CLEVELAND (AP) Chanting through chattering teeth Authentic Alex McGough Jersey , Browns fans finally felt victorious.
Maybe the winless season wasn’t a total loss.
Thousands of disgruntled Cleveland fans, some of them calling for owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam to sell the franchise or jump in Lake Erie, paraded once around the team’s stadium in frigid conditions Saturday following a historic 0-16 season.
Article continues below ...It was a protest and it was a party as fans showed their outrage and creativity following a season many would gladly forget.
Despite wind chills below zero, fans lined the street around FirstEnergy Stadium, which has been dubbed the ”Factory of Sadness” in recent years, to cheer as 80 vehicles, a rock band on a flatbed truck and a group carrying 28 tombstones to represent the team’s 28 starting quarterbacks since 1999, took a ”no victory” lap.
Cleveland police conservatively estimated the crowd at 3,200 Authentic Jack Eichel Jersey , and reported no major incidents or arrests.
This was frozen fun mixed with some fury.
”I’m here to protest,” said Patty Szylakowski, who grew up in a football-loving household with five brothers. ”We don’t deserve this. We deserve better people in the front office.
”We deserve better people coaching and we deserve better players. We’re buying Browns gear every year. We support them every year no matter what. Something has to be done and this is not a black eye on Cleveland.
”Every fan in all the NFL cities should be thinking about this. If they got crap like we did, they would be doing the same thing.”
That was the overriding sentiment among the frosted faithful who gathered on the sidewalks just feet away from a statue honoring legendary Browns running back Jim Brown.
This was a day for fans to express frustration at their football team, and most of the anger was aimed at the Haslams, who bought the team in 2012 but have been unable to produce the winner they’ve promised.
One fan held a sign that read: ”Jimmy and Dee Go Jump in the Lake.” Another carried by a fan dressed as a bishop said: ”Deliver us from Jimmy and Dee.”
The biting cold may have deterred some fans from attending, but it did nothing to curb Cleveland’s creativity or sarcasm.
Prompted by a fan with a bullhorn, one group of marchers chanted, ”What do we want? Watchable football. When do we want it? Now.” There were floats Authentic Mark Stone Jersey , a few of them with obscene themes, fans wearing paper bags on their heads, and a Big Bird wearing Johnny Manziel’s jersey. A band played John Mellencamp’s ”Hurts So Good,” a song that underscores the pain and passion Browns fans feel for a team whose glory days are long gone.
For Chris McNeil, the day was a triumph for Cleveland.
A season-ticket holder, McNeil became the event’s unintended organizer – and a pariah to some – when his sarcastic post on Twitter last season that the winless Browns ”deserve a parade” spawned a revolt by some Cleveland fans.
McNeil endured severe backlash by fans who felt he was only embarrassing a city that has taken its share of shots over the years.
”No fights, no violence,” he said as the parade unfolded. ”I didn’t have to wear a flak jacket, none of that would reflect badly upon us. I don’t think anybody’s looking at this thing and going http://www.carolinapanthersteamonline.com/rashaan-gaulden-jersey , `look at these idiot Clevelanders who are celebrating 0-16′. I don’t think that’s the message. This is a clear message to those people (the Haslams) inside the building. That’s who we were looking for.”
For obvious reasons, none of Cleveland’s players attended the event.
However, defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah posted a message on Twitter critical of anyone who went.
”That parade is a joke,” he wrote. ”Don’t call yourself a true browns fan if you go to that thing! Going 0-16 was embarrassing enough as a player. That is like adding fuel to the fire and it is completely wrong!”
McNeil’s only goal was to give Browns fans a voice. He felt he had done just that.
”This stuff matters in this town,” said McNeil, who is donating nearly $15,000 raised for the event to the Cleveland Food Bank. ”That’s why I care about this stuff. I almost get choked up when I think about it, because people don’t realize that. You go to other markets, and people enjoy their teams and I get that. But there’s a connection here where i
t’s like family. And to see something like the Browns be bad Authentic Eric Hosmer Jersey , it’s easy for me to make jokes, it’s either you do that or you cry.
”But then you look at something like this and you say, `Man, we had this. In the `80s, this is when you’d leave a ballgame. I remember that. As a kid I’d be sitting in the backseat people honking, people yelling. You’d see that all the time after wins. To get that, we have to create this parade. It just says so much about the character of this city, the character of the people here.
”This is all positive and fun.”

. Cheap Seth Curry Jersey , Cheap Danilo Gallinari Jersey , Cheap Bill Russell Jersey , Cheap Ryan Anderson Jersey ,TAMPA Authentic Vita Vea Jersey , Fla. (AP) The highest-scoring team in the NHL is playing a stingy brand of defense in the playoffs.
Andrei Vasilevskiy and the Tampa Bay Lightning know ultimately that will be the key to the chances for a deep run for the third time in four years.
The top seed in the Eastern Conference won its opening round series 4-1 over the New Jersey Devils, with Vasilevskiy stopping 53 of 55 shots over the last two games.
Article continues below ...”We did a good job. They’re a good team, but we were better a little bit,” the 23-year-old goaltender said after Saturday’s 3-1 clinching victory.
”The guys played well,” Vasilevskiy said. ”When your team is playing well, I’m feeling much better http://www.clevelandbrownsteamonline.com/denzel-ward-jersey , more confidence. … ”Now it’s in the past and we have to move on and think about the second round.”
Nikita Kucherov scored goals in four of the five games, including three game-winners.
With five goals and five assists, he set a franchise record for points in a playoff series and also tied Vincent Lecavalier for second place on the Tampa Bay’s postseason scoring list with 52 points in 50 games.
But as well as the league’s third-leading scorer and the rest of the offense performed over the course of the series, the defense was just as good after struggling at times over the last two months of the season.
The Devils scored seven goals in the four games they lost. Before yielding one goal in each of the final two games, Vasilevskiy had never allowed one or fewer goals in a playoff start.
”He’s been unbelievable. He’s so young, but it seems like he’s been in the league for 20 years Authentic Evgenii Dadonov Jersey ,” Kucherov said. ”When he makes the saves, it gives energy to our group and the bench, everyone is fired up.”
In his first season as a No. 1 goalie, the finalist for the Vezina Trophy tied for first in the NHL in victories (44) and shutouts (eight) and finished with a 2.62 goals-against average and .920 save percentage.
Those numbers might have been even better if the Lightning had played better defense in front of him over the last half of the season.
”He was on it from Game 1,” coach Jon Cooper said of the young goaltender’s performance against the Devils.
”He just came up huge in every big situation. … The timely saves were phenomenal for us,” Cooper added. ”He just played with confidence.”
And Authentic Jonathan Drouin Jersey , that gives the Lightning reason to feel good heading into the Eastern Conference semifinals against the winner of the first-round matchup between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs.
”We don’t care who’s going to be there. There’s no easy teams in
the playoffs,” Kucherov said. ”We have to make sure we play the same way and we play our way.”
Cooper appreciates being able to close out the Devils early, avoiding a return trip to Newark, New Jersey, for Game 6.
”Ultimately, you just don’t want to get on the plane Cheap Orlando Brown Jr. Jersey , again. It’s not that there’s still series left, but it’s the wear and tear on the body and mind,” Cooper said. ”I’m not one of those, let the series go seven and just keep playing. We’ll take the rest, take a step back and prepare.”

Winning in daily fantasy isn’t always about finding contrarian picks. Yes Cheap Donte Jackson Jersey , you want to differentiate your lineup to increase your odds at winning in tournaments, but you can’t ignore the studs that are still worth their high price tags. Here are the studs to consider for Week 11:
ALEX SMITH, QB, Kansas City ($6,700DraftKings/$7,900 FanDuel)
We all know the narrative. Andy Reid’s teams come out of the bye like gangbusters. Smith doesn’t even need a boost to have value at this price and be a great play even if he had a higher cost. Smith has at least one touchdown in every game this year and has topped 20 Fantasy points in five of his nine starts. He also just so happens to have two or more touchdown passes in five starts, all on the road. Guess where Smith and the Chiefs are playing this week? Oh, just on the road in New York. And that’s the New York team (Giants) that’s falling apart and has been exposed defensively. Look at what the 49ers just did to the Giants defense and ask yourself if Smith isn’t a lock for that and more.
Article continues below ...ALVIN KAMARA, RB, New Orleans ($7,500/$7,500)
It doesn’t matter what scoring system you play under Authentic Roquan Smith Jersey , Kamara has been great the last four weeks and in five of the last six. At one point last week, the Saints ran the ball 24 straight times. This is not your parents’ Saints team. Even at home, the Saints are going to run, and when they do pass, Kamara is often involved. Since their bye, the Redskins let Carlos Hyde and Ezekiel Elliott post big games with each scoring twice. That’s the potential that lies with Kamara, and yes, Mark Ingram. The point about the two touchdowns is that both Ingram and Kamara can get their share of the value in this matchup and top 2X value.
STERLING SHEPARD, WR, New York Giants ($6,300/$6,500)
It’s a bit surprising that after last week’s performance Shepard’s cost isn’t higher. Who else is Eli Manning going to turn to in the passing game? It’s Shepard and Evan Engram. the end. Shepard is a near lock for double-digit targets going forward Authentic Pernell McPhee Jersey , and as seen last week again, he doesn’t need a touchdown to have value. Shepard posted 11 catches for 142 yards after 5 for 70 the week before in his first game back. The 49ers are terrible defensively, but the Chiefs have actually been worse against the pass, especially in defending receivers, allowing a league-high 15 touchdowns. Shepard could blow past 2X value on his way to a 4X return.
VERNON DAVIS, TE, Washington ($4,600/$5,200)
With Jordan Reed likely out again, Davis is a terrific value at this price. It’s hard to get away from the big boys at tight end this week (Travis Kelce, Rob Gronkowski, Zach Ertz Authentic Steven Stamkos Jersey , Engram), but if you do, Davis is your man. Davis has 20 targets, 13 receptions and 148 yards in the past two games without Reed. As mentioned with Kamara, the Redskins head to New Orleans this week. While the Saints are balanced offensively and stronger defensively, they do two things that increase Davis’ value. First, they still score plenty of points, which forces opponents to stay aggressive. Second, they still struggle to defend the middle of the field, where slot receivers and tight ends do their work. If you don’t want to pay the big bucks for the big boys at tight end, there is no better choice in Week 11.
RAVENS DEFENSE ($3,400/$4 Cheap Taven Bryan Jersey ,700)
The Ravens defense is a bit more of an investment on FanDuel, giving a team like the Chargers more appeal. Nevertheless, the Ravens are heading to Green Bay to face a Packers offense that has fallen to pieces. Brett Hundley has killed the value of the offense, and now the backfield is down to just Jamaal Williams. Hundley has just two touchdowns to his four interceptions as a starter, and he’s failed to top 245 passing yards. He’s also failed to throw for a touchdown in two of his four starts, and that three-interception game against a similar tough pass defense, the Vikings, is a blueprint of the Ravens game plan and the upside of their DST in DFS.

And if they get it, the Golden Knights will be Pacific Division champions.
Article continues below ...Jonathan Marchessault’s goal 22 seconds into overtime lifted Vegas to a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues, inching the playoff-bound expansion team closer to a division title in its inaugural season.
The Golden Knights (49-22-7) can win the Pacific with a point in Saturday’s home game against San Jose.
”We’re trying to get as many points as we can,” Vegas coach Gerard Gallant said. ”Somebody told me we’re one point away from clinching the division and that’s what the goal is. Let’s keep battling hard, and playing hard, and winning as many games as we can. I really don’t care who we beat Cheap Dontae Johnson Jersey , and the next season will start soon enough.”
St. Louis (43-28-6, 92 points) currently holds the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference, one point back of Anaheim (93). Colorado (92) is tied with the Blues, who hold the tiebreaker.
St. Louis, whose season-best, six-game win streak ended, has now earned points in six of its last seven road games (4-1-2).
Marchessault scored two goals, while William Karlsson and James Neal also scored for Vegas. Malcolm Subban improved to 12-3-2 after stopping 21 shots.
Barely into overtime Authentic James Shields Jersey , Marchessault took the puck by himself into the zone, skated by two defenders before circling to the point and firing a long wrist shot past Jake Allen for the game-winner.
”We had a great effort and I think it was a real good positive game for us,” Marchessault said. ”It was a big game tonight. I think it would be great for our fans (to clinch the division), they’ve been awesome all year. To get the win and clinch the Pacific would be awesome. Whoever we face, we just need to play well and I’m sure tomorrow is going to be a good game.”
Patrik Berglund, Brayden Schenn and Chris Thorburn scored for the Blues. Allen, who is now 8-1-1 in his last 10 starts, made 22 saves.
”We fought hard. This is really good hockey team and we knew it was going to be a close game Cheap Lorenzo Carter Jersey , so not surprised to see it go to overtime, you get into 3-on-3 hockey and anything can happen out there,” St. Louis coach Mike Yeo said. ”There are some things that we have to be a little bit better at … I think we could’ve moved the puck a little bit better tonight. Credit to them, they check well, and they pressure you hard.”
But it was the Blues setting the tone early, when Alexander Steen fed Berglund from behind the net, and he smacked home his 13th of the season.
Karlsson tied the game with his 41st of the season, a short-handed breakaway courtesy of a perfect pass from Cody Eakin. Marchessault gave Vegas a brief 2-1 lead with a stroke from a side angle.
Schenn tied the game later in the period when he took a pass from Jaden Schwartz and beat a shielded Subban from the right circle.
After a rather quiet period Authentic Denzel Ward Jersey , Tomas Tatar tapped the puck to Erik Haula, who touch-passed to Neal, who snapped a 12-game drought by going top shelf to beat Allen and give Vegas a 3-2 lead with 3:25 left in the second.
Scottie Upshall’s pass from behind the net found Thorburn creeping at the doorstep and the right wing slipped it through Subban’s five-hole to knot the game at 3 with 13:46 left.
”Overall, they played really well, they’re working hard and they’re finding a way to win hockey games,” Gallant said. ”We got down early, but I love the way we played. We competed the whole 60 minutes. We played a hell of a hockey game tonight against a real g
ood team.”
NOTES
Schwartz has 21 points in 27 games since returning from a lower-body injury on Jan. 25. … Neal is now one game from playing in his 700th career game and five points shy from his 500th career point. … Marchessault is one game away from his 200th career game.

Diagnosed with a concussion after absorbing a late hit by Miami linebacker Kiko Alonso late in the second quarter Authentic Leon Draisaitl Jersey , Flacco was taken to the locker room and did not return.
Fortunately for the Ravens, they didn’t need him in a 40-0 rout of the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Article continues below ...Alex Collins ran for a career-high 113 yards, and Baltimore (4-4) returned two interceptions for touchdowns in the most lopsided shutout in franchise history.
In the midst of one of his best performances of the season, Flacco was hit high by Alonso while sliding at the end of an impromptu run. Flacco’s helmet flew off his head, and the 10-year quarterback appeared wobbly as he struggled to his feet.
Alonso was flagged for unnecessary roughness, providing Baltimore with a first down that ultimately turned into a touchdown.
Flacco was initially placed in concussion protocol Cheap Jalyn Holmes Jersey , and by halftime was ruled out.
”Joe had a concussion and a cut ear,” coach John Harbaugh said. ”They were stitching it up without any anesthesia, so he’s a tough dude. That’s as much as I know.”
Flacco went 10 for 15 for 101 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Maclin.
After losing four of five to fall under .500 for the first time this season, the Ravens put it all together with a showing that included a 63-yard interception return by C.J. Mosley and a 50-yard pick-six by Jimmy Smith.
”We coached a lot better, obviously. And we played a lot better Cheap Billy Price Jersey ,” Harbaugh said. ”It was just a much better game for us.”
The Dolphins (4-3) came in with a three-game winning streak after rallying from 17- and 14-point deficits in the previous two weeks. There would be no comeback in this one, not against a swarming Baltimore defense that limited Miami to 196 yards.
Matt Moore was making his first start of the season, for an injured Jay Cutler. Four days earlier, Moore engineered a victory over the Jets after Cutler left with fractured ribs.
In this one, Moore completed 25 of 44 passes for 176 yards. He was sacked three times, and both his interceptions turned into scores for Baltimore.
”This is tough. These are hard ones Titans Rashaan Evans Jersey ,” Moore said. ”You don’t ever go into a week preparing and expect it to turn out like this. I don’t know what to say right now. It’s just tough, tough. We got to figure some stuff out. I got to figure some stuff out.”
Moore received little backing from the running game, which generated only 45 yards against the 32nd-ranked rushing defense in the NFL.
”It was inept. We’re not doing anything,” Miami coach Adam Gase said.
Baltimore went up 7-0 when Maclin slipped behind Bobby McCain and Nate Allen to haul in Flacco’s perfect pass on the right sideline.
Justin Tucker added field goals of 55 and 48 yards in the second quarter. After Cody Parkey missed from 50 yards for the Dolphins – his first misfire in nine tries this season – Flacco began the drive that would end in the end zone without him.
The late hit by Alonso gave Baltimore a first down at the Miami 5. Three plays later, Ryan Mallett threw a 2-yard TD pass to Benjamin Watson.
Mosley iced it with 14:15 left when he snared a poor throw by Moore near the line of scrimmage and turned it into his first career interception return for a touchdown.
As the Ravens were closing in on another score, a few players exchanged shoves and punches before Chris Moore pounced on a fumble in the end zone.
Overseeing an offense focused on protecting a sizable lead Authentic Bud Norris Jersey , Mallett went 3 for 7 for 20 yards.

Since the NFL went to the eight-division format in 2002, this marked just the third time one conference won at least 60 percent of its games against the other conference, with the AFC going 40-24 in 2006 (.625) and 44-20 in 2004 (.688).

Cleveland and the Jets were the only teams to go winless against the other conference, while the Rams, Carolina and even last-place Chicago all swept the four games.
The discrepancy is easily noted in the playoff race, where three teams with 8-7 records are still in the hunt in the AFC, while Seattle is in danger of missing the playoffs with 10 wins in the NFC.

NO NIGHT GAME: There is not Sunday night game to end the NFL season this year. None of the matchups could guarantee that any night contest would have significance.
For example, had Carolina at Atlanta – the best matchup of the 16 games – been switched to the evening and Seattle lost in the afternoon Packers JK Scott Jersey , the Falcons would already have qualified for the offseason. If New Orleans were to beat Tampa Bay in the afternoon, the Panthers would be stuck as the No. 5 seed.
Plus, it’s New Year’s Eve, when the viewing audience might not be as big as previous Sundays, and flexing a game to night time on that day might not have made much sense.
NBC likely will get some compensation from the league down the road, probably an additional prime-time game next season. But competitively, it seems a wise move to not play Sunday night.
”This is a long-term partnership,” said NBC spokesman Greg Hughes, ”and this was the best decision for the parties concerned here: the NFL the fans and us.”

Thomas said he’d cherish the accomplishment, especially considering the Broncos this season have cycled through three quarterbacks:- Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch, who gets his second start Sunday against Kansas City.
”Being able to come out and do that with three different quarterbacks … it says a lot,” Thomas figured.
Thomas turned 30 last week, but that’s one number he isn’t worried about.
”Not at all. I don’t even know how old I am,” Thomas said. ”I feel like I’m 20-something. I’m young. I still got the juice, baby. Can’t act like it didn’t happen, but as long as you got the juice Cheap Lamar Jackson Jersey , 30 is the new 20 and 50 is the new 30.”

QB RUNS: Carolina’s Cam Newton and Seattle’s Russell Wilson have a chance to join the rare fraternity of quarterbacks to lead their team in rushing for a season.
Newton is barely ahead of teammate Jonathan Stewart headed into the season finale, while there is no question that Wilson will end up leading the Seahawks in yards rushing. Newton has 695 yards this season to Stewart’s 680. Wilson has 550 yards rushing, which is 300 yards more than any of Seattle’s stable of running backs, a group that has done very little all season.
Chris Carson, who hasn’t played since Week 4, still has the most yards rushing by a Seattle running back with 208.
Newton has done this before, leading the Panthers in rushing in 2012. Others QBs who have led their team in rushing include Donovan McNabb with Philadelphia in 2000, and Randall Cunningham for the Eagles in three straight seasons (1988-90).
