Differences in opinion led to Mike not playing in the second half, so thats what were going to say about coaches. ... Things that were communicated probably were misunderstood.Idle for the entire second half, Wallace was held without a catch for the first time since his rookie year in 2009. That made things easier for the Jets, who overcame a 10-point third-quarter deficit. The Dolphins (8-8) missed a shot at their first winning season since 2008, which is the last time they made the playoffs. Owner Stephen Ross has said coach Joe Philbin will be back for a fourth season in 2015, and hell have disharmony to address after benching Wallace.Philbin said the move was a coachs decision, and he declined to elaborate. Wallace has three years remaining on a $60 million deal he signed in 2013.I plan on being a Dolphin as far as my contract allows me, Gibson said, speaking for Wallace. At the end of the interview, Wallace confirmed his feelings were accurately represented by Gibsons comments. It was a weird end to a strange day for the Dolphins, who lost despite impressive performances by Lamar Miller and Ryan Tannehill.Miller scored on a franchise-record 97-yard run and rushed for a career-high 178 yards. Tannehill became the first Miami player since Dan Marino in 1994 to throw for 4,000 yards, and with 392 completions for the season, he broke Marinos 1994 franchise record of 385.But the Jets sacked Tannehill seven times, and Miamis defence was again awful, leaving defensive co-ordinator Kevin Coyles job in jeopardy. The Jets Geno Smith had his best game in a rocky season, throwing for a career-high 358 yards and three touchddowns. Jonathan Allen Redskins Jersey. I hate losing, Tannehill said. I put in a lot of effort, a lot of time, a lot of blood, sweat and tears. Everyone in this locker room does as well. Any time you dont come out and finish the way you want to, it hurts. The game was entertaining but mostly meaningless because it involved two teams out of the playoff chase. And with the Jets sitting out the post-season for the fourth consecutive year, owner Woody Johnson is widely expected to fire coach Rex Ryan, and perhaps general manager John Idzik. The Jets (4-12) finished with their worst record since 2007.This is a great team — just we havent had a great record, Ryan said. But as far as how you build a team, its there. The half-empty stadium and also-ran status of the teams created the atmosphere of an exhibition game, and with the stakes modest, Ryan threw in an occasional frill. The Jets ran a reverse out of the wildcat, with receiver Jeremy Kerley throwing incomplete to Smith. The coach ordered a fake punt when New York clung to a 27-24 lead, and punter Ryan Quigley lobbed a 38-yard pass to tight end Zach Sudfeld on fourth-and-12.Somebody had the guts to call it, Ryan said. I dont know who, but hes probably standing in front of you.On the next play, Smith hit Jeff Cumberland with a 23-yard pass for the clinching touchdown.New York came in ranked last in the NFL in passing, but Smith went 20 of 25 and had a passer rating of 158.3 — the only perfect rating this year by a quarterback throwing at least seven passes, according to STATS. The South Florida native helped the Jets achieve a season-high points total.Even so, the game might have been Smiths final start for the Jets. Theyre expected to seek quarterback help in the draft or free agency.I have complete confidence in myself, Smith said, but consistency is the thing that Im searching for and Im getting better with.NOTES: Miami LB Koa Misi left with a right knee injury in the third quarter. ... ST. Stephen Curry Panthers Jersey . LOUIS -- Lance Lynn threw a five-hit shutout in his first career complete game and the St. Louis Cardinals got home runs from Allen Craig and Matt Holliday in a 6-0 victory over the New York Yankees on Tuesday night. Holliday and Matt Adams had three hits and an RBI apiece and Craig drove in two runs. The Cardinals have won 10 of 13, shaking off a 12-inning loss in the series opener, and ended the Yankees three-game road winning streak that matched their best of the year. David Phelps (1-2) pitched in his hometown for the first time and allowed three earned runs in six innings. Two infield errors contributed to two unearned runs in the Cardinals breakout four-run third. Derek Jeter got a standing ovation before each at-bat, just like in the opener. He was 0 for 3 with a walk. Adams leads the National League with 22 multi-hit games, Holliday has reached safely in all 23 home games and Craig has a team-high 15 RBIs this month. Lynn (6-2) struck out two and walked three, topping his previous career best of eight innings on April 25, 2012 at Chicago against the Cubs. He retired the side in order for the third time in the ninth inning, finishing with 126 pitches. The Yankees were shut out for just the second time, going 0 for 9 with runners in scoring position and stranding two runners twice. The Cardinals batted around in the third with Adams double the lone run-producing hit. Craig reached on a bases-loaded RBI groundout when first baseman Kelly Johnson gloved an offline throw from Jeter but then lost the ball attempting a sweeping tag, and two runs scored on Jhonny Peraltas grounder that scooted under second baseman Brian Roberts glove. Craigs fifth homer ticked off right fielder Alfonso Sorianos glove at the wall in the fifth. Holliday greeted reliever Alfredo Aceves with his third of the season leading off the seventh. The Yankees opened with a big play on defence, with centre fielder Jacoby Ellsburys running grab steps from the wall to rob leadoff man Matt Carpenter of extra bases in the first. Adams stretched to full extension keeping his foot on the bag at first on Roberts groundout to end the second. Rookie second baseman Kolten Wong made three nice plays, outrunning Ellsbury to first after fielding a grounder that Adams also chased, turning a smash by Yangervis Solarte into a double play ball in the fourth, and diving to snare Phelps foul pop-up in the fifth. NOTES: Cardinals Hall of Fame manager Whitey Herzog, recovering from a hip injury, was among those in a sellout crowd of 45,202, the teams 12th of the season. ... Gabon international Aubameyang -- a 13 million-euro ($17 million) off-season signing from French side Saint-Etienne -- opened the scoring in the 24th minute, made the game safe in the 66th, and added another in the 79th before Robert Lewandowski scored from a penalty kick with four minutes remaining. "We got great goals and finished the game with confidence. Not many win 4-0 here. That makes me proud," Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp said. Hertha Berlin celebrated its return to the Bundesliga with a 6-1 rout of visiting Eintracht Frankfurt, thanks to two goals each from Adrian Ramos and Sami Allagui and one each from Ronny and German-American defender John Anthony Brooks. Bayer Leverkusen won 3-1 at home over Freiburg, Hannover beat nine-man Wolfsburg 2-0 at home, and Nuremberg drew 2-2 at Hoffenheim. Zlatko Junuzovics late strike gave Werder Bremen a 1-0 win at Eintracht Braunschweig in the late game, denying the home side a winning return to the Bundesliga after 28 years. "Something was missing for 28 years," proclaimed a large banner before kickoff, but the closest Braunschweig came to scoring was in the 64th, when Ken Reichels shot crashed off the crossbar. Bremen keeper Sebastian Mielitz just got his fingertips to the ball. Junuzovic scored in the 82nd, lifting the ball over the goalkeeper against the run of play. Braunschweigs hopes of an equalizer were dashed when Jan Hochscheidts shot was blocked on the line in the 88th. "We created enough chances in the second half. Its just a shame we couldnt make more of them," said Braunschweig captain Dennis Kruppke. The 24-year-old Aubameyang became only the sixth player in the Bundesliga to score a hat trick on his debut. He beat a defender to meet Marcel Schmelzers cross with a header beyond the helpless Augsburg keeper. Marco Reus set up his second, which Aubameyang curled around the goalkeeper inside the far post. Aubameyang rounded the goalkeeper for his third, tucking the ball into the empty net, after Lewandowski had played the ball into his path. "Aubameyang was put to great use today. Im not surprised about what he offers, but that all the balls go in already. Its a very good start," Klopp said. Lewandowski added a fourth with an emphatic penalty, after Jonas Hofmann waas fouled in the area. Curtis Samuel Womens Jersey. Despite the scoreline, Dortmund found it hard to break down the stubborn home side. Augsburg might have equalized in the first half but for a goal-line clearance from Sven Bender, while reserve goalkeeper Mitch Langerak pulled off a great save from Raphael Holzhauser. Langerak maintained his record of 11 wins from 11 competitive games for Dortmund. "Of course were disappointed. We imagined and hoped for it to go a little differently," said Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl. "Our mistakes were punished ruthlessly." Ramos scored Herthas first goal back in the Bundesliga following a well-worked counterattack in the 18th, and Brooks made it 2-0 by shooting through a host of players in the 32nd. Alexander Meier pulled one back from the penalty spot five minutes later, but Allagui scored twice in as many minutes to decide the game with half an hour remaining, before Ramos and then Ronny completed the rout. "The performance was sensational. Now we have the first three points, we can enjoy the game a little bit. But well be back in everyday life very quickly. We can still improve," Hertha coach Jos Luhukay said. It was the first time since December 2004 that Hertha scored six goals in a Bundesliga game. The home side also hit the crossbar three times in the first half. "Its hard for me to analyze such a game," Frankfurt coach Armin Veh said. Freiburg striker Mike Hanke cancelled out Stefan Kiesslings opening goal for Leverkusen, but Son Heung-min scored his first Bundesliga goal for Leverkusen just after the break and Sidney Sam secured the win in the 52nd. Leon Andreasen and Szabolcs Huszti scored for Hannover, either side of the sendings off of Maximilian Arnold and Timm Klose for Wolfsburg. Mike Frantz and Daniel Ginczek drew Nuremberg level at Hoffenheim, which had gone ahead through David Abraham and Anthony Modeste. The home side was left to rue a goal that wasnt given in first half injury time, when the ball came back out over the line due to the spin from Kevin Vollands lob over the goalkeeper. "Its annoying that such a goal was stolen but I dont want to accuse anyone. Its hard for the linesman to see. It was hard for me to see," Volland said. Referee Thorsten Kinhoefer said the match officials realized the mistake at halftime. "Where people judge, mistakes happen. Its very annoying that we made this mistake today," Kinhoefer said. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

SEATTLE -- Steve Ballmers departure from the group looking to bring the NBA back to Seattle isnt derailing lead investor Chris Hansens hopes of getting a team back in the region. Evan Engram Youth Jersey . Hansen told The Associated Press on Monday that he is confident hell be able to find investors to take Ballmers place in his group that is trying to build a new arena and last year nearly bought and moved the Sacramento Kings to Seattle. Hansen is the majority investor in the project, but said it would likely take more than one person to replace Ballmers investment. Other than Hansen, the only other known partners in the investment group are members of the Nordstrom department store family. Hansen said he wont put a limit on the number of investors at this time. "I think we want to have a reasonable group of partners," Hansen said. "That will be the thing that is probably most missed from Steves involvement. One, hes a great guy and very successful in his career and would have added a lot of insights and value in operating the team. Thats probably the first thing that will be missed from having him as a partner and the second thing, given his net worth, (he) had the ability to be really the only other partner that we needed. In all likelihood there are not a lot of Steve Ballmers in the world with his financial well-being, so in all likelihood I think its reasonable to assume we have a few more partners rather than just one." Seattles hopes seemed to take a blow last week when Ballmer agreed to buy the Los Angeles Clippers for $2 billion. Among other things, it raised questions about whether Ballmers decision should be taken as a sign that Seattles hopes of getting a franchise are dwindling. Hansen tried to calm those concerns, noting the environmental reviews on the proposed arena site are ongoing and that he remains committed to continuing the process both with the arena and a team. Hansens memorandum of understanding with the city of Seattle and King County on the arena goes through November 2017. "Everybody is very interested in what that means for right now. In six to nine months this will pass and well still be here trying to get our arena built and still be here trying to pursue a franchise and I think that is what is most important," Hansen said. "There is nothing we have to do. We own the land outright. There is no immediate time pressure that we have to do something and thats been very well received by the NBA as well -- the fact were willing to be patient and endure through this." Because of a lack of buzz about the NBA prior to Ballmer agreeing to purchase the Clippers, questions about whether the NHL could be first to land in Seattle have increased. It peaked recently when NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman flew to Seattle during the NHL playoffs to meet with Seattle Mayor Ed Murray and King County executive Dow Constantine. Hansen reiterated he does not have an interest in being the majority owner of an NHL franchise. But hes willing to partner with another investor who has that passion for the NHL. That would require a restructuring of the memorandum of understanding and Hansen said any re-writing of the deal would have to be initiated by the city and county. "We would like to be accommodative to get the NHL here. There should be no question about that. Were building this arena as a two-sport building. It has the larger footprint for hockey. Weve worked hard to do that. We would like to do everything in our power to allow hockey to come here in a way that makes sense for the NHL and for a prospective partner," Hansen said. Dalvin Tomlinson Jersey . Norman, one of the NFLs top cornerbacks, had not signed the franchise tag offer from the Panthers which would have paid him $13.9m in 2016. The 28-year-old Norman is now free to sign with any team in the NFL and there should be plenty of interest in his services. After a number of conversations with Joshs agent we realized that a long-term deal was not attainable, general manager Dave Gettleman said in a statement. We have decided to rescind the franchise tag freeing Josh to immediately become a UFA. We thank Josh for all his contributions and truly wish him well.Norman wasnt in a talking mood shortly after the move was announced.Man, I just dont feel like talking about it right now, Norman told the Associated Press. Josh Norman #24 of the Carolina Panthers makes a game saving interception against Brandin Cooks #10 of the New Orleans Saints According to ESPN, Norman is seeking a long-term deal in the region off $16m per season, while the Panthers made one offer to him of $11m and did not move off that figure. Wayne Gallman Jersey. ith the gap between the two parties so wide, Gettleman decided the best move for the Panthers was to move on and avoid the situation becoming a distraction for the team. That decision leaves Carolina with a huge hole at the position. Their depth chart now features a trio of Bene Benwikere, Brandon Boykin and Robert McClain at the top and all three are primarily known as slot corners.A former fifth-round draft pick, Norman had a career-high four interceptions in 2015 and helped the NFC champion Panthers lead the NFL in interceptions (24), takeaways (39), points off turnovers (148) last season. He also had 16 passes defended, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He is unlikely to be a free agent for long, though only teams with significant cap space are likely to be able to afford his $16m-per-year demands. The Jacksonville Jaguars currently have the most cap space in the NFL with $54.8m, according to Spotrac.com. SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Spurs have said their goal this season was not to have the leagues best record. Michael Roberts Youth Jersey. But once it was in sight, they went for it.  Danny Green had a career-high 33 points and the San Antonio Spurs rallied from a 21-point deficit to beat the Phoenix Suns 112-104 on Friday and clinch home-court throughout the playoffs. "Its a big plus," Green said. "Its not something we were focused on, but we know it will help us. Well be at home for most of the playoffs. The biggest thing for us is to stay healthy and to build chemistry. Winning games in the process helps and we get home-court advantage. Thats just the extra bonus for us." Eric Bledsoe had 30 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists to lead Phoenix (47-32), which fell into a tie with Memphis for the Wests eighth seed. Kawhi Leonard scored 18 points for the Spurs and Tony Parker added 18 points and three assists in his return from a two-game absence due to a back injury. Green was 7 for 10 on 3-pointers in pushing San Antonio (62-18) to victory without Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, who both sat out the second game of a back-to-back for rest. It appeared the remaining Spurs were taking the night off, too, as the Suns ran past them early. Phoenix took a 35-14 lead with 2 minutes left in the first quarter and was shooting 60 per cent from the field midway through the second quarter. "(The Spurs) could have said, Oh, its tough, three (games) in four nights, back-to-back, and were just going to take a blow tonight." San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich said. "But they didnt do it. Those guys have a lot of pride. I think some of the assistant coaches got on them; cause you know I didnt, I just kind of watched a little bit." Popovich was able to jest about his demeanour, but the mood was sombre in the Suns locker room. Phoenix faces the seventh-seeded Mavericks in Dallas on Saturday night before hosting the Grizzlies on Monday and playing at Sacramento on Wednesday. The Suns likely must win out for any chance to reach the post-season. "We dont have much choice; our season is on the line," Bledsoe said. Making matters worse is Phoenix appeared to have Fridays game well in hand until it was outscored 37-19 in the third quarter. "They do what they always do, they lock in in the second half," Bledsoe said. "When theyre down, they dont panic. We had too many good shots and good looks early. We thought we were going to come in the second half and it was going to be easy like the first half and we just werent as aggressive or locked in." After a sluggish start, Parker took over offensively to spark a 29-14 run to close the third quarter. Parker hit a 15-foot jumper, a 3-foot driving jumper and an 18-footer before Green hit a 3-pointer to pull San Antonio within 72-68 with 6:45 left in third. "I was just trying to be aggressive," Parker said. "We were down 13; so I just tried to bring some energy to the team. It was a back-to-back for everybody. And I had four or five days off, so I was just trying to bring energy." Marco Belinellis 19-foot jumper put San Antonio up 79-78, its first lead since leading 9-8 with 8 minutes left in the first quarter. Phoenix regained the lead in the fourth, taking a 98-97 advantage on Channing Fryes 3 with 4:25 remaining but Leonard and Belinelli followed with 3s to give San Antonio a lead it didnt relinquished. "Theyre a good team, it doesnt matter who they put out there, they play hard," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. "You know other guys want to step up and we let guys get going. Danny Green, we couldnt stop him. Tony Parker in the third was great. They played better than we did." NOTES: NBA commissioner Adam Silver attended the game after sitting in on the Spurs quarterly meeting. The Bulldogs, limited by a stingy Tulsa defence, shot 32 per cent for the game. They went just 4 of 15 from 3-point range in the second half and 15 of 23 from the free-throw line. "Right now, I feel bad for the four seniors," Techs Alex Hamilton said. "I just wish there was more could do. We came out on the short end. I feel bad for the guys." With the NHL Draft coming up on June 27 and free agency opening on July 1, discussions between NHL general managers are already heating up towards a busy off-season. DeShone Kizer Youth Jersey . Each day, TSN.ca provides the latest rumours, reports and speculation from around the NHL beat. Farewell to Broadway? Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe reports that the New York Rangers are considering using a compliance buyout on centre Brad Richards. Ricards is 34-years-old and has six remaining on his current deal that carries an annual cap hit of $6,666,667. The former Conn Smythe-winner is unlikely to see out his full contract and, if he were to retire early, the Rangers would be on the hook for the remainder of the deal as per the new CBAs cap benefit recapture penalty. This would effectively mean that the Rangers would be carrying dead money against the cap, something that would cripple any club. Since the implementation of the compliance buyout option, teams have used it for 15 players including Richardss former Tampa Bay Lightning teammate, Vincent Lecavalier. Not so Wild about Vanek? Thomas Vanek is no longer a sure thing for the Minnesota Wild, so says Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The connection to Minnesota for Vanek is obvious. Vanek starred for a the 2003 NCAA Champion Minnesota Golden Gophers, winning the Frozen Four MVP and became the first-ever freshman to do so. Still, Russo believes that the emergence of the Wilds young core that helped upset the Colorado Avalanche in the first round of the playoffs, coupled with Vaneks poor post-season with the Montreal Canadiens means that the team has cooled its interest in the Austrian. Vanek had five goals and five assists in 17 playoff games for the Canadiens. Getting Drafty in here? Josh Cooper of the Tennessean writes that the Nashville Predators could be looking at acquiring a second first-round pick in this months NHL Draft. The Predators hold the 11th pick in the draft, but also have two second-round selections (numbers 42 and 46 with the latter gained from the Detroit Red Wings as part of the David Legwand trade) and could use both of those to grab a second pick in the first round. TORONTO -- Rudy Gay skipped shootaround Friday morning, choosing to stay in bed in hopes of beating the flu bug. Tim Williams Womens Jersey . But by the time the game started, the Toronto Raptors forward felt even worse. And, for three quarters, it showed as Gay shot a woeful three-for-13 from the field. However, he had 11 points in the final 12 minutes of play as Toronto used a dominant fourth quarter to defeat the Washington Wizards 96-88 to remain in first place in the Atlantic Division. Toronto trailed Washington 70-66 heading into the final quarter, but Gay hit all three field goal attempts in the fourth and added five free throws to lead the Raptors to victory. "There was no stopping me. I was going to play," said Gay. "I was out of breath and the sort of things that happen when youre sick but I had to push through it for my team. "In the fourth quarter, I just let it come to me and it got a lot easier." Gays 11-point fourth quarter gave him 17 for the night, tied for team high with DeMar DeRozan, as Toronto (6-7) won for the second straight time to stay atop the NBAs Atlantic Division. "He struggled a little bit early but when it was down the stretch, he came through for us," head coach Dwane Casey said of Gay, who was booed in the third quarter by the 18,671 in attendance for his poor shooting performance and a couple of turnovers. "He was a little weak from the flu but he gutted it out. "He could have easily mailed it in or checked out but he fought through it and gave us 17 big points." Toronto scored the first nine points of the fourth quarter to wrest the lead back from Washington. The Raptors outscored the Wizards 21-9 over the opening 7:34 of the final period and 30-18 overall. It was a dramatic turnaround from the third quarter when the Wizards (4-8) outscored Toronto 32-15, turning a 13-point halftime deficit into a four-point lead going into the final quarter. Washington point guard John Wall, who had a game-high 37 points, scored 18 in the quarter. "Teams are going to go on runs," said Toronto forward Tyler Hansbrough, who had eight points and six rebounds off the bench. "As we continue to grow, we cant have lapses where it carries over and have a hangover until the fourth quarter. "Weve got to keep on moving and thats what happened." The Raptors, who shot 47 per cent from the field on the night, featured a balanced attack, with six players finishing with double figures in points. Jonas Valanciunas had 11 points and 13 rebounds. "Third quarter, we have to figure that out sooner or later," said guard Kyle Lowry, who had 12 points, nine assists and six rebounds on the night. "(But) that group that came in in the fourth did a great job getting us a 10-point lead. "They (Wizards) made a run at the end but we closed it out." Toronto returned to Air Canada Centre to open a four-game homestand -- their longest of the season -- leading the division for the first time since they won it in 2007. And the Raptors came out flying, shooting an eye-popping 67 per cent from the field in the first quarter to take a five-point lead, which they widened to a 13-point edge at halftime. It appeared the Raptors were on the way to an easy victory before Wall, the first overall draft pick in the 2010 NBA draft, who signed a five-year, US$80 million contract extension in July, went off. "You can see why he got paid all that money," De Rozan said. "Hes definitely a heck of a player. "He has the passion to win and he showed that in the third quarter to try and bring his team back. "We had to withstand that as much as we could and get the win." The Raptors return to action Tuesday hosting Brooklyn before closing out the homestand with games against Miami and Denver. Marlon Humphrey Womens Jersey .Mihajlovic was sent off minutes from the end of Thursdays 2-0 win over Brescia and has been punished for using a disrespectful expression toward the fourth official and throwing the contents of a bottle of water at him, thus assuming an intimidating attitude. Tyus Bowser Womens Jersey . Its the second of three meetings between these teams this season.  Vancouver was a 2-1 winner on home ice December 22nd.LONDON - Emmanuel Adebayor gave Tottenhams Champions League pursuit a timely tonic on Sunday, clinching a barely-deserved 1-0 victory over Everton to dislodge the losers from fifth place in the Premier League. By overcoming one of this seasons top-five teams for the first time despite being largely outplayed, Tottenham moved just three points behind fourth-place Liverpool. Spurs scored from their only shot on target, with Adebayor controlling a free kick, taken swiftly and smartly by Kyle Walker, and going past Seamus Coleman and dispatching the ball into the net in the 65th minute. "The ball was great, the control was not bad and I had one choice — to finish with my left foot," Adebayor said. Having collected just one point from its previous two matches, Tottenhams season now appears to be back on track again as it moved nine points behind leader Chelsea. For Everton, so impressive in its first season under Roberto Martinez, this was only the Merseyside teams third league loss in four months. And the hard-working, well-drilled Toffees should have come away from White Hart Lane with at least a point. "We have to hope football wont be that harsh on us again," Martinez said, with 13 games remaining. Leon Osman had a trio of chances in the opening 10 minutes alone, with the best of them — a volley — turned wide by Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. Overrunning the hosts in midfield, Everton was preventing Tottenham making an impact, and leaving them exposed on counterattacks. Tim Howward was barely troubled in the Everton goal, with a free kick from Christian Eriksen that dipped over him onto the roof of the net providing a rare moment of danger. Chris Wormley Jersey. But when Everton was presented with scoring opportunities, too often they were wasted. Winger Kevin Mirallas rampaged through the Tottenham defence and reached the edge of the area but then struck over rather than picking out one of his better-positioned teammates. As halftime approached, Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood was becoming increasingly anxious, going from bellowing instructions to cursing misses. There was little change at the start of the second half, with Sherwood kicking bottles and accidentally sending spray across the technical area. "Im not pleased about how we are starting games," Sherwood said. "Its something we have to address and find out why." What was missing from either team, since those early Osman chances, was a player to find a breakthrough amid their midfield sparring. "I want them to play with risk," Sherwood said. "It was a bit stodgy in there." Then, out of nowhere, came Adebayors sixth goal in nine league games since being brought in from the cold by Sherwood after being sidelined by Andre Villas-Boas. "Its all about how hes being managed," Sherwood said somewhat mischievously. And it was enough to clinch the three points for Tottenham, which had previously failed to beat top-four rivals Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool this season. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

OTTAWA -- The Ottawa Senators have agreed to terms with defenceman Jared Cowen on a four-year contract. Jarrad Davis Womens Jersey . Sources tell TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie the deal is worth $12.4 million for an average annual value of $3.1 million. Cowen began the 2012-13 season with the Binghamton Senators, recording three assists in three games. He underwent surgery in November to repair a torn labrum in his left hip, sidelining him until April when he made his NHL season debut against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 22-year-old Cowen played seven regular-season NHL games last season, scoring one goal. He also played in each of Ottawas 10 playoff games against the Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Penguins, recording three assists and 21 penalty minutes. Cowen missed the start of training camp as his contract negotiations dragged. "Its great, you go through a hard negotiation and things are said, but we obviously love this guy as a player, as a person, hes what we want," Senators assistant general manager Tim Murray said. "Hes kind of a poster boy of what we want here. He works extremely hard, hes low maintenance, he plays hard, he competes, we love him as a player. "Im just happy its over and I hope hes as happy as we are." Cowen was the Senators first-round pick (ninth overall) in the 2009 NHL draft. He played in all 82 games of his rookie season with the Senators in 2011-12, scoring five goals and adding 12 assists. Jarrad Davis Lions Jersey . The seventh seed from Westmount, Que., will next play the unseeded Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania (42nd), who beat Germanys Carina Witthoeft (104th) 6-4, 6-4 later Friday. Bouchard made her breakthrough in Melbourne a year ago, reaching her first Grand Slam semifinal and duplicating that showing four months later in Paris before playing the Wimbledon final. The 20-year-olds win over the 36th-ranked Garcia made amends for a loss to the French player last year in Acapulco. I wasnt playing great tennis in the first. I feel like she was putting some pressure on me and I really didnt feel like I got a rhythm, said Bouchard. But Im happy that I just kept going. Even if it wasnt going so well, I was able to turn it around. So, I loosened up a bit and started going for my shots and playing my game, which is what I need to do more. Probably taking a bit of time away from her stepping in. Though she will not be facing a seed in the next round, Bouchard remains on guard against any potential upset threat in her weekend fourth-round test. Every player here is really good. Its the fourth round of a Grand Slam. Michael Roberts Jersey. Anyone you play will be super-tough, she said. Ill be ready for a battle, Ill try to play my game and have some fun also. Bouchard earned her win over Garcia with a performance witnessed by her several-dozen strong singing, chanting Genie Army fans, all wearing matching maple leaf t-shirts. She finished the match in 78 minutes. The opening set turned into a struggle for both women, with six breaks of serve. Bouchard struck a key blow in the marathon sixth game which lasted nearly a quarter of an hour and did not end until Bouchard converted on a seventh break point as Garcia netted a backhand for 3-all. But moments later, Bouchard was on the back foot after losing serve, only to get it back in the next game and square the set at 4-4. Bouchard broke in the 12th game to claim the 56-minute set, as Garcia sent a forehand wide. The momentum completely shifted in the second set as Bouchard suddenly became untouchable, winning the contest on her second match point. I just tried to stay calm, Bouchard said. I knew that I would hopefully find my groove at some point. Kept going, going, tried to stay with her on her service games. I was telling myself to be ready for anything and try to get a rhythm even though it was hard. Finally it clicked a little bit and I was able to roll. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

ARLINGTON, Texas - Yu Darvish gave the injury-riddled Texas Rangers a nice send-off on an important road trip that includes all three teams above them in the AL West standings. Myles Garrett Womens Jersey . The Japanese aces first complete game in the major leagues — a shutout, no less — still cant hide a sobering reality. The Rangers are eight games behind Oakland and dangerously close to last-place Houston, a 100-loss team for three years running. Texas just made its 20th move on the disabled list. Four first basemen are on the DL. Left-handed starter Martin Perez wont be back until sometime during the 2015 season. Matt Harrison, another lefty that was supposed to be in the rotation, may be finished for good. Somehow the Rangers will try to find a way to gain ground starting Friday night in visits to Seattle, division-leading Oakland and the Los Angeles Angels. "At some point, weve got to start getting blessed by the baseball gods," manager Ron Washington said. "But we have to make that happen. Theyre not just going to come down and say, OK, you all have been through enough misery. Im going to take you out of it. No, youve got to pull yourself out of your misery." The Rangers have actually done it once already. They started a challenging 11-game trip last month on the biggest downer of the season: news that first baseman Prince Fielder needed neck surgery and was finished for the year. Texas took three of four from AL Central-leading Detroit and ended up winning seven games, capped by Darvishs eight shutout innings in a 2-0 win at Washington. Fielders replacement is the problem this time, with Mitch Moreland finally giving in to the need for surgery on an ailing left ankle. The first report was he would miss three months, but now theres a chance he could opt for a procedure that will reduce his absence to four weeks. Regardless, the Rangers had to give Brad Snyder a crash course on playing first at Triple-A Round Rock, and he started the final two games of the last homestand. Jim Adduci figured to follow Moreland, but he rebroke his left pinkie finger near the end of a rehab assignment and will probably miss another month. The Rangers have used 40 players, and 10 are rookies. They have a majors-leading 14 players on the DL. "I think for a little while, the training staff was like hesitant to deliver some of this news to Wash or myself," general manager Jon Daniels said. "But I think theyve gotten over that unfortunately." With the rotation crumbling around him and the Rangers carrying an AL-worst 4.53 ERA, Darvish is on the best run of his three seasons in the majors. In his last six starts, he is 5-1 with a 1.51 ERA and 59 strikeouts in 47 2-3 innings. "Of course I get comfort with Darvish out there," Washington said before the right-hander ended a four-game losing streak in a 6-0 win over Miami. "Its not just Darvish. Darvish can go out there and pitch real well and if we dont score any runs, it wont matter." DeShone Kizer Jersey .J. -- After getting permission from his 7-year-old daughter, New York Giants offensive lineman David Diehl has retired after an 11-year career that included two Super Bowl championships. Myles Garrett Jersey . Federer, who began his preparations for Wimbledon by defeating Portugals Joao Sousa on Thursday, compensated by playing an exhibition against Christopher Kas. Former champion Philipp Kohlschreiber booked his semifinaal place with a hard-fought 6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (16) victory over German compatriot Dustin Brown. Larry Ogunjobi Browns Jersey. . J. Chris Godwin Jersey .J. Watt has moved from the football field to South Park.A cartoon version of Houstons defensive end appeared briefly on an episode of the Comedy Central show this week. He appears in the episode called (#)HappyHolograms as part of a Christmas special some of the characters on the show were involved with. Hes depicted in his No. 99 jersey hugging a reindeer.Watt said he wouldnt watch the show, but was a bit worried that theyd make fun of him.I have never seen an episode of South Park before, but Ive heard what they do to people, so it will be pretty interesting to see what they have to say, he said before it aired.Even though he was slightly concerned about how he would be portrayed, he took it as a compliment that they decided to use his likeness in the show. There are some pretty big names on there, so its an honour, he said.Watt, third in the NFL with 14 1/2 sacks and who has scored five touchdowns, said a lot of people had talked to him about South Park since the image was leaked a few days ago.A lot of my friends think its really, really cool so I guess that means something, he said.SUPPORT FOR HARBAUGH: Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh have had their share of tense moments over the years, from the college game to their moves to the NFL. Yet Carroll, the Seattle coach and Harbaughs biggest rival in the NFC West, is supporting his 49ers counterpart at a time everybody figures Harbaugh is on his way out.Harbaugh has one season remaining on the $25 million, five-year contract he signed in January 2011. His Niners play Sunday at Seattle, where the Seahawks beat San Francisco by six points in the NFC championship game last January on the way to a Super Bowl title.Carroll said he wouldnt comment on the garbage of speculation surrounding the future for Harbaugh, who recruited Carrolls son to San Diego.Ive never seen him not be a really good coach, Carroll said. Hes a fantastic football coach. Ive watched him do all the stuff he did at Stanford and turned that program around. What hes done at the Niners, I know that hes a great football coach. Not everybody likes everybody or gets along with everybody, but sometimes they dont see the magic that guys have. I think hes a fantastic football coach. Hes proven that. Theres no question about that. One of their infamous moments came in a surprising 55-21 rout by Harbaughs No. 25 Stanford against Carrolls 11th-ranked Southern California team in 2009. The Cardinal even attempted a 2-point conversion with the game way out of reach, prompting Carrolls infamous Whats your deal? when the coaching rivals met afterward at midfield.Hes a stud. He aint going to waver, Carroll said. Hes going to keep battling and do what he does. Hes a great competitor. Always has been. Thats why theyre so dangerous coming in right now because of his leadership, his toughness about the way he runs his program. I have tremendous respect for him.All the other stuff you guys have always thought was going on (between us), there aint much to it. This is two football guys going at it, two guys that love to compete and battle and theres nobody Id rather play. I love playing against him and thats the way its been since the beginning.COMING HOME: This is the time of the season when bottom-of-the-roster transactions pick up with teams positioning for next season. So on the surface Minnesotas signing offensive tackle Carter Bykowski off San Franciscos practice squad was no special move.Except that Bykowski grew up in Eden Prairie a few miles away from where the Vikings have their headquarters, playing in high school for coach Mike Grant, the son of former Vikings coach and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Bud Grant. Bykowski was a boyhood friend and teammate of Ryan Grant, Mike Grants son and Bud Grants grandson, so hes no stranger to one of the most influential figures in franchise history. He might not recognize me or remember me. I was 240 back then in high school, said Bykowski, whos listed at 6-foot-7 and 306 pounds.Bykowski went to Iowa State as a tight end but moved to tackle as his upper body filled out. He was a seventh-round draft pick by the 49ers in 2013.I had a great time there, but its a good opportunity here so youve got to take advantage of it, he said. The call from his agent with the news on Monday was entirely unexpected for Bykowski. It was unbelievable. Its pretty sweet to go home, he said.SUHS SWAN SONG?: This weekend could be the last home game at Ford Field for Ndamukong Suh. The Detroit defensive tackle can become a free agent after this season. The Lions are in the mix for a post-season spot, but theres certainly no guarantee of any more home games after Sundays against Minnesota. Suh isnt tipping his hand on any future plans. Not a clue, he said Wednesday. Its not my decision.Huh?Suh said reporters should talk to Jimmy Sexton, his agent, if they want information on his free agency.Itll be Jimmys decision, so well go with that, he said.CHICKEN OR FISH? Von Miller is still in the bird business, raising chickens back home in Texas. But now hes also into fish. The Broncos pass rusher said he just purchased a 300-gallon saltwater tank for his home in Denver. He wanted some sharks, but theyd knock over the colorful coral. And he doesnt want to mix predators with nonpredators. So hes still deciding which fish to get.Miller said he cant have a dog because he puts in such long hours at work, so he went with the fish tank. When teammates asked him this week where they could buy some tropical fish themselves, Miller whipped out his phone and told them, No, dont go to a pet store. Ill hook you up with my fish dude.Hes a got a guy that handles his fish?Yeah, he said hell come over, and every week, to check on them, Miller said. Hes my fish dude.ONE-BACK BENGALS: The Bengals are moving away from their two-back approach.Cincinnati originally intended to use Giovani Bernard and rookie Jeremy Hill as complementary running backs. Bernard started the first seven games before he was sidelined for three by shoulder and hip injuries. Hill emerged in his absence, running for more than 150 yards twice.Offensive co-ordinator Hue Jackson tried blending Bernard back into the mix for three games, with unsatisfying results. Hill carried only eight times for 48 yards during a 42-21 loss to the Steelers on Sunday, while Bernard had six carries for 17 yards. Its apparent that Hill, more of a power runner, will be getting the bulk of the plays going forward.Im used to having one guy kind of dominate some carries because in order for backs to be really good, theyve got to get lathered up to play, Jackson said. Youve got to get a feel for the game.We have two capable guys and theyre different guys and well let it play itself out, but I think we have a pretty good idea which way were headed.___AP Pro Football Writers Barry Wilner, Dave Campbell and Arnie Stapleton, and Sports Writers Joe Kay, Janie McCauley and Kristie Rieken contributed to this notebook.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL O. J. Howard Womens Jersey . New Zealand brushed aside England 26-7 to win the event and reclaim top spot in the overall standings. The All Blacks, the defending World Series champions, won their third tournament this season in style, running four tries past England to claim their 11th Cup championship in Hong Kong and first since 2011. Chris Godwin Womens Jersey . Ending a nine-game losing streak? That gave the Milwaukee Bucks veteran forward a reason to smile. The Colorado Avalanche have one loss in their first 13 games and have taken over top spot in the TSN.ca NHL Power Rankings. What sets the Avalanche apart right now, and cant possibly last at this level of performance, is goaltending. Semyon Varlamov and Jean-Sebastien Giguere have combined to stop 95.5% of the shots theyve faced, an incredible number over 13 games, let alone a full season. Until that regression hits the crease, however, the Avalanche have earned their place at the top of the Power Rankings. Movign up this week, the Pittsburgh Penguins have won four straight and climb from 11 to seven, while the Anaheim Ducks are 4-0-1 in their last five and have jumped from 15 to 10 as a result. The Detroit Red Wings have one regulation loss in the last six, and moved from 20 to 12, while the New York Rangers are starting to see some positives and were bumped from 28 to 24. Secondary scoring has been an issue for the Boston Bruins, enough that they have only one shootout win in their last four games. resulting in a fall from four to 11. Goalltending has, not surprisingly, been an issue for the Calgary Flames and while they got good results from Reto Berra in his first start, it remains a concern. Justin Evans Womens Jersey. In any case, the Flames have slipped from 12 to 17. Goaltending is an issue for the Carolina Hurricanes too, with third-stringer Justin Peters forced to start, but the Hurricanes arent scoring either, with five goals in five straight losses. Theyve dropped from 24 to 29. Among Canadian teams, the Vancouver Canucks are up to four, after five wins in the last six games, including Saturdays win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, who fall from six to nine. Getting healthier, the Montreal Canadiens are up one spot, from 14 to 13, while the Winnipeg Jets hold steady at 22, five spots ahead of the Edmonton Oilers, who cant get healthy, which is hardly the recipe to turn around their disappointing start. MIAMI -- Right-hander Bryan Morris was traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Miami Marlins, who gave up the 39th overall pick in Thursdays draft. Leonard Fournette Womens Jersey . Miami also placed catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia on the seven-day concussion list Sunday and recalled catcher J.T. Realmuto from Double-A Jacksonville. Saltalamacchia was hurt when he took a foul tip off his face mask in Saturdays game against Atlanta. Morris will join the Marlins on Monday and is expected to give their struggling bullpen a boost. Through Saturday, Miamis relievers ranked 21st in the majors with an ERA of 3.96, while the starters ranked 10th with an ERA of 3.70. "Weve had some issues in the bullpen, and we just wanted to make it deeper," president of baseball operations Mike Hill said. Morris is 4-0 with a 3.80 ERA in 21 games this year, and he has a career ERA of 3.46 in 81 games. He was a first-round draft pick by the Dodgers in 2006. "Weve seen a lot of him," Hill said. "He was a first-round pick out of high school -- a power arm up to 97, and a power curveball behind that." The Marlins traded away their third pick in the draft. They still have six of the first 107 picks. Realmuto, a third-round pick in 2010, batted .301 with five homers and 31 RBIs for Jacksonville. "We want to try to get him in a couple of games," manager Mike Redmond said. "Were hoping that Salty is just a short-term deal, but you never know with concussions." Saltalamacchia batted only .177 in May, dropping his average for the season to .237, and he has committed eight errors. Dawuane Smoot Jersey . -- Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice tweeted an apparent goodbye after a report about his pending release. Cam Robinson Youth Jersey . -- LeBron James warned the Orlando Magic to stop double-teaming him and ignoring James Jones. The Winnipeg Jets look for their third straight win on home as they host the Carolina Hurricanes in a 6:00ct face off at MTS Centre. The (32-30-9) Jets have 73 points and trail the Phoenix Coyotes by six points for a Western Conference Wild Card playoff spot.  The Coyotes host Boston tonight. Al Montoya will start in goal. Jets Projected Lines: Ladd-Little-FrolikByfuglien-Jokinen-WheelerKane-ODell-SetoguchiHalischuk-Slater-Peluso Enstrom-BogosianStuart-TroubaPardy-Ellerby Winnipeg made one roster move this afternoon re-assigning forward John Albert to the AHLs St. Johns Ice Caps. Evander Kane is on a three game point streak that includes two goals and one assist. The Jets have successfully killed off 12 consecutive opposing power plays in their last four home games. Carolina is cooming off a 3-2 loss last night in Chicago. Dede Westbrook Jersey.   Its the final game of a three game road trip in which they have a 1-1 record. The (30-31-9) Hurricanes have 69 points and trail Columbus for an Eastern Conference Wild Card playoff spot by nine points. Carolina did not have a pregame skate this morning at MTS Centre. Cam Ward is expected to start in goal. Hurricanes Projected Lines:  J.
