Tom DeMark創建的德馬克指標和RSI有點類似，也是分析市場超買和超賣的狀態，但是德馬克指標的指向速度更快，能讓交易者更早鎖定潛在的反轉機會。
同樣在GBPUSD周圖上應用德馬克，能夠更早發現入場機會。交易者可以將止損設置在200日均線處，交易目標是德馬克指標超賣區域，這樣上面兩筆50日均線交易都有較好的風險回報比。200日均線交易則可以將兩條均線之間的距離作為止損距離，退場策略不變：
