James banked in a running one-hander at the buzzer Authentic Customized Bengals Jerseys , giving the Cleveland Cavaliers a 105-103 win over Toronto on Saturday night in Game 3 and shoving the Raptors to the edge of their most devastating playoff exit.
After the Raptors tied it on rookie OG Anunoby’s 3-pointer with eight seconds left, James took the inbounds pass, dribbled the length of the court and rose off the floor on the left side of the basket just feet from Toronto’s bench.
Glass. Bucket. Bedlam.
”Tie game, down one,” James said. ”I live for those moments.”
As the noise level in Quicken Loans Arena rose to jet-engine levels, the Cavs sprinted from the other end of the court and mobbed James. After some tight hugs, he was back atop the scorer’s table – just like he did after a last-second 3-pointer to win Game 5 against Indiana – and celebrated a win that was up for grabs.
”I’ve been doing that since I was like six, seven, eight years old,” James said. ”Maybe even before that. There’s a picture floating around of me beside a Little Tikes hoop with a saggy Pamper on and I was doing it back then and all the way up until now, at 33.
”Things that you dream about, that you get those opportunities and I’ve been fortunate enough to get a handful of those in some of the biggest moments in my career.”
James finished with 38 points, Kevin Love added 21 and 16 rebounds and Kyle Korver scored 18 for the Cavs Bengals Elite Jerseys , who have won nine straight postseason games over the Raptors and may sweep them for the second straight year.
The difference in the two teams is simple: One has James, the other doesn’t.
”I ran out of words a while ago,” said Korver, struggling to describe James’ latest heroics. ”I’ve seen him shoot that shot, that game-winner, countless times when he’s messing around in shootaround and practice. It’s always like, why would he shoot a shot like that – to win a playoff game?
”Unbelievable play. He did it again. He’s been so huge in those moments for us all year.”
It was the fifth career postseason buzzer-beater for James, the second of these playoffs, and this one had maybe the highest degree of difficulty of them all.
”It is very difficult,” James said, smiling. ”Don’t try it at home.”
Kyle Lowry scored 27 for Toronto, which played much more physically and clawed back in the fourth quarter while All-Star DeMar DeRozan was on the bench. DeRozan, despondent at not being able to do more or help when it mattered most Youth Chase Edmonds Jersey , went just 3 of 12 from the field and scored eight points.
”It was extremely hard, extremely hard,” DeRozan said of being benched by coach Dwane Casey in the fourth. ”I never want to be over there watching. It definitely sucks to watch it. It was just one of those nights for me, personally. I kept thinking, as long as we win, it cures everything.”
Casey wanted to trap James on the final play, but he went by defenders at ”100 miles per hour.”
Lowry knew James would take the ball up the left side, and once he pulled up there wasn’t much that could be done.
”Maybe we could have doubled him or made him go right,” Lowry said. ”You know he’s going left and he made a tough shot.”
After winning the series’ first two games in Canada, the Cavs came home and won a brawl with the Raptors, who just can’t beat James. He’s 11-2 against Toronto in the past three postseasons.
The three-time champion has ended the Raptors’ past two seasons, and despite playing with a different supporting cast, James is one win from a Toronto trifecta.
We The North? He The North.
Game 4 is Monday night Youth Phillip Gaines Jersey , and the odds are stacked against the rattled Raptors. Of the 129 teams in NBA history to fall behind 3-0, none has come back to win.
”Fight,” Lowry said when asked what’s next. ”Rumble. What else are you gonna do?”
This was supposed to be the Raptors’ season, the one that ended in triumph over James. Toronto had the East’s best record, the No. 1 seed, home-court advantage and a Cleveland team that appeared very beatable.
But the Cavs stole Game 1 by a point in overtime, and James scored 43 in a virtuoso Game 2 performance.
Then, as he has done so many times, he ripped out Toronto’s hearts with a probable series-and-season-ending dagger, a shot that belongs right at the top of so many in his remarkable career.
”There was way more time than I needed,” he said.
BLAME GAME
The first half ended in frustration for the Raptors with DeRozan, Casey and his assistants screaming at the officials following a sequence that went against them.
Serge Ibaka’s basket was originally counted and then waved off by the referees, and the reversal was doubly painful as Love buried a 3-pointer to put the Cavs ahead by 13. When the half ended Saints Game Jerseys , an incensed Casey, his suit coat flying open and his tie jumping off his chest, stormed off the floor.
In the closing minutes, Ibaka was called for a foul on what appeared to be a clean block on James.
”I thought there were some bad calls down the stretch that all went against us,” DeRozan said. ”It still came down to a running, bank-shot, game-winner by LeBron.”
LINEUP CHANGE
Desperate to find something, anything, to slow down the Cavs, Casey changed his starting lineup for Game 3. He inserted 6-foot guard Fred VanVleet and benched forward Ibaka, going with a smaller lineup . Yet while he has a 1.68 goals-against average and .947 save percentage Cheap Tennessee Titans T-Shirts , he’ll be the first one in the locker room to credit the defensemen in front of him.
”It’s a team game – win as a team, lose as a team,” said Fleury, who looks to become the 11th goaltender in NHL history to have his name on the Cup at least four times – and the fourth of that group to win with multiple teams.
”These guys are a big part of our success. We’re well balanced, we got some veteran guys, some younger guys, got some offensive guys, some defensive guys playing together. Those guys have been rallying all playoffs, trying to help me out, blocking shots and letting me see the puck, so it’s been a lot of fun.”
The pairings of Nate Schmidt and Brayden McNabb, Shea Theodore and Deryk Engelland Cheap Sam Hubbard Jersey , and Colin Miller with Luca Sbisa or Jon Merrill, have helped the Golden Knights become a very tight defensive team during the playoffs, something that will have to carry into Game 1 at T-Mobile Arena, on Monday against the Washington Capitals.
Schmidt has developed into the team’s top defenseman after struggling to find consistent ice time in Washington last season, when he averaged 15:29 on the ice. The fifth-year pro leads the Golden Knights with an average 22:14 on the ice and brings a familiarity to the Final, having played with Washington’s top scorers Evgeny Kuznetsov (24 points) and Alex Ovechkin (22), who rank first and second, respectively, in overall playoff scoring.
”I know a lot of those guys, I know what they like to do,” said Schmidt, who has six points (2 goals Youth Trent Murphy Jersey , 4 assists) in the postseason. ”For what I want to do on the ice, it helps me and I think it helps our group as well that we’ve had success against them. But it’s a whole other type of animal this time of year.”
The Golden Knights swept the regular-season series against Washington, winning 3-0 on Dec. 23 in Vegas and 4-3 on Feb. 4 in D.C.
With five more Capitals have double-digit points – Nicklas Backstrom (16), John Carlson (16), T.J. Oshie (15), Lars Eller (13) and Tom Wilson (11) – Vegas will need one last big effort from a defensive group that has helped allow the second-least number of goals among playoff teams that have played 10 games.
Washington coach Barry Trotz said he knows the Golden Knights have three dynamic duos that each feature one offensive guy who can skate and move the puck – that being Miller, Theodore, and Schmidt – paired with more of a traditional stay-at-home defenseman who isn’t afraid to get physical, block shots and slow the opposing team’s pace – such as Sbisa, Engelland, Merrill and McNabb.
”But they still bring some offense, too Youth Will Dissly Jersey ,” Trotz said. ”They play 5-5-5 all three zones just as we talk about with the Capitals. Watch the TV, you see five guys in the picture, then you’re doing good.”
Schmidt said using speed against them worked during the regular season, by moving their feet more than Washington did, and helping to develop plays in transition. But again, this is the Stanley Cup Final, and Schmidt said he knows Washington can skate well and will be a challenge.
”I think another thing is just making sure you’re really disciplined against this team,” Schmidt said. ”You’ve got to make sure you stay out of the penalty box, keep Ovechkin off the power play and keep that unit off the power play.”
To Vegas’ credit, however, it does have the fourth-best penalty kill in the playoffs, stopping 82.5 percent of the power plays it has seen. And Josh Rosen Jersey Cardinals , as Sbisa said, that circles back to Fleury and the chemistry that’s been built with the defensive pairings.
”That bond is definitely there,” Sbisa said. ”You don’t have to worry about anything else, play it loose, play to your strengths and that’s what we’ve been doing as a group. The six Ds that are playing that night, they’re tight; we play as a three-man group (with Fleury). Flower’s a guy that doesn’t take too much credit for himself, even though he should, because he’s been that good and it’s obviously nice to hear stuff like that coming out of his mouth. But he definitely deserves all the credit here.
”As a D-man, knowing that you have the best goalie in the world behind you, saving you when something happens, it makes a huge difference because it allows you to play your game. Praise has to go both ways.”

The second-year quarterback out of Clemson, who is recovering from tearing his right ACL during practice last season, said he met and surpassed them by the end of the team’s final veteran minicamp on Wednesday.

Going through this rehab process is not new to Watson.
In his freshman season at Clemson, Watson tore the ACL in his left knee during practice as well. Having been through it before and knowing the work he put in, Watson wasn’t surprised about his progress.
”I kind of knew where I was going to be Roquan Smith Jersey Bears ,” Watson said. ”I put the time, effort and work in every morning. Just been grinding, so I’m not surprised at all. I’m right where I need to be and where I want to be.”
Despite having to recover from the injury, Watson feels as if he is ahead of where he was this time last year.
In 2017, Watson was selected No. 12 overall by the Texans and participated in the offseason program. During his second offseason in the NFL Cheap New York Jets T-Shirts , his experience from the past year is paying dividends now.
”I’m light years away from where I was last year coming in,” Watson said. ”Just a rookie knowing what I knew from college and what I learned in the pre-draft and what I learned in the QB room. Everything was going so fast, a lot of information at that time.
”Having a full season and offseason with Coach (Bill) O’Brien and Coach Sean Ryan I’ve been able to advance my game and take my game to a whole other level. It’s been great.”
O’Brien has seen first-hand the improvement and development of the young quarterback.
”With the work ethic he has and the mindset that he has you’re going to get better at knowledge of the offense, knowledge of the defense and your own mechanics,” O’Brien said.
”There’s just been a lot of improvement in a lot of different areas. He’ll keep it going over the next five weeks and he’ll be ready for training camp.”
Heading into this year’s training camp for the Texans Youth Miami Dolphins Jerseys , unlike in some past seasons, there is no doubt who will be taking the reps with the main offensive unit.
With everything being settled on that side, O’Brien said he knows how the reps will be divided.
The biggest benefit is the team knows exactly what they will start working on once training camp begins.
”This year we know who our starting quarterback is,” O’Brien said. ”Obviously we’re very comfortable with that. That’s a good thing for our football team. All that means is that we’re settled there.
”It doesn’t mean anything relative to last year. It just means hey look we’ve got to come in ready to go in training camp and we’ve got to continue where we left off from when he was the quarterback.”
The Texans will finish their offseason program with meetings on Thursday before breaking for five weeks. Houston will open training camp at The Greenbrier in West Virginia at the end of July.
The Texans open their preseason at Kansas City on Aug. 9.

The Philadelphia Flyers are in danger of dropping out of playoff position in the Eastern Conference. The Carolina Hurricanes have a challenging climb to snatch a playoff spot.
“Obviously the sense of urgency now has to be amped up regardless where we’re at,” Flyers defenseman Andrew MacDonald said.
Article continues below ...Philadelphia is 1-6-1 this month, beginning with a 4-1 home loss to Carolina.
The Hurricanes are 1-4-0 across their last five games. Carolina has allowed six goals in three of its last six games.
“We are in a hole right now,” Hurricanes forward Lee Stempniak said. “We still think we are going to make the playoffs and we believe we can Falcons Calvin Ridley Jersey , but it gets harder with each loss.”
The Flyers have 10 more points than the Hurricanes, so they’re in better shape in terms of playoff position, though their margin for error has been considerably sliced.
“We have 11 games left, we’re there right now so obviously if we can take care of business down the stretch here, we’ll be fine Cheap Barkevious Mingo Jersey ,” MacDonald said. “I think we just have to adjust and make sure we take care of things.”
The Flyers believe there’s much to be gained from the recent slide if the reaction is appropriate.
“I think the message is it is what it is, we’re going to learn from it and then get better,” said Philadelphia goalie Alex Lyon, who played in relief in Thursday night’s home loss to Columbus.
By the end of February, the Flyers looked like they could contend for a top spot in the Metropolitan Division. Now Authentic Kenta Maeda Jersey , they’re trying to hang on to a playoff bid, though the divisional title isn’t out of reach.
“I think it’s that time of year,” coach Dave Hakstol said. “You always have to look at the reality of the situation. There’s a dark side and a negative side. Then there’s an opportunity side.”
The Hurricanes haven’t played since blowing a three-goal, third-period lead in the final 10 minutes of Tuesday night’s 6-4 home loss to the Boston Bruins.
“It’s hard to explain,” Carolina defenseman Justin Faulk said. “I think we’re a good team (but) our backs are against the wall. We’re playing tig

The concept of a whiteout was less fun for the Jets come Saturday, as they tried to make their way to the Twin Cities for Game 3. A freak April blizzard hitting central Minnesota shut down MSP Airport during the day, forcing the Jets to land in Duluth, Minn., in the early afternoon.
The Jets’ plane returned to Winnipeg Wholesale Rashaan Evans Jersey , so the club will fly to Minneapolis tomorrow morning.
Article continues below ...That’s about the worst thing that has happened to Winnipeg so far in the playoffs, as the Jets have dominated the last five periods of this series and even survived the Wild’s attempt to send a message in the final seconds of Game 2 as fists flew all over the ice in a “playoff normal” show of increasing bad blood between these Central Division rivals.
This franchise has never won a road playoff game, and as much as they enjoyed home ice in the first two games, the Jets are aware that a less-than-friendly reception is likely in Minnesota.
“They’re the next-best home team in the National Hockey League and they’re going to get into their comfort zone real good,” Jets coach Paul Maurice said Saturday before the team left and returned to Winnipeg. “It’s a loud building, so what we need to do is handle it. The Wild, who along with Anaheim and Pittsburgh are among only three teams in the NHL to make the playoffs in each of the past six consecutive seasons, headed home Friday night in a sadly familiar position. Minnesota has trailed a series 2-0 in five of those six playoff seasons, including a year ago when it lost the first two at home and fell to St. Louis in five games.
The pre-series concern for Minnesota was how their defense would fare without mainstay Ryan Suter, who was lost for the season with an ankle injury. Instead Authentic Don Larsen Jersey , the concern after 120 minutes of hockey has been the Wild offense, which has managed only three goals and 37 shots in two games. Boy, can they use it.
The Dolphins (4-3) have to find a way to get their offense moving, and they have to decide whether to use Jay Cutler or Matt Moore at quarterback.
Article continues below ...The Ravens (4-4) can only hope quarterback Joe Flacco uses the time off to recover from the concussion he received in a 40-0 win over Miami on Thursday night.
In the midst of one of his best performances of the season, Flacco was hit high by Kiko Alonso while sliding at the end of an impromptu run near the end of the second quarter. Flacco’s helmet flew off his head, and the 10-year quarterback appeared wobbly as he struggled to his feet.
Flacco was initially placed in concussion protocol, and by halftime was ruled out.
”Joe had a concussion and a cut ear,” coach John Harbaugh said. ”They were stitching it up without any anesthesia Cheap Taven Bryan Jersey , so he’s a tough dude. That’s as much as I know.”
The coach hopes that tough dude is ready to play on Nov. 5, when Baltimore faces Tennessee on the road.
Miami, meanwhile, was looking for so much more from Moore in his first start of the year. Subbing for the injured Cutler (ribs), Moore went 25 for 44 for 176 yards.
If Cutler is healthy on Nov. 5, he will likely start against Oakland.
Some things we learned about the Ravens and Dolphins:
A BIT TOO SIMPLE: With a team that’s been held scoreless twice in five weeks and a fill-in quarterback, Miami coach Adam Gase has tried to simplify the offense for the Dolphins.
The problem with that is Titans Luke Falk Jersey , it’s become too easy for the defense to recognize what’s going on.
”One hundred percent, that’s what it is,” Gase said. ”That’s what happens when you cut it back like that: It becomes a little easier to defend. We got to start doing something right.”
SQUASHING THE RUN: The Ravens came into the game dead last in the NFL in run defense after going a league-record 21 straight seasons holding teams to less than four yards per carry. Opponents were averaging 4.2 yards per carry, and Baltimore was determined to put a stop to that.
”That’s not what we’re about, giving up a bunch of yards in the running game,” Harbaugh said. ”They took it personally. I’m sure they did.”
The Ravens allowed the Dolphins only 45 yards on 19 carries, a 2.4-yard average.
AN EASY FIX?: In a lot of ways – communications issues Authentic Chukwuma Okorafor Jersey , the inability to stop the run, not pressuring the opposing quarterback – the Dolphins defense has only itself to blame for its shoddy performance. Accepting responsibility for the self-inflicted wounds and eliminating them is where defensive end Cameron Wade thinks Miami’s turnaround must start.
”As much as that’s frustrating, that’s probably the easiest thing to fix,” he said.
NOT SATISFIED: Winning a game in record-breaking fashion can be intoxicating. To Terrell Suggs, the Ravens’ most lopsided shutout in franchise history means they simply have to work harder to do it again.
Baltimore lost four of five before coming upbig against the Dolphins in a must-win situation.
”We have a lot of work to do. We are 4-4,” Suggs said. ”Mediocrity is the worst thing in the world.”
SHUTOUT ENCORE: The Ravens now have two shutouts in a season for the first time since 2006.
”We have a standard to keep in Baltimore,” defensive tackle Brandon Williams said. ”What you saw is exactly who we are: a hard-nosed team Taron Johnson Super Bowl LI Jersey , a defense that runs to the ball and stops the run, gets a bunch of tackles in the backfield.”
The backfield played well, too. C.J. Mosley and Jimmy Smith scored on interception returns, the fourth time in Ravens history that the defense has tallied two TDs in a game.

On the biggest stage of his life, Foles silenced the critics who thought the Eagles couldn’t get to the Super Bowl without MVP candidate Carson Wentz. Foles threw for 352 and three touchdowns to lead Philadelphia to a convincing 38-7 victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC championship game Sunday.
Now he’s headed to Minnesota to face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Article continues below ...”Words can’t describe what I feel right now,” Foles said. ”All glory goes to God. I’m grateful and humbled to be part of this team. No one in the locker room doubted me. We kept working, I got more reps in practice and it’s a rhythm thing.”
While Wentz watched from the sideline, using a cane to walk following surgery to repair his torn left ACL http://www.seattleseahawksteamonline.com/dontae-johnson-jersey , Foles picked apart the NFL’s top-ranked defense. He tossed a perfect 53-yard touchdown pass to Alshon Jeffery with the pocket collapsing around him to give Philadelphia a 21-7 lead in the second quarter.
Foles then directed a 60-yard drive in 29 seconds to set up a field goal before halftime. He fired a 49-yard TD pass to Torrey Smith off a flea flicker to start the second half and tossed a 5-yard TD to Jeffery early in the fourth to make it 38-7.
Foles was at his best on third downs, completing 10 of 11 for 159 yards and two TDs. The Eagles had been 0 for 13 on third-and-10 or longer after Wentz went down. On Sunday, Foles threw an 11-yard pass to Zach Ertz on third-and-10 on the Eagles’ first touchdown drive. His long TD pass to Jeffery came on third-and-10.
The Eagles (15-3) have been underdogs in both playoffs games, mostly because Wentz was no longer playing. ”I’m not surprised,” said Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur, who held the same position with the Eagles in 2013. ”I’ve seen the best of Nick.”
A third-round pick by former Eagles coach Andy Reid in 2012, Foles had tremendous success as a starter under Chip Kelly his sophomore season. He threw 29 TDs and only two picks in 11 starts, including playoffs in 2013. Foles posted a passer rating of 119.2 Adidas Logan Couture Jersey , third-highest in league history. He tied an NFL r

After one season with the Chiefs, Foles returned to Philly to provide insurance behind Wentz.
He’ll become a folk hero if he can deliver the franchise’s first ever Super Bowl title.
