Muelken, Frank Age 84, of Prior Lake, died on Monday, February 22, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM with visitation two hours prior at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Prior Lake. Anxious to find a place to live and a way to support the kids, the 27 year old who lost his job repairing foreclosed homes on the East Coast hadn't made health care a priority for his family until Wednesday.
Joslyn rushed his children from a homeless shelter in the Tenderloin to a free health clinic that was set up in the Mission to see needy patients for two days.
"I saw the flyer and I just came," he said.
Joslyn was among hundreds who lined up in the early morning hours some had gathered since noon the previous day to see a doctor at the Bridges to Health clinic, which moves to Oakland Friday.
They complained of high blood pressure, toothaches, back pain and a host of other problems that they had not been able to afford treating. They arrived even in a city of means that works hard to care for its poor, and at a time in which federal health care reforms have made medical coverage more accessible.
"Even if you have insurance, a lot of plans don't cover certain services," said , an obstetrician gynecologist from Ridgecrest (Kern County) and one of the organizers of this week's event.
The free clinic, one of the largest of its kind in years, is put on by a program within the Seventh day . The goal is to provide medical care where it's still needed.
More than 500 doctors and their assistants from across the country were on hand at the old San Francisco armory.
Waiting for care
On Wednesday morning, Joslyn's son was cleared by one of the pediatricians to have two cavities filled. His daughter, who recently had a diaper rash, was waiting to see a doctor. Joslyn, too, hoped to get a dental exam.
"San Francisco's been a good place to start anew," he said.
Mission resident , 41, wanted to have her deteriorating vision checked. She lost her private insurance two years ago after she left a job as an administrative assistant at a law firm.

GM Fires UAW Official Opposed to 'Team Concept'
General Motors has fired Peter Z. Beltran, the controversial official of United Auto Workers Local 645 who contested the Japanese style work rules installed at the company's Van Nuys plant a year ago.

Union officials said the company accused the two of lying about why Beltran, the local's shop chairman and No. 3 official, was absent from work 38 days last year. GM said the action was intended to defraud the company of money and benefits.
Both Beltran and Velasquez, who were fired April 21, were full time union representatives but were paid by GM. The two filed a grievance with GM protesting the terminations, and Velasquez charged that the action was a reprisal by the company for recent union activities.
GM alleges that Beltran, 48, and Velasquez, 51,van cleef and arpels bracelet fake alhambra, lied in a Feb. 23 letter to company executives when they claimed that Beltran was away from work for the 38 days to take care of union business. Velasquez sent the letter after Beltran was faced with losing some of his employment benefits because of his absences.

GM conducted an investigation, according to Velasquez, and determined that Beltran wasn't working for the union on the days in question. GM sent Velasquez who signed the letter excusing Beltran a termination notice explaining its position.
"This letter would have had the effect of removing Pete Beltran from the attendance control procedure, thereby preventing a reduction in his benefits, unjustly increasing his compensation and reducing the possibility of his forfeiture of employment," the company wrote. "Acting with Mr. Beltran, you knowingly attempted to derive monies and benefits for him to which he was not entitled."
Velasquez, in an interview, denied the charges and steadfastly said Beltran was absent because of union work. "All of those dates we can pretty well document," he said. He said Beltran was either attending union conferences or doing paper work.
Beltran was not available for comment Tuesday, and GM officials declined to discuss the matter.
Cushion Unit an Issue
Velasquez a 31 year veteran of the Van Nuys plant earned about $26,van cleef knock off clover bracelet,000 annually. Beltran, whose pay was not disclosed, was on GM's payroll for about 30 years.

"I think our terminations were contrived by local management because we were tying to stop the outsourcing of work at the plant," said Velasquez. "Pete pretty well put the company on notice that he would go to the membership and seek ways to stop them. He didn't rule out the possibility of a strike."
Under the UAW contract, workers absent more than 20% of their scheduled work days face reductions in such benefits as vacation pay and holiday pay. Workers refer to the clause as the 20% club.
"GM was taking the position I had contrived a scheme with Mr. Beltran to keep him from the 20% club," said Velasquez. "Obviously,van cleef arpels alhambra fake bracelet, we denied it."

Several weeks ago, a black protester in Alabama was beaten on by Donald Trump supporters and reportedly called racial slurs. At other events, Donald Trump's supporters have attacked protesters who were voicing their concerns about his anti immigrant screeds towards Hispanics and Latinos. Trump supporters also attacked a homeless person because they thought he was an "illegal immigrant."
Donald Trump describes his public as "passionate" and high energy. He urges on their violence with statements such as "maybe heshould have beenroughedup."
Trump does not condemn the violence; the thuggery of his supporters is a type of barometer and life blood for his effectiveness as a proto fascist demagogue. The right wing media is largely mute on Trump's antics. They have circulated and ginned up violence be it domestic terrorism and/or thuggery by Trump supporters for years. To forcibly and enthusiastically condemn it now would be a betrayal of how the Fox News media and its propagandists have weaponized their public and created the drumbeat for stochastic right wing domestic terrorism.
When Donald Trump supporters, the overwhelming majority of whom are white (except for the black and brown human props that are trotted out to give cover for his racism), yell racial slurs at black American protesters, or in a spine chilling tone offer up a fantasy of "light the motherfucker on fire," such moments are outside of the boundaries of normal political speech.
The United States has a deep, dark, and ugly history of burning black Americans alive. Those wicked acts are one of the few examples where America is truly exceptional few if any other countries have a tradition of what historians and others have termed the "spectacular lynching."

CNN: When Quincy rang you up, you thought it was a crank call.
Eddie Van Halen: I went off on him. I went, "What do you want, you f ing so and so!" And he goes, "Is this Eddie?" I said, "Yeah, what the hell do you want?" "This is Quincy." I'm thinking to myself, "I don't know anyone named Quincy." He goes, "Quincy Jones, man." I went, "Ohhh,imitation van cleef & arpels pour homme, sorry!" (Laughs)
I asked, "What can I do for you?" And he said, "How would you like to come down and play on Michael Jackson's new record?" And I'm thinking to myself, "OK, 'ABC, 1,bijoux van cleef arpels replique, 2, 3' and me. How's that going to work?"
I still wasn't 100% sure it was him. I said, "I'll tell you what. I'll meet you at your studio tomorrow." And lo and behold, when I get there, there's Quincy, there's Michael Jackson and there's engineers. They're makin' records!
CNN: Did Quincy give you any direction about what he wanted you to do?
Van Halen: Michael left to go across the hall to do some children's speaking record. So I asked Quincy, "What do you want me to do?" And he goes, "Whatever you want to do." And I go, "Be careful when you say that. If you know anything about me, be careful when you say, "Do anything you want!"
I listened to the song, and I immediately go, "Can I change some parts?" I turned to the engineer and I go, "OK, from the breakdown, chop in this part, go to this piece, pre chorus,bijoux van cleef et arpels replique, to the chorus, out." Took him maybe 10 minutes to put it together. And I proceeded to improvise two solos over it.
I was just finishing the second solo when Michael walked in. And you know artists are kind of crazy people. We're all a little bit strange. I didn't know how he would react to what I was doing. So I warned him before he listened. I said, "Look, I changed the middle section of your song."
Now in my mind, he's either going to have his bodyguards kick me out for butchering his song, or he's going to like it. And so he gave it a listen, and he turned to me and went, "Wow, thank you so much for having the passion to not just come in and blaze a solo, but to actually care about the song, and make it better."
He was this musical genius with this childlike innocence. He was such a professional, and such a sweetheart.
CNN: That collaboration surprised a lot of people.
Van Halen: I'll never forget when Tower Records was still open over here in Sherman Oaks. I was buying something, and "Beat It" was playing over the store sound system. The solo comes on, and I hear these kids in front of me going, "Listen to this guy trying to sound like Eddie Van Halen." I tapped him on the shoulder and said, "That IS me!" That was hilarious.

Former Marilyn Manson drummer Chris Vrenna heads on tour with KingDoom
Chris Vrenna spent decades working with some of the biggest names in rock music,imitation oyster perpetual datejust rolex, mostly within the confines of a major label system that no longer exists.
"Man, I miss the '90s sometimes," Vrenna said with a laugh. "But you can sit around and bitch about it, or you can figure out a way to tackle what music is today."
Today's marketplace is defined by its lack of definition which isn't necessarily a bad thing, Vrenna said. With the old music biz business model now a thing of the past, he's happy to work on projects that interest him, independent or otherwise. Industrial leaning Edmonton group KingDoom fits the bill perfectly.
Vrenna, 46,imitation rolex datejust 2, will put his considerable drum talent on display beginning Monday in Victoria when KingDoom steps out on its first national tour.
He has been rehearsing with KingDoom for the past week, which is good news for everyone involved, the drummer admitted.
"The last time I played live was in Paris at the end of Marilyn Manson's tour on Dec. 22, 2009," he said.
"I've been in the studio the last two years, so it will be nice to get out, that's for sure."
The involvement of Vrenna has done a lot to sell the tour thus far. The Pennsylvania native co founded Nine Inch Nails, recorded and toured with Marilyn Manson, toured with Smashing Pumpkins and remixed U2. He even joined a reconstituted Guns 'N Roses, albeit briefly.
There are plenty of projects Vrenna could be working on, including the forthcoming KingDoom album he has been writing with singer Lex Justice.
But touring with KingDoom presented him with a unique opportunity: playing electronic drums beside and with KingDoom drummer Greg Ross, who will be playing acoustic drums during their set.
"We'll be performing the programmed elements that I did on the album live with two drummers. Truthfully, that's something I've never done in my entire career."
Vrenna has compiled an impressive list of achievements in his career. In addition to winning a Grammy Award as a member of Nine Inch Nails, which he joined in 1988, he spent nearly a decade as a key member of Marilyn Manson's band.
He also assembled a list of credits as a producer, mixer and engineer that includes recordings by David Bowie, Metallica, Hole, Nelly Furtado and Meat Loaf, among others.
Vrenna met the members of KingDoom through a shared friendship with the late Bill Kennedy, an engineer who worked with Vrenna and Nine Inch Nails. Kennedy brought Vrenna to Edmonton to work on drum programming for KingDoom's debut, and the relationship blossomed.
"Touring is so hard, with the amount of travel and set up and performing. If I didn't love these guys, I probably wouldn't do it," Vrenna said. "You've got to have fun."
Vancouver's HMP Recordings is helping to facilitate the new tour first model Vrenna is big on these days. HMP offers complete label services, such as management, grant writing, radio tracking and publicity, for acts who have yet to break out on a national level. Tickets for both events are $20.
