The gauntlet of final group stage games continued as South Korean teams Flash Lux and Afreeca Freecs Blue were once again summoned to fight each other in the first match of the day. Kenny Golladay Womens Jersey . Flash Lux was crushed yesterday by Europes Rogue, one of the best teams if not the best around. Today, however, they fared no better against Afreeca Freecs Blue, showing that their disappointing performance pointed to a lack of growth compared to other South Korean teams during APEX. Credit must also be given to the outstanding plays from match MVP Jung Recry Taek Hyun from Afreeca. The new patch seems favorable to Phamercy. Ive played Pharah since we were MiG Frost, and Mercy looks to be coming up, so there was enough reason to try it out, said Recry in an interview with Inven Global.Phamercy, the nickname given to the Pharah and Mercy combo, is something thats been around since the beginning of competitive Overwatch, but also died out with the rise of McCree -- who counters Pharah -- while Mercy got pushed out of the healer meta by Ana. On both Lijiang Tower and Kings Row, it was Recrys incredibly bold Pharah Barrages that wiped out four to five people from Flash Lux.We focused on shutting down Haksals Genji. ... The team had faith in my mirror matchup Genji, said match MVP Park Saebyelbe Jongryeol from South Korean team LW Blue.Early on in the group stages, South Korean team RuNAWAY knocked Europes REUNITED to the pavement with one of the most renowned Genji players, Kim Haksal Hyojong. Haksal walked away a star but returned to the spotlight only to be crushed by the teamwork of LW Blue. In the end, the better team conquered the better player.RuNAWAY very obviously supports Haksal and relies on him, as he was on Genji for almost the entirety of the four games. LW Blue, on the other hand, only had to prepare against Haksal, with the rest of the dominoes falling in place. LW Blue defeated RuNAWAY 3-1, but the latter still has a chance to make it out of the group stages as they face off against South Korean team Kongdoo Panthera and potentially force a tiebreaker or overtake REUNITED for a place in the quarterfinals. Michael Roberts Youth Jersey . Those lessons were more than enough to overwhelm the Utah Jazz. THE 15 BEST NRL PLAYERS OFF-CONTRACT AFTER 2017:* Darius Boyd: Arguably the best fullback in the NRL, Boyds career-best season for Brisbane allowed him to keep the No.1 jerseys in the Queensland and Australian teams.* Ben Barba: The fullback won his first premiership with Cronulla after returning to his best and reviving his career following an unsuccessful stint with the Broncos.* Billy Slater: Sidelined with injury the past two seasons, the star Melbourne No.1 believes he still has plenty to offer.* James Tedesco: The star Wests Tigers fullback is emerging as the man to reverse NSWs State of Origin fortunes. He was brilliant in his Origin debut this year in game three.* Josh Dugan: A shining light during St George Illawarras below-par year, the NSW centre was deemed good enough to keep Canberras tackle-busting machine Joey Leilua out of Australian contention.* Semi Radradra: Amid injury and troubled year off-field, the damaging Parramatta winger won his first Australian cap in 2016. Will be looking for a big 2017 after his place in the Kangaroos squad was taken by Valentine Holmes.* Jack Bird: Still young at 21, the centres signature will be of much interest after a breakout year when he made his Origin debut for NSW. The Sharks have begun negotiations and have guaranteed he wont be going anywhere.* Blake Ferguson: Despite a difficult year with strugglers the Sydney Roosters, Ferguson appears to have overcome off-field woes which led to his early career go off the rails. The centre was an Australian and NSW representative in 2016.* Valentine Holmes: Another key member of the Sharks premiership team, the 21-year-old scored an equal-second competition-high 19 tries this sseason. Teez Tabor Youth Jersey. . He was arguably the best player in the competition for the first 10 rounds. Brisbane are expected to throw everything at him to retain his services.* Johnathan Thurston: The superstar North Queensland playmaker is in the latter stages of his career and has flagged stepping down from Queensland Origin duties next year to focus on winning his second premiership at club level. Led the NRL in try assists in 2016.* Ben Hunt: Has been linked with move to Parramatta and has new competition for his halves spot at the Broncos with the arrival of Benji Marshall. Still an invaluable player, having recorded the third-most try assists in the NRL this year.* Shaun Johnson: The halfback is under increasing pressure to lead the Warriors into premiership contention after five years in finals wilderness. Has his best opportunity in 2017 with a likely halves partnership with Kieran Foran, who is set to join the Auckland-based club.* Mitchell Pearce: The Roosters halfback will be out to atone for a year to forget which included his eight-week suspension at the start of the season for his Australia Day indiscretion. He lost the NSW No.7 jumper.* Jason Taumalolo: A breakout year for the Cowboys lock included his first Dally M award which he shared with Melbournes Cooper Cronk. The Olympic champion curler and TSN curling analyst immediately went online to look at the Halls long list of honoured members. Thats when the enormity of the honour sunk in. LEBRON JAMES WAS being publicly shamed. It was the night of Dec. 5, 2015, and the Cavs trailed by 20 points in the fourth quarter of the most highly anticipated matchup of the season: James against his former team, the Miami Heat. The Golden State Warriors had opened the season with the greatest start in NBA history at 20-0. The Cavs had stumbled into Miami with two consecutive losses to drop their record to 13-6. Still, James sat quietly on the Cavs bench in a striped tee and navy blazer as giggly Heat fans in AmericanAirlines Arena chanted, Le-BRON is TI-red! like bullies at a schoolyard. The backdrop was even bleaker for James.James was clad in street clothes, not because he was injured. He had been deemed healthy by the training staff. But then-head coach David Blatt had other plans: Thanks to the grueling NBA schedule, James would not play.It wasnt just that this was the dreaded second game of a back-to-back. The NBAs schedule-makers had called for the Cavs to play less than 24 hours before in New Orleans for a 9:30 p.m Eastern tip-off, then fly eastward for two hours across a time zone to land in South Florida. After the Cavs had forced overtime against the Pelicans, the Cavs had sauntered off their team plane and into their Miami hotel rooms just before 5 a.m., the day of the Heat game. With sleep on short supply, Blatt had made the call for James to sit, marking the first time in James career that he missed a game because of rest before Christmas.Very short turnaround, Blatt explained before the game. Just thinking long term here.So despite being the hottest ticket on the Heats slate entering the season according to TipIQ.com, with the average price climbing to $330, nearly $100 more expensive than the game against Steph Curry and the then-champion Warriors, James sat.He did so again on Feb. 28 against Washington -- and another four times heading into the playoff stretch. James wasnt the only star with multiple healthy scratches last season. He joined Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Dirk Nowitzki, Russell Westbrook and others who registered at least two healthy scratches last season alone. To some, this represents a growing epidemic: the scourge of the DNP-Rest. However, new science suggests that, for the coaches who employ it, it might be the most effective play theyll call all year.GONE ARE THE days where fans could simply rely on injury reports to see whether their favorite player would suit up in that nights game.Healthy scratches are on the rise. According to ProSportsTransactions database, which tracks historical injuries and transactions, the first DNP listed with a rest label came in April 2006, for Suns PG Steve Nash and SG Raja Bell. In fact, from 2005-06 to 2010-11, there were 124 total such cases across six seasons, an average of 20 per season. But last season alone there were 146 instances of a DNP-Rest, a 70 percent increase from 2014-15.DNP-Rest has been on a sudden rise in the past three seasons. The notable exception is the 2011-12 season, when 71 instances of DNP-Rest were largely due to the lockout-shortened schedule that featured numerous back-to-back-to-backs.If DNP-Rest were a virus, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich would be patient zero. On Nov. 29, 2012, Popovich sent four of his best players -- Tim Duncan (then 36), Manu Ginobili (35), Tony Parker (30) and Danny Green (25) -- back home to San Antonio instead of to Miami for the Spurs fourth game in five nights and second game of a back-to-back set. Popovich called the strategic rest pretty logical, but then-NBA commissioner David Stern hit the Spurs with a $250,000 fine for sitting them during a nationally televised game. In a statement, Stern concluded that Popovichs decision ran contrary to the best interests of the NBA.Then an interesting thing happened: Coaches stopped explicitly resting players. Perhaps fearing league-office sanctions, the DNP-Rest practice plummeted to 19 in 2012-13, dropping to a quarter of what it was in 2011-12, the lockout-shortened season that featured numerous back-to-back-to-backs.Ever since that 2012-13 season, though, the practice of sitting healthy players has become commonplace, rising 668 percent over the next three seasons. The champion Cleveland Cavaliers were among six teams in the NBA whose healthy scratches rose into the double digits during the 2015-16 season. In 2014-15, there had been only two such teams: the Spurs and the Hawks, led by Pop disciple Mike Budenholzer. As the practice has taken hold across the league, commissioner Adam Silver has deviated from Sterns policy. Before last season, Silver held a news conference in which he said the league has taken a new approach when it came to handling schedule-related matters. And while Stern called the Spurs tactics unacceptable back in 2012, Silver in October deemed it the sophistication of minutes management.League sources say NBA players had occasionally taken games off before 2005-06, with teams typically covering it up with bogus injury labels such as hamstring soreness or a back strain. This season, with a record 46 players competing in the Summer Olympics in Rio, many around the league expect the number of healthy scratches to climb as teams manage the schedule.Says one long-time NBA exec: We have to strategically choose a few lambs to slaughter. If history holds, that slaughter shouuld begin in earnest -- as so many slaughterings have -- on the Ides of March. Jake Allen Jersey. About 70 percent of the DNP-Rests occurred after March 15 last season, when many teams have either thrown in the towel or required some relief before the playoff grind. James, Anthony, Kawhi Leonard and Paul all missed multiple games in April to grab some R&R. According to research by ESPNs Kevin Pelton, every game in April came on average with at least one healthy player sitting out. While April might be the cruelest month, the most common thread of DNP-Rests is games with no days off. Last season, 78 percent of DNP-Rests before the middle of March came in a back-to-back set. Within that group of back-to-backs, 74 percent of DNP-Rests came in the second game, and most came on the road. All three of Durants DNP-Rests came on second days of road back-to-backs; Kobe Bryant rested the first two such games on the schedule of his farewell tour.February, which saw only 2 percent of games being affected by a DNP-Rest, is perhaps not coincidentally when the All-Star break falls. The lesson: When the NBA inserts rest into the schedule, the coaches arent forced to disappoint its fans.GROWING UP ON?Japans sporadic broadcasts of Julius Erving and Magic Johnson games in the 80s, Masaru Teramoto fell in love with the game early. ?Some 30 years later, Teramoto is now an assistant professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where he gained notice with a 2015 study that detailed a link between concussions and the rise of the West Coast offense popularized by San Francisco 49ers coach Bill Walsh. Teramoto found that the scheme lent itself to a higher rate of concussions because its faster-paced short passes left receivers more vulnerable to blindside hits. When Teramoto has focused on basketball, he has been struck by the sheer velocity of the modern NBA and the physical toll it takes on its stars bodies.I think NBA games have changed, Teramoto says. Its so?athletic now. Its just unbelievable. In a study provided to ESPN.com that will be published publicly in the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport later this month, Teramoto researched three seasons of NBA injury data, from 2012-13 through 2014-15, in an attempt to determine if certain aspects of the schedule -- in particular, back-to-backs and travel -- led to players getting injured in games. What Teramoto found surprised him: Back-to-backs alone are not associated with greater instances of in-game injury, but back-to-backs that are played on the road are significant predictors of in-game injury, generating 3.5 times the injury rate as those played at home. The problem? Two out of every three back-to-backs are on the road.Teramoto notes that the league has reduced overall back-to-backs to an all-time low, down to a total of 488 from 533 last season (or 16.3 per team from 17.8 per team). In addition, the percentage of road back-to-backs has slightly declined, from 69 percent to 67 percent this upcoming season. However, the NBA simply might have too many games in too short a span.As much as possible, we would recommend that the NBA consider avoiding the back-to-back games on the road, Teramoto said. If theres not much they can do with an 82-game schedule, it might be time to consider drastically changing the structure of the schedule and cut, say, five games from the season.Granted, road back-to-backs werent the only predictors of in-game injury that Teramoto and his team found. Generally, away games were also associated with an increased risk of in-game injury as well as those back-to-backs that are played with 3-4 games in the previous five days. In the latter case, players had 3.3 times the rate of suffering injuries in back-to-backs compared with those who had played just 1-2 games in the same span.Put simply, game density can make a dangerous situation even worse.WHEN IT COMES to in-season rest, James is this generations Tim Duncan, who registered 37 DNP-Rests in the past decade before retiring this summer, far more than any other player.James has made it clear that playing in every game is no longer a priority. Two years ago, James disagreed with the NBA dabbling with the idea to shorten games from 48 to 44 minutes, and instead called for the NBA to cut games from the 82-game schedule. The minutes dont mean anything ... its just the games, James said then. We want to protect the prize, and the prize is the players.James words proved prescient. In that 2014-15 season, he went on an impromptu two-week break in Miami in the middle of the season, missing eight straight games in which the Cavs won only once. This past season, he skipped six games to rest, the same number of games that the entire Golden State Warriors did for the entire season en route to a record-breaking 73 wins.On Dec. 5, as he sat in silence, serenaded by the Le-BRON-is-TI-red chant, James, its worth noting, was not sitting still. Instead, he could be seen twirling his rings on his right hand -- diamond ones, mind you, not the championship rings he won with Miami.Yes, James was sitting out a back-to-back. Yes, the Cavs would lose the game by 15. Yes, seven months later, a healthy James would lead all Finals players in minutes. No ones shaming him now. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys AuthenticWholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

RIO DE JANEIRO -- It didnt take long for Justin Gatlins name to get dragged into the doping drama swirling at the Olympics. Bob Probert Red Wings Jersey Authentic .No big deal to Gatlin. The sprinter considered the best threat to stop Jamaican superstar Usain Bolt in the 100-meter final Sunday told The Associated Press hes not paying attention to what people are saying about him, and is not concerned with those who think he doesnt belong here.At the end of the day, the time has been served. Ive served that time, the 34-year-old Gatlin told the AP on Wednesday. Ive dealt with that punishment. Ive moved forward. Not everyone else has.Gatlin, who won gold at 100 meters at the 2004 Olympics, has been caught using banned substances twice. The first was for amphetamines, though arbitrators determined he didnt use them for doping but to treat attention deficit disorder. The second came for excessive testosterone in 2006 and resulted in a four-year ban.His name almost always comes up in the debate over how past dopers should be treated. In Rio, it surfaced in the wake of American swimmer Lilly Kings finger-wagging display toward Yulia Efimova, the Russian who was allowed to compete after a last-minute appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.Like Gatlin, Efimova has served a doping ban but was reinstated. But in refusing to bar the entire Russian team from the Olympics after investigations detailed state-sponsored doping in the country, the IOC put in a special caveat: Any Russian who had been previously banned for doping was not welcome. That rule was overturned by CAS, which had made similar decisions in previous cases, saying athletes cant be punished twice for the same offense.Kings criticism of Efimova -- and her icy stares toward the Russian before the two squared off in the pool -- instantly made King a voice in support of clean athletes everywhere. The dispute led to King, and many others, being asked whether it was fair that Gatlin was competing.Do I think people who have been caught doping should be on the team? They shouldnt. It is unfortunate we have to see that, King said. But, King said, she had to respect the rules.Same with sprinter Michael Johnson, the four-time Olympic gold medalist, who was asked whether Gatlin should be here. The issue people need to understand is that youre not going to solve the problem by pointing the finger at an athlete and making that athlete the villain, Johnson said, talking in general about athletes with violations. The athlete has been a villain and certainly has done damage to the sport. ... I dont appreciate that. But the athletes not the one thats making the rules that allows him to get back on the track or back in the pool, or back on the field.Gatlin does not see himself as a villain -- and does not buy into the now-hackneyed portrayal of him vs. Bolt as tracks version of Good vs. Evil.People want to label people and thats all they want to do, Gatlin said. They dont want to get to know them; they dont want to understand the story, in-depth.Though many of the headlines deride him, Gatlin insists hes popular in the athletes village. So many people have come up to me in the village and the cafeteria, showing me love, wanting me to go out there and do the best, be the best, he said. Taking pictures and everything. I get love, man.How will the fans -- and media -- react when he hits the track Saturday for the start of the mens 100?Hes not concerned.Ive worked hard, all the way from the bottom when I had nothing, Gatlin said. I worked hard to work back to where Im at now. I dont understand. The system has worked. I think people need to stop looking at trying to be the judge, the jury and executioner and let the system do its job.Authentic Red Wings Jersey . Kerry,  Just watched the shootout in the Coyotes/Leafs game and I have to ask, why was the James van Riemsdyk goal allowed to count?  All of the video replays we were shown on TV were inconclusive about whether the puck had entirely crossed the line or not.Ahead of the second Test between India and England, Sky Sports cricket statistician Richard Isaacs shines the spotlight on new Test venue, Visakhapatnam... Following their excellent draw in Rajkot in the first Test, England head into another city of the unknown when the second Test gets underway in Visakhapatnam on the east coast of India on Thursday morning. The ground with one of the longest venue names in Test history - the Dr. Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy Andhra Cricket Association-Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association Stadium, Visakhapatnam - will not only host its first Test, but also play host to England for the first time too. Vizag, as it is more popularly known, will become the 24th new Test venue in India and the third in five weeks following Indore and Rajkots introductions against New Zealand and England respectively. Watch some of the best moments from the drawn first Test between India and England in Rajkot The city, surrounded to the north and west by the beautiful Eastern Ghats hills and buffered by the Indian Ocean easing into the Bay of Bengal to its east, is no stranger to international cricket though. From 1988 to 2001, the Indira Priyadarshini Stadium staged five one-day internationals, but was discontinued in favour of the ACA-VDCA Stadium in 2003, despite the capacity of the stadiums being roughly similar. The move has certainly worked in Indias favour, as they have played seven internationals at their new digs (six ODIs and one T20I) and won six of them, only going down to the West Indies by two wickets with three balls remaining in a 2013 ODI. India celebrate a T20 series win over Sri Lanka at Visakhapatnam earlier this year The ground moves its focus to Test cricket for the first time and it is fancied that the pitch is likely to take plenty of spin. However, there have been two Ranji Trophy Group B matches played on this ground since the start of October 2016 and the figures from those games definitely show something different. The first game, between Orissa and Vidarbha, ended in a tame draw, with just 696 runs scored in 282.2 overs of play over four days - a snails pace rate of 2.46 runs per over. James Anderson bowls in the nets as he looks to return from injury for the second Test at Visakhapatnam But, it shouldnt be forgotten that, despite only Amit Mishra and Ishant Sharma having played in a first-class game on this ground back in 2011 for North Zone, India have played regularly in one-day internationals and thats where their record stands up.Especially Mishra, who has fond memories from his last appearance, ripping through New Zealands batting order with 5-18 in six overs in the ODI staged at the ground only a couple of weeks ago.His spin partners, Ravis Ashwin and Ravi Jadeja also have decent records, with four wickets in three games for Ashwin and three in two for Jadeja. Ashwins T20 record of 16 wickets in nine games at only 5.09 runs per over too shows he doesnt mind playing there. Might the move to Visakhapatnam result in a return to form for Ravichandran Ashwin (right)? And then there is Virat Kohli - who with four one-day international appearances at Vizag, has scored 399 runs, at an average of 99.75; innings of 118, 117, 99 and 65.So there is plenty for England to think about ahead of the second Test - they will go into the match with a slight psychological edge after the events in Rajkot, but it will count for little when the first ball is bowled on Thursday at this newest of Test venues. James Neeshams last Test match, in Brisbane last November, wasnt the happiest of experiences. Teemu Pulkkinen Red Wings Jersey . Having just come back into the New Zealand side after being deemed to have recovered fully from a stress fracture, he continued experiencing discomfort in his back while bowling, and was ruled out of the remainder of the series. Now, close to a year later, Neesham is back in the Test squad, and says he is back to full fitness, after a summer spent in England, playing limited-overs cricket for Derbyshire. The main result for me [from the Derbyshire stint] was I got through the whole season uninjured and basically had no issues with the back at all, Neesham said, after New Zealands squad arrived in India. So I suppose the aim now is to get the loading up again and make them good enough for Test cricket.Neesham said he had worked specifically, while in England, on getting back to cricket-fitness.It was more tweaking little things, he said. We did a lot of work on the rehab prior to the Australian series last year, and were pretty comprehensive on that side of things, but I think over in Derby it was more about, I suppose, finding what works and what doesnt, and changing up especially the gym programme a little bit - basically making cricket the number-one priority as opposed to regaining the strength base and fitness base, which it was before Australia.Since the start of his international career, Neesham felt his game, particularly his batting, had become less carefree, and ahead of the Tests against India, he hoped to return to playing his natural game.Im basically looking to go back to how I played when I first came in to international cricket, he said. I think I was a bit more carefree and a bit more, I suppose, laissez faire, especially with batting, and then once you start feeling the pressure of international cricket and wanting results and wanting runs, it can curb your game a little bit, which I think is one of the traps I fell into.So Im just looking to go back to playing my natural game. Its a bit of a cliché, but hopefully runs and wickets will flow from there.Though he has visited India previously, Neesham is touring the country with the Test side for the first time. He hoped he could feed off some of the more experienced members of the squad such as Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson.Ive had an A tour, Champions League, and then IPL, so Ive had three tours over here now, and you learn something new every time you come over, he said. And there are obviously guys in the team that have come over here a lot more times than I have, so Ive been looking to glean some knowledge off guys like Ross and Kane, especially about playing spin and playing their spinners in particular, but I think, as I said before, if you play your natural game and have some clear plans about how youre going to go about scoring runs, then that should hold you in good stead. Tomas Tatar Jersey . -- In a span of seven Washington Redskins offensive plays, Justin Tuck sacked Robert Griffin III four times. Niklas Kronwall Jersey . They reached the 100-point plateau for the fourth time in five games, bested the visiting Trail Blazers by 34 in the paint and scored 19 of the final 25 points in regulation. Dan Quinn hopes hes got his Atlanta Falcons ready for just this moment. The Falcons started October with back-to-back wins over last years Super Bowl teams, Carolina and Denver. Then came a pair of mentally challenging defeats. First, it was a two-point loss at Seattle. Then, it was an overtime loss at home to San Diego last week caused, in part, by Quinns failed decision to go for it on fourth down on his side of midfield in the extra period.Thats kind of where a lot of your character is tested, when its under duress, Quinn said. Weve really spent a lot of time developing this mental toughness that we have. We spent a good bit of our offseason demonstrating our language for it. Knowing this game, theres going to be difficult moments, difficult times, and how do you reset? Its not just coach-speak. Quinn brought in a group of Special Forces soldiers during training camp. He hopes their message will pay off when the Falcons (4-3) host the Green Bay Packers (4-2) in a big NFC showdown on Sunday afternoon. We really developed our own standard of the player accountability to one another, Quinn said. Knowing at times, bad things happen, and youre going to be in a dark spot. How do you get through? It takes a lot of mental toughness. One of the things that I love about our team right now is how hard they want to play for one another. Knowing that the guy next to you can be counted on, and the guy next to you youre counting on, those are really important topics. Although theyre difficult processes to go through, we dont like it but we are ready to take on the challenge and onto the next. The next challenge is a Green Bay offense that found life in a Thursday night victory over Chicago. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who had struggled through most of the first five games, turned to a quick-hitting passing game to complete a team-record 39 passes, with receivers Davante Adams and Randall Cobb and receiver-turned-running back Ty Montgomery all catching at least 10.Rodgers said the momentum from that game cant be carried over into this game, but the offense is feeling much better about things after piling up 406 yards and controlling the ball for almost 40 minutes against Chicago. On the road and in an environment like that, youve gott to start fast and take the crowd out of it, Rodgers said. Tomas Tatar Red Wings Jersey. Weve been in there multiple times and know how loud it can be when its rocking. Theyve lost a couple in a row, so Im sure theyre looking for a bounce-back game, and were going down there with some confidence. Weve won in that building before and weve won big games on the road before. Weve just got to put it all together.Green Bays offense will need a repeat performance because Atlantas offense has been nothing short of dominant. The Falcons are No. 1 in scoring (32.7 per game), No. 1 in total offense (433.6 yards per game) and No. 2 in passing offense (319.0 yards per game). Matt Ryan has thrown for at least 200 yards in a league-record 46 consecutive games and has a glitzy passer rating of 113.6, and receiver Julio Jones is on pace for 1,900 yards and topped 250 against the Packers in 2014 at Lambeau Field.Hes been exceptional, Ryan said. Hes one of the best players in the NFL and hes played that way week in and week out for us. Theres so many things both in the run game and the pass game. Hes played great so far this year.On paper, this game projects to a shootout dominated by the quarterbacks. With injuries sidelining running backs Eddie Lacy and James Starks, the Packers top player in the backfield is Montgomery, who the Packers list as a receiver on the depth chart. Meanwhile, Atlantas defense ranks 27th in scoring, 26th in yards allowed and 31st in passing yards allowed. On the flip side, Ryan is off to the best start of his career and will be attacking a Packers secondary that might be without its three top cornerbacks. We trust our defense to do their job, but we know weve got to be efficient and score points, especially in the red zone, Rodgers said. Weve been doing a great job on third down, ranking at the top of the league there, but the red zones been slipping a little bit. Weve been not scoring (touchdowns) as often as we need to do. In a game where youve got Matt playing so well and Julio obviously having a big season, youve got to expect them to make some plays, so were going to have to score some points. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

The Toronto Maple Leafs hope to pick up where they left off before the Olympic break when they visit the John Tavares-less New York Islanders in Thursdays clash at Nassau Coliseum. Marcus Williams Womens Jersey . Toronto was one of several NHL teams that had hot streaks interrupted by the NHLs Olympic break. The Maple Leafs had won five of six right before the hiatus and the club is 11-2-1 over its last 14 games. With 70 points, the Maple Leafs are currently holding on to the seventh of eight playoff spots in the East. Toronto also is just one point in back of both Tampa Bay and Montreal for second place in the Atlantic Division. The top three teams in each division get an automatic bid to the postseason. Toronto is aiming to qualify for the postseason for the second straight spring. Last season the Leafs halted the longest playoff drought in franchise history by making the postseason for the first time since 2004. The Maple Leafs emerge from the break with a road-heavy schedule ahead of them over the next few weeks. Toronto, which is just 11-12-5 as the away club this season, will play two straight and eight of its next 10 on the road. The Islanders, meanwhile, get to continue a five-game homestand on Thursday, but theyll do so without the services of captain and star centerman Tavares. Tavares helped Team Canada win the Olympic tournament, although he missed the semifinals and gold medal game after suffering a partial tear in the MCL of his left knee. Although the injury was originally feared to be worse, it will still keep Tavares sidelined for the remainder of the regular season. However, he will not need surgery as was originally believed. The culmination of the regular season could mark the end of the 2013-14 campaign for the Islanders, who are already 14 points out of the Easts final playoff berth. Tavares, who expects to miss 8-to-12 weeks while recovering, is New Yorks leading scorer with 66 points and is tied for the team lead with 24 goals. He is also third in the NHL in points. The Islanders lost seven of eight games before the break in a stretch that did serious damage to the clubs postseason chances. Without Tavares, the club expects to have a difficult time getting back into the thick of the playoff race. New York and the Leafs have split two meetings so far in 2013-14, but the Isles are 4-1-1 over the last six encounters between the clubs. Toronto, however, has won three straight and four of the past five games at the Coliseum. The Isles are 8-14-8 as the host team this season. The club is playing the third test of its five-game homestand tonight and will complete the stay on Long Island after welcoming New Jersey and Florida on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Detroit Red Wings at Ottawa Senators The 2013-14 season has largely been a disappointing one for the Ottawa Senators so far, but the club hopes to start anew when it begins the post-Olympics schedule with Thursdays home tilt against the Detroit Red Wings. The Senators, a playoff team in each of the past two seasons, are only three points behind Detroit for the last postseason berth in the Eastern Conference, but Ottawa has struggled with consistency in 2013-14. Ottawa posted a 9-2-3 record during one of its best stretches of the season from Dec. 28-Jan. 30, but the club then went 2-2-1 to begin the month of February. The Sens also ended their pre-Olympics slate by losing 7-2 to the Boston Bruins on Feb. 8. The Sens have one game at home before jetting off to Vancouver, where it will play an outdoor game against the Canucks on Saturday. The game at BC Place, which features a retractable roof, kicks off a four-game road trip for Ottawa. Star defenseman Erik Karlsson is coming off an Olympic run that saw him help Team Sweden pick up a silver medal at the recent Sochi Games, and he is eager to aid the Senators in the push to the playoffs. "Im looking forward to start playing hockey here again," Karlsson told the Senators official website. "It feels like the vibe is good in the room and were looking forward to the last stretch here." Karlsson was a teammate of former Sens captain Daniel Alfredsson at the Olympics and his countryman will play his third career game against Ottawa on Thursday. Alfredsson spent his first 17 NHL seasons with the Senators before leaving to sign with Detroit over the summer. Alfredsson, who was greeted with a standing ovation by the Ottawa crowd when he returned to Scotiabank Place on Dec. 1, has one goal and one assist in his two games against the Senators this season. On the injury front, Ottawa forward Clarke MacArthur and defenseman Chris Phillips headed into the Olympic break with injuries, but both players are expected to be ready to go for Thursdays game. Ottawa is 2-1-0 against the Red Wings this season, but Detroit has won five of the last seven meetings against the Senators overall. The Wings have won three straight, four of five and six of the past eight meetings at Scotiabank Place. The Red Wings earned a victory in their first game after the break, downing the Montreal Canadiens in overtime on Wednesday. Gustav Nyquist scored with just 27.3 seconds remaining in the extra session to help lift Detroit to the 2-1 road win. Detroit allowed the Canadiens to tie the game on Brian Giontas goal with just 28.7 seconds left in regulation but recovered to win the tilt in OT. Johan Franzen, returning from a concussion that sidelined him for 22 of Detroits final 23 contests prior to the stoppage, assisted on Nyquists game- winner as well as Todd Bertuzzis first-period power-play goal. Jimmy Howard stopped 19-of-20 shots to help the Red Wings improve to 4-1-1 over their last six outings. "We played a great game. We didnt give them much room," said Franzen. Detroit is playing the third test of a four-game road trip that began before the Olympics. The Red Wings, who are 16-9-4 as the guest this season, will cap the swing Tuesday in New Jersey. Minnesota Wild at Edmonton Oilers The Minnesota Wild hope to maintain a firm grasp on a playoff spot as they visit the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night, when both clubs return to action following the Olympic break. The Wild come out of the hiatus a distant 10 points behind the Colorado Avalanche for third place in the Central Division, but with a five-point edge for one of the two wild card spots in the Western Conference. Minnesota won its final two games before the Olympic break and is 4-1-2 in its last seven games. While Zach Parise and Ryan Suter return from a disappointing showing by Team USA in Sochi, Russia, Mikael Granlund had a solid performance to help Finland win bronze. Granlund, who turned 22 on Wednesday, had three goals and seven points during the Olympics, getting named to the All-Tournament team. "You can tell that theyve been playing at a high speed over there, and I expect them to step right in where they left off," Wild coach Mike Yeo told his teams website of his three Olympians. Minnesota is looking to get healthy for the stretch run and is close to getting forward Mikko Koivu back from a right ankle injury that required surgery. He suffered a break blocking a shot on Jan. 4 and was unable to play for Team Finland. Koivu may return tonight or Friday versus the Vancouver Canucks. Goaltender Niklas Backstrom, meanwhile, has been out since Jan. 30 because of a strained abdominal, but could suit up tonight. If not, John Curry would serve as the backup to Darcy Kuemper. Backstrom is 25-4-1 with a 1.91 goals against average and four shutouts in his career versus the Oilers, while Kuemper has faced them once before. That came this season, a 4-1 home victory on Jan. 16 in which he made 20 saves. Minnesota has won five of six and 14 of its last 17 versus the Oilers, including two straight and seven of eight in Edmonton. With the playoffs about out of reach, the Oilers are looking to finish strong ahead of next season. They are last in the Western Conference with 47 points, 18 out of a playoff spot and five ahead of Buffalo for the fewest in the NHL. Edmonton did win five of seven before the break and kick off a five-game homestand tonight. One thing to watch for the Oilers is the situation in net, where the clubs have a pair of upcoming free agents in Ilya Bryzgalov and Ben Scrivens. Bryzgalov signed with Edmonton during the season, while Scrivens was acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings. Head coach Dallas Eakins is looking for both to play well and is unsure of how the starts will be split between the two. "Its hard to say. I dont have a crystal ball next to me so itll depend on their play," said Eakins. "It may come down to if Ben plays well and Bryz is playing well, yeah we may give Ben a couple of extra starts. I think Bryz would understand that. Or, we might split it down the middle. I wont know until we get started here." Bryzgalov is 7-8-0 with a 2.64 GAA in his career versus the Wild, while Scrivens faced Minnesota for the first time in his career when he made his Oilers debut on Jan. 16 . He took that 4-1 loss, giving up four goals on 33 shots.Marshon Lattimore Youth Jersey . DETROIT -- Joe Nathan expects to fit in just fine in Detroit -- and now the Tigers dont have to face the closer who has dominated them more than perhaps any other in baseball. Nathan agreed with Detroit on a two-year contract with a club option for 2016, enabling the Tigers to accomplish one of their main objectives this off-season by adding one of the games most accomplished closers to the bullpen. The three-time defending AL Central champions announced the deal Wednesday, two days after trading right-handed starter Doug Fister to Washington. Terms were not disclosed. "Why would I come here?" Nathan asked rhetorically. "I think the question is, why wouldnt I? This team is ready to win. Theyre ready to win now. ... Its not just about getting to the post-season. For me, its about getting to the big one." Nathan, who turned 39 last month, has never pitched in the World Series. He had 43 saves in 46 chances for the Texas Rangers last season. Its been a busy off-season already for Detroit, which traded slugger Prince Fielder to Texas for Ian Kinsler in a move that, coupled with the trade of Fister, gave the Tigers more financial flexibility. Detroits bullpen was unsettled for much of last season. Joaquin Benoit eventually performed well as the closer, but he is now a free agent. "A very big part of what we were trying to accomplish was to get a closer," general manager Dave Dombrowski said. "This was always a goal of ours." Nathan posted a 1.39 ERA last season, then declined a $9 million option that would have kept him with the Rangers. Nathan wanted at least a two-year agreement, and the Tigers were willing to give it to him. Now that Mariano Rivera has retired, Nathan is baseballs active leader with 341 saves. Hes pitched for San Francisco, Minnesota and Texas -- and hes been particularly dominant when facing the Tigers, converting all 36 of his save chances with a 1.44 ERA. Thats more saves than any other pitcher has against the Tigers. Nathan even helped hand Detroit one of its most crushing losses in franchise history -- he pitched in relief when the Twins beat the Tigers in extra innings of a one-game playoff for the 2009 division title. "Probably the besst game that Ive ever been a part of," Nathan said. Marcus Williams Saints Jersey. "Sorry to bring it up." Nathan missed the 2010 season with the Twins following surgery on his right elbow. He struggled in 2011 but pitched well for the Rangers the last two seasons. Detroit went into last season without a set closer, and after the Tigers brought Jose Valverde back and that didnt work, they went with Benoit. He finished the season with 24 saves in 26 chances, but in Game 2 of the AL championship series, he allowed a tying grand slam by Bostons David Ortiz that was a turning point in the series. The Red Sox went on to win in six games, rallying against the Detroit bullpen again in the finale. Besides trading Fielder and Fister, the Tigers hired Brad Ausmus to replace manager Jim Leyland, who stepped down. The changes will be clear on the field next season. Dombrowski said Wednesday that Miguel Cabrera will move from third base to first -- a switch that seemed likely from the moment Fielder was traded. The Tigers are hoping Nick Castellanos can take over at third. After trading Fister, the Tigers are prepared to move promising left-hander Drew Smyly from the bullpen to the starting rotation. The bullpen will look a lot different next year, especially since Dombrowski says Benoit is unlikely to be back. Detroit declined an option on right-hander Jose Veras, and the Tigers got left-hander Ian Krol in the deal this week with Washington. Dombrowski said he wouldnt think the Tigers would be involved in any other major moves in free agency, although Detroit has been known to pull off an occasional surprise, whether its a free agent signing or a trade. The general manager was asked if the team is now better positioned to sign somebody to a long-term deal, such as Tigers right-hander Max Scherzer, who won the American League Cy Young Award this year and is a free agent after next season. "Well I wouldnt use any specific names, but Id say -- yes, we are," Dombrowski said. "You try to win in the short term, which were trying to do. Were doing everything we can. But youre also trying to maintain long-term success, so youre always trying to work on both of those things."Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

The Vancouver Canucks have reportedly bought out forward David Booth. Ales Hemsky Jersey . The 29-year-old was due $4.75 million in the remaining year of the six-year contract he signed with the Florida Panthers prior to the 2009-10 season. (SportsNetwork. Jayson Tatum Green Jersey .com) - The Toronto Raptors set their sights on a second straight victory with the Oklahoma City Thunder visiting the Air Canada Centre tonight riding a two game streak of their own. The Raptors snapped a two-game losing streak in Wednesdays 107-100 road victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, while the Thunder dispatched the Chicago Bulls on Monday and then bested the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday as part of a three-game road swing. Toronto bested the Thunder in Oklahoma City on Dec. 22 to snap a three-game series losing streak. OKC has won two of its last three in Toronto. DeMar DeRozan poured in a game-high 31 points and Kyle Lowry tallied 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists in Wednesdays win over the Pelicans. Amir Johnson added 17 points and nine boards for the Raptors, who have won three of their last five. Tyler Hansbrough chipped in a game-high 13 rebounds and Greivis Vasquez contributed 14 points. "We understand we needed this game, plus we have a long flight back home that we didnt want to sit on this loss with," DeRozan said. The Raptors will get a boost to their lineup this evening, as centre Jonas Valanciunas will return to the lineup as a starter. Valanciunas, who left Tuesdays loss to the Atlanta Hawks late in the third quarter with a lower back sprain, participated in the shoot around Friday morning and was declared ready to play about an hour before game time.  Kevin Durant had 35 points, 11 rebounds and six assists to lead the Thunder over the Cavaliers on Thursday. It was his 33rd consecutive game with 25-plus points, which is the longest run of his career and the longest in the NBA since Michael Jordan strung 40 straight together during the 1986-87 season. "My shot was a little flat and I missed some easy ones," said Durant, who shot 12-for-21 from the field. "I just tried to play as hard as I can on defense and make winning basketball plays." Serge Ibaka supplied 16 points and 11 boards, while Reggie Jackson added 13 points and six assists for the Thunder, who have won four of their last five games. Star Thunder guard Russell Westbrook did not suit up to rest his surgically- repaired knee. Oklahoma City is 1 1/2 behind the San Antonio Spurs for Western Conference supremacy. The Raptors are 2 1/2 games ahead of the Brooklyn Nets for the lead in the Atlantic Division, but they are only a half-game in front of the Bulls for the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Toronto will play two straight north of the border and will host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. Jayson Tatum Authentic Jersey .J. Mayo made seven three-pointers and scored 25 points, Ersan Ilyasova added 20, and the Milwaukee Bucks placed seven players in double figures in a 130-110 rout of the Philadelphia 76ers, who lost their 11th straight game on Monday night. Jayson Tatum Jersey .  City has reached new heights under manager Manuel Pellegrini as they transition from big spending/immediate impact to perennial contender.  Yaya Toures seeming discontent Tuesday may complicate that, as does the little issue of Financial Fair Play.First base has always been a position for power hitters, the mashers who can provide home runs and RBI to anchor your fantasy team and the position will improve its depth with a couple of additions this season. The most notable is Detroit Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera, who moves across the infield now that Prince Fielder has moved on to Texas. No matter what position he plays, Cabrera is a top-tier hitter. Since 2007, he leads them majors with 261 home runs, 856 RBI and 706 runs scored, along with a .326 batting average. Leading all of baseball in those categories, with consistent production year after year, makes Cabrera the biggest difference-maker, even when compared with other sluggers at first base. Arizonas Paul Goldschmidt has quickly emerged as an elite option too, in part because he adds stolen bases to his impressive power numbers. Over the past two seasons, Goldschmidt has swiped 33 bases, most among first basemen, and is one of two (Edwin Encarnacion is the other) to record at least 50 homers and 200 RBI while scoring at least 180 runs. Unless your league has an on-base percentage as a category, there is a large gap between the value of Cincinnatis Joey Votto in real life (where hes MVP calibre) and in fantasy, where hes among the top handful at first base. Vottos tendency to walk limits his RBI upside, which is a factor in his fantasy appeal. When you move beyond the top handful of players, there are still plenty of appealing options. Baltimores Chris Davis has outrageous power. He also strikes out a lot, which slowed his arrival as an everyday player but, after 86 home runs and 368 strikeouts in the past two seasons, hes settled in with the Orioles. Two of the more interesting options at first base are long-time stars. Prince Fielder has had more than 100 RBI in six of the past seven seasons, but last years 25 home runs and .819 OPS were career-lows. Going to a hitter-friendly park in Texas does seem like a decent opportunity for Fielder to have a relative bounceback in his numbers. The other veteran, who has shown more decline, is Albert Pujols, who is coming off his worst season and is pretty much a wildcard for the first time in his career. If Pujols regains his form, even somewhat, then 30 home runs, 100 RBI and a .300 average is possible, particularly coming off a season in which his batting aaverage on balls in play was a career-low . Jayson Tatum Swingman Jersey. .258 (same as his average), but there is also the concern that a 34-year-old Pujols isnt going to ever have that legendary bat again. If youd rather avoid the risk of those veterans, Adrian Gonzalez is a steady enough performer and Freddie Freeman is a productive younger slugger who has driven in 203 runs over the past two seasons. Shifting to first base from catcher, Minnesotas Joe Mauer doesnt have the power of a typical top tier first baseman, but hes a career .323 hitter, so if he can stay in the lineup, Mauer will have an opportunity to make a difference in that way. Kansas Citys Eric Hosmer appeared to get back on the right track last season and San Franciscos Brandon Belt has continued to make progress. Both are young, with room to grow, so they offer worthwhile upside if you cant secure the best at the position. Upside comes further down the list too. Whether its White Sox rookie Jose Abreu, the Cuban slugger or across town with the Cubs Anthony Rizzo, who could be prime for big numbers with a little better luck (after a .258 BABIP in 2013). You probably wont have to pay premium prices for someone like Bostons Mike Napoli, even though hes hit at least 20 home runs in six straight seasons, and Oaklands Brandon Moss could be a nice source of mid-to-late round power after slugging 51 home runs in 711 at-bats over the past two seasons. St. Louis Matt Adams is a slugger on his way up and due for a full-time role this year after hitting 17 home runs in 296 at-bats last year. If you get desperate, maybe consider the Yankees Mark Teixeira, who may be ruined by a wrist injury, but has such a track record of putting up power numbers that hes worth a late-round look; certainly around the time that youre willing to venture down the road for Ryan Howard. Anyway, there are a lot of viable candidates to hold down first base for your team, but if your league incorporates corner infielders and DH spots, suddenly first base can thin out in short order, so dont wait too long. Take a good one relatively early, then worry about the upside/bounceback/sleeper options later. ST. Tarik Cohen Bears Jersey . LOUIS -- Pinch-hitter Greg Garcia was just looking for some way to reach base in the 12th inning Tuesday night. He did it the hard way, getting hit by a pitch from Justin Grimm with one out and the bases loaded to force in the winning run in the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs. "I knew Grimm threw hard," Garcia said. "I just tried to put the ball in play anyway I can." Jhonny Peralta led off the 12th with a single for his third hit. Grimm (1-2) retired Matt Holliday on a popup, but walks to Allen Craig and Yadier Molina loaded the bases for Garcia. Garcia had a 1-2 count when he was plunked by Grimm. "I saw the pitch out of his hand and knew it was in," Garcia said. "When it got close to the plate I saw it had a chance to hit me. Ill take that one 100 per cent of the time." Seth Maness (1-2) tossed a scoreless 12th for the win. Both teams used seven pitchers. St. Louis manager Mike Matheny said he had not planned to use Maness, who had pitched the last three games. "We were planning on staying away from him if possible, but it turned out we needed him," Matheny said. Trailing 3-2 going into the ninth, Chicago rallied to tie it off closer Trevor Rosenthal on Emilio Bonifacios RBI single with two outs. The blown save was the first for Rosenthal in 11 opportunities. "Thats tough, and you could feel it," Matheny said. "But they just put their head down and kept playing. That would have been a tough one to lose." Matt Adams and Matt Carpenter also drove in runs for the Cardinals. Luis Valbuena hit a two-run homer off Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright as part of a three-hit night. "The guys ended up fighting, doing the best they could," Cubs manager Rick Renteria said. "We just fell a little short." The Cardinals took a 3-2 lead in the sixth after Peter Bourjos led off with a bunt single against Carlos Villanueva. Bourjos went to second on a grounder, stole third on ball four pitch to pinch-hitter Jon Jay and scored on Carpenters grounder. Peralta added an RBI single. Cubs starter Jake Arrieta went four innings, allowing one run on four hits and five walks. But he helped himself when he led off the third with a single and scored on Valbuenas homer. St. Louis got one of those runs back in the bottom of the third on a two-out, RBI infield single by Adams. NOTES: The Cubs are 3-15 in games decided by two runs or less. ... Carpenter went 0 for 5 and is hitless in his last 13 at-bats. ... With more than 65 hours of exclusive live coverage, TSN delivers all the action beginning with Draw 1 on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.We are just four days into the tournament, but there has been no shortage of talking points at Brazil 2014 both on and off the pitch. The goals have been flowing with 37 scored through the first 11 matches, making it the highest scoring World Cup since 1958. Here are the top five things that caught my attention in the tournament so far. 1. Pain for Spain There really was no bigger story for me during the opening days of the tournament than the remarkable fall of the defending Champions Spain at the hands of the Netherlands. It wasnt just the size of the win by the Dutch in a repeat of the 2010 World Cup Final, it was the manner of the victory that shook the soccer world. Four goals is the biggest margin of defeat for a defending Champion in World Cup history. From Robin Van Persies stunning diving header, to Arjen Robbens exceptional two-goal performance it was an incredible, clinical display from the Netherlands, and they could have finished with more goals. All of this came after Spain had taken the lead, and almost went 2-0 up just before RVPs equalizer. However, as impressive as the Dutch were, much of the surprise was about how Spain crumbled. In the second half, the defending World and European Champions looked anything but. The performance of the normally reliable Iker Casillas was just one black mark on a bad afternoon at the office for the Spaniards, and a late miss from close range by Fernando Torres summed up a bleak afternoon. Spain lost their first match in 2010 and went on to win the World Cup. It will be fascinating to see how they respond this time around. 2. Magical Messi There was much talk heading into the tournament about Lionel Messis status as one of the true soccer greats. Can he be on a pedestal alongside the likes of Pele and Diego Maradona if he doesnt win a World Cup? Messi showed on Sunday night what we have seen many times before for Barcelona. Whatever the game, whoever is around him, he has the ability to single-handedly influence the outcome. Argentina were not at their best against Bosnia and Herzegovina, and neither was Messi, but with his team holding a slender one goal advantage against the World Cup newcomers, Messi scored a fantastic goal, leaving defenders trailing in his wake. It was a piece of individual brilliance that provided a spark needed by his team. Whether Messi wins the tournament or not is irrelevant to me - he has already shown plenty for both club and country to be classed as one of the Worlds elite players of all time. 3. Young Lions I didnt expect much from England heading into the tournament, but I was pleasantly surprised by their performance in the 2-1 defeat to Italy on Saturday night. With young attacking flair, they looked dangerous going forward, and despite losing the match showed there is much to look forward to in the future. Adam Shaheen Bears Jersey. Raheem Sterling certainly repaid the faith shown by England boss Roy Hodgson with the Liverpool teenager putting in an excellent performance. One of the big debates afterwards was the performance of Wayne Rooney. He missed an excellent chance with England down 2-1 but struggled to influence the game from an unfamiliar position wide on the left. If England are to be successful, they need to get the best out of Rooney, and Im not sure that position will enable that to happen. With Costa Ricas surprise victory over Uruguay, it leaves the group wide open. Italy will be favourites to advance in first place. England will need to tighten up defensively but if they can produce similar attack-minded performances in their next two matches, I think they have a good chance to advance. 4. Croatia Robbed After all the build up to the World Cup, when the action finally began, it was a massive letdown that the post-game talking point was about refereeing and a controversial penalty. Neymar and Oscar produced star performances as the host nation got off to a winning start, but the game really turned Brazils way when Dejan Lovren was judged to have fouled Fred in the box. It should never have been a penalty. The contact was minimal, and Fred flopped like an Olympic diver, but Japanese referee Yuichi Nishimura pointed to the spot and the penalty gave Brazil the lead they needed to settle some nerves. It was a very poor decision, but fortunately in the days that followed, the action has been so good that the officials have not been the centre if attention. However, Croatian fans will find it difficult to forgive and forget as they were in the game until the referee changed the course of the match. 5. Ouch! Poor old Gary Lewin. Immediately after Daniel Sturridge scored Englands levelling goal in the first half against Italy on Saturday night, cameras zoomed in on the touch line near the England bench. A crowd of people, including medics, were huddled around someone who was lying flat out on the floor. At first there was confusion. Who was it? What had gone wrong? Turns out the man down injured was actually the England physio! Gary Lewin had hurt himself while celebrating Englands goal. He jumped up, landed on a water bottle and dislocated his ankle. It was an embarrassing situation at the time, but it will leave Lewin with a good story in years to come of how he injured himself during a World Cup match and had to be stretchered off! Roy Hodgson confirmed the injury after the match and also that Lewins World Cup is over. A disappointing end for the physio, but at least he will have expert help on hand throughout his recovery. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
