben Gedeon Youth Jersey . Pinch-hitter Tommy Medica singled in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning and the Padres beat the Seattle Mariners 2-1 in their first home game since Gwynn died of cancer Monday. Ben Gedeon Womens Jersey . Judging by his performance Saturday night, Cotto has plenty left in the tank. Cotto became the first Puerto Rican fighter to win world championships in four weight divisions, stopping Sergio Martinez in their WBC world middleweight title fight Saturday night.Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - John Wall had 30 points and 12 assists as the Washington Wizards defeated the Orlando Magic 105-98 on Thursday night. Marcin Gortat posted 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Paul Pierce supplied 16 points for the Wizards, who bounced back from a season-opening loss at Miami Wednesday. Nene added 12 points, five assists and three steals in his season debut after serving a one-game suspension after leaving the bench during a scuffle with Chicago in the preseason. Nikola Vucevic provided 23 points and 12 rebounds, Ben Gordon netted 22 points off the bench and Evan Fournier put in 21 for Orlando, which fell to New Orleans on Tuesday. Final Score: Minnesota 97, Detroit 91 Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Nik Pekovic had 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Detroit Pistons 97-91 on Thursday night. Thaddeus Young posted 19 points, Ricky Rubio supplied 11 points and eight assists and Mo Williams added 13 points and four assists for Minnesota, which fell at Memphis in its opener Wednesday night. Caron Butler tallied 24 points and eight rebounds off the bench to lead the Pistons, who lost at Denver to open their season Wednesday. D.J. Augustin provided 20 points and six assists, while Andre Drummond put up 11 points and 12 boards in defeat. Final Score: Dallas 120, Utah 102 Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Dirk Nowitzki and Chandler Parsons dropped 21 points apiece and the Dallas Mavericks toppled the Utah Jazz on Thursday, 120-102, in their home opener. Two nights after losing a tight game to the defending-champion Spurs, Dallas stars made sure it wouldnt fall to 0-2. Nowitzki and Parsons shot a combined 17-of-29 from the floor. Al-Farouq Aminu contributed 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench, Monta Ellis netted 14 points with six assists and Tyson Chandler scored 13. The Mavs led by as many as 30 points and never trailed. Derrick Favors went for 17 points and 11 rebounds for Utah, which hasnt won in two games this season. Gordon Hayward and Trey Burke both scored 16 points in defeat. Final Score: New York 95, Cleveland 90 Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork. Dalvin Cook Jersey. com) - LeBron James is home. It doesnt matter that he shot only shot 5-of-15 in his first home game in front of a raucous crowd at Quicken Loans Arena in four years, or that he turned the ball over eight times, or even that his Cavaliers lost. What matters, is that hes home. Carmelo Anthony spoiled James homecoming, scoring 25 points to lead the New York Knicks past Cleveland on Thursday, 95-90. James long anticipated return to Cleveland didnt go quite according to plan, but there are 81 more regular season games to go for the new-look Cavs to sort things out. Kevin Love, acquired in a blockbuster deal from the Timberwolves, had 19 points and 14 rebounds in his first action in a Cleveland uniform, while returning star Kyrie Irving led the way with 22 points and seven assists. The four-time MVP James famously left his hometown for the Miami Heat following the 2009-10 season. He led Miami to four straight championship appearances, winning two, before signing with Cleveland this offseason. James finished with 17 points, five rebounds and four assists in the setback. Final Score: LA Clippers 93, Oklahoma City 90 Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - It wasnt pretty, but Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the Los Angeles Clippers grinded out a 93-90 win over the short- handed Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Paul missed a pair of free throws that could have made it a three-point game with 13.8 seconds remaining, but he went to the ground to secure the rebound on Sebastian Telfairs miss at the other end and Griffin sank two from the stripe. It was 91-88 with 5.8 seconds left when LA fouled Nick Collison intentionally to prevent the Thunder from getting off a look from 3-point range. He hit two as well, then J.J. Redick restored the three-point margin with his pair with 2.8 seconds to play. Without any timeouts, Thunder center Steven Adams inbounded to Serge Ibaka near mid-court. Ibaka took two dribbles and lined up a deep triple, which missed short as the final buzzer sounded. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys AuthenticWholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Buffalo Bills 1 (4) - Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson; 2 (44) - Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama; 3 (79) - Preston Brown, ILB, Louisville; 4 (109) Ross Cockrell, CB, Duke; 5 (153) - Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor; 7 (221) - Randell Johnson, OLB, Florida Atlantic; 7 (237) - Seantrel Henderson, OT, Miami Top Picks Analysis: Buffalo was very active in an attempt to help speed up the development of second-year quarterback EJ Manuel. Jonathan Bernier Jersey . Bills GM Doug Whaley proved to be bold, trading up five spots to get one of the four real blue-chip players in the draft, Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins at No. 4 overall. The problem is they gave up a ton to do it, surrendering next years first-round pick to Cleveland in order to jump up five spots. "You have a young quarterback in EJ Manuel; a talented kid. Now they want to surround him with a weapon, and they went and the premier wide receiver in this draft," NFL Draft analyst Mike Mayock said. Whaley also attempted to sure up things in front of Manuel by landing Alabama offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio in the second round before addressing defense in the third by landing Louisville inside linebacker Preston Brown, who should serve as the backup in the middle to the newly-signed Brandon Spikes. Best Value Pick: Kouandjio is a comparable talent to D.J. Fluker, who went No. 11 overall in the 2013 draft. Concerns over the big mans knee sent him tumbling a bit so getting a talent like Kouandjio at a need position with the 44th pick is the definition of great value. "Kouandjio slipped to the second round mostly because of a knee injury and the rumors surrounding it. He is a big, powerful tackle; think Phil Loadholt from Minnesota," Mayock said. "Hes so long that not many can get by him in pass protection." Questionable Calls: With or without Watkins most believe Buffalo wont be contending for a playoff spot in 2014 so giving up next years first-round choice could prove to be very painful next year. Summary: Whaley also traded veteran receiver Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers for an undisclosed 2015 draft choice and acquired Philadelphia running back Bryce Brown for a future conditional mid-round draft pick. Moving Johnson was expected once Watkins was in the fold but acquiring Brown, a pure talent with fumbling issues, for a meaningful pick when you already have CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson on the depth chart was a head-scratcher. Anytime you get a player like Watkins there is plenty of good in the draft but there were just too many questionable moves surrounding the acquisition to call it a home run. FINAL GRADE: B- Undrafted rookie free agent signings: DT Damien Jacobs, Florida; DB Deon Broomfield, Iowa State; CB Darius Robinson, Clemson; LB Darrin Kitchens, Florida; S Kenny Ladler, Vanderbilt; OL Jimmy Gaines, Miami; DB Derek Brim, Buffalo Miami Dolphins 1 (19) - JaWuan James, OT, Tennessee; 2 (63) - Jarvis Landry, WR, LSU; 3 (6) Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota State; 4 (125) - Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty; 5 (155) - Arthur Lynch, TE, Georgia; 5 (171) - Jordan Tripp, OLB, Montana; 6 (190) - Matt Hazel, WR, Coastal Carolina; 7 (234) - Terrence Fede, DE, Marist Top Pick Analysis: Miami general manager Dennis Hickey developed tunnel vision in his first draft, reaching for Tennessee offensive tackle JaWuan James with the 19th overall pick. James was given a second- to third-round grade by most and there were probably 30 to 40 players left on the board who project as better players than James on the professional level. Hickey settled down in the second round and was able to get talented LSU wide receiver Jarvis Landry, a strong route runner with tremendous hands. In the third Miami went back to the offensive line with North Dakota State project Billy Turner, a raw player with a solid upside. Best Value Pick: Fifth-round linebacker Jordan Tripp of Montana can really run and should be an elite special-teamer at the bare minimum. Questionable Calls: Clearly offensive tackle was a need position for the Dolphins but prioritizing need over talent at No. 19 overall is a very poor decision. The names picked directly behind James were Brandin Cooks, Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix and Johnny Manziel. In a game of who doesnt belong? James sticks out like a sore thumb. Summary: Hickeys self-described analytics approach produced some very strange results. Either he is the smartest guy in the room or hes in over his head. FINAL GRADE: C- Undrafted rookie free agent signings: QB Brock Jensen, North Dakota State; CB Steven Clarke, Vanderbilt; DT Curtis Porter, Miami; DT Anthony Johnson, LSU; WR Rantavious Wooten, Georgia; OT David Hurd, Arkansas; S Demetrius Wright, USC; TE/FB Gator Hoskins, Marshall; DL Shayron Green, Miami; OL Evan Finkenberg, Arizona State; DE Trevor Mims, USF; CB Deion Belue, Alabama; DT Garrison Smith, Georgia; WR Ryan Lankford, Illinois; P Stephen Clark, Auburn; LB Tariq Edwards, Virginia Tech; OT Gasten Gabriel, Southeastern Louisiana; OLB Derrell Johnson, East Carolina; C Tyler Larsen, Utah State; G Devointe Wallace, New Mexico State; RB Damien Williams, Oklahoma; LB Andrew Wilson, Missouri; K Anthony Fera, Texas; OLB Marcus Thompson, Rutgers New England Patriots 1 (29) - Dominique Easley, DT, Florida; 2 (62) - Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois; 4 (105) Bryan Stork, OC, Florida State; 4 (130) - James White, RB, Wisconsin; 4 (140) - Cameron Fleming, OT, Stanford; 6 (179) - Jon Halapio, OG, Florida; 6 (198) - Zach Moore, DE, Concordia; 6 (206) - Jemea Thomas, CB, Georgia Tech; 7 (244) Jeremy Gallon, WR, Michigan Top Picks Analysis: The Patriots gambled and selected Florida defensive tackle Dominique Easley with the 29th overall pick. Easley is a top-10 talent with a history of significant knee problems playing a position which demands he carries a lot of weight on his 6-foot-2 frame. Easley tore both of his ACLs during his time in Gainesville, Fla., most recently damaging the ACL and meniscus in his right knee last September, cutting short was shaping up as a monster season for the Staten Island, N.Y., native. Easley has always shown the kind of quick, active hands that are a staple of three-technique stars in the NFL and despite being "undersized" at 288 pounds has always been able to hold his own against the run thanks to impressive core and lower-body strength. "He was a top 30 pick until he tore his ACL in September," NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock said. "Hes quick and explosive. A lot of people felt like he was going to drop because of the ACL. This is a typical Bill Belichick pick. The rest of the league discounted his talent, but hell be in training camp. The Patriots needed defensive linemen and this kid is gifted." In the second round New England may have invested in the heir to Tom Bradys throne in Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Brady still has plenty of shelf life left but he is 36 and current backup Ryan Mallett will likely be moving on sooner rather than later. "This kids got a quick release, good arm and is very athletic," Mayock said of Garoppolo. "Tom Brady, at his age, and Ryan Malletts uncertain status forces this pick. This is an insurance policy for an unknown future." Best Value Pick: Offensive tackle Cameron Fleming, the teams fourth-round pick from Stanford, fits very well into what the Patriots do offensively and could develop into a future starter on the right side of the offensive line. Questionable Calls: Remember it isnt about one knee injury with Easley, we are at two and counting. If the Pats wanted help on the defensive line they could have looked at another player with an extremely high ceiling and no real injury history, RaShede Hageman. Summary: Call this the risk/reward draft for New England. They could hit it big with Easley and Garoppolo or end up with nothing. Final Grade: B- Undrafted rookie free agent signings: TE Tyler Beck, Bowling Green; RB Roy Finch, Oklahoma; DL Micajah Reynolds, Michigan State; LB James Morris, Iowa; DB Travis Hawkins, Delaware; TE Justin Jones, East Carolina; DL Deylan Buntyn, N.C. State; OLB Cameron Gordon, Michigan; LS Tyler Ott, Harvard; TE Asa Watson, N.C. State; DT Sealii Espensa, UCLA; WR Ja-Mes Logan, Ole Miss; RB Stephen Houston, Indiana; LB Deontae Skinner, Mississippi State; CB Malcolm Butler, West Alabama; S Jeremy Deering, Rutgers; LB Cameron Gordon, Michigan New York Jets 1 (18) - Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville; 2 (49) - Jace Amaro, TE, Texas A&M; 3 (80) - Dexter McDougle, CB, Maryland; 4 (104) - Jalen Saunders, WR, Oklahoma; 4 (115) - Shaq Evans, WR, UCLA; 4 (137) - Dakota Dozier, OT, Furman; 5 (154) - Jeremiah George, ILB, Iowa State; 6 (195) - Brandon Dixon, CB, Northwest Missouri State; 6 (209) - Quincy Enunwa, WR, Nebraska; 6 (210) - IK Enemkpali, DE, Louisiana Tech; 6 (213) - Tajh Boyd, QB, Clemson; 7 (233) - Trevor Riley, OLB, Utah Top Picks Analysis: Cornerback seemed like the bigger need for the Jets but John Idzik and Rex Ryan couldnt pass up Louisville safety Calvin Pryor with the 18th overall pick. An old school, seek-and-destroy safety, Pryor is a little bit better in coverage than he gets credit for and a lot of scouts have described him as a bigger Bob Sanders. If the second round New York added to its improved playmaking unit on offense by selecting Texas A&M tight end Jace Amaro, who is more of a glorified slot receiver in the mold of Aaron Hernandez than a traditional "Y." "I like this pick a lot for the Jets as they try to fortify their offensive firepower," NFL Network draft analyst Charles Davis said. "(Amaro) is a physical route runner. He gets into seams very well. Once he catches the ball, he becomes an excellent ball carrier." Rex finally got his corner in the third round when Idzik tabbed Marylands Dexter McDougle, who isnt very big but runs pretty well. Best Value Pick: Shaq Evans, a fourth-round wide receiver out of UCLA, has impressive size and solid hands. He could develop into a solid possession receiver who can work the middle of the field and prove to be a chain-mover. Questionable Calls: McDougle has a shoulder problem and was rated as a late- round pick by most. His ceiling as a player is likely a sub-package slot option. Summary: The top two picks were very good and things tapered off a bit from there. FINAL GRADE: B Undrafted rookie free agent signings: DT Kerry Hyder Jr, Texas Tech; OT Tevon Conrad, Saginaw Valley State; LB Nick Dimarco, William Penn; LB Steele Divitto, Boston College; OT Brent Qvale, Nebraska; DE Zach Thompson, Wake Forest; K Michael Palardy, Tennessee; FB Chad Young, San Diego State; WR Jermaine Jones, St. Augustine; DL Anthony Grady, Missouri State; WR Terrence Miller, Arizona; WR DeMario Bennett, Coastal Carolina Cam Fowler Jersey .Connor Graham, Alex Lintuniemi and Sam Studnicka also scored for Ottawa (11-8-2). Liam Herbst made 21 saves for the win.Brendan Lemieux had both of Barries (10-10-2) goals. Corey Perry Jersey . Needing to bulk up on both sides of the line, the Falcons agreed to terms with guard Jon Asamoah, defensive end Tyson Jackson and defensive tackle Paul Soliai. Asamoah and Jackson played last season with Kansas City, where Asamoah lost his starting job.NEW YORK, N.Y. - The presentation on domestic violence given to NFL owners on Wednesday included a video by a former player appealing for recognition and action.Joe Ehrmann, a defensive tackle for 10 pro seasons (1973-82), beseeches viewers to imagine what it would be like to see a loved one being subjected to abuse. He then urges intervention to curb such behaviour.Think about the role you have to raise up a generation of men that are going to have the clarity, have the moral courage to call out other men, Ehrmann says. The video is part of a 40-minute presentation put together by the league with the help of a group of outside advisers. The goal is to educate everyone in the NFL about the dangers of spousal abuse, child abuse, sexual assault and other domestic violence topics. It was very thorough, it was good, Steelers President Art Rooney said.Deana Garner, the leagues director of player engagement and education, said the educational program being implemented will examine workplace policy, disciplinary considerations and increasing understanding of the prevalence in society of these issues and how it impacts the NFL.So many people dont understand how complicated domestic violence is, Garner said. This is a unique crime committed across all demographics.Garner was encouraged by the reaction and input the presentation received from the owners. They were very engaged, she said. They recognized the importance of this initial education program and that it will set a standard. In a memo to owners this week, Commissioner Roger Goodell outlined how the NFL will re-examine its personal conduct policy. These are the first league meetings since Goodell admitted he was wrong in giving Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice only a two-game suspension for punching his then-fiancee in an elevator. Following a torrent of criticism, Goodell announced stiffer penalties for future domestic violence cases. After video of the punch was released, the Ravens cut Rice and Goodell suspended him indefinitely. Rice has since appealed the suspension.Other abuse cases involving Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson, Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer and Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy also have been made public. All three are on an exempt list, suspended but still being paid. The goal of the NFL educational program of which the video is a part is to creatte a better understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Anaheim Ducks Jersey. It will concentrate on explaining the impact on victims, families and perpetrators; how to avoid becoming a perpetrator or a silent bystander; and how to intervene.Garner said the program will be implemented immediately, with visits to several teams in October and to every team by the end of the season. Owners, team executives, coaches, players and league personnel also will receive instruction. The owners were particularly eager to have the educational sessions scheduled for their teams, Garner added.Men play a critical role in reducing domestic violence by being active in interventions, Garner said. Step in. Speak out. Have thoughtful conversations.Thats exactly what is stressed in the video by Ehrmann, who runs an organization called Coach For America, and has been one of the speakers who visits NFL teams during what the league calls professional development sessions.Lisa Friel, vice-president of the Sexual Misconduct Consulting & Investigations division for T&M Protection Resources, is one of the advisers helping the NFL develop and carry out the educational program. She expected laser-focused attention from the owners on Wednesday a€” and she saw just that.It is important with this kind of education to start at the top and have it filter down, Friel said. From the owner to the guy in the locker room who washes uniforms. She also anticipates long-term benefits beyond team and league organizations.A lot of NFL athletes have been leaders throughout their lives, he said. We can tap into that leadership role ... and it can help empower others.Rita Smith, another adviser to the league on domestic violence, has had conversations with the NFL since 1998 about such educational programs. She noted that many owners asked about how to make sure everyone in our clubs organization has access to educational courses.Their capacity to influence the dialogue being said inside football a€” at the youth and high school, college and professional level a€” is pretty huge, said Smith, the former executive director of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Theres also the trickle down to the fans, family members and the sponsors. Its hard to measure the impact this could have.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

TORONTO -- In the moments before the Toronto Raptors took the court for Game 4 in Brooklyn, they huddled in the locker-room and watched footage of their fans gathered back home in Maple Leaf Square. Dion Dawkins Bills Jersey . The Raptors went on to win Game 4 and even up the series and say theyve drawn inspiration from the swell of support theyre receiving in their home city. "I told the team, the fans are doing their part, weve got to do our part as a team, as a group of guys to lead the fight on the court, because the fans are behind us 100 per cent and theyre loud and theyre very proud. And they should be," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. The Raptors expect a repeat of Sunday, when a capacity crowd of 2,500 red-clad fans jammed Maple Leaf Square to watch the game on the giant screen outside the Air Canada Centre. Thousands more packed the roads leading up to the ACC in a raucous outdoor celebration similar to the citys playoff party during the Maple Leafs brief run last year. "Oh man, its unbelievable, our fan base," Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry said. "It makes you want to just be a part of it. Things that were doing right now and the way the fan base is going out there, we want to go out there and play hard and give them a reason to keep coming back and packing Maple Leaf Square and packing the ACC. "We need our fans, we love our fans. . . We cant wait to see (Wednesday) night, the vibe and the energy were going to get." The series has been a spirited battle even before the first ball was tossed up, thanks to general manager Masai Ujiris now-famous F-bomb. Its been a fierce fight on the court. Casey said Kyle Lowry looked like hed been through a 15-round bout after Game 4, and the coach expects both teams to come out swinging in Game 5 on Wednesday. "Its not going to be all smiles and bubble gum and fruitcakes. . . Its going to be a street fight," Casey said. "Thats the way weve got to come out, with that mentality." The Raptors, said Lowry, were caught on their heels Game 1 of the series. The less-experienced Raptors -- three of the teams starters had never made a playoff appearance -- werent prepared for how physical post-season action would be. They lost that game. They put up a fight in Sundays Game 4 victory in Brooklyn, holding the Nets to just three baskets in a scrappy fourth quarter. But they were forced to battle back from a lackadaisical third quarter, a bad habit the Raptors havent been able to shake all season long. "Weve got to compete like that for 40-plus (minutes)," Casey said. "The third quarter has been our nemesis. . . thats what we have to remedy, coming out of the locker-room at halftime with that desperate disposition." Despite being the No. 3 seed, the Raptors were considered underdogs in this series based on playoff experience. DeMar DeRozan said theyve played with a chip on their collective shoulder with that underdog mentality all season, so this is nothing new. "We understood coming into this series that people still counted us out, people still doubted us, people said: Brooklyns experience, this, that and the third. . . whatever you want to hear," said DeRozan, who struggled through playoff jitters in Game 1 but has shone for Toronto in the three games since. "Weve been counted out so long, weve got the underdog mentality. I dont think thats going anywhere." Playoff experience was a major theme when this best-of-seven series began. Future Hall of Famer Paul Pierce alone -- with 136 playoff appearances -- had played in almost as many post-season games as the entire Raptors roster combined. None of Torontos starters -- Lowry, DeRozan, Terrence Ross, Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas -- had ever started in a playoff game. DeRozan, Ross and Valanciunas had never played in the post-season, period. The Raptors say that four games in, experience doesnt mean much anymore. "Its just who wants it more from here on out. Thats what it boils down to now," DeRozan said. Added Casey: "I dont think were as wide-eyed and bushy-tailed as we were in Game 1." Ross remains the one Raptor struggling with the playing on the big stage of the post-season. The athletic sophomore, who poured in 51 points in a game earlier this season, scored zero in Game 4. Casey and the players remain fiercely supportive of the 21-year-old. "Im not going to do anything to crush that young mans confidence or what hes brought to the table thus far," said Casey, pointing out that Ross has done some good things on the defensive end. "And its not about Terrence Ross, its about our entire team," the coach added. "The spotlight should not be on him in any way whatsoever. The reason why we win or lose is not because of what Terrence Ross did or didnt do." Zay Jones Bills Jersey . PHILADELPHIA -- Claude Giroux scored the tying and winning goals in the final minutes of the third period, rallying the Philadelphia Flyers past the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-4 on Thursday night. Zane Gonzalez Jersey . Giroux scored two of the Flyers five third-period goals as Philadelphia stormed back from a 3-0 hole. Girouxs 100th NHL goal was perhaps his most amazing, a backhanded and blind shot that beat Curtis McElhinney up high with 1:39 left. The Flyers captain had tied it with 4:39 left. Jakub Voracek, Braydon Coburn, Erik Gustafsson also scored goals for the Flyers. Steve Mason got the win in his first game against his former team. The Blue Jackets traded Mason to the Flyers, and his strong season has helped keep Philadelphia afloat through its offensive struggles. Cam Atkinson, Jack Skille, Nick Foligno and Blake Comeau had goals for Columbus. Giroux had no view of the net when he beat McElhinney for the stunning goal. Giroux is starting to come around after a lengthy goal drought to open the season. The Flyers snapped their scoreless skid and started their rally with a pair of quick goals to open the third. Voracek, a former Blue Jackets forward, scored his sixth goal in six games with a wrister from the circle to make it 3-1. Coburn swiped the puck at the blue line, knocked a low liner toward the net, and the puck one-hopped its way past McElhinney to make it 3-2. The Blue Jackets, in control for 40 minutes, called timeout to regroup and stall Philadelphias momentum. It worked -- for a few minutes. Columbus centre Artem Anisimov hustled for a loose puck off a turnover behind the net and kicked it out to Comeau, who was alone for the nice feed and scored his third goal to make it 4-2. Gustafsson scored his second of the season with 4:39 left, and Giroux came streaking down the right side and finished off a rush with 3:45 left for the tying goal, sending the crowd into a frenzy. He was just getting started. The Flyers were heavily booed off the ice at the end of the second period, and the familiar chants of "E-A-G-L-E-S!" echoed throughout the Wells Fargo Center. The fans were unhappy with a sloppy end to the second in which Columbus took a 3-0 lead. With only 7.5 seconds left, Jack Johnson cleared the puck from behind the net, and Foligno was there to knock in his 10th goal. The Flyers recorded only nine shots in the period. Columbus has been hit hard by injuries, but McElhinney made the early lead stand. Atkinson opened the scoring midway through the first with a short-handed goal. Voracek was stripped of the puck at Columbus blue line, setting up a 2-on-1 for Atkinson to bust loose with his 10th goal. The Blue Jackets caught the Flyers off-guard against the boards on a shift change, setting up yet another 2-on-1 break. This time, Skille connected from the circle. Mason had 12 wins and a shutout for the Flyers in his first full season with the franchise. Mason had it all figured out when he went 33-20-7 with 10 shutouts and won the Calder Trophy as rookie of the year in 2008-09, the only season the Blue Jackets made the playoffs. He posted a goals-against average over 3.00 each of the next three seasons and was out the door upon the emergence of Vezina Trophy winner Sergei Bobrovsky. TORONTO -- Veteran forward Jamal Mayers announced his retirement from the National Hockey League on Friday, ending a career that spanned 14 seasons. Marshawn Lynch Jersey . The 39-year-old Toronto native played for five different NHL teams and had 90 goals, 119 assists and 1,200 penalty minutes in 915 career regular-season games. "It really has been an amazing experience to have had the chance to play 14 seasons in the NHL and finish it all off last season as a part of the Chicago Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup," Mayers said in a release issued by the NHL Players Association. Mayers broke into the NHL in the 1996-97 season with St. Louis and played parts of 10 seasons with the Blues. He also played for Toronto, Calgary and San Jose before capping his career with two seasons in Chicago. The six-foot-one, 222-pound right-winger had 13 points (5-8) and 32 penalty minutes in 63 career playoff games. He played at the IIHF world hockey championship on three occasions and helped Canada win gold in 2007 and silver in 2008. Gareon Conley Jersey . Azarenka needed exactly one hour in a 6-1, 6-0 rout of Austrian Yvonne Meusburger to start the night session at Laver Arena. Sharapova had a much easier time earlier in the day with cooler conditions and took full advantage in 6-1, 7-6 (8-6) win over Frenchwoman Alize Cornet, while Radwanska had to rally for a 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. Gareon Conley Womens Jersey . He won 186 votes out of 203 ballots.DENVER - A fast start and exciting finish helped the Colorado Avalanche avoid another disappointing home loss. Paul Stastny had the tying goal and two assists and Tyson Barrie scored 33 seconds into overtime to complete the rally that lifted the Avalanche to a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night. Jan Hejda and Jamie McGinn also scored for Colorado and Gabriel Landeskog had a career-high three assists. "Its awesome. To get that point going to OT was huge, and to get the second one was awesome," Barrie said. It didnt look like Colorado would get any points for the second straight home game. The Senators carried the play for a majority of the game but couldnt finish it off. "I think we got what we deserved. They played very good to start the game and very good to end the game," Senators coach Paul MacLean said. "In between we were in control. You come on the road and get a point after being down 2-0 in the first five minutes, I think we earned the point." The Avalanche were down 3-2 in the third and pressed for the tying goal. John Mitchell nearly tied it when his shot went off the inside of the right post. Stastny got the equalizer moments later when he deked goalie Craig Anderson and scored at 17:40. In overtime, Stastny fed Barrie in front of the net and the defenceman buried the chance to give Colorado the win. "I called to Paul behind the net and I just tried to get open," Barrie said. "I knew he was going to find me. It was just a matter of trying to beat the goalie. I thought I saw some room on the right side and tried to put it there and fortunately it went in. Thats a huge two points for us." Clarke MacArthur had a goal and an assist, and Jason Spezza and Kyle Turris also scored and Ottawa. "We didnt have a good start to the game, but we played a really good hockey game after that," Spezza said. "We sat back too much and we gave them too many chances to tie the game, and in overtime anything can happen." The Senators controlled play for much of the second period and took the lead on two quick goals after a pair of minors by Colorado defencemen. Cory Sarich drew aa slashing minor at 11:06 and Hejda a delay of game 68 seconds later to put the Avalanche down two players. Eddie Vanderdoes Youth Jersey. Spezza, back after missing four games with a hip flexor injury, tied it with his 12th goal with 13 seconds left in the 5-on-3. Colorado killed off the second minor, but Turris scored before Hejda could get back into the play. It was Turris 11th goal of the year. "We were in full control," MacArthur said. "We were finding a way to win and tonight we found a way to lose." Colorado jumped ahead with two goals by 4:54 into the first period. McGinn got the first one when he tipped Erik Johnsons pass from the point during a power play past Anderson. It was McGinns 10th of the season. Hejda made it 2-0 just 2:35 later when he beat Anderson with a slap shot from the point. It was his eighth goal of the season. Anderson finished with 27 saves and Erik Karlsson had two assists. The two goals seemed to energize the Senators, who outshot the Avalanche 9-3 the rest of the first period. They pressured goalie Semyon Varlamov and finally broke through after a turnover by Andre Benoit. Bobby Ryan gathered the loose puck and fed MacArthur from behind the net, and the left winger scored on a one-timer from the left slot at 15:02. It was his 15th of the season. Ottawa nearly tied it on a power play early in the second period. Two Senators hit posts during the man advantage as the Senators had four shots on goal in the two minutes. Varlamov stopped 29 shots. "A character win for us. We were a little shaky after they had that 5-on-3 and we were a little shaky to start the third period. Varly made some great saves for us. The last five minutes, I really liked what I saw. We played with urgency and I was very proud of our team." NOTES: Barrie has two overtime goals in his career. ... Avalanche C Ryan OReilly was scratched with a shoulder injury. OReilly was injured in the third period of Mondays loss to Calgary. ... TORONTO – Its a good thing youve gotten used to life without a healthy Brett Lawrie. Jordan Willis Youth Jersey . Its time to draw on that experience and let it guide you through the foreseeable future. After playing just three innings in Tuesday nights game, Lawries highly anticipated return from a 36-game absence with a fractured right index finger, he took himself out of the game with what initially was described as lower back tightness. Turns out the 24-year-old has a strained oblique muscle, his third in three seasons in whats become a chronic pattern of core body injuries, and will be out for at least the remainder of August. "The biggest thing is its not the same injury that he had in 2013," said general manager Alex Anthopoulos. "That being said, from a recovery standpoint, obliques can take anywhere from three to six weeks. So you just dont know how hes going to recover, how strong hes going to feel. Everybody recovers at their own pace." Lawries injury is on the left side, which resembles his oblique strain of last year, but its in a different location. Anthopoulos said his third baseman insisted he hadnt felt pain during his minor league rehab assignment. The issue flared up during batting practice on Tuesday but Lawrie initially didnt feel it was serious enough to ask out of that nights starting lineup. Anthopoulos said Lawrie has gotten better at communicating his aches and pains over the years. "Especially with him having been through it, hes become a lot more intelligent with knowing his body and knowing when to try to push through things and when to scale back," said Anthopoulos. "Especially with obliques, knowing how long you can take to recover, I think its just one of those things that happened." Lawrie is still young, both in age and in major league experience. This is just his third full season on a major league roster. Hes still looking for his first completely healthy season. Since the start of 2012, Lawries played in 302 of the Jays 439 games (including Thursdays series finale with Baltimore). Thats an appearance rate of 68.8-percent. He missed time in May with a tight hamstring, although he didnt go on the disabled list. Hes also had the finger and now the oblique. Last year, it was an oblique strain, followed by a severely sprained ankle suffered while sliding into second base. In 2012, it was the oblique. Theres been a broken hand and other nicks and bruises. Maybe Lawrie is just injury-prone. Maybe the Blue Jays need to alter Lawries training regimen. Hes tightly wound, cutting as muscular a figure as youll see on a ballplayer. "The tough one on this one is we dont know what the cause was," said Anthopoulos. "Even at the World Baseball Classic, he had a full month to get ready for games and he went down there and I think he dove for a ball and he felt it there. Im going to talk to our guys. Obviously its a new thing but at some point maybe well do some things with Brett that maybe we think can prevent (future injury)." Linds Timetable Adam Lind has recovered from a fractured right foot and played in a Gulf Coast League game on Thursday, going 2-for-2 with two doubles and a run scored before being lifted for a pinch-hitter. "I spoke to him two days ago, just asking about his timing at the plate and he mentioned to me, he says he didnt feel he was going to need a lot of rehab games," said Anthopoulos. "He just felt his timing was there. He said he faced Neil Wagner and (Roberto) Osuna, who were throwing hard." Anthopoulos pegged Monday in Seattle as a possible return date for Lind, who went on the disabled list on July 8 after playing almost a month with a fracture in his right foot, suffered on a foul ball on June 14 in Baltimore. Encarnacions Status Edwin Encarnacion is swinging a bat and running the bases at the Blue Jays complex in Dunedin, Florida. Anthopoulos pegged Encarnacions return for sometime on the next road trip, no later than the Chicago series but possibly as early as Seattle. The Jays visit the Mariners next Monday to Wednesday and the White Sox from a week Friday to Sunday. No Team Meeting Anthopoulos didnt feel it necessary to call his team together to explain why the ballclub was quiet at the trade deadline. "No, I dont think theres anything to address," said Anthopoulos. "I think I was asked about it that day and my response was I expect players to want to get better, to want to win. I wouldnt expect anything else. Id be more surprised if players came out and said, Wow, this is great, were so glad we didnt add any players." Jose Bautista and Casey Janssen were critical of the clubs decision not to make any improvements. Anthopoulos said there were no deals available which would have made the Blue Jays better, citing what would-be trade partners were asking in return. Joe Mixon Bengals Jersey . Murakami gracefully executed a double triple toe jump and a triple flip jump that put her at the top of a tightly contested race with 64.73 points, just ahead of Li Zijun of China on 62. Carl Lawson Youth Jersey . Patton told The Baltimore Sun that he took an Adderall pill four days before the season finished, trying to improve his short-term focus. "I took one because I was stupid," Patton told The Sun. BOSTON -- David Krejci thought there were a few seconds left before overtime. He was surprised when he saw how close it was. Krejci tipped in a shot with eight-tenths of a second left in the third period to lift the Boston Bruins to a 2-1 win over San Jose on Thursday night, sending the Sharks to their first regulation loss of the season. "Actually I thought there might be more than 10 seconds, maybe 15, 20 seconds left," he said, breaking into a smile. "Then we scored it Luc (Milan Lucic) said Look up. I looked up and it was .8. It was even sweeter." Jarome Iginla scored his first goal with the Bruins (7-2) and goaltender Tuukka Rask was outstanding, making 38 saves. "I was pretty excited to get my first in a Bruins uniform and to get it at home, get it in a tough game, and to get it unexpectedly," Iginla said. "Its kind of like you throw it at the net and Wow. That was cool. Its been a while. You always hope its coming." The Sharks dominated the Bruins for most of the night until Krejci sent the fans to the streets happy, looking to watch the end of the Red Sox World Series game about 3 miles away. Patrick Marleau had San Joses goal, his eighth of the season. Antti Niemi stopped 15 shots. Krejci, positioned in the slot, tipped defenceman Adam McQuaids shot from the point between Niemis pads for the game-winner. "There was a guy in front, so I thought just to watch the puck and I thought I had it, but he tipped it kind of back the same way where I was coming from," Niemi said. "Yeah, tough way to lose with just a little bit left in the game." The Sharks (8-1-1) tied the game at 1-all on the opening shift of the third period when Marleau swooped in from the left wing, slipping a rebound past Rask 18 seconds into the period. Seconds later, Rask came across the crease and made a blocker save on Tomas Hertl at the end of a 2-on-1 break. The Sharks kept up the pressure with a flurry of shots over the next 2 1/2 minutes. "I looked up at the clock and was happy there was .8 ," Boston coach Claude Julien said. The Bruins had an excellent chance with 2 1/2 minutes left in regulation when Niemi dropped to make a pad save on Krejcis bid from in close. Rasks play kept Boston in this game. "Their goalie played well tonnight and made a lot of key saves for them," Marleau said. Jordan Willis Womens Jersey. Iginla had given Boston a 1-0 lead with 1:12 left in the second when he collected the rebound of Dennis Seidenbergs shot near the bottom of the right circle, firing a shot that trickled into the net after hitting Niemis right pad and slipping between his legs. Signed to a one-year free-agent deal that could earn him as much as $6 million with incentives, Iginla had a big smile on his face as he went over to the bench to accept congratulations from his teammates. The 36-year old winger vetoed a trade that would have sent him to the Bruins when they had a deal in place at last seasons trading deadline. He ended up accepting a deal to Pittsburgh, which was swept in the Eastern Conference finals by Boston last spring. Niemi had robbed Patrice Bergeron about 2 minutes before Iginlas goal when he came across the crease to make a glove stop at the end of a 2-on-1 break. Bruins winger Shawn Thornton unloaded a slap shot that caromed off the left post 3 minutes into the second. The Bruins played the first period like many of their fans from the slimmed-down crowd -- like they had something else on their minds. With the Red Sox hosting Game 2 of the at Fenway Park, there were a decent number of empty seats despite the clubs 170th straight sellout of TD Garden. The arena, which was less than a third full about 10 minutes before game time, ended up being only about three-quarters filled, with many open seats in the club and lower sections. San Jose outshot Boston 16-3 in the opening period -- at times, controlling the puck for lengthy stretches in the Bruins zone. NOTES: Bostons GM Peter Chiarelli said in a statement before the game that winger Loui Eriksson was "diagnosed with a concussion and will be out indefinitely" after a hit on Wednesday from Buffalos enforcer John Scott, who was issued a match penalty for charging. Scott was suspended indefinitely by the NHL on Thursday. It ended Erikssons streak of consecutive games played at 148. ... It was the Sharks second game of a season-long five-game road trip. NEW YORK -- In a sign U. Stephen Curry Panthers Jersey .S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann is unsettled on his defence a month before the World Cup, the Americans selected the mostly untested trio of John Brooks, Timmy Chandler and DeAndre Yedlin on Monday for their 30-man preliminary roster. Chandler, a speedy right back with Nuremberg in Germany, made his U.S. debut in 2011 and balked at playing in 2012 qualifiers. He has not appeared for the Americans since February 2013, when he made his first competitive appearance at Honduras in the opening match of the final round of qualifying. "I think hes a player who can make a difference if hes on his highest level," Klinsmann said. Yedlin, a 20-year-old right back, has made just two international appearances, as a late second-half substitute this year in exhibitions against South Korea and Mexico. Brooks, a 21-year-old central defender, made his debut in August and has just three appearances, in exhibitions against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Austria and Ukraine. Klinsmann also selected 18-year-old winger Julian Green, who made his national team debut last month. He is among a group of German-Americans on the roster that includes Brooks, Chandler and Fabian Johnson; midfielder Jermaine Jones; and forward Terrence Boyd. "We have two huge talents," Klinsmann said of Green and Yedlin. "It will be interesting to see now how they take that challenge because, obviously, they dont have the experience like other players have." Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley was also named to the roster. Klinsmann omitted several veterans, a group that includes forward Eddie Johnson and midfielder Sacha Kljestan. He selected 11 defenders, 10 midfielders and six forwards who will be evaluated during a two-week training camp that opens Wednesday at Stanford, California. He must submit a 23-man roster to FIFA by June 2, and most teams take eight defenders, eight midfielders and four forwards. Half the players are from Major League Soccer, with four each from Englands Premier League and Germanys Bundesliga. Two are from Mexicos league, and one apiece from Austria, France, Netherlands, Norway and Turkey. Part of Klinsmanns thought process will be deciding whether Geoff Cameron is a right back or central defender, and whether Fabian Johnson is an outside back or a midfielder. "There is going to be a lot of competition. Thats why Jurgen is bringing in 30 rather than cutting it down to 23 right away," said defender Michael Parkhurst, who joined the Columbus Crew this season after an unsuccessful stint in Germany. "I dont know going into camp right now if Im fighting for left back or right back." Many of the defenders thought four years ago to be 2014 candidates werent even in contention, a group that includes Gale Agbossoumonde, Kevin Alston, Jonathan Bornstein, Eric Lichaj, Chad Marshall, Ike Opara, Heath Pearce and Jonathan Spector. In a sign of the lack of progress among youth players, Mix Diskerud and Boyd were the only selections from the 20-man group on the under-23 team that failed to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics. The 30-year-old Johnson, a member of the 2006 U.S. roster but among the final cuts in 2010, scored five goals in qualifying for the 2014 tournament: two in a 2-1 win at Antigua and Barbuda in October 2012, the second goal in the 2-0 victory over Panama last June in Seattle, and the first in the clinching 2-0 win over Mexico last September at Columbus, Ohio. "It was a very difficult decision based on what hes done with me the whole time, and not now having that chance at the last moment then is a very tough one on him," Klinsmann said. Johnson has not scored in eight games this season with D.C. United. "While I am disappointed," Johnson said in a statement, "I respect coach Jurgen Klinsmanns decision." Others in the group left off included defenders Edgar Castillo, Michael Orozco and Tim Ream; midfielders Brek Shea, Benny Feilhaber, Jose Torres and Daniel Williams; and forwards Herculez Gomez and Juan Agudelo. Shea scored the only goal last summer in the CONCACAF Gold Cup final against Panama. As the Americans prepare for their seventh straight World Cup appearance, another interesting competition could come at forward. While Clint Dempsey and Jozy Altidore appear to be likely starters, Klinsmann said he views Landon Donovan as a striker, and the group going to camp includes Boyd, Aron Johannsson and Chris Wondolowski. Ten players were on the 2010 preliminary roster, including a pair trying for their fourth World Cup: Donovan and left back DaMarcus Beasley. Five players did not appear in any of the 16 qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup: No. 3 goalkeeper Nick Rimando, along with Brooks, Green, Wondolowski and Yedlin. The Americans play exhibitions against Azerbaijan on May 27 at San Francisco; Turkey on June 1 at Harrison, New Jersey; and Nigeria on June 7 at Jacksonville, Florida. They travel the following day to their base camp in Sao Paulo. At the World Cup, they open against Ghana on June 16 at Natal, face Cristiano Ronaldos Portugal six days later in the Amazon rain forest city of Manaus and close the group stage against Germany on June 26 at Recife. "The goal is to try to get out of the group, which gives you the opportunity to get to the knockout stage," said Dempsey, the U.S. captain, "and then the knockout stage anything can happen." Harrison Butker Jersey . -- Fresh off their surprising run in the playoffs, the Portland Trail Blazers have signed head coach Terry Stotts to a multi-year contract extension. Harrison Butker Youth Jersey . -- Atlanta Braves pitcher Tommy Hanson is being checked for a possible concussion after blowing a tire on his way to the first workout of spring training.RALEIGH, N.C. -- The divisions changed for the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers. The results havent. The Hurricanes extended their home-ice dominance of their former Southeast Division rivals, beating them 5-1 on Friday night. Riley Nash and Alexander Semin scored 87 seconds apart in the first period. Brett Bellemore, Jiri Tlusty and Andrej Sekera also scored, and Jeff Skinner had two assists to help the Hurricanes win their seventh in 10 games. "Its a little bit more fun when youre playing with the lead," Nash said. "In this league, especially, its tough to come from behind every night, so getting that lead is especially important." Carolina improved to 30-7-4 at PNC Arena against the Panthers, winning both meetings this season. Realignment sent the former division rivals in different directions, with the Hurricanes in the Metropolitan and Florida in the Atlantic. Carolina pulled even with fifth-place Washington with 61 points in its crowded division, while Florida remains firmly in seventh place in the Atlantic. "Its really disappointing to see where our expectations are, and my expectations and everybodys expectations have to be on the same page, and I think we have to raise them," Panthers coach Peter Horachek said. "We have to expect more from each other, and I expect more from them because its certainly not desperate hockey, and its certainly not where it needs to be." Eric Staal set the Hurricanes career record for shots on goal, passing Hall of Famer Ron Francis late in the second period. Staal finished with four shots, giving him 2,542. Anton Khudobin stopped 34 shots in his 16th straight appearance for Carolina. Nick Bjugstad scored for Florida, which enters the Olympic break having lost five of six. "We put ourselves in this situation," captain Ed Jovanovski said. Tim Thomaas stopped just 10 of the 14 shots he faced. Taylor Moton Jersey. He was pulled with 15:24 left in the second after Tlusty tapped in a rebound to make it 4-1. Scott Clemmensen replaced him and stopped 16 shots. Ten Hurricanes appeared on the score sheet and Skinner was the only one with multiple points. "To be successful in the NHL, you cant rely on one line," Nash said. "You see the teams that had success in the past, win Stanley Cups, they have four lines that chip in and they have their big guns going like we do. Its been nice to see." Carolina pounced on the Panthers early in this one, with Nash and Semin striking in bang-bang fashion. Nash scored at 9:17 of the first when Tuomo Ruutu dug the puck out near the boards and slipped it toward the slot to Nash, who beat Thomas high. Semin then made it a two-goal game at 10:44 with a spinning wrist shot -- his third goal in two games this season against Thomas and the Panthers. "That was actually the game plan -- come out, just stay on them, get pucks behind them," Bellemore said. "Get shots to the net, keep getting chances and wear them out." After Bjugstad pulled Florida to 2-1 with a wrist shot that trickled past Khudobin, Bellemore restored Carolinas two-goal lead with a slap shot with 1:39 left in the first. "Once we got the lead, we kind of backed off and started to play a little more pond hockey," Hurricanes coach Kirk Muller said. "Game got a little bit too open for us and it was an up-and-down kind of game, so we just had to tighten it up at times." NOTES: Staal, who assisted on Tlustys goal, has 36 points in 35 games. ... Ruutu skated in his 600th career game. ... Carolina improved to 16-1-4 when scoring first. ... Bellemore and Florida D Erik Gudbranson slugged it out with 5:29 left in the second. Bellemore ended the fight by slamming Gudbranson to the ice. Cheap NFL JerseysCheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

It just didnt show when he hit the ice. Berra made 42 saves and Kris Russell scored at 1:32 of overtime, lifting the Calgary Flames to a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night. HOUSTON -- The Houston Texans wont dwell on their 27-0 loss to the New England Patriots.Sure, it was embarrassing and unexpected to get dominated like they were. But they know theyll have to get over it quickly to avoid it carrying over into their next game .Weve got Tennessee, a division game, coming up, so weve got to get our head screwed on right, said Houston nose tackle and former Patriot Vince Wilfork. We want to win every game. Unfortunately that doesnt happen a lot, so you move forward. That is what we have to do now.Coach Bill OBrien isnt worried about his team bouncing back from the shutout .We have a resilient bunch of guys, he said. They know that its only the third game of the season and theyre going to work very, very hard to correct the mistakes, and theyre going to work very hard on Tennessee.Although he doesnt want his team to wallow in what happened against the Patriots, OBrien and his coaching staff will study film to try and figure out how things went so wrong. You have to think about how youre going to correct your mistakes, the players mistakes, and learn from it and then move on, he said. You cant just bury the tape and then move on to Tennessee. The Texans (2-1) were done in by a number of things Thursday night, none more glaring than turnovers on special teams. Houston lost two fumbles on kickoffs, which led to 14 points by the Patriots. One of the fumbles was by Charles James and the other came from primary kick returner rookie Tyler Ervin. OBrien said Ervin will continue to get the bulk of the returns despite his miscue.Hes a rookie and hes had some decent returns for us, OBrien said. Hell learn from it. Hell get better from it and well reaally work with him to improve on it. Kevin Shattenkirk Blues Jersey. Of course he and James were far from the only players who made mistakes against the Patriots. Brock Osweiler threw an interception and failed to get Houstons offense on New Englands side of the field until late in the third quarter after looking solid in the first two games. OBrien was quick to point out that the struggles of the offense werent all on Osweiler.I do not think he took a step back, OBrien said. I think he obviously has to limit the turnovers, but I think overall, I thought that he hung in there pretty well. I think its the rhythm of the offense, everybody doing their job, the protection, the running game, the route running, catching the football.OBrien is looking for improvements in his running game after Houston was outgained 185-109 on Thursday night. New running back Lamar Miller had 80 yards rushing behind a line still without veteran left tackle Duane Brown. OBrien saw some progress by the group through the first two games, but that didnt carry over into Thursday nights game.It has to be more consistent, he said. I thought it was more consistent against Kansas City than it was against New England and ... with an extra day of preparation, well work very hard to improve that. The unit could get a boost soon with Brown, who has been out since quadriceps surgery in January, inching closer to a return.I dont think he will play against Tennessee, but I know that theres a shot for the next game, OBrien said.---Online: AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
