How Tati Westbrook's Blendiful puffs compare to a makeup sponge Today we are going to be trying out the Tati Beauty Blendiful, which is essentially a makeup puff that blends powders as well as liquids, which I've never heard of.Get more news about cosmetic puff producer, you can vist our website! If you don't already know who Tati is, she is a huge YouTuber. Tati Beauty is obviously her brand, and this is their second product.Makeup sponges and brushes tend to soak up a lot of product, which is a waste of money for you. So, maybe this puff can actually help with managing product waste. To see if the Blendiful is actually as revolutionary and amazing as Tati says it is, I'm gonna be testing it out on its blendability, its ease of use, and its product waste. I'm gonna go in one side of my face with the Blendiful and the other side with my normal sponge just to see if there really are any differences in the blending and if my makeup looks any better on the Blendiful side. I'm on the Tati Beauty website right now, and the six steps that she says you can use the Blendiful for are primer, foundation, concealer, contour, powder, and highlight. So we're gonna be trying out all of those. I just blended in the left side, just with my fingers, and now we're gonna go in with the Blendiful for the first time! I'm gonna fold it, I think. Yeah, I'm gonna fold it. So, I'm just gonna fold it like this, and I wanna do a swiping and tapping motion. So, let's start with that. It's not as crazy as I thought it would feel. It feels pretty fine. That blended this primer in in, like, two seconds. Holy crap. Done. OK, primer's on. That was so fast. Now I'm gonna go in with foundation, I guess, which is like, for me, the most exciting part about this thing. I'm just gonna put some on the back of my hand and dip in with the Blendiful. I'm, like, nervous. Eee! We got our foundation on there. It kind of feels like I'm rubbing a towel on my face. It's not, like, the most comfortable makeup application I've ever had. It just feels strange. It doesn't feel normal. It is very smooth, though. Like, it doesn't feel like it's tugging or pulling at all. Wow. This is probably the fastest makeup application I think I've ever done, though. It's, like, you're done. All you need is a few swipes. I'm gonna get up close to the mirror just to see what's.... I thought I was gonna be seeing, like, a lot of streaks, and I see nothing. It looks amazing. This is cool. I like it. All right, let's keep on using this Blendiful. I'm gonna go in with my concealer now. And then I shall blend. I'm gonna switch to the pointed end 'cause I feel like it's gonna get in there just, like, a little bit better than the round side. Let's blend out this concealer. I think I'll try to pat first, like I normally would with my sponge and concealer. Literally, this thing is finishing my makeup so fast. I'm, like, freaking out. It usually takes me so long to do all of these things because I just have to go back in so many times to, like, make sure that it's... literally what? This is crazy! Literally all I am doing is several tapping motions, and it's, like, done. That's all you need to do. I love it, so. Literally what? How? How is it doing it so fast? That was two seconds. Tati. This thing is like magic.
Is biodegradable better? While experts agree we should use less plastic in any form, some say as long as plastics are here to stay, we should be using degradable materials—and also pushing governments to help us dispose of them.Get more news about Biodegradable Packaging, you can vist our website! But amid confusion about what is or isn't biodegradable, and in the absence of proper disposal facilities, some fear these "magical" solutions could lead to further environmental havoc and even encourage more wasteful consumption. "People tend to believe they're contributing to the protection of the planet while buying these products, but it's not at all the case," Gaelle Haut, EU affairs coordinator at Surfrider Foundation Europe, told AFP. Synthetic petrochemical plastics can linger in the environment for hundreds of years. Biodegradable plastics generally break down quicker but they do need to be disposed of correctly, whether it's in an industrial compost facility or a home compost, Haut said. But most people don't have access to such facilities, meaning biodegradable plastics generally end up in recycling centres or landfills—or worse, the environment. 'A lot of confusion' From the United States to Europe to China, supermarket shelves are increasingly stocked with items packaged with "bioplastic" or "biodegradable", "compostable" or "sustainable" plastics. Some companies even claim to have developed edible plastics. Many governments don't regulate such claims, and most consumers don't know what they mean. Bacardi says its biodegradable bottle for spirits will hit the shelves this year. Confectionery giant Mars-Wrigley has announced the roll-out of biodegradable Skittles packaging in the United States. And late last year, California start-up Cove launched what it said was the world's first biodegradable plastic water bottle.Several companies have emerged in recent years to help certify biodegradability claims and help consumers make sense of the terminology. "There is a lot of confusion on the market," said Philippe Dewolfs, business manager at TUEV Austria, one of the world's leading certifying agencies for biodegradable plastics, which is paid by companies to assess materials. Counterintuitively, bio-based plastics are not necessarily compostable or biodegradable, he said. These plastics contain at least some biomass feedstock like corn, potato starch, wood pulp or sugarcane—but may also contain fossil fuel-derived materials. Conversely, biodegradable plastics may contain no biomass, but are designed to break down into CO2, water and biomass—usually in an industrial or home compost facility. Compostable items can either break down in industrial or home compost. In some cases they may biodegrade in landfill, but it depends on moisture, microorganisms, and the composition of the product.
The rapid evolution of modern laser cutting technology The speed in which fiber laser cutting machines operate is hard to ignore. They make the CO2 laser cutting machines from only 10 years ago look painfully slow.Get more news about laser cutting line, you can vist our website! But speed is not the only reason that metal fabricators are investing regularly in new laser cutting capabilities. Today’s machines have automated tasks that even the most top-of-the-line systems from a few years ago relied on operator intervention to accomplish. As metal fabricators learn to do more with less—not by choice, but because of the tight labor market—they are leaning on technology to keep production moving efficiently through the shop. That same thinking applies to laser cutting. Consider what state-of-the-art laser cutting technology does for the modern-day metal fabricator. This is where powerful nesting algorithms, found in modern laser cutting machine programming software, can make a difference. A metal fabricator can go from simple static nests that match the flow of work through the shop to more dynamic nesting where different jobs might be included on the same nest to maximize material utilization and reduce scrap. This type of programming power results in nests with more intelligent common-line cutting. For example, the laser makes one cut that ends up being a common edge for two distinct parts. Computing power can take that nesting arrangement and expand it to include four parts that might share cut lines in a two-by-two grid or even a collection of different parts that share one common edge resulting from one cut. Today’s nesting algorithms are simply more robust than those from five years ago. The computing power available to today’s machines make them much more efficient in figuring out not only the best ways to place as many parts as possible on one sheet without wasting too much material, but also in calculating the most efficient way to make the cuts to maximize production time and minimize consumables wear. Eliminating Manual Intervention If a laser operator has been around for at least 10 years or more, he or she remembers what was needed to ensure proper cutting. They had to be more engaged with the cutting process, staying on top of numerous factors such as manually inspecting, changing, centering the nozzle, and calibrating the focus position to ensure that it was correct for each material setup. Needless to say, prepping the laser for cutting wasn’t as easy as pushing a button. Today, an operator needs to be engaged, but a lot of the manual intervention that was required with previous generations of laser cutting technology is not really needed. The whole idea behind today’s machines is that a fab shop needs an operator to become acquainted and comfortable with the equipment in a short amount of time. Part of the reason a company may invest in newer laser cutting technology is to enjoy improved cutting efficiencies, and that can’t happen if the machine isn’t producing parts because no one knows how to run it. That’s why present-day controls are designed to look like something found on tablet computing devices. Icons are prevalent, and operators can swipe the screen to engage commands. The controls are tailored to those who likely have never worked in the industry before. Given what happened during the pandemic, this simplification of the control interface is timely. For example, when restaurants and hotels shut down in 2020 because everyone stayed home and put travel plans on hold, many of these displaced workers found jobs in the manufacturing sector. They might have required a much longer learning curve to become familiar with older machines, but with today’s user-friendly control interface and automation features, the learning curve has been incredibly compressed.

What Is Undercarriage Damage? The undercarriage of heavy equipment refers to the supporting framework underneath a piece of heavy machinery. There are various types of undercarriages, including rubber track undercarriages and machinery steel undercarriages. An undercarriage will include a range of different parts, like a set of tracks or wheels, which are assembled and attached to the undercarriage to help it move over different kinds of terrain. Other key components include frames, pins, idlers, rollers, sprockets, bushings and links. This component is crucial to a piece of equipment’s functionality.Get more news about Undercarriage Parts, you can vist our website! So, what’s undercarriage damage? This can be any damage or harm that has occurred to the supporting structure underneath a piece of heavy equipment. Considering how essential the undercarriage is to heavy machinery, damage can be a huge cause of concern, accounting for some extensive, costly repairs. There are a number of different factors or conditions that can cause harm to machine undercarriage. What Causes Undercarriage Damage? Although a certain level of undercarriage damage is inevitable for most pieces of heavy equipment over time, it’s still important to be aware of the main causes to prevent as much damage as possible. What does undercarriage damage mean? Here are four of the most common causes of heavy equipment undercarriage damage: 1. Rough Terrain One of the more obvious causes of undercarriage damage is rough or uneven terrain, as it’s usually easy to tell when your equipment has driven over large holes or dips in the ground. Worksites often feature rough patches, which can have a significant impact on heavy equipment. Bouncing along the ground while driving over a hole or other rugged, uneven surfaces can cause cracks in the undercarriage, which can lead to leaks. Another harmful aspect of rough terrain can be rocks and other types of construction site debris. Whenever you strike rocks, rubber tire pieces or any other objects or debris while operating the machines, it can cause damage to the undercarriage. Rocks can fly up and cause punctures or knock bolts and other parts loose. That’s why it’s important to always drive with caution on sites with lots of debris or unsteady, uneven terrain. 2. Water and Moisture Although the undercarriage — like the rest of the machine — is covered with a protective finish for water exposure, the finish won’t always be effective. Considering that the undercarriage usually experiences more scratches while the equipment is at work compared to the rest of the parts, the protective finish will wear off even quicker. Therefore, when the undercarriage gets exposed to water too often without the chance to dry properly, the moisture will start to interact with the metal and lead to corrosion. Eventually, corrosion leads to the metal weakening and premature wear. 3. Mud Residue Mud residue can be a huge problem in some areas and cause a lot of harm to the undercarriage. If the mud doesn’t get washed off the machinery and its undercarriage properly, it can hold moisture, which will eventually lead to seal and bushing failure. Mud and other debris can also build up in treads and lead to excess wear by adding weight to the equipment. 4. Improper Operation Using heavy equipment beyond its operating capacity can cause stress to its undercarriage. Constant use on sloped surfaces requires a large amount of power that puts strain on track shoes, rollers and segments. Making sharp movements instead of wide turns quickly wears out tracks.

Wooden tea caddy had lock and key It seems strange today that early wooden tea caddies (special boxes for tea) were made with a lock and key. Tea was a very expensive drink in the 1600s. It gave added energy and after the addition of sugar, milk and sometimes lemon, it had a pleasing taste.Get more news about Wooden Box Of Tea,you can vist our website! The earliest tea caddies in England were made of porcelain shaped like a bottle with flat sides and a lid. Most were made in Holland. By the 1700s, there were large tea chests (caddies) that were made of mahogany, rosewood and other attractive types of wood. The valuable tea was kept in a box decorated with ivory, brass, ebony or silver to show its importance. Most had two or three sections that held a glass liner for the tea. The tea was served in an important room, so the tea caddy was made to resemble the furniture of the day. A recent Cottone auction sold an English Tunbridge ware tea caddy with inlay picturing Queen Victoria. The caddy was connected to a pedestal, also decorated with inlay. The impressive tea caddy sold for $2,950. Q: I’m a retired letter carrier. When my son was born in 1975, one of my patrons gave me a gift of Dewar’s White Label Scotch Whiskey. I’ve never opened it. The bottle is encased in cardboard and is in the original tin box. Is there any value because of its age? Is it still good to drink? A: John Dewar & Sons started out as a wine and spirits shop in Perth, Scotland, in 1846. Dewar’s founded a distillery in Aberfeldy, Scotland, in 1898. White Label Scotch Whiskey was first made in 1899. The company changed hands several times and has been owned by Bacardi since 1998. White Label is Dewar’s most popular brand and a top seller in the United States. Old liquor in unopened bottles is safe to drink. Some people think older bottles of scotch and other distilled spirits are better than newer ones. An old bottle of Dewar’s White Label Scotch Whiskey in a tin box sold online for more than $100. Even an old partly full bottle without the box sold for more than a new bottle. The old tin boxes are collected and sell for near $100. A new, full bottle is about $25. An empty bottle is worth under $10.

Nissan Leaf E+ may lose 25 miles of range in higher trims The higher and more expensive a vehicle's trim, the more plentiful its features are. But some features add weight and complexity, which can affect performance in various ways. In the case of the forthcoming Nissan Leaf E+, getting fancy could sacrifice more than 20 miles of range.Get more news about Carburetor For Nissan, you can vist our website! In its base trim, the Nissan Leaf E+ may offer 25 miles more range than higher trims, Automotive News reports, citing a test certificate from the California Air Resources Board (CARB). Taking CARB's Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule and adapting it to EPA numbers, the base Leaf E+ should pack a range of about 255 miles, with SV and SL trims coming in around 230, by AN's estimates. As AN notes, Nissan's own estimates are slightly lower, at 226 miles for the base trim and 215 miles for the SV and SL trims. The majority of this discrepancy is likely weight-related, as the base Leaf E+ is some 70 pounds lighter than the other models. The same thing has happened with gas-powered cars in the past, too. No matter the trim, though, all models receive Nissan's ProPilot Assist semi-automated lane-holding system, in addition to a beefier electric motor that's more powerful than the one on the short-range Leaf. The automaker "downplayed the CARB estimates" in AN's report, reiterating that the EPA has not yet published its official estimates. When asked to comment on the report, Nissan made the same points, including pointing out weight differences between trims and just how different EPA and CARB measurements are. We shouldn't have to wait too long for the EPA to put out its numbers, though, since the vehicle arrives at dealerships this spring. It will be interesting to see just how big the gulf is between the base Leaf E+ and its higher trims when those numbers become public.
What is Explosion Proof? Engineers are constantly working to improve existing standards to make machines not only more efficient, but also safer to operate, both in regular and emergency situations.Get more news about Box Panel Explosion Proof, you can vist our website! To help engineers and technicians around the world achieve this goal, The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) started publishing the National Electric Code (NEC) in 1897. The code, also known as NFPA 70 and ANSI/NFPA 70, defines various standards related to protection techniques that must be used when designing products intended for use in hazardous locations. In order to be deployed in such environments, products typically need to also satisfy safety protocols established by the ATEX Directive and IECEx, an international system for certification of equipment for use in explosive atmospheres created by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Components designed following these rules must be dust ignition proof, dust-tight, purged and pressurized, intrinsically safe, hermetically sealed and explosion-proof. Explosion-Proof Standards To satisfy the explosion-proof standards set out by the NEC and IEC, an enclosure must be able to contain possible explosions originating within its housing, as well as preventing sparks from the inside to ignite vapors, gases, dust, or fibers in the air surrounding it. Explosion-proof then refers not to the ability of the enclosure to withstand an external explosion, but to contain an internal one, thus preventing internal damages to affect surrounding machinery and people. The NEC also states that explosion-proof equipment must meet the temperature requirements of the specific application in which it is to be installed. In other words, the operating temperature of a given device must not be greater than the lowest ignition temperature of the dust or gases in the atmosphere where the component is to be installed. Products listed as explosion-proof according to NEC are divided into use for use in Class I, Division 1 or 2 locations. Generally speaking, the equipment listed for a higher classification surpasses the requirements for lower classifications. According to the NEC, products identified for a Division 1 location are permitted in a Division 2 location belonging to the same class, group, and temperature class.
What you need to know about laser-cut clothing You know the intricate, elegant, classic pattern found on your grandma's doilies? Imagine that design as an item of clothing. That is laser-cut design.Get more news about Clothing Co2 Laser Cutting Machine Manufacturer, you can vist our website! Laser cutting used to be reserved for haute couture designs. But as consumers began lusting for the technique, and the technology was made more readily available to manufacturers, it's become commonplace to see laser-cut silk and leather in ready-to-wear runway collections. Where the runway goes, affordable fashion typically follows: You can now find laser-cut clothing sold by fast fashion retailers like Topshop and ASOS. And that's just for starters. WHAT IS IT? Laser cutting is a method of manufacturing that (surprise, surprise) uses a laser to cut materials. All of the advantages -– extreme accuracy, clean cuts and sealed fabric edges to prevent fraying -– make this method of design very popular in the fashion industry. Another benefit is that one method can be used to cut many different materials, like silk, nylon, leather, neoprene, polyester and cotton. Also, the cuts are made without any pressure on the fabric, meaning no part of the cutting process requires anything other than the laser to touch a garment. There are no unintended marks left on the fabric, which is particularly beneficial for delicate fabrics like silk and lace. For example, Marc Jacobs used laser cutting to create delicate, ethereal lace and silk pieces for LV's Spring/Summer 2012 ready-to-wear collection (seen above). Similarly, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig of Marchesa frequently send exquisite gowns down the runway with the most intricate laser-cut patterns. An example: the soft pink gown with layers and layers of laser cut fabric in Marchesa's Spring/Summer 2011 ready-to-wear collection. HOW DOES IT WORK? This is where things get technical. There are three main types of lasers used for laser cutting: the CO2 laser, the neodymium (Nd) laser and the neodymium yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Nd-YAG) laser. For the most part, the CO2 laser is the method of choice when it comes to cutting wearable fabrics. This particular process involves firing a high-energy laser that cuts by melting, burning or vaporizing material. To accomplish the precise cut, a laser travels through a tube-like device while being reflected by several mirrors. The beam eventually reaches a focal lens, which targets the laser to a single spot on the chosen material for cutting. Adjustments can be made to vary the amount of material that is cut by the laser. The CO2 laser, the Nd laser and the Nd-YAG laser all generate a concentrated beam of light. That said, differences in these types of lasers make each ideal for certain tasks. The CO2 laser is a gas laser that produces an infrared light. CO2 lasers are easily absorbed by organic material, making it the first choice when it comes to cutting fabrics like leather. Nd and Nd-YAG lasers, on the other hand, are solid-state lasers that rely on a crystal to create the light beam. These high-powered methods are well-suited for engraving, welding, cutting and drilling metals; not exactly haute couture. WHY SHOULD I CARE? Because you appreciate attention to detail and precise cuts in fabric, you fashionista, you. Cutting fabric with a laser allows for extremely accurate cuts without ever touching the fabric, which means that a garment comes out as untainted by a manufacturing process as possible. Laser cutting offers the kind of precision that you'd get if a design were done by hand, but at a much faster pace, making it more practical and also allowing for lower price points. There's also the argument that designers who utilize this manufacturing method are less likely to be copied. Why? Well, the intricate designs are hard to reproduce in an exact way. Of course, those who copy can aim to recreate an original pattern or might be inspired by specific cuts, but utilizing laser cuts makes it that much harder for the competition to create an identical pattern. WHAT'S THE ARGUMENT? It's easy to forget, now that laser-cut designs are found all over, that the technology wasn't always as widely available as it is today. It used to be that the only way to get your hands on a laser-cut garment was to shell out a lot of cash; these days, you can get a laser-cut vest from Topshop for less than $100, and a faux-leather top from Forever 21 for under $30. Or, if you're more highbrow than fast fashion, not to worry -- you don't necessarily have to break the bank to get your hands on a laser-cut piece of clothing. Bloomingdale's, for example, has several offerings for under $300.
REASONS TO USE A CARBON FIBER MINIMALIST WALLET Are you tired of carrying around a bulky and obtrusive wallet? You aren't alone in wanting something slimmer. The demand for slim and minimalist wallets has skyrocketed. One of the driving forces of this is men caring more about their style and appearance. Having a bulky wallet is unappealing, to say the least. In this, we will be going over some of the advantages and disadvantages of opting for a minimalist wallet over a traditional wallet.Get more news about Men's Wallet Carbon Fiber, you can vist our website! ADVANTAGES OF USING A MINIMALIST WALLET: 1. Achieve Optimal Comfort One of the most significant advantages you get with a minimalist wallet is having something much more comfortable to carry. Carrying around a thick and heavy traditional wallet can be very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it can cause a bulge making it difficult to bend and even sit if you keep your wallet in your rear pocket. A minimalist wallet is much lighter making it weigh you down less and it won't cause such a bulge which can make it uncomfortable to sit. 2. Ramp Up Your Style Another advantage of having a wallet that you can wear discreetly is the ability to wear proper fitting pants without having a huge bulge in your front pocket. Those that feel more comfortable wearing their wallets in their front pockets need to go for a thinner style wallet. This is especially true if you are someone that wears slim-fitting pants. Not only can you end up stretching out your pants with a bulky wallet, but you will end up looking ridiculous with it, as well. 3. No More Worrying About Your Wallet Having a traditional wallet can be a hassle for a variety of reasons. Carrying around a traditional wallet can be a hassle because it typically needs to be removed prior to sitting down. Otherwise, you end up with something that makes sitting very uncomfortable. Constantly removing your wallet whenever you sit down can be a dangerous habit. After all, you might end up taking your wallet out in a public setting where it can be stolen or you might even misplace your wallet. By getting a minimalist wallet, you will be able to avoid this from becoming a factor because it won't impact your ability to sit or even be noticeable at times. 4. Forced Organization By giving yourself more room to use with a traditional wallet, you will likely find yourself hoarding all kinds of cards, receipts, and other things that you don't need. Whereas, when you are forced to go minimalist with a slimmer wallet, you will have forced organization allowing you to get rid of things you don't need. 5. Larger Phones There's no denying phones have increased in size over the last few years. Nowadays, pretty much everyone has a plus-sized model phone. Even the 'smaller' phones can take up an entire pocket by itself. By getting yourself a slim wallet, you can keep your phone and your wallet in the same pocket which will free up your other pocket for your keys. Otherwise, you might find yourself scratching up your phone with your keys occasionally.
