MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings have finalized their assistants under new coach Mike Zimmer, including special teams co-ordinator Mike Priefer, the target of a discrimination complaint by one of his former players. Evgeni Malkin Penguins Jersey . The Vikings announced Thursday that Priefer will be one of seven holdovers from the previous staff, along with offensive line coach Jeff Davidson, wide receivers coach George Stewart and others. Norv Turner will mark his 30th year of coaching in the NFL as the offensive co-ordinator, as widely reported for weeks, and George Edwards will be the defensive co-ordinator. Former Vikings punter Chris Kluwe has alleged that Priefer made anti-gay comments around the team and claimed he was released last year because of his outspoken support of gay marriage. The Vikings launched an independent investigation. Marc-Andre Fleury Penguins Jersey Authentic .com) - SirDominic Pointer posted career highs of 24 points and seven steals to lead No. Larry Murphy Penguins Jersey .com) - A chant of Zeke reverberated around AT&T Stadium before Ezekiel Elliott powered into the end zone for his fourth and final touchdown.NICE, France -- Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann staked his claim for a World Cup starting spot with his first international goal for France, only for midfielder Victor Caceres to do likewise and earn Paraguay a 1-1 draw with an 89th-minute header Sunday in Les Bleus penultimate warm-up game before heading to Brazil. Griezmann has impressed since recently breaking into the team and the substitute put the hosts ahead in the 82nd minute with an assured finish, curling the ball into the right corner after collecting it on the left side of the penalty area. France had the majority of possession but Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud missed several chances and failed to add to his international tally after scoring twice against Norway in a 4-0 win on Tuesday night. "Were not going to win all of our games 4-0," Deschamps said. "We made the breakthrough after creating a lot of chances against a team defending deep in numbers. We dropped too deep and they equalized." Deschamps rested striker Karim Benzema and winger Franck Ribery, who has a back injury. French media have reported that he could be doubtful for the World Cup. "We will do everything we can for him to be ready for the Jamaica game next Sunday," Deschamps said, referring to Frances last friendly before going to Brazil. Deschamps made three changes from the NNorway game, with Loic Remy replacing Griezmann on the left wing, Bacary Sagna taking Mathieu Debuchys slot at right back and Hugo Lloris returning in goal. Conor Sheary Penguins Jersey Authentic. Remy had Frances first chance, side-footing wide after Mathieu Valbuena had played him in down the left side of the penalty area. Giroud had the next chance, using his body well to shield the ball, before spinning and hitting a low shot that was blocked. Lloris was called into action midway through the first half when he gathered a low shot from veteran striker Roque Santa Cruz. France hit back moments later and midfielder Paul Pogba drilled a shot just wide, and then Giroud held the ball up down the right before floating a cross over to Remy, whose scissor-kick volley flew wide. Remy and Giroud combined well throughout the match, and Giroud headed wide from Remys cross at the start of the second half. Giroud then crossed from the right only for Valbuena to nod the ball wide. Valbuena had set up Giroud for a headed goal against Norway, and almost did so again only for goalkeeper Anthony Silva to tip the forwards looping header over the crossbar. From Valbuenas corner, Silva saved yet another Giroud header. After Caceres scored with his first goal in 55 appearances for Paraguay, Giroud almost netted the winner right at the end as his astute chip went just over. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

CARSON, Calif. Tyrone Mears Jersey . -- Erick Torres scored his seventh goal of the season to lead Chivas USA to a 1-0 victory over DC United on Sunday night. Chivas win was its second in four games, matching the clubs total from its previous 20 matches. After a scramble in front of the goal in the 51st minute, Edgar Mejia sent a cross into the middle of a congested penalty area. The ball deflected off two United players and fell to Torres, who fired a shot past goalie Bill Hamid. Torres goal was his fifth in the last four games and he leads Chivas (6-15-7) in goals despite playing just nine games. Chris Pontius played the final 25 minutes for United (3-19-5) in his first appearance since July 7. Pontius, who led DC in goals last season, missed seven games due to a hamstring injury. Blank Seattle Sounders Jersey . The Panthers boast a strong argument. UNI was knocked out in a revenge game on the road at Illinois State. The winning Redbirds then went on to beat the No. 4 (Eastern Washington) and No. 1 (New Hampshire) seeds on the road. What made the UNI-Illinois State matchup a revenge game is that UNI is the only team this season to beat both FCS national finalists - Illinois State and North Dakota State. Both one-loss teams will meet for the national title on Jan. 10 in Frisco, Texas. It puts us in the top echelon that theyre going to be 1 and 2, we should be very close to being in that 3 to 5 category as far as ranking at the end of the season, Farley said. They did a great job, but I think it says a lot for our program, it says a lot for playing against us in the UNI-Dome. It kind of shows the quality of our team and it also shows the quality of our league. North Dakota State (14-1), the three-time defending national champion, and Illinois State (13-1), a first-time finalist, didnt face each other while they both went 7-1 in Missouri Valley games and tied for the conference title. Its a conference that dominated the FCS ranks this season, matching the single- season record with five playoff teams. That list included the UNI team that surged into the playoffs by winning its final five games in the regular season. The Panthers struggled offensively in their 42-28 win over Illinois State on Nov. 1, but benefited from touchdowns on a blocked punt return, a kickoff return and an interception return. A week later in Cedar Falls, UNI ended North Dakota States FCS-record 33-game winning streak with a thorough, 23-3 rout. After his team blew out Stephen F. Austin in the first round of the playoffs, Farley thought his team could potentially reach the national final if it could beat Illinois State in the second round. But the host Redbirds dominated UNI in the first half en route to a 41-21 victory, which ended the Panthers season at 9-5. Farley expects the FCS championship game to be just another typical Saturday afternoon in the Missouri Valley Conference. In the 37th season of the national playoffs, this will mark the first championship meeting between two teams from the same conference. I expect it will be a well-contested, great football game, Farley said. Its really two similar teams, but two very different teams, to try to beat in a game like this. North Dakota State is going to wear you down with the power game inside and (John) Crockett running the football and their quarterback (Carson Wentz) really does a good job of making decisions. On third down is really when the quarterback really steps up. But with Illinois State, every down could be an explosive play. In the regular-season win over Illinois State, UNI contained Redbirds quarterback Tre Roberson while All-America running back Marshaun Coprich ran for 166 yards and three touchdowns. That 1-2 offensive punch then delivered the knockout blow to UNI in the playoffs, with Roberson throwing for four touchdowns and gaining 419 yards of total offense. Roberson wears a Superman T-shirt under his shoulder pads to remind himself to play like The Man of Steel. What Id say about Illinois State is their quarterback is exceptional. He makes it all work at Illinois State, Farley said. The running back is great and theyve got a big offensive line and theyve got a couple of real tall receivers, bbut the quarterback is really the trigger. Erik Friberg Seattle Sounders Jersey. His ability to run, his ability to make a bad play into a great play, he has those capabilities. Thats what makes them as dangerous as they are, it makes them the caliber of team they are right now. What Farley particularly likes about Illinois States defense is its ability to run down ball carriers. Big defensive end Teddy Corwin and middle linebacker Pat Meehan earned All-Missouri Valley first-team honors, but Farley says the talent runs deep on a defense that jelled throughout the season. Really athletic, Farley said. You look at the transfer from Ohio State (defensive end David Perkins), he really creates a pass rushing problem, hes got great ability, No. 4. They have the transfer from Oregon (linebacker Oshay Dunmore). Theyre just getting better each game because the more theyre there and playing together, the better they get. And I think the guy that we thought was kind of the guy that made things go for them, (and) they have two really good safeties, hes No. 3 (Dontae McCoy). He really does a nice job, he plays fast, he plays tough, to me hes the quarterback of their defense. And their other safety, No. 1 (Tevin Allen), is really quick as well. As for North Dakota State, UNI stunned the Bison this season by stealing their patented game plan - a strong run game and suffocating defense. The Bison have won 15 straight postseason games and will have invaluable championship game experience over Illinois State. North Dakota State, theyre more of a physical football team, Farley said. When you play them, they wear you down, theyre going to be a team that more or less is going to come directly at you, versus Illinois State, theyre more of a spread-you-out-type of team. You look at (NDSU), I think Crockett is a great running back, and they give him the ball enough times that hes going to find a crack in the seam and you really have to keep him within his element. Every time he touches the ball, hes got a chance a chance for scoring - thats the concern when you play North Dakota State. The Bison defense is even more experienced than their offense and features defensive end Kyle Emanuel, the 2014 Buck Buchanan Award recipient as the national defensive player of the year. Like Emanuel, linebacker Carlton Littlejohn and strong safety Colten Heagle will start in the national final for the third time, while free safety Christian Dudzik will achieve it for the fourth time. Starting linebacker Esley Thornton and cornerback C.J. Smith also started in last years final. They play very hard - thats the way I can describe it in my terms, Farley said of a defense that is ranked second in the FCS in scoring defense (13.2 ppg) and third in total defense (270.8 ypg). And thats why theyre so consistent. North Dakota State has won the last three meetings against Illinois State, most recently 28-10 in 2013. Both programs are so familiar with each other, but Farley doesnt believe that will stop them from trying to play to their strengths. When you know each other through playing, through repetition, you have an idea what their philosophy is, he said. And youve played them before, so you have an idea what their talent is - how youve played them before. And then when you get in the game planning part of it, I think the key is not to outcoach yourself. Those players are making plays for you right now, so you want to do what you do well and let the players make the difference in the game and not so much try to out-scheme yourself and not try to outsmart the other guy. Both teams will play to their strength. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys ChinaCheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Danny Koevermans has officially retired. Jason Zucker Wild Jersey . The former Toronto FC designated player played three of his 15 professional seasons with the team. He scored 17 goals in 30 games in Toronto. Koevermans, 35, played for Sparta Rotterdam, AZ, and PSV in his native Netherlands before coming to Toronto, and finished his career with FC Utrecht. Daniel Ochefu added 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting for the Wildcats (18-2, 7-1 Big East), who forced 18 turnovers while committing 16. Villanova made 22 of 28 free throws and moved into a tie with first-place Creighton atop the Big East. Markel Starks scored 20 points for the short-handed Hoyas (11-9, 3-6), whose roster underwent two more changes before the game. Georgetown has its longest losing streak since 2011 and has dropped three straight at home for the first time since 2009. The game included 34 turnovers, 41 field goals and 39 fouls. At least it was competitive: The biggest lead was eight points -- and thats only because Georgetown scored the first eight points of the game. After topping off at No. 4 in the Top 25, Villanova has had all it can handle in its last three games. No opponent shot 50 per cent or better against the Wildcats in their first 17 games, but they allowed Creighton to shoot 57 per cent in a loss and Marquette to hit 50 per cent in an overtime win. Georgetown was at 55 per cent at halftime, but the Hoyas went cold late and finished at 44 per cent. Georgetown fell short again on a day of more ups and downs with player moves. Jabril Trawick returned after missing five games with a broken jaw and played 12 minutes. The Hoyas learned shortly before tipoff that senior centre Moses Ayegba had to sit out due to a one-game NCAA suspension. Jared Spurgeon Jersey. Ayegbas suspension looked like a bureaucratic mess, even by NCAA standards. It was related to the nine-game suspension he received as a freshman for violating pre-enrolment rules, an infraction that the Hoyas have said was connected to a plane ticket that brought him from Nigeria to the United States years ago -- before Georgetown even started recruiting him. The Hoyas are playing without centre Joshua Smith, who was recently ruled out for the rest of the season due to academic issues. Bradley Hayes, who had played 13 minutes all season, got some crucial playing time in both halves. Villanova led 35-30 at halftime. The Hoyas game-opening 8-0 run was answered immediately by a 9-0 spurt by the Wildcats. Consecutive three-pointers by Villanovas Ryan Arcidiacono created the closest thing to momentum over the first 20 minutes. Starks drove baseline to tie the game at 35, and he gave the Hoyas their first lead of the second half, 41-39, with two free throws with 14:42 to play. From there, it was back-and-forth. Georgetowns Aaron Bowen saluted the crowd after a three-pointer that tied the game at 46, while Ochefu stretched every bit of his frame to make a layup that gave the Wildcats a 61-56 lead. Starks floater cut the deficit to 61-58 with 2:08 to play, but he was called for an offensive foul after making a pass under the basket with 35 seconds remaining. Villanova then made a series of free throws to hold on for the win. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork. Simone Zaza Jersey .com) - Goaltender Tomas Vokoun, sidelined the entire 2013-14 regular season while recovering from a career-threatening blood clot in his leg, was recalled by the Pittsburgh Penguins from a minor league conditioning assignment on Monday. Vokoun, who replaced an ineffective Marc-Andre Fleury during last years playoffs to help the Penguins reach the Eastern Conference finals, underwent an emergency procedure back in September to dissolve a blood clot in his pelvis. The 37-year-old returned to action with the American Hockey Leagues Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins this past weekend and appeared in two games, posting a 2.41 goals-against average and an .891 save percentage. The veteran Czech will add depth behind Fleury and No. 2 netminder Jeff Zatkoff for Pittsburghs opening-round playoff series against Columbus, which begins Wednesday. In 700 career NHL regular-season games, Vokoun owns a 300-288-78 record with a 2.55 GAA and 51 shutouts. Leonardo Bonucci Jersey . LA (SportsNetwork. Blank Italy Jersey . PHILADELPHIA -- Ryan Howard made the Houston Astros pay for pitching to him. Darcy Kuemper Jersey . Howard singled in the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 15th inning to lift the Philadelphia Phillies to a 2-1 victory over Houston on Tuesday night. The interleague matchup between teams with two of the four worst records in the majors lasted 5 hours, 5 minutes. Hector Neris (1-0) tossed a perfect inning to earn the win in his major league debut. Grady Sizemore led off the inning against Jake Buchanan (1-2) with a hard one-hop single under second baseman Jose Altuves glove. After Ben Revere sacrificed, Jimmy Rollins flied out and Chase Utley was intentionally walked. Howard then ripped a 1-2 pitch to right and Sizemore slid in safely ahead of right fielder Robbie Grossmans throw. "You go up there with a chip on your shoulder," Howard said. "Them walking Chase, I wanted to get it done." It was the fifth game of at least 14 innings for the Phillies this season, tying a franchise-record first set in 1958. Both starters -- Philadelphias Kyle Kendrick and Houstons Dallas Keuchel -- allowed one run in seven innings. Howard led off the bottom of the second with an opposite-field homer that just cleared the wall in left-centre, giving the Phillies a 1-0 lead. The run snapped a 22-inning scoreless streak for Philadelphia, which was shut out in Washington on Saturday and Sunday. Howards homer was his seventh off lefties in 97 at-bats. He has only 10 against right-handers in 308 at-bats. Howard, who faces an extreme shift to right in all of his at-bats, still hasnt pulled a homer. The struggling slugger is batting just .217 and was benched three straight games last month. "You guys forget what Ive done," the former NL MVP said. "People look at right now. Ive hit balls hard over stretches. All you can do is hit balls hard and once it leaves the bat, its out of your hands." Jon Singletons RBI single in the seventh tied it at 1. The Astros had runners at first and third with no out, but couldnt get the go-ahead run. Matt Dominguez flied out to shallow right and Jake Marisnick grounded into a double play. "A really tough game," Astros manager Bo Porter said. "We just couldnt get the offence going." TRAINERS ROOM Astros: Outfielder George Springer, on the disabled list since July 20 with a strained left quad, made his second rehab appearance at Single-A Quad Cities. Springer could be called up before the series ends Thursday. Phillies: Cliff Lee still hasnt had an MRI on his injured left elbow. ... Left fielder Domonic Brown has an infection in his tonsils and wasnt in the lineup for the fourth straight game. ... UP NEXT Astros: Right-hander Brad Peacock (3-7, 4.93) will come up from Triple-A Oklahoma City to start Wednesday night. Hes replacing Jarred Cosart, who was traded to Miami last week. Peacock gave up seven runs in 3 2-3 innings in his last start on July 23, a 9-7 loss at Oakland. Phillies: Righty David Buchanan (5-5, 4.40) will be recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take Lees spot. Buchanan has allowed three earned runs or less in his last six major-league starts STARTING TIME Keuchel (10-7) has allowed just two earned runs in his last three starts, but is only 1-1 in that span. The lefty lowered his ERA to 2.89. Kendrick remained 5-11 after giving up five hits in his first quality start in six outings since July 3. Kendrick lowered his ERA to 4.74. HUNTER PENCE HAUNTS The Phillies acquired Pence, an All-Star outfielder, from the Astros on July 29, 2011 for Singleton, Cosart, outfielder Domingo Santana and right-hander Josh Zeid. They were 50-30 at the time and finished with a club-record 102 wins before losing to St. Louis in the NLDS. Pence was traded the following July to San Francisco for outfielder Nate Schierholtz, pitcher Seth Rosin and catcher Tommy Joseph. Clearly, the Astros and Giants were big winners in both trades with the Phillies. SAVE THAT BALL Santana walked with two outs in the 10th, reaching safely for the first time in his career on his 22nd birthday. He was 0 for 13 with 11 strikeouts before drawing a walk. NASTY STUFF Phillies lefty Antonio Bastardo struck out six of the seven batters he faced in the 11th and 12th innings and the Astros fanned a season-high 17 times. Jason Zucker Wild Jersey . Mike Babcock has turned to the Montreal Canadiens goalie over Roberto Luongo, who backed Canada to a gold medal in Vancouver in 2010, for Canadas final preliminary round game against the ailing Finns. Eric Staal Jersey . -- Miami Dolphins defensive co-ordinator Kevin Coyle defended the management style of coach Joe Philbin in the wake of the teams bullying scandal.CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The bottom of the Cincinnati batting order is putting the Reds on top. Eighth-place hitter Zack Cozart sent a three-run homer off the left-field foul pole and Kristopher Negron added a two-run shot, lifting the Reds over the Cleveland Indians 8-3 Wednesday night. Cozart, now batting .225, drove in four runs with two hits. On Tuesday night, light-hitting Ramon Santiago launched a three-run homer in a 9-2 victory over Cleveland. "We have to pick up some slack," Cozart said. "We cant depend on the big guys every night." Getting off to a lead is a difference maker," Reds manager Bryan Price said. Mat Latos pitched shutout ball into the eighth inning and chipped in with a hit. Latos (4-3), making his 10th start since opening the season on the disabled list and being activated on June 14, allowed just one runner past second base before Yan Gomes led off Clevelands three-run eighth with his 16th homer. Ryan Raburn chased Latos with a pinch-hit, two-run double. Latos gave up six hits and three runs with two walks and five strikeouts in 7 2-3 innings. Cozart, who hadnt homered since June 1 at Arizona, connected off Danny Salazar (4-5) with two outs in the second. Cozarts third homer of the season was the first allowed by Salazar in five starts since May 15 at Toronto. "It felt good," Cozart said. "It is not only getting hits but extra-base hits. Our pitchers have been pitching so well. We dont want them to go home empty." Negron made it 5-0 with a two-out drive in the fourth. The homer was his third of the season, all since being called up from Triple-A Louisville on July 10. "These guys want badly to succeed. Its good to see their hard work paying off," Price said. Cozart was excited for Negron, too. "Every time he gets a chance to play, he takes advantage of his playing time," said Cozart of Negron, who was taken off the 40-man roster after he had four at-bats in 2012, his only big league experience until now. Salazar lasted four innings while seeing his personal winning streak snapped at a career-high three. Zach Parise Jersey. He allowed five hits and five runs with five strikeouts. "Overall, he was better than his line score," manager Terry Francona said. "He made two costly mistakes to the bottom of the order." "I didnt throw too many pitches today," Salazar said. "I left a couple of balls a little high. I was trying to throw a slider down-and-away (to Cozart). I just missed my spot." The Reds broke open the game with a three-run seventh that started with Negrons double for his first career three-hit game. Cozart hit an RBI single, Latos followed with a single and Todd Frazier added a two-run double. TRAINERS ROOM Indians: Center fielder Michael Bourn went 0 for 3 with one strikeout in five innings for Double-A Akron in the first game of his rehab assignment on Tuesday. He has been out since July 6 with a left hamstring strain. Reds: Right-handed reliever Logan Ondrusek threw his first long toss and bullpen session since he went on the disabled list on July 22 because of a strained right shoulder. He will throw another bullpen on Friday or Saturday and be reassessed, Price said. UP NEXT Indians: Left-hander T.J. House will become the second straight Cleveland pitcher to face Cincinnati for the first time in his career. The Indians have lost two straight after a four-game winning streak. Reds: Right-hander Homer Bailey will try to even his career record against the Indians at 3-3 in eight starts in Thursdays series finale. The Reds have won seven straight over Cleveland in Cincinnati since a 3-1 loss on July 2, 2011. STAR TURN The Reds introduced the 2015 All-Star Game logo to fans and media. A large version is displayed at the top or the right-field bleachers near the Ohio River. ... The team honoured its four All-Star players -- Alfredo Simon, Johnny Cueto, Aroldis Chapman and Frazier. They were presented with commemorative plaques in a pregame ceremony. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? Negron hit his third home run in 15 games since his recall on July 10. WASHINGTON -- A member of Congress is requesting a hearing on the Washington Redskins name, calling it "another example of racial insensitivity in sports" in the wake of Donald Sterlings lifetime ban from the NBA. Alejandro Bedoya USA Jersey . Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., sent a letter Friday to the chairman of the Committee on Energy and Commerce citing the derogatory nature of the word "redskins" and suggesting the committee use its influence to persuade team owner Dan Snyder and the NFL to change the name. Waxman appears unlikely to get the hearing before the committee, which is chaired by Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich., and oversees professional sports. "The committee really hasnt been focused on the names of pro sports teams," committee spokeswoman Charlotte Baker said Friday in an email, "and there are no plans to schedule a hearing on this issue." Waxman pointed that Los Angeles Clippers owner Sterlings recent ban resulted from racist comments made in a private, then added: "In the case of the Washington football team, the offensive conduct is public, not private." "Unlike NBA Commissioner (Adam) Silver, the commissioner of the National Football League, Roger Goodell, has publicly defended the owner," Waxman wrote. "In fact, he stated in a letter that the name is a unifying force that stands for strength, courage, pride and respect." Waxman suggested the committee could call both Snyder and Goodell as witnesses to explain "how their actions are consistent with the public interest." The Redskins declined comment on Waxmans letter. Snyder has vowed never to change the name, calling it a "badge of honour." Christian Pulisic Jersey . Martin Reway and David Griger both recorded four points with a goal and three assists each. Rachel Homan and her Ottawa Curling Club team were ready to put their feet up for an evening and a morning at the Ford World Womens Curling Championship after three straight wins, one of them a white-knuckler. "Oh my god, so ready. I cant wait to not curl for 24 hours," Homan said Wednesday. "I feel like its midnight, so it will be nice to get a break." The Canadians arrived at a break in the schedule tied atop the standings with Switzerlands Binia Feltscher at 8-1. The Canadians reverted to their custom of both taking the lead and finishing a game early in a 10-3 win over South Koreas Ji-sun Kim, who shook hands after eight ends. But Canada went the distance in the morning draw. They stole three points over the final two ends to rescue a 7-5 win over Germanys Imogen Oona Lehmann. That was the first time Homan threw her final stone at the world championship and just the second time Canada played a 10th end in Saint John. Theyd beaten Scotland the previous evening and were back on the Harbour Station ice in the morning. "It was a long haul, three games in a row on not much sleep and a big grind this morning against Germany," Homan said. Homan, third Emma Miskew, second Alison Kreviazuk and lead Lisa Weagle headed to dinner with family members feeling confident about their position. Canada concludes the round robin Thursday against China and Sweden. "Two great teams," Miskew said. Swedens Margaretha Sigfridsson and Russias Anna Sidorova were both 7-2 followed by Chinas Liu Sijia and South Korea tied at 6-3 and Allison Pottinger of the U.S. at 5-4. Scotlands Kerry Barr and Anna Kubeskova of the Czech Republic were 2-7 with Germany, Latvias Evita Regza and Denmarks Madeleine Dupont at 1-8. The top four teams in the preliminary round advance to the Page playoff. Ties for fourth will be solved by tie-breaker games. The countries with the two best records meet in one playoff game Friday with the winner advancing directly to Sundays gold-medal game. The loser drops to Saturday afternoons semifinal to meet the winner of a morning playoff between the third and fourth seeds. "We have our fate in our own hands," Homan said. "Weve got to win out and see what happens with everybody else." The Canadians, all 28 years old or younger, couldnt hide their pleasure at the prospect of sleepiing in Thursday morning. Lee Nguyen Jersey. They intended to stop in at the tournament party room before bed Wednesday "because theres a band there Signal Hill that we like," Miskew said. "Theyve come to Ottawa and we usually go and watch them in Ottawa." Canada scored three points in the fourth and stole three in the eighth versus South Korea. Pyeongchang, South Korea, is the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Kim is among the countrys female curlers getting fast-tracked to compete. The 26-year-old skipped South Korea to fourth at the 2012 world championship in Lethbridge, Alta. She beat Canadas Heather Nedohin in a playoff game, but lost the semifinal and lost the bronze-medal rematch to Nedohin. Kim threw third stones against Homan with Un-chi Gim, her lead in Lethbridge, throwing fourth stones. With the score tied 2-2, the South Koreans played conservatively in the fourth end by putting up guards early on a counter on the button. But Miskews well-executed draw around a guard forced them to chase. South Koreas poorly-placed draws opened the door for Canada to plant more counters around the button. Homan had an easy tap for three points and a 5-2 lead in front of 1,726 at Harbour Station. "Not good," Kim said. "We were a little nervous." Canada recovered from errors against Germany to grind out a win. The Germans led 5-4 heading into the ninth, when Homan and Lehmann shifted momentum back and forth with misses. Lehmann overthrew an attempted double takeout with hammer to leave Canada shot rock for a steal of one. Miskew put guards in front of a Kreviazuk draw to the button in 10th and German third Corinna Scholz missed an attempted hit and roll behind cover. Homan struggled with draws in the earlier ends, but she had it solved by the 10th as she drew in to stack two Canadian counters on the button. Lehmann cleared just one and Homan buried a draw behind a guard to lie two again. The German skips attempt to follow her didnt curl enough. "Youve got to be confident and believe you can steal because theres no other way, theres no other option," Homan said. "It was just tough out there. We werent quite reading things right. There were a lot of uncharacteristic misses. We just tried to figure out our rocks and our lines. We just had to keep playing a little bit better each end and hope for a few lucky breaks and we made it out in the end." Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork. Tie Domi Rangers Jersey .com) - Rick Nash and Derek Stepan each scored twice as the New York Rangers downed the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-2, on Sunday. Derick Brassard had a goal and an assist, while Chris Kreider and Martin St. Louis each had two helpers for the Rangers, who have won their past two games. Henrik Lundqvist allowed two goals on 34 shots. David Perron had a goal and an assist and Sidney Crosby also scored for the Penguins, who have lost their past two games. Marc-Andre Fleury allowed four goals on 17 shots and was pulled in the second period for Thomas Greiss, who stopped 13-of-14 shots the rest of the way. Final Score: Dallas 6, Chicago 3 Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Cody Eakins first career two-goal contest plus 38 saves from Kari Lehtonen resulted in a 6-3 Dallas Stars victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday night at United Center. Tyler Seguin, Vernon Fiddler, Erik Cole and Shawn Horcoff added one score each for the Stars, winners of two straight and three of four after losing four in a row. Jamie Benn added three assists and Alex Goligoski chipped in a pair of helpers as Dallas beat Chicago for the first time in four tries this season. Brandon Saad tallied twice and Patrick Kane once while Brent Seabrook assisted on two markers for the Blackhawks, who have lost three of their last four. Corey Crawford surrendered five goals on 33 shots in the setback. Final Score: Winnipeg 4, Arizona 3 (SO) Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) - Bryan Little registered the lone marker in the shootout and Winnipeg blew a late two-goal lead but rebounded to top Arizona by a 4-3 count at MTS Centre. Little began the third and final round by beating Mike Smith high to the glove side and under the crossbar. Shane Doan could have kept the game going, but shot into the pads of Ondrej Pavelec to end the contest. Little, Dustin Byfuglien and Michael Frolik scored in regulation for the Jets, who have won four in a row and pulled into a tie for third place in the Central Division with Chicago at 58 points. Pavelec finished with 28 saves. Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Lauri Korpikoski and Tobias Rieder tallied for the Coyotes, who have lost five consecutive games but earned a point for the first time during this dubious run. Smith stopped 27 pucks. Final Score: Detroit 6, Buffalo 4 Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Henrik Zetterberg picked up his first hat trick in almost two years as the Detroit Red Wings erased an early 3-0 deficit and topped the luckless Buffalo Sabres, 6-4, at Joe Louis Arena. Gustav Nyquist and Tomas Tatar each posted a goal and one assist for the Red Wings, who scored five unanswered goals to win their fourth straight and sixth in seven. Drew Miller picked up a score, Danny DeKeyser added two helpers while Thomas McCollum picked up his first career win in relief by stopping 7- of-8 pucks. Petr Mrazek worked the first 13:37 before being pulled after allowing three goals on seven shots. Tyler Ennis totaled two goals and three points for the Sabres, whose franchise-record losing streak reached 11 games. Chris Stewart and Drew Stafford also provided offense with Nikita Zadorov adding two helpers in the loss. Jhonas Enroth was on the hook for all six tallies on 26 shots. Sergei Nemchinov Rangers Jersey . The clubs remarkable off-season saw the addition of proven international players like Jermain Defoe, Michael Bradley, Júlio César and Dwayne De Rosario, as well as seasoned MLS campaigners like Justin Morrow and Jackson. Throw in Brazilian designated player Gilberto and the sense of anticipation felt by TFC supporters is understandable. The big question is this: How will Nelsen utilize the talent at his disposal? Throughout the 2013 season, Nelsen chose to stick with a 1-4-4-2 formation, and if the 2014 pre-season is any indication, it is likely that he will stick with this formation. If that is the case, these are the players that, if everyone is fit and available, I think will take the field for Toronto FC: Goalkeeper - Julio Cesar Some have pointed out that despite TFCs struggles in 2013, Joe Bendik had a reasonably good season and doesnt deserve to be replaced by César. While it may be true that Bendik had a good season last year, it is complete and utter nonsense to suggest that he should be starting ahead of Júlio César, Brazils number one goalkeeper. Despite not playing regularly for Queens Park Rangers in the English Championship this season, César is still streets ahead of Bendik. Right Fullback - Bradley Orr When Richard Eckersley departed for the New York Red Bulls this year (his contract was structured in such a way that his cap hit was prohibitive, meaning Toronto needed to dump his salary), TFC needed to bring in someone to play this position. Nelsen has options - both Mark Bloom and Ryan Richter can play right back - but he is likely to select Englishman Bradley Orr as his first choice. Orr joined TFC on loan from Blackburn Rovers, and at 31, will add experience to the back four. Left Fullback - Justin Morrow With all of the big-name signings that Toronto has made this off-season, the addition of Justin Morrow slipped under the radar. After being drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes in 2010, Morrow struggled to hold down a regular place in the Quakes lineup until 2012, when his consistently strong performances were rewarded with a place in the MLS All-Star game. Not a flashy player by any means, Morrow will be expected to tidy up the left side of Torontos defence - an area that has been a problem for the team since the clubs inception. Central Defender - Steven Caldwell If Toronto is going to achieve success this season, captain Steven Caldwell will need to be ever-present. His leadership is not something that is measured by statistics; it is seen in the day-to-day interactions with his teammates, his work rate on the training ground and in his ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver consistent performances week after week. The Scot not only has to do his job, he also has a big role to play in the development of his young partner, Doneil Henry. With Caldwell in the team, Im confident that both will be taken care of. Central Defender - Doneil Henry Doneil Henry has everything needed to play at the very highest level of the game as a central defender; he is strong, aggressive, good in the air, can tackle and is quick and athletic. His distribution, technical skills and positional awareness are a work in progress, but at just 20 years of age, he has so much potential its scary. An off-season training stint with West Ham of the English Premier League went so well, in fact, that I wouldnt be at all surprised if Henry is destined for overseas at some point in the not-too-distant future. Which makes the cries of some that "TFC needs an upgrade at centreback" completely baffling. No, they dont. They need to let this promising youngster continue his development alongside the experience of Caldwell, and under the watchful eye of Nelsen. Right Midfield - Jackson The Brazilian, acquired in a trade with FC Dallas, will slot in nicely for TFC on the right. He is quick, strong, technically solid - and capable of not only providing scoring chances, but also of converting them. With the defensive experience of Orr behind him, expect Jackson to be comfortable pinning the opposing fullback high up the pitch. This will create space in midfield for the likes of Michael Bradley and Jonathan Osorio, but will also lead to more chances being delivered from wide areas. Left Midfield - Dwayne De Rosario Alvaro Rey could very well be Nelsens first choice at left midfield, but I am of the opinion that he should find a way to get his best players on the field as much as possible. If Nelsen subscribes to this philosophy as well, then De Rosario has to play on the left. It isnt his favourite position - he would much prefer to operate centrally, just behind the front two or off a single striker - but De Rosario has played on the left before for both club annd country. Jeff Beukeboom Rangers Jersey Authentic. . Given the strengths of other players in Torontos squad, De Rosario might have to accept a role on the left if he is to be in Nelsens starting lineup. Given his attacking flexibility, De Rosario could also be used as the first substitute off the bench, filling in where needed. If that is the case, Nelsen has an able deputy at left midfield in the Spaniard, Rey. Given the lack of preseason soccer that Gilberto has played, it is also likely that De Rosario will start the season partnering Defoe in attack. If that happens, Rey will play on the left. Central Midfield - Michael Bradley One of two major signings for Toronto in the off-season, it is crucial for the club to have Michael Bradley on the pitch as much as possible. If hes fit, he will be in the starting lineup. For the uninitiated, dont expect Bradley to score double digits from midfield - goal scoring has never been one of his major attributes. What he does bring is composure, tenacity, leadership and excellent passing range - he will anchor the midfield and serve as the fulcrum around which the team operates. If Bradley plays well, TFC will win games because he will limit chances defensively, and get the ball to the teams goal scorers in dangerous positions. "The General", as he was known in Italy, will be bossing the TFC midfield for years to come. Central Midfield - Jonathan Osorio A Toronto native, Osorio had a very good season in his rookie year - five goals and one assist in 28 games - despite the teams struggles. While Nelsen could choose to play De Rosario as an attacking midfielder in this position, doing so would put a greater defensive burden on Bradley. Osorio is a better option here, because he can not only be a creative force, providing scoring chances as well as converting them by arriving late in the box, he is also better equipped to do the defensive work required in central midfield. There are question marks over whether or not Osorio can operate as a true "number 10", but I dont think his role needs to be as such. He is more suited to be a double pivot with Bradley - covering when the American makes forward runs, and vice-versa. Regardless, the partnership between the two central midfielders will be one to watch develop over the course of the season. Striker - Jermain Defoe It was a bloody big deal, wasnt it? Jermain Defoe is going to be a star in Major League Soccer. Young (and healthy) enough to have some very productive years ahead of him, Defoe can do for TFC what Robbie Keane has done for the Los Angeles Galaxy - terrify defenders every time the ball enters the attacking third. Like Keane, it isnt size, strength or even speed that makes Jermain Defoe so dangerous - it is his movement and finishing ability. Watch for him to drop into midfield to link play and bring others into the game, to pull off on the shoulder of the last defender to exploit space, to make blind-side runs across the face of goal and to have a clinical finishing touch when presented with chances to score. Defoe has been a goal-scorer his entire career - and there is nothing to indicate that this pattern will end now that he is plying his trade in a TFC jersey. Striker - Gilberto The first of TFCs major off-season moves, Gilberto is very much the one with the most to prove. He carries neither the track record nor the pedigree of Defoe or Bradley, and as such, is something of an unknown quantity. Yet Nelsen felt strongly enough about him to make him the first of three designated player signings in the off-season - which means that Gilberto will be in the lineup at every opportunity. Worryingly, Gilberto has not played a great deal in preseason. This could see Nelsen prefer to start the season with De Rosario in attack - but that is likely to be short-lived, as the TFC coach will want to get his best players on the field as often as possible. Given the upgrades that Toronto FC has made - in virtually every position - Ryan Nelsen has the flexibility to employ a variety of tactical formations. He could, for example, slide De Rosario to the tip of a diamond midfield four, with Osorio sliding left and Bradley operating as a genuine holding midfielder. He could also push De Rosario forward to employ a 1-4-3-3 formation, with the Canadian prowling up front alongside Gilberto and Defoe. Another option, if Gilberto struggles to get himself fit, is to play a 1-4-2-3-1 formation, with the attacking midfield three of Rey, De Rosario and Jackson supporting Defoe in the lone striker role. For the first time ever, Toronto FC has options. If they are to achieve success this season, it will be because Nelsen has found a way to unlock their obvious potential. If not, then his position will come under scrutiny. Regardless, if you are a fan of Toronto FC, you are looking forward to the 2014 MLS season with anticipation. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Time to go to work. Elias Lindholm Hurricanes Jersey . After four months of everyone telling you how good you are, the transition of now proving how good you are begins. Yes, the contract still has to be signed and a residence found, but in a matter of 30 days for those drafted in the first round of this years NFL Draft, expectations will be high, as now you have to prove your worth. As always, it was an interesting process at Radio City Music Hall with limited drama and more logic than risk. The logic began early with with Jadeveon Clowney and Greg Robinson going #1 and #2 to the Houston Texans and St. Louis Rams, respectively. Blake Bortles at #3 was a surprise, but then again the Jacksonville Jaguars have serious quarterback developmental problems, so this was a need pick more than a move for the best available player. Where the draft became interesting was when the Buffalo Bills moved up to take Sammy Watkins out of Clemson. As an organization, I doubt they will regret the move 365 days from now, as Watkins is about as sure as you can get (barring injury, of course). When you look at the Bills right now, and this is despite the trade earlier today of Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers, Watkins and Robert Woods make for a solid tandem at wide receiver. Add CJ Spiller at running back and EJ Manuel has a lot to work with. And all four are similar in age , that age being young . A #1 pick in 2015 is a lot to give up, but Watkinss ability to take a short pass and make it into a major gain is phenomenal. A good aggressive move by the Bills. The next 3 picks (Khalil Mack to the Oakland Raiders , Jake Matthews to the Atlanta Falcons and Mike Evans to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) were expected. But then how about the Cleveland Browns? Justin Gilbert at corner to work in tandem with Joe Haden, also a first-round pick, was a bit surprising, but getting Johnny Manziel buy trading up four spots with the Philadelphia Eagles was smart, Draft day football. So the Browns created a top cornerback and a new quarterback and will have two first-rounders in 2015 with the Bills pick. Nice day of Draft strategy for Cleveland. I think Manziel will do well in the NFL. Kyle Shanahan will be his offensive co-ordinator and personal coach and that is significant in that it was Shanahan who coached Robert Griffin III in Washington. Whatever developmental mistake he made, if any, in Washington, he will not make in Cleveland with Manziel. The next seven picks had reason and thought about the until # 16 with the Dallas Cowboys. Now Zack Martin from Notre Dame will be a solid player, but Dallas allowed the third-most points in NFL history last year, so it did not make sense to draft a guard/tackle with their first. Yes, their center and last years first-rounder, Travis Frederick, was outstanding last year, but there were glaring needs ignored. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat Dallas to the Ryan Shazier pick one spot before and he was a player who Dallas wanted, but Calvin Pryor and CJ Mosley went to the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens with the next two picks! Both would be instant starters in Dallas. This one made no sense unless Zack Martin is a star very soon. Another team that made a good move was the New Orleans Saints with Brandin Cooks. They traded up with the Carolina Panthers and took the player who most emulates Darren Sproles, who is now an Eagle. Sean Payton is a master designer of both physical football on offence and speed football the next series. Cooks is a speed element that, in the Mercedes Superdome, could be difficult to contain. Pick #23 by the Kansas City Chiefs was pretty smart too. Dee Ford of Auburn fell off the evaluation radar completely as the Draft came closer to happening. He is a good speed rusher and now the Chiefs have three of them on their Roster. The Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos because of the pass rush in this years Super Bowl and the Chiefs took notice. Maybe the biggest risk/reward draft pick was #29 by the New England Patriots. i dont know much about Dominique Easley, a defensive lineman out of Florida, other than that he has had two ACL surgeries. If you are unfortunate to have a third, it is tough to remain explosive as your main body part is wearing out. I am sure the Patriots investigated his health intensely, but it is a risk, especially when you consider Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, that I am surprised they would take. Finally, Mike Zimmer and his Minnesota Vikings had a good day. Anthony Barr at # 9 out of UCLA could be a star on the horizon and then trading up with Seattle to get Teddy Bridgewater was also smart. The fans at Radio City Music Hall gave Bridgewater a standing ovation for a quarterback who lives for his mothers heath and dropped hard after his pro day. It will be really interesting to see how he does and, if he does well, it will put into dispute the emphasis on physical skills versus football skills coming out of college. He is in a great situation as Mike Zimmer will improve the defence, Adrian Peterson will be Adrian Peterson and with Phil Loadholt at right tackle and Matt Kalil at left tackle, Teddy Bridgewaters in-pocket skills will be supported. Bridgewaters coach by position is Norv Turner, who is responsible for Troy Aikmans success and Alex Smiths best year in San Francisco. Its a nice place to be. The first round is over in the NFL Draft and you know every team will say they got precisely what they wanted. We know thats not the truth, but with six more rounds to go, there still is optimism for all involved . Cam Ward Hurricanes Jersey . Dont miss a single shot, live on TSN beginning at 7pm et/4pm pt. Winners of their last eight games, the Heat return to Toronto for the second time in the month of November. For the past two games, hes looked rather good for any age, and has pulled the Pelicans out of a slump. Davis had 29 points and 14 rebounds and New Orleans defeated Milwaukee 112-104 on Friday night. Tyreke Evans scored 25 points for the Pelicans, whove won two straight after losing their previous eight games. "It feels good to get back in rhythm, winning some games," said Davis, wholl get to celebrate his 21st birthday in the Big Easy on Tuesday. "We know how that eight-game losing streak is and we dont want to get back to it, and weve got to keep working." Davis, who hit 12 of 22 shots on an array of layups, crowd-pleasing dunks and mid-range jumpers, is shooting 58 per cent (22 of 38) in his past two games. He had 28 points and 15 rebounds in a victory over the Lakers in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. The 6-foot-6 Evans, meanwhile, has been thriving since being moved from the bench into the starting lineup in the small forward spot. He had 24 points against the Lakers and 27 on Monday night in a loss at Sacramento. Being on the floor with Davis, who draws so much attention from opposing defences, has certainly helped, he said. "Its been fun. Thats the way its supposed to be," Evans said. "We both like to play together. We both work hard. To see us both going like that, it just makes things better for our team." Anthony Morrow added 16 points for New Orleans, including a 3-pointer as he was fouled to give the Pelicans their largest lead at 100-90 with 4:50 left. Brian Roberts scored 14 and Eric Gordon 12 for New Orleans. "We let Anthony Morrow get away from us. He made some shots going down the stretch," Bucks coach Larry Drew said. "We have a game plan against Davis and Tyreke Evans and Gordon and guys like that. Its the guys off the bench who end up hurting us." Khris Middleton scored 25 for Milwaukee, which lost its second straight. Jeff Adrien added a career-high 20 points to go with 10 rebounds, while Ramon Sessions had 16 points and Brandon Knight 15. Milwaukee entered the game without starting forward Ersan Ilyasova, suspended for throwing a punch in a game Wednesday. The Bucks then lost guard O.J. Mayo to aan ejection for a flagrant-2 foul late in the first quarter. Victor Rask Hurricanes Jersey. With Ilyasova out, John Henson was thrust into the starting lineup, drawing the assignment of defending Davis. "Hes tough, man. Just as far as the activity, they run a lot of stuff where they pull out the side on a pick and roll for him," Henson said. "He attacks or he shoots the jump shot, and thats kind of what they got going over there and it really helped to push the lead up to where we couldnt come back." There were 24 lead changes in what turned out to be a highly competitive, action-filled game between a pair of struggling teams. The Pelicans shot 50 per cent (42 of 84) but were unable to build a significant lead because the Bucks shot 45 per cent (40 of 89) even without Ilyasova and Mayo, who together average 23 points per game. Milwaukee led 79-78 after Sessions driving layup opened the fourth quarter, but Davis driving layup and 15-foot jumper sparked a 10-2 run that put the Pelicans in front for good. Neither team led by more than five points in the first half, when there were 20 lead changes. Mayo had taken only one missed shot when he was ejected after less than three minutes on the court. Mayo collided with Pelicans centre Greg Stiemsma, who was setting a screen, then appeared to shove Stiemsma with a flailing arm to the chest. Pelicans coach Monty Williams rushed in to pull Stiemsma away. Officials initially called a flagrant foul, but upgraded the severity to a flagrant-2 after video review. "I reacted the wrong way and handled it for sure the wrong way," Mayo said. "I want to apologize to the Bucks fan base, the city of Milwaukee and obviously New Orleans and the (fans) who came out and watched the game. Its definitely the wrong way to conduct yourself. Ive got to be better and I will." Still, the Bucks were clinging to a one-point lead before Roberts hit a 5-foot floater as he was fouled for a three-point play, giving New Orleans a 51-49 halftime lead. NOTES: Davis has now surpassed 20 points and 10 rebounds in a game 21 times this season, and he has 29 double-doubles overall. ... Pelicans reserve centre Jeff Withey, a rookie, grabbed a career-high eight rebounds in 14:29. ... Middletons 25 points were more than double his average of 11.7 coming in and four short of his career high. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Anthony Morrow added 16 points for New Orleans, including a 3-pointer as he was fouled to give the Pelicans their largest lead at 100-90 with 4:50 left.

It was the win in game two that locked up the regular season title and sent the Goldeyes into the playoffs for the seventh time in Rick Forneys nine seasons as Goldeyes manager. "There isnt a guy in that clubhouse who didnt want the ball in that game tonight and I was about as happy as I could be to the one who got the start," said Hernandez. "When I think about the fact that I missed two-and-a-half years of baseball because my arm just wouldnt do what I needed it to do and when I think about the bad start I got off to this season (his ERA was 7.29 after his first three starts), Im just happy that Rick gave me the ball tonight. "This is a great team. Maybe the best team Ive played on in my career. Im so fortunate to be here. We look up at that 2012 Championship pennant banner every day and we want one of those. Thats the goal. This is a great start but there is more work to do yet." After taking the opener 6-3, the Goldeyes got two runs in the first inning of the nightcap and thats all they needed. Brock Bond led off with a single, Jake Blackwood was hit by a pitch, and then Tyler Kuhn hit a ground rule double into the Goldeyes bullpen to score Bond with what turned out to be the winning run. Casey Haerther grounded out, but Blackwood scored from third and the Goldeyes had more than they needed with Hernandez on the mound. Down two-zip, the Fish got a single from Jake Blackwood and then after Tyler Kuhn walked and Casey Haerther singled to load the bases. Reggie Abercrombie was safe on a fielders choice and drove in Blackwood for Winnipegs first run.
