The club announced Friday that Mauro Biello will be kept on as an assistant to coach Jesse Marsch when the Impact join the MLS in 2012. Vin Baker Jersey . Cellino was ordered by a judge to pay a 600,000 euro ($800,000) fine for evading import taxes on a yacht he purchased in the United States and brought to Italy, the ANSA news agency reported.MONTREAL -- When the Montreal Impact left Thursday morning to start the Major League Soccer season in Dallas, defender Heath Pearce was on the plane. The 29-year-old American international, who is coming off hip surgery and who was released by the New York Red Bulls after the 2013 campaign, has agreed to a contact with the Impact. The length of the deal and his salary were not disclosed. Coach Frank Klopas said this week that if Pearce can regain full fitness, his signing "could end up being a steal." Pearce has played 106 MLS games over the last five seasons, including 100 starts. He has two goals and 12 assists. He also played two seasons each in Germany and Denmark and has been selected 35 times to the U.S. national team. "Hes played in the league and in Europe and he brings a lot of experience," said assistant coach Mauro Biello. "Its someone that understands. He brings leadership. These are all important qualities he can bring to the team." When he is ready to play full games, he will give Klopas options on the back line. Pearce mainly plays left back, a position held last season by Jeb Brovsky, but can also play in the middle and Brovsky can also play on the right side. The Impact open the season Saturday in Dallas and will stay in Texas to play at Houston the following week before returning for their home opener March 22 at Olympicc Stadium. Ray Allen Jersey. "Having played over 100 games in this league, his experience and soccer savvy will bring a lot to the team," sporting director Nick De Santis said in a statement. "He is a natural left back, who will give us more depth on defence and who can contribute to the offence as well. "Heath is highly motivated to get back to the level that saw him on the national team at one point in his career." Pearce became the top signing by the Impact, who made few off-season moves after finishing fifth in the Eastern Conference in 2013. He joined the Impact during training camp in Orlando, Fla. He played parts of two pre-season games and said he is getting close to match fit. The Modesto, Calif. native underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his hip in July. The injury had been nagging at him for a couple of seasons before he went to get it fixed. He said he had offers from other MLS clubs, but chose Montreal because he liked Klopas coaching style and felt the Impact were a "multicultured team with a ton of experience." Pearce, a three-time MLS all-star, joined FC Dallas in 2009 and later played for Chivas USA before joining the Red Bulls in 2012. He was a fixture on the U.S. team earlier in his career, especially at the 2009 Confederations Cup and the 2009 Gold Cup, but has been overlooked in recent years. Cheap NFL JerseysCheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

CHICAGO -- Edwin Jackson wanted to leave the mound on his own terms. Nick Castellanos Jersey . Jackson struck out 11 in seven innings and Welington Castillo hit a two-run double to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 3-0 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Jackson (3-3) had his best outing for the Cubs since signing a four-year, $52 million deal before the 2013 season. The right-hander allowed four hits and walked one. He struck out the side in the first and struck out Elian Herrera to end the fifth for his 10th strikeout. He finished his outing by striking out Jeff Bianchi on 95 mph fastball. Jackson received a visit from manager Rick Renteria after giving up an 0-2 single to Jean Segura with one out in the seventh, but Jackson persuaded Renteria to let him finish the inning. "He wanted it. I didnt say a whole lot," Renteria said. "He said, I got this." "I definitely wanted to let him know I wanted to finish that inning," Jackson said. "I had just given up an 0-2 hit from not executing a pitch, but I just wanted to let him know I felt good, and I felt confident that I can go out and finish the inning. He heard me, he listen to me, I guess he heard the conviction. I was glad to walk off the field on my own." That wasnt always the case in 2013 when Jackson lost 18 games. "I felt comfortable last year, last year, I just didnt get the job done," Jackson said. Hector Rondon pitched a perfect ninth for his fourth save in four opportunities. Starlin Castro had an RBI double for the last-place Cubs, who won just for the third time in 13 games. Milwaukee starter Matt Garza (2-4) was tagged for three runs on four hits. The former Cub had his second straight start that he allowed three runs in the first inning. Garza said he did not have extra adrenaline in his first start at Wrigley since being traded by the Cubs last season to the Texas Rangers. "Nope. I told you guys the first time; its just another game," Garza said. "It stinks the way it turned out, but theres no more or less emotion. Every time I go out there I go out there the same way." The right-hander did rebound by not allowing a hit until a leadoff single by Anthony Rizzo in the sixth inning. He struck out seven and walked one. Milwaukee leadoff hitter Carlos Gomez was a late scratch from the Brewers lineup because of lower back tightness. He was due back Saturday after serving a three-game suspension for his actions in a bench-clearing incident against the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 20. Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun was loudly booed before his first at-bat in the first inning. Braun played in his first game at Wrigley Field since serving 65-game suspension last season for his involvement with the Biogenesis drug scandal. The Cubs didnt waste any time testing Garzas fielding ability. Emilio Bonifacio led off the first with a perfectly placed bunt that Garza wasnt able to reach in time to have a chance to throw out Bonifacio at first. Bonifacio later scored on Castros double. With two outs, Castillo lined a double down the left field line to score Castro and Nate Schierholtz to take a 3-0 lead. "Of course, Im frustrated, man," Garza said. "What do you think, Im happy? Its the worst freaking start of my career, dude. Yeah, Im frustrated. I hate this, this feeling. "So its keep grinding and keep getting ready every five days. Thats about all I can do," he said. NOTES: Brewers RHP Jim Henderson (shoulder inflammation) is on the DL and scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Sunday. Hes eligible to come off the DL Sunday, but no word when he might return. ... Braun is playing with a right oblique strain and is less than 100 per cent, but manager Ron Roenicke said he likes having a limited Braun in the lineup because Aramis Ramirez (strained left hamstring) is out. "With Aramis now out of there, it would be really tough (playing without Braun). And Ryan, hes good even when hes not 100 per cent," said Roenicke. ... Highly touted Cubs prospect Javier Baez is struggling in Triple-A Iowa. In 29 games, the shortstop is hitting .145 with three home runs and 11 RBIs. Hes also committed seven errors. Ian Kinsler Jersey . The two-time Olympic halfpipe gold medallist informed ESPN on Monday he plans to compete in Apsen, Colo. Miguel Cabrera Jersey . After rookie right-hander Alex Colome excelled in a 5-2 victory in the opener, the Rays fell to Chris Tillman and the Orioles 4-1 on Friday night.MINSK, Belarus -- Defending champion Sweden edged Norway 2-1 Tuesday for its third straight victory at the hockey world championships. Linus Klasen was in front of the net to knock in the winner off a pass from Gustav Nyquist 7:18 into the final period for the Swedish comeback. "I just tried to break through to the net and then went around and tried to put it backdoor for Klasen and he was able to put it in," Nyquist said. Sweden remains the only unbeaten team in Group A. It leads with eight points from three games, followed by Canada with seven points and Norway with six. In other games, Finland blanked Germany 4-0 in Group B and Denmark beat Italy 4-1 in Group A for their first victories. Sondre Olden put Norway 1-0 ahead on a breakaway in the second half before Joakim Lindstrom tied it for Sweden on a power play. "It was a tough game," said Nyquist, a Detroit Red Wings forward. "They were tight on us, they had a lot of guys back and we had to go through five guys the whole time. We didnt create enough chances thats something we got to work on." Added Norway defenceman Jonas Holos: "We battled hard again, but theyre better than us." In another Group B game, defenceman Arturs Kulda scored twice and Juris Stals netted the decisive goal 3:22 into the third period to lift Latvia past Kazakhstan 5-4 for its second win. Mark Lowe Tigers Jersey. After losses to Latvia and Russia, Finland finally found its stride. Petri Kontiola and Jarkko Immonens first-period goals gave the Finns a 2-0 lead before Olli Palola and Leo Komarov scored 30 seconds apart in the second. "Maybe its a bit of a turning point. Its certainly good to get a smile back on our faces," Kontiola said. Goaltender Pekka Rinne made 20 saves for the shutout. Latvia has six points in Group B, Finland has three, Germany five and Kazakhstan one. Jannik Hansen scored short-handed for Denmark. Jesper Jensen and Emil Kristensen netted one each before Kim Staal added the last into an empty net. Denmark next plays Canada on Thursday. "If this tournament has proved anything its that anybody can beat anybody," Hansen said about Denmarks hopes to advance to the quarterfinals. "If you have a fortunate day and couple of bounces, anything can happen." Diego Kostner scored for Italy. "Tactically, defensively we played a sound, solid game" Italy coach Tom Pokel said. "So it was a tough one to swallow today." Denmark and Italy have three points each in Group A. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Johan Franzen had two goals and two assists, Gustav Nyquist a goal and three assists and David Legwand a goal and two assists in the Red Wings 7-4 win over the New Jersey Devils.11:30am A clutch of excited boys cleverly disguised as middle-aged writers take turns sampling assorted sensations of speed at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The reason were here: its nearly time for Torontos Honda Indy and Honda Canada is gearing up for the big race with this event featuring Indy racing rock star James Hinchcliffe. The event features track time in three different cars: a Formula F race car; a 2014 Honda Civic Coupe Si, a zippy street monster whose 2.4L 4-cylinder engine emits 205hp and 174lb.-ft. torque; and some dangerous-looking go karts that speed up to 70 km/h mere centimeters from the ground. Hinchcliffe is just the big draw for our editors. Its driving the cars that were here for! To be fair, Hinchcliffe is a draw. Not only are his racing credentials impeccable—Hinch managed three Indy victories last year and took home 2011s ‘Rookie of the Year title—but hes a rare Canadian who has made a name for himself as a professional racer. Calling my own experience on the track “racing” is something akin to sitting in a 25-cent grocery store ride-on space-ship and calling that a trip to the moon. But, let me try to explain what it felt like anyway, because its about as close as most of us normals will get to the moon—or to being a professional race car driver. 9:00am Appropriately Lightening Crashes and rains falls until just minutes ago. So, despite the rising heat, the three tracks are patchily damp and puddled. My group is driving the go karts first. 24 year-old Daniel Morad, already a Canadian racing legend (he won the 2007 American Formula BMW championship and 2010 World Championship in the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in La Conca, Italy), warns us of oversteer. We have rear brakes only on this wet, yet wonderfully challenging track. In spite of Morads warnings, for a half hour, we all spin 360 degrees in turns tighter than LIVE performing a third encore after a four-month tour. 10:30am ‘Use the whole track. The peppy Civic Si is my flying classroom. Voice crackling instructions via walkie-talkie, pro driver Jeff Boyce coaches us. We take turns flying through the circuit behind Boyce, observing where he floats, brakes, begins and completes turning. Pylons at corner apexes beckon the eye (briefly) into turns. Other series of cones, grouped into threes, twos and ones inform when to brake, then turn. Theres a lot to know and years of poor habits to overcome. It occurs to me how fortunate my group is. We began with fun go karting to quell nerves, then this technically challenging and massively educational hands-on schooling in Civics to heighten awareness — saving the best for last. Then we see the Formula F racer up close. ‘Will we eeven fit in that? 11:20am Im a sausage, zipped inside a Honda suit that restricts breathing, shimmying into the Formula F ‘casing. Joaquin Benoit Mariners Jersey. They remove the steering wheel for driver access. My small Caucasian keister and broadish shoulders barely fit. Its uncomfortably tiny, like the suit. Then they say, “Go!” Suddenly, this restrictive cylinder magically expands to an angelic extension of my consciousness — a roaring vengeful angel! The steering is too precise; it feels unreal. Marking then finding apex and braking cones becomes almost second nature. The shifter is the width of a pencil and tempting to shift with pinky extended as though drinking tea. Power? The uninitiated may scoff at the 2013 Honda Fit engine, outputting 110 hp. But this speedster weighs just 1,125 lbs with driver (keep in mind that a driverless Smart car weighs 1,650). Then theres the speed sensation. Consider: why does sliding prone on a skateboard, face near the ground, trump 900 km/h at 20,000 ft? Perspective. The VanDiemens view is about as high as the go kart — but 17 times more powerful. Imagine driving a really fast and stiff sleeping bag. And the feeling? Like a sunny Friday June afternoon when you got a raise and your boss was fired. 11:40am Im shotgun as Hinchcliffe rips out a hot lap. Weirdly, its nothing compared to the crack hit I was riding just minutes back. The car is so much higher up, it feels more normal, and when youre just a passenger youre not the one with all that power at your disposal. For Hinch doing these hot laps must be about as thrilling as an unintended afternoon nap. Leading up to lunch, I poll the events professional drivers for tips on driving better. * James Hinchcliffe: “Safety is the most important thing for people who want to drive better. For young people interested in racing, theres a whole other side to your career — the marketing.” * Chris Bye: Three-day racing courses re-teach important basics. They cost thousands but nobody ever told him it wasnt worth it, even if they never raced afterwards. * Jeff Boyce: Take his race-school training. * Daniel Morad: Using a different language, he said the same. What acute irony that Hinch emphasized marketings importance just before his colleagues shilled for their driving schools. Yet they werent wrong. If dangerous idiots were forced to buy track lessons and learn the essentials of speed and motion, our roads would be far safer. Noon Aglow from driving the light speed Formula F, I spy a pretty woman grilling meat and accept the rawest steak she has. Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork. Brad Boxberger Rays Jersey .com) - Nikita Zadorov scored his first goal of the season 29 seconds into overtime to send the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-3 win over the Florida Panthers on Saturday. Brian Giontas third-period goal tied the game for the Sabres and ended a run of three straight Panthers goals. Buffalo also got goals from Cody Hodgson and Marcus Foligno to win its third straight game. Jhonas Enroth made 25 saves in the win. Sean Bergenheim and Jimmy Hayes scored second-period goals to erase a 2-0 deficit for Florida, which lost two of three games on its road trip. Al Montoya made 28 saves for the Panthers but did not stop the only shot he faced in OT. It seems like its common ground these last couple of games in that first period we start digging ourselves a hole, Montoya said. Tyler Ennis puck-handling at the side of the net caught the attention of the Panthers defense, and they missed Zadorov jumping into the play from the point on the backside. Zadorov then wristed the puck by Montoya to end it. The Panthers took their first lead of the game 57 seconds into the final period. A Sabres neutral-zone turnover sent Dave Bolland skating the other way. Bolland connected with Jokinen and his shot found the back of the net. Later in the third, Tyler Myers found Gionta with a stretch pass through the neutral zone that sent the Buffalo captain in on a breakaway. Giontas shot beat Montoya to tie the game at 3-3 with 12:33 left. Buffalo needed just 2:06 to take the lead in the first period. Hodgson was scratched in Thursdays game and hasnt scored since Oct. 25, but he was able to find a soft spot in the defense, receive a pass from Patrick Kaleta and wrist a shot by Montoya. Its nice to get on the board offensively, but more important to be part of the team and be on the ice, Hodgson said. Eleven minutes later, Foligno extended the Sabres lead with an wrist shot that found its way past Montoya. A Sabres giveaway a minute into the middle period got the Panthers back into the game. Rasmus Ristolainen gave away the puck at the side of the net and Bergenheim was right there to capitalize with his fifth goal of the season. Not even five minutes later, Bergenheim spotted Hayes standing alone at the opposite goal post. His pass across the crease was on the mark, and Hayes lifted the puck by Enroth to tie the game. Game Notes Buffalo has won five straight home games ... The Sabres win snapped a four- game losing streak at home to the Panthers ... Buffalos Drew Stafford has two goals and two assists in a four game point streak ... This is only the third time this season the Sabres have outshot their opponent ... Montoya played in his 100th NHL game. Wade Boggs Jersey ." The tournament was set to be held Sept. 15-21 and would have been the first ATP tournament held in Israel since 1996. Reals Antoine Griezmann scored in the waning moments to cancel out Lionel Messis first-half opener but the Spanish champions still reached the domestic cup final 3-1 overall. Goalkeeper Enaut Zubikarai did his part to keep Sociedad alive at the Anoeta with several key saves but the Basque clubs attack just couldnt respond despite Carlos Vela hitting the crossbar in the 55th. Barcelona, the record 26-time cup champion, faces Madrid three years after losing to its bitter foe 1-0 in extra time in a classic final. Barcelona and Madrid go into the April 19th match having split their six previous meetings in the cup final. "Its a clasico, and theres nothing more to say," Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino said. "We were obliged to reach the final after Real Madrid ensured its place." The hosts constantly pressed Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto but Messi proved the difference early on. He capped his individual run aat goal in the 27th minute by unleashing a shot between three defenders that Zubikarai got a touch to but couldnt keep from creeping over the line. Tampa Bay Rays Matt Duffy Jersey. Zubikarai was sensational after that as he denied Pedro Rodriguez, with Pinto called on to deny Vela at the other end as Dani Alves arrived to clear the loose ball at the post. Andres Iniestas outstanding second half began with a near-miss just before Vela found the crossbar. Zubikarai made back-to-back stops on Messi and Cesc Fabregas while Griezmann was unlucky on the hour mark after failing to get a shot away on a break. Barcelona had done well to subdue Reals attacks but could only watch as the hosts executed a perfect counter for French forward Griezmann to equalize with three minutes to play. Martino said Xavi Hernandezs second-half substitution was because of a knock that he hoped would not become an injury. "The fact that these players reach so many finals and still value reaching another final is a great thing," said Martino, who has already led Barcelona to the Spanish Supercup during his first season in charge. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

CARSON, Calif. Glen Rice Jersey . - Erick Torres scored his 10th goal of the season on a stunning volley, and Chivas USA edged 10-man Real Salt Lake 1-0 on Saturday night. Torres one-touch finish to the upper near post, off a long cross by Tony Lochhead, came in the 35th minute. Lochhead stole the ball near midfield, took two dribbles, lobbed a pass to the inside of the penalty area and Torres timed it perfectly to put it past goalkeeper Cole Grossman. Chivas USA (3-7-5) ended a four-game winless streak and recorded its first shutout of the season. Real Salt Lakes Luke Mulholland was given a red card in the ninth minute for a studs-up tackle of Martin Rivero. RSL (6-3-7) was already without central midfielder Kyle Beckerman and goalkeeper Nick Rimando, who are playing in the World Cup for the U.S. The loss extended Real Salt Lakes winless streak to five matches. Roy Hibbert Hornets Jersey . New York secured second place in the Metropolitan Division when the Philadelphia Flyers lost at Tampa Bay later Thursday. The Rangers will face either the Flyers or Columbus in the opening round of the post-season. The Rangers struggled throughout against the lowly Sabres and goalie Matt Hackett, who played in just his seventh NHL game of the season. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Jersey . If Vettel wins at Suzuka on Sunday, and his nearest rival Fernando Alonso finishes worse than eighth, the German driver will join his compatriot Michael Schumacher and Argentine Juan-Manuel Fangio as the only men to win four consecutive titles. MIAMI -- Jordan Pacheco and the Colorado Rockies finally broke out the bats. Pacheco had three hits and drove in a run for the Rockies, who beat the Miami Marlins 6-5 on Wednesday night. Charlie Blackmon and Michael Cuddyer each had two hits for Colorado as all eight position players in the starting lineup recorded at least one hit. "I think we were saving them," Pacheco said of the hits. "We faced two tough guys (Jose Fernandez and Nathan Eovaldi) at the beginning of the series and its bound to happen with this lineup. We have a bunch of guys who can hit." Rockies two-time All-Star outfielder Carlos Gonzalez left the game in the bottom of the sixth inning as a precaution due to dizziness, which began during the game without a particular incident. "Hes OK, he wasnt feeling too good and was a little dizzy," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. "I think hes fine, but he wasnt feeling too good." Giancarlo Stanton homered and drove in two three for the Marlins, who trailed 6-1 in the sixth. "Thats the difference from last year," Stanton said. "That happened frequently, a sense of looking to tomorrow, we already lost. Its good to keep going every game to the last out." The Marlins trailed 6-4 in the bottom of the ninth with LaTroy Hawkins on the mound. Hawkins allowed a leadoff single to Adeiny Hechavarria and walked Derek Dietrich with two outs bringing Stanton to the plate. "You never want to see him walking to the plate to win the game, hes a dangerous hitter, its well-documented," Weiss said. "It was very uncomfortable with Stanton at the plate." Stanton nearly ended the game when he hit a long foul ball down the left field line, which would have won the game if it had stayed fair. "(The pitch) was in so I wasnt worried that it was going to be fair," Pacheco said. "Ive heard that sound before, I heard it a couple innings prior to that, but it worked out for us." Stanton said: "I should have got it a little deeper. It landed a lot further (foul) than when it went past the pole. It was pretty close." Two pitches later Stanton delivered an RBI single on a full-count pitch scoring Hechavarria and pulling Miami within a run. Garrett Jones popped out to third base to end the game with Hawkins eearning the save. Nicolas Batum Jersey. . "Hawk grinded through the inning and got it done," Weiss said. Jordan Lyles (1-0) won his debut with the Rockies after being acquired in an off-season trade with the Houston Astros for Dexter Fowler. Lyles allowed four runs and five hits in five innings while striking out five and walking one. "It was stressful, Hawk got his work in tonight, but our first win maybe we can get it going tomorrow and have a good homestand," Lyles said. "Hopefully were heading in the right direction and put those first two games behind us." Colorado led 6-1 heading into the sixth inning before Stanton cut the deficit to 6-3 with a two-run home run to right field off Lyles. "Everyone knows not to go away, I wanted to show him away one time and I shouldnt have," Lyles said. "Hes a strong guy." Reliever Adam Ottovinos wild pitch brought Miami 6-4 later in the sixth. Henderson Alvarez (0-1) pitched a no-hitter on the final day of the 2013 season against the Detroit Tigers, but struggled in his 2014 debut. Alvarez allowed five consecutive hits in the first inning including a RBI double by Gonzalez and run-scoring singles by Justin Morneau and Pacheco giving the Rockies a 3-0 lead. The Rockies stretched their lead to 6-1 in the fourth sparked by two errors and a wild pitch by Alvarez, which scored a run. Kevin Slowey relieved Alvarez and immediately walked in a run. Cuddyer also drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. "We gave them some extra outs and that probably was the difference in the game," Marlins manager Mike Redmond said. Alvarez allowed six runs -- three earned -- and seven hits in three innings. "What got me in trouble was leaving the ball up," Alvarez said. Slowey struck out five in four scoreless innings. NOTES: Gold Glove Award winner Nolan Arenado flashed his ability at third base in the fifth inning when he barehanded a slow-roller and threw out Hechavarria at first base. . Miamis first replay challenge of the season was upheld when Redmond question a play at second base in the top of the fourth. . Marlins 3B Ed Lucas had left hand surgery on Wednesday and is expected to be out four to six weeks. . Henderson (20-3) received winning scores of 48-47 and 49-46, and the other judge scored it 48-47 for Thomson (20-6). The announcement drew boos from the United Center crowd. "Train this hard for this long, its such a long camp and I see my title shot disappear," said Thomson, who fought most of the fight with a broken right hand. Paul Millsap Hawks Jersey . Jefferson has averaged 14.5 points, 4.Melbourne, Australia (SportsNetwork.com) - Novak Djokovic captured a mens Open Era-record fifth Australian Open title on Sunday by defeating rival Andy Murray in the final in Melbourne. The world No. 1 great secured his fourth Aussie title in five years by handling the sixth-seeded Murray 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (4-7), 6-3, 6-0 in 3 hours, 39 minutes at Rod Laver Arena. This was the first time that a mens Aussie final ended with a love set. It marked Djokovics eighth career Grand Slam title in 15 major finals. Hes also the reigning Wimbledon champ. Djokovic joined Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl and Andre Agassi an eight-time major champ in the Open Era. The great Djokovic also joined Stefan Edberg and Roger Federer as the only men in the Open Era to play in five finals at the Aussie Open. He has won all five of his finals here, including three now against Andy Murray, who also gave way to the Serb in the 2011 and 2013 finals, as well as a semi here in 2012. Djokovic and Murray are the only pair in the Open Era to contest three Aussie Open title tilts. Djokovic snuck out the ultra-tight 72-minute opening set via tiebreak before Murray returned the favor in a grueling 80-minute second. Both stanzas featured fierce ball striking and lengthy, physical rallies. But the match would take a turn for Djokovic in the third set. After trailing 0-2, he broke Murray to even the third at 2-all, consolidated the break with a hold, and then simply managed to cruise from there. The Serbian stalwart won 12 of the final 13 games, including nine in a row to seal the deal in Melbourne. The match came to a close when a weary Murray netted one final backhand. Djokovic broke Murray a whopping nine times, while the British star settled for five breaks in a losing effort. Murray only managed to win 14 of his 41 second-serve points for a paltry 34 percent. The mighty Djokovic is now 12-0 versus Murray after winning the first set of their encounters. Firstly, I want to return the favor to congratulate Andy for a great tournament. Bad luck tonight, Djokovic said. But most importantly I want to congratulate you and Kim [Seears] on your engagement. Dennis Schroder Hawks Jersey. I wish you a wonderful wedding and lots of kids. To my team, who are with me through good and bad times. They tolerate a lot from me both on and off the court. They sacrifice a lot, added the Serb. Capturing his first Grand Slam title since becoming a father, Djokovic said: Its slightly different thinking for me now since I became a father and a husband. A protester was stopped on court by security during the second set, causing a brief delay in play. Tournament organizers said two people were arrested by police. Security responded immediately. Both were quickly removed with minimal disruption to play, tournament organizers said. Security guards caught one court invader, who was wearing a white shirt with the message Australia Open for Refugees, near the baseline during a changeover after the seventh game of the second set. The players were surrounded by security staff while stadium officials rushed into action. A group of other people who had unfurled a large banner with the same message was escorted out of Laver Arena. Djokovic improved to 16-8 lifetime against his fellow 27-year-old Murray, including 5-2 at Grand Slam events, and the Serb is now 3-2 in their career Grand Slam finals. Djokovic is also now 5-2 versus Murray in best-of-five-set matches. Murray had been 5-4 against Djokovic in their overall career finals matchups prior to Sunday. Murray said the Aussie has been the most consistent major of my career, but I just havent been able to win it. Ill try and come back next year and have a different outcome in the final, he added. Djokovic improved to 49-22 in his overall career finals, while Murray dropped to 31-15, including 2-6 at the majors. Djokovic now owns 50 career match wins at the Aussie, where only Federer (75-12) and Edberg (56-10) have secured more victories at this hardcourt major in the Open Era. The amazing Djokovic has won his last 10 matches against fellow Top-10 players. Djokovic claimed a first-place check worth just over $2.4 million, while Murray settled for $1.2 million as the bridesmaid. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

For eight-and-a-half innings, everything pointed to the Winnipeg Goldeyes winning for the first time at Newman Outdoor Field in the regular season since 2012. Robin Yount Brewers Jersey . In the bottom of the ninth, that all changed. The Goldeyes blew a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the ninth and watched the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks walk-off with a 4-3 win before 3,798 fans Friday night at Newman Outdoor Field. The loss halts Winnipegs four-game winning streak and extends their regular season losing streak at Newman Outdoor Field to seven games. Winnipeg struck for the first run of the game in the top of the first inning. With two out, Ray Sadler landed on second base after a throwing error by Fargo third baseman Ronnie Bourquin on a ground ball. Luis Alen then looped a broken-bat base hit over RedHawks shortstop Zach Penprase to score Sadler. The Goldeyes increased their lead to 3-0 in the eighth inning. With one out, Tyler Kuhns slow grounder was thrown down the first base line by Fargo starting pitcher Taylor Stanton, which allowed Kuhn to scamper all the way to third base. Jake Blackwood followed that will a seeing-eye single to easily score Kuhn. After Blackwood reached second on a groundout by Sadler, Alen singled Blackwood in. Brendan Lafferty relieved Goldeyes starter Kyle Anderson for the bottom of the eighth and the RedHawks broke the shutout after Lafferty threw a wild pitch with Fargo catcher Petey Paramore on third base. After the Goldeyes left the bases loaded in the top of the ninth, Lafferty gave up three consecutive hits, including a game-tying two-RBI double to Sawyer Carroll. Kyle Bellamy then came in hoping to get the game to extra innings, but surrendered a single to C.J. Retherford to end the game. Lost in the defeat was another spectacular outing from Anderson, who pitched seven scoreless innings and gave Winnipeg every opportunity to win the game. He lowered his ERA to a league-best 0.91. Lafferty suffered the loss, while Wes Roemer picked up the win in his RedHawks debut. The two teams will meet again Saturday night. The Goldeyes will start Matt Jackson against Fargos Jake Laber. Peyton Manning couldnt cap the greatest season any NFL quarterback ever had or secure his legacy as the best QB in history because his Denver Broncos came down with a case of the yips Sunday night. They lost to Seattle in the Super Bowl 43-8 by falling behind right from the start and never recovering. The bumbling Broncos trailed before Manning ever got his hands on the ball because Manny Ramirezs bad snap went for a safety 12 seconds into the game. "It was a crazy start," Manning said, "not the way you expect to start the game." It only got worse for the leagues most prolific point producers who scored 606 of em in the regular season, then dominated the AFC in the playoffs but mustered only Demaryius Thomas 14-yard touchdown catch on the final play of the third quarter at MetLife Stadium. "We couldnt get it to swing, man," left tackle Chris Clark said. "We tried, but they just played better than we did today. It didnt shift. We didnt play Broncos football today. When you got a good thing going, you want to finish it off and we didnt do that today." Dominated in every way, the Broncos (15-4) trudged through the tunnel trailing 22-0 at halftime, then watched Percy Harvin return the second-half kickoff for a TD. "Youve got to play well in this game to win it," said Broncos boss John Elway, who lost Super Bowls by scores of 39-20, 42-10 and 55-10 during his Hall of Fame playing career before winning his last two. Elway returned to rescue his beloved Broncos in 2011 after the franchise foundered and his biggest coup was luring Manning to Denver. Over his two seasons in Colorado, Manning engineered the greatest comeback in NFL history: recovering from neck fusion surgery that weakened his throwing arm to win his fifth MVP award this season when he set records by throwing for 55 TDs and 5,447 yards. But he couldnt match that with the greatest comeeback in Super Bowl history after falling behind 36-0. Milwaukee Brewers Travis Shaw Jersey. "I will tell you this: its hard to get things turned around against a great defence like that," Elway said. "They are a great defence. So, thats why you cant afford to lose the momentum because to try to flip it on a great defence is always hard." This was easily Mannings worst day since trading the blue and white horseshoe of the Indianapolis Colts for the orange-mane mustang of Denver. He was sacked for the first time in the playoffs, threw two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, lost a fumble and turned it over on downs. The bumbling Broncos finally found the end zone when Thomas made a leaping, twisting grab of Mannings 14-yard pass -- his 100th TD toss for Denver. But he needed a lot more of those to keep up with the efficient Russell Wilson, who didnt commit any turnovers and kept plays alive with his legs and pinpoint passes. "They outplayed us in every facet," tight end Jacob Tamme said. Thomas caught 13 passes for 118 yards but he also had a fumble as Denver was driving in the third quarter. Denver was missing five defensive starters who are on IR that might have made this a fairer fight -- Von Miller, Rahim Moore, Kevin Vickerson, Derek Wolfe and Chris Harris Jr. "We just didnt play like were capable of," Elway said. "Its disappointing. But we had a great year. And hopefully well learn from this. But it started tough and we just couldnt seem to get it going. "Its one of those nights. We had a tremendous year and well hopefully learn from this and were going to go at it again next year." Terrance Knighton, who helped hold Marshawn Lynch to 2.6 yards a carry, was already looking forward to that. "Itll be the 2014 season before you know it," he said. "Itll sting for a little bit tonight and maybe for a few more days but well have to bounce back." Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

EAST RUTHERFORD, N. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Cameron Maybin Jersey .J. - For a team that wasnt in the playoff hunt for most of the season and has missed the post-season the past three years, the New York Giants are heading into the off-season with a lot of optimism. It didnt make a difference that they posted a 6-10 record, had a seven-game losing streak that made the final month meaningless and had one of the NFLs worst defences. The great equalizer is Odell Beckham Jr. The rookie wide receiver embarrassed opposing defences, created an Internet frenzy with a one-handed catch, re-wrote some franchise records and tied Hall of Famer Michael Irvins NFL record with nine consecutive games of 90 yards receiving.Even more impressive: Beckham did it after missing most of training camp and the first four games of the regular season with a hamstring injury. He is the best rookie I have ever seen, hands down, 35-year-old placekicker Josh Brown said Monday as the Giants cleaned out their lockers. I have never seen somebody as athletic, who does it with such ease.Beckham has all the tools — speed, great hands, leaping ability, a keen mind and an enthusiasm for the game that sometimes gets the best of him.His 63-yard touchdown catch and run in the season-ending 34-26 loss to the Eagles on Sunday included a showboating back-pedal into the end zone and a fastball spike against a nearby wall after scoring his 12th TD of the season, which tied the Giants record for rookies.Hes a very passionate player. Thats just him. He makes plays. Hes very confident, said Eagles cornerback Jaylen Watkins, who played against Beckham in college. Hes thinking hes making the play every time it comes his way. Hes got a great quarterback and theyre on the same page. Hes fast. Hes all in one.Beckham had a lifetimes worth of highlight-reel moments this season and his final statistics were eye-popping. He had team highs of 91 catches for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games. The growth that he made this season is pretty remarkable, and the impact he had on this offence was a great tribute to him and his work ethic, said Manning, who had 30 touchdowns, 14 interceptions and 4,410 yards in the new West Coast offence. It will be nice to have him for a full year in the mix and knowing that he can make some big plays for us.Beckham admits he has to pick his fights next season, noting he put a target on his own back too many times. The experience has been fun. There is still so much I can look back on and I wish I couldve done that and I wish I couldve done this, Beckham said. It was great to get here and be able to learn and experience things, to get a year of experience underneath my belt and I am looking forward to next year with a smile. The Giants offence finished 10th in the league with a mediocre running game. Rookie Andre Williams led the team with 721 yards, but he did a lot of on the job training after Rashad Jennings was hurt.Rueben Randle had two phenomenal weeks to finish the season, Larry Donnell was a pleasant surprise in his first season as the starting tight end and receiving group will be even better if Victor Cruz comes back from his second knee injury. The future here is just unbelievable, fullback Henry Hynoski said. You just saw flashes of it this year with the playmakers weve got. Its going to be an exciting team to watch in the coming years. What has to improve is the defence. There were just too many big plays by opposing teams and the run defence was ranked No. 30.While it appears coach Tom Coughlin will survive the bad season, defensive co-ordinator Perry Fewell is on the hot seat despite having seven contributing members of his unit go on injured reserve. Overall, the Giants had 22 players on injured reserve. You just cant win that way, said middle linebacker Jon Beason, who ended up on injured reserve. Were not making excuses. Next man up for sure. But you just cant win that way.Cornerback Walter Thurmond III lasted less than two games before tearing a pectoral muscle. We just need to have that time just to gel, he said. There are so many guys who are vital parts that end up getting injured. So we never really got out there full strength.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and http://twitter.com/AP_NFL Yunel Escobar Angels Jersey . The shortstop still grieves, but it will be nights like the one Segura had in a 5-2 victory Monday over the Cincinnati Reds that will provide some distraction. Albert Pujols Angels Jersey . Here at TSN.ca we will take a look back at the season by bringing together a panel of experts to help pick the best 50 players of the season.MINNEAPOLIS - Kevin Martins 37-point effort against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night just got even more impressive.Martin played the final three and a half quarters of that game with a fractured wrist on his shooting hand, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced Friday hours before hosting San Antonio. He is out indefinitely.Martin injured his right wrist with 6:48 to play in the first quarter when he was fouled while shooting a 3-pointer. From that point on, Martin went on to score 34 points and make 6 of 9 3s in the 115-99 victory that snapped a five-game losing streak.Weve just got to come out and play with the guys we have, coach Flip Saunders said before the Wolves hosted the Spurs. It gives guys opportunities and weve just got to try to keep on improving individually and weve got to try to keep on improving as a team.Martin was actually a game-time decision that night after needing IV fluids while battling an illness for most of the day. He made no mention of the injury in his postgame remarks to the media.I realize the situation and after the guys worked so hard after the horrible road trip we had, Martin said after the game. Coach challenged us in practice. There was never a thought to not playing. You have to get out there with your teammates and show them that youre dedicated to being here. Its yet another crushing blow for a seemingly snake-bitten ffranchise that has not made the playoffs in 10 years and is rebuilding after trading All-Star Kevin Love this summer. Kole Calhoun Jersey. .The Wolves are already playing without starting point guard Ricky Rubio, who is out indefinitely with a sprained left ankle, starting centre Nikola Pekovic, who will miss at least the next two games with a sprained right wrist and starting power forward Thaddeus Young, who is mourning the sudden passing of his mother. On a team starving for offence, Martin was the best thing the Wolves had going. He scored 34 in a defeat in Dallas that ended a six-game road trip and then got the Wolves off to a great start against the Knicks with 13 points in the first quarter.Martin is averaging 20.4 points and shooting 48.1 per cent on 3-pointers this season. The Wolves have not yet determined if Martin will need surgery to address the injury. Veteran Corey Brewer and youngster Shabazz Muhammad figure to get the bulk of the minutes in Martins place. The Wolves had just 10 healthy players for the game against the Spurs. Pekovic will be evaluated again early next week. If its deemed that he will be out at least another 10 days, Saunders said the Wolves could be granted a roster exception and add another player without having to move someone from their 15-player roster.___Follow Jon Krawczynski on Twitter: http://twitter.com/APKrawczynski Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys ChinaCheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

DETROIT -- Torii Hunter and the Detroit Tigers are baseballs only undefeated team. Baltimore Orioles Hats . The only team that can still make goofy statements like this. "Hopefully we go 162-0," the always-upbeat Hunter said. "It would be awesome." Hunter homered and drove in five runs, and the Tigers withstood a five-run ninth inning by Baltimore to beat the Orioles 7-6 on Saturday. Joe Nathan got the final two outs for his first save with Detroit, retiring Chris Davis on a flyout with two on to end it. Hunter hit a three-run double in the third, then added a two-run drive in the fifth for his second homer of the year. The Tigers have 17 runs and 30 hits in their past two games. "I like this ballclub," Hunter said. "You talk about a very athletic team, doesnt strike out much at all, and will make good contact. Weve got some guys that have professional at-bats." Rick Porcello (1-0) allowed a run and three hits in 6 2-3 innings in his first start of the season, but the Tigers (4-0) had to hold on when the Orioles nearly pulled off a remarkable comeback. Detroit led 7-1 entering the ninth, but Phil Coke and Al Alburquerque couldnt close out the Orioles. Nathan came on with two on, one out and the score 7-3. Steve Lombardozzi singled to deep right to load the bases, and pinch-hitter Steve Clevengers double made it 7-5. David Lough brought home another run with a grounder to shortstop Alex Gonzalez, who threw wide of first for an error. With men on first and second, Nathan struck out Nelson Cruz and got Davis to hit a lazy fly to left. "The momentums obviously swinging their way," said Nathan, who signed with the Tigers in the off-season as a free agent. "Sometimes the hardest thing to do in those situations is stop the bleeding." Bud Norris (0-1) allowed five runs and nine hits in five innings, and the Orioles lost their fourth straight. Detroits Brad Ausmus became the first manager in more than a decade to begin his career with four straight wins, according to STATS. Clint Hurdle of Colorado and Jerry Royster of Milwaukee both did it in 2002. Ausmus took over for Jim Leyland after last season. The 25-year-old Porcello already has five full seasons under his belt. If he blossoms into a true standout, Detroits already-excellent rotation will look even tougher. Porcello struck out only three with two walks, but he didnt allow a hit after the second inning. Only one of the final 17 batters he faced reached base. Davis opened the scoring in the first with an RBI single for Baltimore, but he was thrown out trying to take second. The Tigers took the lead in the third when Hunters line drive to the corner in left field cleared the bases. His homer in the fifth made it 5-1. In the sixth, Don Kelly hit an RBI triple and scored on Rajai Davis sacrifice fly. Adam Jones hit an RBI triple off Coke in the ninth for the Orioles, and he scored on Nick Markakis groundout to make it 7-3. "I knew we were going to make a run, but it was a little too late," Baltimore manager Buck Showalter said. "Weve got the first part of games down, and were doing well at the ends of games, but weve got to figure out how to hold our own in the middle. The starters have to get us deeper into games." The Tigers have hit six homers in their first four games, an encouraging sign after they traded cleanup hitter Prince Fielder in the off-season. Kelly had three hits Saturday, while Hunter, Davis, Ian Kinsler and Austin Jackson added two apiece. The bottom three hitters for Detroit -- Gonzalez, Kelly and Davis -- combined to go 6 for 10 with two RBIs and five runs scored. NOTES: The temperature at game time was 41 degrees. ... When he left a few seconds later, two members of Will Powers crew were sprawled on the asphalt, a tire bouncing wildly in his wake. Although everybody involved had a strong opinion about what happened, Power knows one thing for certain: Hes leaving wine country with yet another trophy. Power won at Sonoma Raceway for the third time in four years Sunday, earning his first victory of the IndyCar season by taking advantage of Dixons penalty for making contact with Powers Team Penske pit crew. "I dont like to see the call that had to take place, but everybody saw it," Roger Penske said. "Its unfortunate, but thats the way racing is." Dixon led until he received a drive-through penalty with 15 laps to go for clipping a tire in the left hand of Powers tire holder when Dixons Honda left his pit directly behind Powers Chevrolet. The tire holder went flying into another crew member, and a third member was injured by an air gun or hose. Dixon thought Powers crew got in his way on purpose, leaving him angry and confused by IndyCars latest call against him. He finished 15th and lost a bit of ground on overall IndyCar leader Helio Castroneves, Powers Penske teammate, who finished seventh. Castroneves lead over Dixon grew from 31 to 39 points (479-440) with four races left in the IndyCar season. "Thats probably the most blatant thing Ive seen in a long time," Dixon said. "You watch most pit guys, they try to get out of the way of other people, so that was a bit of a (classless) move, to be honest. ... If thats the way they want to try and win, thats pretty bad." James Hinchcliffe of Oakville, Ont., finished eighth. Power scoffed at the notion any gamesmanship occurred in his first victory since early last season in Sao Paulo. Hes the only multiple IndyCar winner in Sonoma, where hes been dominant since he broke his back in a crash in 2009. "It reminds me of so many things thats happened to us in the last three years, so well take it," said Power, the 10th IndyCar winner this season. "I would be very surprised (if it was intentional). I havent seen it. Its not even worth commenting on. ... I really thought wed win before (now), but we just kept at it and worked hard and were fast all weekend." Dixon has been burned by IndyCars curious penalty decisions before. In Milwaukee last year, IndyCar acknowledged it looked at the wrong replay and madde an incorrect call when it ordered Dixon to serve a drive-through penalty for jumping a restart. Brooks Robinson Jersey. But race director Beaux Barfield stood behind his latest call against Dixon, saying the lines painted in the pit box dont correspond to the actual spaces afforded to the teams. IndyCar rules mandate penalties for drivers who make contact with pit crew members. "If we have somebody that uses less-than-great judgment when they leave their pit box, and we have an incident, then certainly weve got to make a statement by penalizing (that driver)," Barfield said. "The lines are a little bit confusing, because we dont go in and change the lines everywhere we go. "Theres a different angle, if you looked at, you can see the difference between the Target and the Verizon signs on the wall. With the No. 9 car (Dixon) leaving the pit lane, he clearly crosses right into the pit box into the No. 12 car (Power) space, and thats where the violation occurred." Dixons team saw it differently. "The guy turned his back and carried the tire into Dixons side," Chip Ganassi Racing team manager Mike Hull said. "He walked into us, so if that sets the precedent, in the next race, that means somebody can walk into us with a tire in their hand." All three crew members were fine to continue after a bit of ice. Dixons penalty dropped him 19 seconds behind Power into 21st, and Power carefully maintained his lead for a victory on the same course where he was seriously injured four years ago, forcing him to miss the rest of the season. "I think theyre way overplaying this thing, as far as Im concerned," Penske said. "Someone got hit, went up in the air. Obviously, the 9 car was too close to our crew, had an accident there. The outcome is obvious." Dixons brush with Powers crew highlighted an uncommonly eventful race in Sonoma, a twisty road course that usually doesnt allow much drama or passing. Penske got into a finger-pointing argument post-race with Marco Andretti, who made contact with Power late in the race. Third-place finisher Dario Franchitti was mad at Team Penske, feeling Power drove him off the track with no penalty. Justin Wilson was second. Castroneves finished behind Marco Andretti, Simon Pagenaud and Ryan Hunter-Reay. With strong wind and dust all over the course, the race featured a record seven cautions for various collisions and stalls. Sebastian Saavedra crashed heavily into a barrier with four laps to go. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
