The Queensland Reds have been torn to shreds by the Super Rugby title-hunting Chiefs, copping a demoralising 50-5 defeat at Suncorp Stadium. http://www.bearsrookiestore.com/Bears-Eddie-Goldman-Jersey/ .The Chiefs, the competitions leading New Zealand team, scored eight tries to one and pocketed a bonus point on Friday night as they enjoyed their biggest win over any team in Super Rugby - the ideal tune-up two weeks out from the finals. For the Reds it was an ugly reminder of how far off the pace they really are, as the Chiefs ruthlessly exposed their deficiencies and visiting players lined up to cash in on their mistakes.A crowd of 18,129 supporters were on hand, and most of them will be counting down the seconds until the arrival of 2017 recruits Stephen Moore, George Smith and potentially Quade Cooper, who will hopefully help turn things around. It took just 95 seconds for the Chiefs to begin the bloodbath, with Seta Tamanivalu blowing through some weak tackles from Samu Kerevi, Curtis Browning and Nick Frisby for the first of his two tries.Their next was a try-of-the-season contender, finished off by Atu Moli but only after a mesmerising chain of offloads that rendered the Queensland defence helpless - moments after Frisby had botched a kick for touch, turning over possession. The Reds thought theyd stemmed the damage on 21 minutes when Chris Kuridrani scored to make it 14-5, but yellow cards to Frisby and rookie fullback Jack Tuttle within two minutes of each other reduced them to 13 men, and the Chiefs pounced.Frisby kicked the ball out of the hands of Chiefs flanker Lachlan Boshier as he bore down under the posts in the 29th minute, which was deemed foul play and triggered a penalty try, while Tuttles inexperience showed when he attempted a kick and chase, but clumsily took out Tawera Kerr-Barlow as he was collecting the ball and was sent to the bin.Taking full advantage, the Chiefs ran in tries through Sam Cane and Tamanivalu to make it 33-5 at the break before Nathan Harris and a second-half double from Damian McKenzie piled on more hurt in the second half.McKenzie finished with 20 points to his name, converting four tries. To make matters worse for the Reds, they also lost their captain, James Slipper, who went off with what appeared to be a chest injury in the first half, while Greg Holmes (neck) and Anthony Faingaa (back) were late withdrawals. While Reds interim co-coach Matt OConnor rued Queenslands errors, he admitted his side were simply blown away by an elite team. Its relative to how good they are. Theyre the best (team) weve played, OConnor said. The intensity that they played at in the first half was hard to match, and then they got on a roll and we went down to 13 blokes and it was always going to be hard from that point on. http://www.bearsrookiestore.com/Bears-Dick-Butkus-Jersey/ . General manager Jarmo Kekalainen told Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch on Friday that he wants to see Gaboriks contributions go beyond the scoresheet before considering a long-term deal for the soon-to-be unrestricted free agent. http://www.bearsrookiestore.com/Bears-Mike-Glennon-Jersey/ . You can watch the game live on TSN at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt. The Flyers had won seven of eight before dropping their last two outings on consecutive days over the weekend. Philadelphia was handed a 6-3 loss by the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday afternoon before dropping a 4-1 decision to the Rangers the following night in New York City. http://www.bearsrookiestore.com/Bears-Marcus-Cooper-Jersey/ . Several players from the other team also knelt.Joey Thomas, Garfield Highs head coach, told Seattle mmedia outlets his players have encountered either police brutality or racial profiling. http://www.bearsrookiestore.com/Bears-Dan-Hampton-Jersey/. MARSEILLE, France -- Ricardo Quaresma scored the winning penalty as Portugal beat Poland 5-3 in a shootout to reach the semifinals of the European Championship on Thursday. Rusney Castillo Jersey .With the quarterfinal level at 1-1 after extra time, Quaresma fired his spot-kick past Lukasz Fabianski to line up a match against either Wales or Belgium in Lyon on Wednesday.Having previously scored an extra-time winner in the round of 16 against Croatia, Quaresmas penalty sent Portugal into the semifinals for the fourth time in the last five European Championships.Poland winger Jakub Blaszczykowski came into the match at the Stade Velodrome as his teams top scorer. But he had a poor game and saw his penalty saved one-handed by Rui Patricio, allowing Quaresma to finish the job with the very next kick in front of a stand packed with Polish fans.On a night when captain Cristiano Ronaldo turned in another disappointing performance, 18-year-old midfielder Renato Sanches stepped up to score Portugals equalizer in the first half. The teenager was his teams main attacking threat for much of the game with his smart movement and passing, and took man-of-the-match honors in his first international start. Its wonderful for the team, for me as well for scoring the goal, he said. People criticize us, but we dont care because in the end were in the semis.Portugals last six games at European Championships have been drawn after 90 minutes in a run dating back to its loss to Spain on penalties in the 2012 semifinals.Earlier, Poland striker Robert Lewandowski had put his team in front with the quickest goal of the tournament, scoring inside two minutes.Portugal right-back Cedric Soares misjudged a cross-field ball, allowing Kamil Grosicki to break into space on the left flank and send in a low cross for Lewandowski to convert with a first-time shot.Polands lead lasted until the 33rd minute, when Sanches lit up the game with an equalizer. The youngster, who has just been signed by Bayern Munich, cut in from the right and passed to Nani, who sent it back immediately with a neat backheel. Sanches then unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the area that took a deflection off Grzegorz Krychowiak on its way past the outstretched Fabianski.Despite becoming the third-youngest scorer in European Championship history, Sanches played down his goal, calling it simply a move that just turned out that way and I scored. He also volunteered to take a penalty in the shootout and scored with a confident strike into the top-left corner. The match might have been settled in regulation time if Ronaldo hadnt missed a golden opportunity in the 85th minute. He beat the Polish offside trap with a perfectly timed run, but completely missed the ball as he tried to convert a bouncing pass from Joao Moutinho. The Real Madrid star missed another good chance early in extra time when he failed to control the ball in front of goal. The errors meant he has yet to match Michel Platinis all-time record at European Championships of nine goals. However, Ronaldo did score with Portugals opening penalty of the shootout. After the game, Ronaldo threw away his captains armband in frustration.Defeat ends Polands best run at a European Championship. It was a great disappointment for us, coach Adam Nawalka said. The players put a lot of heart into this match. They were fighting as hard as they could.Poland had never won a game in its two previous appearances at European Championships and finished last in its group as a co-host of Euro 2012.Nawalka said we should be happy with what weve achieved in France.Poland had chances to win the game in the second half, notably when Patricio stopped a diving header from Lewandowski. However, the Poles also came within centimeters of scoring an own-goal in the 81st when Pepes pass for Ronaldo was cut out by left-back Artur Jedrzejczyk, whose sliding challenge sent the ball narrowly wide of his own post.Midfielder William Carvalho has started the last three games for Portugal but will miss the semifinal thanks to a second booking of the tournament. Both teams face sanctions from UEFA for pyrotechnic use by their fans, while play was briefly stopped in extra time by a fan who ran onto the pitch before being overcome by police. He wore a green shirt and it was not immediately clear whether he was a fan of either team.---Mike Corder contributed to this report. Mitch Moreland Jersey . FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- There could be more last-minute additions to the Atlanta Falcons roster, possibly before training camp opens Thursday.General manager Thomas Dimitroff and coach Dan Quinn already believe they have a stronger roster after an 8-8 finish in Quinns 2015 debut. Quinn said he expects stiff competition at several positions, including right guard, linebacker and tight end.The Falcons signed tight end Arthur Lynch and wide receiver Corey Washington on Wednesday and announced the retirement of safety Charles Godfrey. The moves left the Falcons with 88 players, two below the maximum.Lynch, from the University of Georgia, was a fifth-round pick by Miami in 2015 who was signed to Denvers practice squad last year. Washington had five receptions for 52 yards with the Giants as a rookie in 2014. Godfrey had 12 tackles and a forced fumble in eight games with Atlanta last season.Following Tuesdays release of wide receiver and return specialist Devin Hester, Dimitroff said theres no major push to reach 90 players. He said hes still looking at free agent defensive end Dwight Freeney.Quinn said he and Dimitroff also have discussed re-signing outside linebacker Brian Schofield. The 29-year-old Schofield had 30 tackles and two sacks for Atlanta last season. There already have been changes at linebacker. Second-year player Vic Beasley Jr. will play outside linebacker in the base defense and will be an edge rusher in nickel packages.Rookies Deion Jones and DeVondre Campbell and free-agent signees Courtney Upshaw, Sean Weatherspoon and LaRoy Reynolds are expected to add speed at linebacker. Jones, a second-round pick from Louisiana State, and Campbell, a fourth-rounder from Minnesota, earned compliments for the way they picked up the defense in the offseason.Even Paul Woorrilow, the teams leading tackler each of the last three seasons, could be pushed by the new talent. Elandon Roberts Jersey. Weve been pleased with the progress of Jones and Campbell, Quinn said Tuesday. Were going to have a battle on our hands with Worrilow and Spoon and Reynolds and some of the other guys.I love the speed weve added defensively. I cant wait for that part of our game to come to life. Its going to make differences in the way we rush, the style that we play. Were probably going to play some more man to man, knowing we have the ability to do that.Quinn said Chris Chester will open camp as the starting right guard. Rookie Wes Schweitzer and Mike Person are other candidates. Tackle Tom Compton also will be given a look at guard.Because of the signing of free-agent center Alex Mack, Quinn listed offensive line as one of the teams strengths. That claim hasnt been made by a Falcons coach in several seasons.Quinn also likes his talent and depth at running back and tight end, where Devonta Freeman and Jacob Tamme are the returning starters.Freeman was a breakout star in 2015, when he rushed for 1,056 yards and had 73 catches for 578 yards. Second-year player Tevin Coleman could play a bigger role behind Freeman.Tamme was third on the team, behind Julio Jones and Freeman, with 59 catches for 657 yards in 2015. Rookie Austin Hooper of Stanford will join Levine Toilolo, D.J. Tialavea and Lynch in the competition with Tamme.I love our group of tight ends, Quinn said. I feel thats for sure one (strength). By now, Meb Keflezighi is familiar with every patch of asphalt on the New York City Marathon route. Yoenis Cespedes Jersey .He has run the race 10 times, finishing as high as first and as far back as 23rd. Its a race he holds dear for his 2009 victory -- coming at a time when some believed his career was over -- and for the way the city has opened its arms to him, time and again. Fans have cheered his every stride through the five boroughs. He calls it the marathon of the world for its diverse field and crowds. So, hes excited to return to New York for Sundays race. This time, hes even guaranteed a lead position. For the first time since 2012, Keflezighi, 41, wont be running. Instead, hell be one of the races grand marshals, along with his U.S. marathon teammates from this summers Olympics. Hell be in the lead vehicle with a chance to see the race unfold without breaking a sweat. Its going to be a whole different perspective, he said.Related story from Competitor.com: How to watch the NYC MarathonRelated story from Competitor.com: Molly Huddle ready for her marathon debutThese days, Keflezighi is taking some time to look at everything from a new angle. After competing in his fourth Olympics, hes transitioning into a retirement that could take many shapes. Its a transition that will take a while. He plans to run two more marathons, both in 2017. That would give him 26 career marathon finishes.Twenty-six marathons for the distance, he said, referring to the races 26.2-mile length. And Im also going to be 42 years old. In terms of running international, its 42 kilometers and 195 meters. So, 42 years old and 26 marathons in honor of the distance. He said nothing is official on which races hell run. Hes hopeful they will be Boston and New York. A finale in New York would be a fitting farewell. He made his marathon debut there in 2002.But were still working out the details, he said.Keflezighi will continue to train and run through next year and beyond, but he knows its time for his marathon career to end. After that, hell run half-marathons, 15Ks, 10Ks and other shorter distances, while putting most of his attention on his family, his Meb Foundation and business and charitable interests.Ive been running 26 years, he said. I just dont want to do competitive marathons where people, believe it or not, still expect me to win. Even though Im 41, 42, they want me to win. But expectations, external and internal -- even though I have the desire to do those things, go to Rio, get the gold -- I wish it were that simple. Everything has to click. Sometimes, you just have to be thankful for the things you have earned. No unturned stonesWhat Keflezighi has earned has been remarkable.Hes the only marathoner to have won an Olympic medal (silver in 2004) while also winning at Boston and New York. He was on the 2000, 2004, 2012 and 2016 U.S. Olympic teams. He won 23 national championships at various distances. And he won four NCAA titles at UCLA before turning pro in 1998.My career has been more special than I could have ever imagined, he said. Im grateful for that.He said theres no unturned stones in his marathon career. He has accomplished more than he dreamed. His only goal for his final two marathons will be to finish in the top 10. They wont be ceremonial strolls.I dont want to say, Ahh, I just finished it, he said. I want to finish strong and be as competitive as I can be.Keflezighi, who came to the United States with his family from war-torn Eritrea at the age of 12, discovered running as a middle schooler in San Diego. He then became a standout at San Diego High School and earned a scholarship to UCLA. He excelled at cross country and the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. He made his first Olympic team in the 10,000 and competed in the 2000 Sydney Summer Games. The following year, he set a U.S. 10K record (27:13.98).It wasnt until 2002 that he ran his first marathon, finishing New York in 2:12:35, good for ninth place. At the time, he said he never wanted to do a marathon again -- yet he actually had found his calling. Now he laughs when sharing his only regret: What I now know, I wish I knew then.Whats next?Keflezighis whole focus earlier this year was on making the Rio de Janeiro Olympics and doing as well as possible. He qualified by finishing second in the U.S. trials in Los Angeles in February, running 2:12:20. At 40, he became the oldest American marathoner to qualify for the summer games. He went into the Olympics feeling strong, but he got sick on race day and had to stop several times to throw up. He willed himself to continue. Then, as he approached the finish, he slipped on the wet pavement and fell face down across the line -- where he promptly did three pushups to show he was fine, got up and celebrated his 33rd-place finish in 2:16:46.Though disappointed, hes proud of what he did in Brazil. One reason he wanted to go to a fourth Olympics was so his three daughters (ages 10, 8 and 6) would have a memory of their father in the Rio Games. They were there at the finish with wife Yordanos, brother Hawi and longtime coach Bob Larsen. They remember it, Keflezighi said. That was the whole goal. My youngest daughter does remember. When she was asked what was the best part of the summer, she said, When Daddy competed in Rio.Time with his wife and daughters is at the top of Keflezighis wish list now, as he transitions into retirement. He said travel and training have taken too much time from them.He hopes to blend family time with the work he does for the Meb Foundation, which is focused on helping children to be healthy and successful. Also on that list is doing public speaking and coaching. Hes interested in coaching every type of athlete, from collegiate standouts to men and women who simply want to complete in a half-marathon.Keflezighi said he doesnt want to be known as just a fine runner but also as a positive citizen and contributor to society. And Keflezighis post-marathon world also will be filled with appearances and work for his many sponsors. Last weekend, he was at a half-marathon in Sonoma, California, mingling with runners for a company that makes jerky products. Included among his other sponsors are companies that make shoes, printers, nutrition bars, compression socks, sunglasses and tires.Though he wont be running in Sundays New York City Marathon, hes still having a busy race week. On Tuesday, he received an award from famed distance runner Grete Waitzs AKTIV Against Cancer organization for his philanthropic work, and hell take part in a news conference with the grand marshals Thursday.Twenty-four marathons down, two to go. Theres still more work to do.It is my plan, said Keflezighi, laughing, but sometimes you wonder why you come up with these things. Pedro Martinez Jersey .J. Ellis hit two-run homers and the NL West champion Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Diego Padres 4-0 Saturday night. Zack Wheeler Jersey . Here are his mid-season NBA awards.  MVP: (KEVIN DURANT-Thunder) - Has been sensational this season and more importantly, the most consistent player in the league. Considering that his team has been without star guard Russell Westbrook and with the free agent departure of sharpshooter Kevin Martin, hes had to carry the majority of the load to not only keep his team afloat but more importantly, at an elite level. Essex are riding high in Division Two of the County Championship, with their latest batch of homegrown talents alerting the England selectors. After a rocky few years of underachievement amid the fallout from the spot-fixing scandal, is the club about to return to its natural state of winning trophies and punching above its weight? Its a short walk from Chelmsford train station, where a huge image of Alastair Cook welcomes you on the stairs from platform 2, to the Essex County Ground. Past the stretch of estate agents and whats left of Dukes nightclub, across the market beneath the multi-storey car park, under the underpass and then along the edge of the River Can, Goochs river, from where, if you squint, you can still catch slivers of action through the gaps in the old Tom Pearce Stand. This river has been gobbling cricket balls since 1967, when the club finally abandoned the nomadic life to settle here in the heart of Essexs county town. The New Writtle Street ground, capacity 5,000, will bring up its half-century next year. But the party will only kick in if the club are back in the Championships top tier. Getting up there and staying up there has become something of an obsession. An institution that prides itself on upward mobility and hard-won gumption isnt used to kicking its heels on the sidelines. We may be small, says club legend Graham Napier, but we punch above our weight.Essex has never been a rich club. Nor, until The Gnome of Essex, Keith Fletcher, kicked it into shape in the Seventies, was it a successful one. For much of the first half of its existence the county played wherever it could, utilising its sprawling catchment area - running from the edge of the Anglian coast to the north-eastern corner of London - to make ends meet with fixtures here and festivals there. The Gnome changed everything. From 1979, when Essex won both the B&H Cup and the County Championship - their first honours - Fletchers band trampled all over county crickets manicured lawns, winning six Championships and five one-day titles across 14 seasons of extravagant one-upmanship. It helped that Fletcher could call on the best opening batsman in the country, Fletcher and Gooch combining for over 60,000 runs for the club. Today, both sit on the clubs cricket committee. And theyve seen some players. The rivers of talent flowing through these estuaries into the professional game are the stuff of legend. Year in, year out, we produce homegrown players, Napier says. Its the eye for talent that Essex has always had, and for drawing that talent out of people.Still, the new century has yet to deliver much silverware for the good denizens of New Writtle Street. A brace of 40-over titles claimed over a decade ago, coupled with just three seasons spent in Division One since 2000, is only partially offset by claiming the first-ever Englishman to 10,000 Test runs as one of their own. Change was due; some felt overdue.****Towards the end of last season, when it became evident that Essex would finish third in Division Two for the third year running, Paul Grayson lost his job as head coach. The subsequent appointment of the former Yorkshire and England bowler Chris Silverwood - who had been Graysons assistant and the clubs bowling coach - failed to appease those who wanted an outsider, but it was consistent with the clubs style to look at whats already there. In the same vein, a new captaincy hybrid of club stalwarts Ryan ten Doeschate (four-day) and Ravi Bopara (one-day) is now in place. Some would say its verging on the parochial, continually looking within. Others that its the best way to foster unity. The club also has a new chairman. John Faragher is Essex man in excelsis. Made his name at Ford, man and boy; son of former Essex player Harold Faragher, who in 1957 opened the legendary - and still flourishing - Ilford Cricket School with Trevor Bailey; 25 years on the Essex committee, 14 as deputy chairman, and now the top job. Negativity is so destroying! he tells AOC. You need to surround people with positivity. Keep em energised! I had 35 years at Ford. You try and bring to the role: This is business now. It could be motor cars, but our business is cricket. And business is good. Derek Bowden is now into his fourth year as chief executive, having moved from the same post at Ipswich Town. Financially were very sound, he says. Whilst were a small club with a small ground - with a turnover of plus-and-minus four million a year, were not a big business - financially were sound because we have no debt. And we have sizeable reserves, which is prudent. Any members club ought to have reserves. While the much-trailed ground redevelopment is, says Bowden, between phases following the completion of the new block in the car park behind the pavilion, there is a cautious belief that the latest plan, which involves building three new apartment blocks, a new pavilion and a new media centre in one go, will eventually get the green light. Were still working with the developer on the maths. Its quite advanced, but were not quite ready to press the green button yet. And then, of course, theres the story of the Olympic Stadium, and Essexs evident destiny to one day host cricket in it.Were frustrated, he adds, in that on the pitch weve been nearly men. Off the pitch were not nearly men. Off the pitch we do really well. But finishing third in three successive years is irritating. Weve been close, but we havent quite had that thing that takes us over the line. Thats why last year we made the changes on the cricket side of things. The new head coach ambles into the chairmans office and pulls up a chair. Its been a good start to 2016. Essex won two of their first three Championship matches and, as the season moves into one-day mode, sit top of the division. Weve done well, Silverwood says softly. Were posting big totals now.. Travis dArnaud Jersey. But equally weve bolstered the bowling attack, so we can play a better standard of cricket, a better form of cricket, to stand us in good stead in the first division. What style of cricket does that look like? Its attritional. Attritional cricket.Four-day cricket. Four-day success. Getting up to Div One. Staying in Div One. One day winning Div One. Talk to anyone round here and within seconds its repeated. Its a club-wide mantra. But while the red ball is Essexs route back to parity with the big boys and renewed self-respect as a club, the white ball must also play its part. Chris buys into the objectives of wanting to get into Division One and remaining there, and the strategy of succeeding in T20 in order to fund it. Weve got a clear plan, which is youth development and building on the academy and the region of East Anglia, and augmenting that with talent from somewhere else - and funding that through T20. Because while were a small business - albeit a stable one - we make our money on white-ball cricket and we spend it on red-ball cricket. Our ambition is red-ball driven, but it requires success in T20, so the two things come together.****Cohesiveness and Essex have not always gone together. Faragher may be right to describe the place as a club of individuals, with lots of different characters in there, going right back to the days of [celebrated prankster] Ray East and all those guys. But with big personalities can come big clashes. Around the turn of the century, the Australian Stuart Law and the northern-expat captain Ronnie Irani were ensconced as Chelmsfordian alphas, and the two did not get along. Despite Laws 1,300 Championship runs, the 2001 summer was so rancorous that when the club were relegated he wasnt asked back. They couldnt even say thank you for my services, Law said at the time. Irani, meanwhile, has stayed involved with the club, assuming the role of chairman of the cricket committee in the shake-up that saw Grayson depart.Of course, there isnt a county dressing room in the land which hasnt staged some version of the Law-Irani cold war. The fallout around the spot-fixing scandal, however, hit the club hard. Mervyn Westfield and Danish Kaneria were teammates in 2009 when Kaneria, an experienced Pakistan Test cricketer, persuaded Westfield, a greenhorn fast bowler, to bowl badly during a televised one-day match in return for £6,000 in cash. It took the intervention of the Essex seamer Tony Palladino, who had been shown the money by Westfield after a night out, to finally blow the whistle on a saga that cut right to the soul of the English game. Westfield got four months inside and a lifetime ban, Kaneria too was banned for life (although he continues to claim his innocence in the face of overwhelming evidence). Nobody escaped censure, club included. That was a learning curve for us, Faragher admits. I do regret that it happened. I was disappointed that a young cricketer was sucked in, and Im disappointed that we didnt spot that he was being pulled in. At the time, rightly or wrongly, it never got to the attention of the chairman or myself that something was wrong. When it kicked off it was like, Wow! As a club, you ask yourself questions. Why didnt it get to us? Why didnt anyone feel like they had the confidence or the bravery to come forward? The judders were felt throughout the club. Napier recalls being in India when he was told the news. You feel like youve been let down. No one teaches you how to deal with it. Theyre your teammates and theyve effectively been sold out. And its tough. I dont know why people make those decisions. Its sad for cricket and everybody else, and it does affect a side, and it did. We didnt really perform as a side as we should have done.At least now a system is properly in place. Theres no mobile communications whatsoever. You hand your mobile phones in. Its our duty to hand our phone in, and anyone caught using their phone during a match is in breach of regulations. All thats gone now. These days theres an outbreak of optimism spreading about the place, much of it generated from the chairman. There is something unique and special here! Even Colin Graves will tell you. He said to me, John, dont ever lose what Essex has got. I dont know what it is, but whatever it is, you keep it. Those were some of his first words to me.There are still some hefty challenges to face down, chiefly holding on to their star homegrown talents in the face of big cash offers from richer clubs elsewhere. You can become a feeder county, warns Faragher. Because people recognise the talent that weve brought on here, and they know that were limited with what we can pay our players. We are. Thats a fact. Were not gonna break the bank for anybody. But there are reasons to be cheerful. New attack leader Jamie Porter signed a three-year contract at the end of last season. The brilliant young opener Nick Browne has just penned a new two-year deal, citing his belief in a side that can get up to Division One and win Division One in the next few years, while Tom Westley signed his own two-year extension in February. All are squarely on Englands radar. Some will leave, others will stay, and more will emerge. We cant keep them all! says Napier, who himself is hanging up the boots in September. This remarkably fertile nursery of cricket just keeps on churning out the talent. Nasser, Fletcher, Gooch, Cook! the chairman declares. Its not a bad throw from Essex County Cricket Club, what weve done for English cricket over the years. And there is more to come. There always is.If you want to see what the worlds greatest cricket magazine (and second-best cricket website) looks like, we respectfully implore you to click here. No. http://www.atleticomadridpro.com/Kids-Gelson-Martins-Jersey/ . 4 Washington might still have critics because of its strength of schedule. USC has doubters, too, unable to break into the Associated Press poll, despite a five-game winning streak. Each team will have its chance for a major statement Saturday in Seattle. In what looks to be the biggest game of the week in college football -- ESPNs College GameDay will be there to preview the 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff -- the matchup will have big implications for the national and Pac-12 races. The Huskies (9-0 overall, 6-0 Pac-12) enter the weekend coming off a 66-27 victory at Cal. USC (6-3, 5-2 Pac-12) handled Oregon 45-20, holding the Ducks to 288 total yards, their lowest total since 2009. The Trojans are No. 20 in the College Football Playoff rankings.USC is right back to USC, said Washington coach Chris Petersen. You just watch the tape. Two of the best young quarterbacks in the country will face off for the first time.Washington sophomore Jake Browning, with his six-touchdown performance against the Bears, boosted his passer rating to a national-best 202.79.That puts him on track to break the 5-year-old FBS record of 191.78, set by Wisconsins Russell Wilson in 2011. Browning has thrown 34 touchdown passes and only three interceptions. He has 2,273 passing yards and a 67.7 completion percentage.Browning already owns Washingtons single-season record for touchdown passes and is on pace to break Jared Goffs Pac-12 record of 43, set last season.Great quarterbacks always have great decision-making, timing and accuracy, said USC coach Clay Helton. Thats what you see from the kid. His touchdown-to-interception ratio is incredible.USCs season turned when Helton inserted redshirt freshman Sam Darnold as his starting quarterback in the fourth game. That was a 31-27 loss to the Utes, who scored in the final minute, but the Trojans have ripped off five in a row since then, winning four by at least 21 points.Darnold is ranked seventh nationally -- and first among freshmen -- in passer rating with a mark of 168.1. He has completed 146 of 215 passes for 1,874 yards, with 20 touchdowns and four interceptions. Like Browning, his mobility keeps defenses honest and opens up the field for a great supporting cast.Hes not really a freshman when you look at how many games hes played now and the things hes seen, Petersen said.Hes doing a really good job. You couple that with the receivers, and its like, Whos that? Whos that? Whos that? Youve got five or six guys, and I think their hard decision is trying to figure out who should get the ball the most, the tailback or receivers. The quarterbacks arent even eligible for the 2017 draft, and neither are the two main tailbacks -- Washingtons Myles Gaskin (952 yards, eight touchdowns) and USCs Ronald Jones II (393 yards in the past two games). They are second-year sophomores. These teams are so loaded otherwise that they combine for 12 of the top 136 prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft, according to NFLDraftScout.com.Here are two big-time matchups in the passing game: Washington receiver John Ross III (14 touchdown receptions) vs. USC cornerback Adoree Jackson, and, on the other side, USC receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster vs. Washington corners Sidney Jones and Kevin King.Ross and Jackson are dynamic in the return game, too.Up front, USC tackles Chad Wheeler and Zach Banner -- deemed to be top 100 prospects -- have to handle a pair of top 100 defensive line prospects in Vita Vea and Elijah Qualls, among other Husky standouts the line. For the fifth game in a row, I thought the offensive line set the tone, Helton said after his offense gashed the Ducks for 270 rushing yards. The holes they were creating, a good running back can go a long way.Said Petersen: This (USC) offensive line is really, really good. Really good. And I dont say that a lot.The true strength of Washingtons defense -- which is 11th nationally in points allowed at 17.0 points per game -- is its secondary, led by Budda Baker. The Huskies allow just 5.6 yards per pass attempt, the fifth-best mark in the country. While Washington is playing for a spot in the College Football Playoff, USC needs a win to stay competitive in the Pac-12 South. They are a half-game behind Colorado (5-1) and a half-game ahead of Utah (4-2). USC holds a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Buffaloes. The Trojans likely would need too much help to win the division if they lost to Washington or UCLA to end the conference season.Im glad were playing at home, Petersen said. Itll be a heck of a game. http://www.atleticomadridpro.com/Kids-Diego-Costa-Jersey/ . Robredo, ranked No. 16, bounced back from an upset loss to Leonardo Mayer in the second round of the Royal Guard Open in Chile last week to down Carreno Busta in 1 hour, 25 minutes. On a day filled mostly with qualifying matches, fifth-seeded Marcel Granollers of Spain also entered the second with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 win over Aljaz Bedene of Slovenia, while Guido Pella of Argentina defeated Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 7-6 (6), 6-4 to advance. http://www.atleticomadridpro.com/Kids-Stefan-Savic-Jersey/ . Still, Brewers manager Ron Roenicke thought taking him out before the fifth inning was an unusual move. "Im looking up at the board and hes got two hits given up and one run, and Im taking him out after the fourth inning," Roenicke said. http://www.atleticomadridpro.com/Kids-Thomas-Lemar-Jersey/ . On Saturday night, the normally free throw-challenged centre did just that. Howard scored 18 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, including 13 of 19 free throws in a 2 1/2-minute stretch, and the Houston Rockets beat the Denver Nuggets 122-111. From the top of the NFL to the bottom of the heap, teams are already feeling the pain. From injuries.Key performers are dropping like theyve been through two months of the season, not two weeks. The latest: Adrian Peterson , Jimmy Garoppolo, DeMarcus Ware, Josh McCown , Danny Woodhead , Jonathan Stewart and Arian Foster. The Patriots, perhaps the leagues best team, appear to be down to their third QB. The Browns, possibly the NFLs worst team, are working on No. 3, rookie Cody Kessler. Most worrisome, though, is Peterson, the 2012 league MVP and Minnesotas cornerstone on offense who has a torn meniscus in his right knee.He has remarkable recovery skills -- Peterson tore the ACL in his left knee in the second-to-last game of the 2011 season, then played all of 2012 and rushed for more than 2,000 yards. But this is four years later, its the other knee and he was unable to put pressure on his leg as he hobbled off the field. Then Peterson needed help getting to the locker room.He was on crutches after the game, wearing a brace on his right leg. Coach Mike Zimmer said Monday that the team is exploring all options.Usually, a torn meniscus requires several weeks of rehab before a player can return to the field.Garoppolo hardly is a star, with two pro starts on his resume. But he sure was doing a nice imitation of Tom Brady while the four-time Super Bowl champion is serving his four-game Deflategate suspension. Now Jimmy Gs immediate future is in doubt after taking a monstrous hit from Miami linebacker Kiko Alonso on a second-quarter pass play. Garoppolo barely was able to move his shoulder as he walked off the field. As usual, Patriots coach Bill Belichick isnt supplying much info on his third-year quarterback, saying only the team will take a day-to-day approach. Rookie Jacoby Brissett finished off the win. This game is a 100 percent injury rate, Patriots receiver Julian Edelman said. Its football and everyones just gotta do their job a little bit better.Cleveland lost starting quarterback Robert Griffin III last week with a shoulder problem. Now McCown is plagued by the same kind of hurt, though he finished Sundays 25-20 loss to Baltimore.Unable to lift his left arm after the game, McCown said he planned to play next week at Miami. Sorry: On Monday, Browns coach Hue Jackson said the sprained shoulder meant Kessler would start instead of McCCown at Miami. Custom Atletico Madrid Jerseys. Well find out a lot about him this weekend, Jackson said of Kessler, a third-round draftee in April.Denvers superb defense isnt anchored by the 34-year-old Ware, but hes an important component. The linebacker/pass rush specialist broke his right forearm against Indianapolis and will require surgery Tuesday that will sideline him for four to five weeks.Ware missed all but the final few days of training camp to protect his back, which kept him out of five games last season.Losing Ware isnt a deal breaker for the Broncos, but the defending champions recognize their defense must stay strong and deep for them to contend again.Of the three significant injuries to running backs, Woodheads was the worst, a torn right ACL. The versatile Chargers sparkplug was taken off the sideline on a cart with an apparent right knee issue, and on Monday was placed on injured reserve. In their opener, the Chargers lost top wideout Keenan Allen for the year. Philip Rivers could be without two of his most dependable sidekicks, although its helped San Diego that 2015 first-round pick Melvin Gordon has emerged at running back.Miamis Foster went down with a groin injury. He already was struggling with a hamstring issue and is coming off surgery to repair his Achilles tendon.Stewart, Carolinas workhorse back, was hurt in the Super Bowl and it damaged the Panthers attack in February. Although coach Ron Rivera claims his team is deep at the position, Stewart is a mainstay. If his hamstring injury is a major one, its a blow to the NFC champs. As Edelman said, injuries are unavoidable in pro football. Often, the healthiest team when winter hits winds up playing for and probably walking off with the Lombardi Trophy. Most troubling, though, is when the injury bug hits so soon. Many a teams talented roster has been torn asunder by a lack of health, including Baltimore and Dallas a year ago. Its important, yet difficult, to avoid thinking that if September is so hurtful, what will the rest of the schedule be like? But the approach has to be a positive one, even when untested quarterbacks are calling signals and Hall of Fame-caliber running backs are hobbled.---AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Cheap NFL Black Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China NFL Jerseys Outlet Cheap NFL Black Jerseys Black China NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys 2020 Cheap NFL Jerseys China Wholesale Black NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Throwback Wholesale Black NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys Wholesale Cheap NFL Black Jerseys Stitched Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Free Shipping ' ' '
