There the traditional multi camera style of Love Lucy, Cosby Show and as seen currently on hits like I Met Your Mother and and a Half Men. On the other hand, Rock, Development and Office use a more cinematic single camera shooting style. Multi camera shows usually have a live audience or laugh track; single camera shows dispense with the stage metaphor and have no laugh track. For you gamers, it's somewhat analogous to the difference between a side scrolling video game like Mario Brothers and a first person shooter, like Halo.
A testament to my solipsism, I hadn't seenanyof the new multi camera shows (all of which are more highly rated than those I regularly watch) until recently, when the matter was brought to a glaring point. The deeper we get into our Internet powered, on demand culture bubbles that let us watchonlythe things we care about, the more jarring it is to see things that have mainstream, popular appeal. "Basically when I hit enter on the keyboard, [the university networks] all respond at the same exact time and basically overwhelm websites with too much information," he explains. It's called a denial of service attack.
Within hours, he had taken down six major websites.
"The overall purpose was to intimidate other hacker groups," says Calce.

Thursday afternoon in the Forest of Bowland and since the previous evening there have been no sightings from the hen harrier nest hidden halfway down the fell. A volunteer who stayed up all through the night keeping a telescope trained on the site is now asleep, and four of us sit on the open heather for the day shift, staring out across the valley towards a steep ravine known in Lancashire parlance as a clough.
Suddenly, a hen harrier appears, scything along the top of the moorland ridge. These birds of prey are known as sky dancers for their elaborate aerial displays and as it dives down its grey plumage flashes off the black boggy earth. It is a male, and not the one who is supposed to be providing food for the nesting female, but still those present breathe a sigh of relief as we watch the bird swoop. A glimpse any glimpse is at least proof this fragile population hasn yet been wiped out altogether.
The dramatic sight of a hen harrier in flight is one that typifies the rugged uplands. Next month the hen harrier could even be named Britain national bird when the results of a country wide poll are announced. Yet it is also one that could soon be consigned to history. Hen harriers are England most threatened bird of prey with last year only four breeding pairs in the entire country. The open moors of Bowland are their final stronghold but presently just two nesting pairs remain. Hence the 24 hour protection squad and the reason why the location of the site is being kept a secret; somebody or something is picking them off, one by one.
Three nesting male hen harriers have disappeared from here in as many weeks in suspicious circumstances. At one of the nests, another male flew in to replace the absent father, but the other two females were forced to abandon their eggs in search of food and the nests failed. As a result of the disappearances, the RSPB has placed a 10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.
Police are also still investigating another disappearance of two hen harriers from Bowland last year. The birds fledged, were fitted with robust 3,000 satellite tags and named Hope and Sky. But after taking flight from the nest in September they almost immediately vanished, along with the tags. Only burying the devices or smashing them to pieces would be enough to stop the powerful signal transmitting.
The situation, conservationists say, is as grave as it has been for 35 years, and the reason why is apparent in the grouse butts dotted all over the moor, where from the Glorious Twelfth to December each year shooters sit with their guns trained on the sky. For hen harriers are not the only ones who roam these lands in search of prey.
