England head coach Eddie Jones has accused Wales of complacency in a damning assessment of their 33-30 victory over Japan. Nike Air Tavas Sale .It took an 80th-minute drop goal from replacement fly-half Sam Davies to defeat the brave blossoms at the Principality Stadium and former Japan coach Jones pulled no punches in his verdict on Rob Howleys men. There will be some tears. The Japanese cry when they win and they cry when they lose, so there will be plenty of tears, Jones said. Its a fantastic result for them and Wales were obviously complacent again. You look at the side Wales put out, they shouldnt be winning by three points against a Japanese team that has seven or eight new caps. And those new caps are coming out of company rugby. You or I could play company rugby. Its not a good result for Wales. Nike Air Max Tn Plus . Hill participated in the teams morning shootaround, which is part of the process of passing his concussion test. But doctors had not yet cleared Hill to play. "He just did some work today. He looked fine, but he has to do more tests this afternoon," coach Frank Vogel said. "Theres a long list of things thats part of the NBAs protocol. Hes in the middle of that process. Hes not ruled out, not cleared to play. Hes a game-time decision." Vogel said he was preparing to play without Hill. Hill scored 26 points Tuesday night in Game 4 after a first-quarter collision with Knicks centre Tyson Chandler. Two days later, after the teams shootaround, Hill was still complaining of headaches. Team doctors then diagnosed him with a concussion, forcing him to sit out Game 5. His replacement, D.J. Augustin, played nearly 39 minutes and had no assists as the Pacers lost 85-75. The win allowed New York to climb back within 3-2 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinals. Indiana gets a second chance to close out the series Saturday at home, where they are 5-0 in the post-season and have won all five games by double digits. Vogel has not said who will start Saturday if Hill does not play. "We prepare for guys to be out. D.J. Augustin, Ben Hansbrough. Lance (Stephenson) understands that he has to play some (point guard)," Vogel said. "Theyve prepared for that all year. . Mentally for those guys, knowing might help them a little bit." The Knicks arent sure what to expect, either. Coach Mike Woodson told reporters Friday that his team was preparing as if Hill would play. At Saturdays shootaround, Woodson explained he wasnt sure what to expect, thhough the Knicks couldnt let that affect them in Game 6. Cheap Nike Air Max Classic BW. "It doesnt matter who plays for them. Weve still got to do what we do. Its about what we do at this particular time," Woodson said. The NBAs protocol states that any player diagnosed with a concussion must be held out of all activities until he is symptom-free at rest and team doctors see no "appreciable" difference between the players baseline test conducted before the season and the test after the injury. Then the player must prove he is symptom-free as the level of exertion increases. Team doctors can determine whether the player passes, a decision that must be discussed with Dr. Jeffrey Kutcher, the NBAs director of the concussion program. The league has not established a timetable for how long players must sit out before returning because each injury is different. Sometimes, the recovery time is quick. Kobe Bryant, for instance, did not miss a game after breaking his nose and being diagnosed with a concussion in February 2012. "I know back in the day I took some blows and you couldve easily called it concussions. But hell, you just played," Woodson said. "Thats the policy and I think its a good policy because, again, this is still a basketball game and youve got to deal with your health. Thats more important." Leaving one looming question: Will the decision about Hill make a difference in this series? "Finding out literally an hour or two hours before the game (Thursday) is a rough spot to put a guy in. For all of us, really," Pacers forward David West said. "We had to change some of the things we were accustomed to doing, take some of Georges stuff out of the package. But again, were prepared. Had a good day yesterday, a good day today. Our focus is where it needs to be." Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys AuthenticWholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

We stood on the deck of the white ocean liner as it slid out of the dock in Bombay. Herr Adidas NMD Chukka Suede Skor Marin/Vit . In silent fascination we stared at the Gateway of India, where an emperor had once landed to proclaim his possession of the brightest jewel in the crown, the glorious monument erected for his majestic entrance now a sad, receding landmark of our exit from the subcontinent. The ship eased past the fishermens boats and the ferry coming in from Elephanta Caves and headed out to what, in my boyish imagination, was Ali Babas magical ocean, the Arabian Sea. Also among the crowd on the deck where I stood with my parents were four famous cricketers and I threw unbelieving glances at them to confirm they were really there, an excited vibration bubbling through my blood at my luck not just to be watching them from beyond the boundary but to be sailing to England with them as my companions.Three of the cricketers were Indians: BB Nimbalkar, who had come close to beating Don Bradmans world record when he scored 443 not out in a Ranji Trophy match three years earlier; Gul Mohammad, known for once pulling a six that went chest high all the way into the stand at square leg; and Indias foremost allrounder, Vinoo Mankad. It was March 1952, and a month later the English cricket season was to begin with India that summers visiting team. These three had not been selected to play for India and were going to play for clubs in the Lancashire League, a lucrative refuge for international cricketers at a loose end. A similar professional arrangement in Australia attracted English players during the southern summer, and one such was the fourth cricketer on board, Jim Laker.Serenely, as if gliding on a mirror of the sea, the SS Stratheden slid out of Bom Bahia, the Good Bay, that was once a proud Portuguese possession before they presented it to the English as dowry in a royal alliance. The island of Bombay sank behind us, a haze fell over the Malabar coast, India receded. And then all is blue and sunny in the recollections of the next fortnight that flash in my mind. As for how it happened and what we talked about, over 60 years later I have no memory. But even before we stopped in Aden four days later, I was friends with the four cricketers, playing deck quoits with Laker and Mankad, and chatting with Nimbalkar and Gul in the bar. We were together in a group when the ship docked in Aden and Marseille, and we went ashore. Gul never seemed to leave the bar, and the sharp image of him - of his round face and short, straight black hair with its side parting, head bent with his eyes fixed on the glass of beer - has not lost a single pixel all these years later; a sad image, which alternates in my mind with those from a match I watched him play at the Brabourne Stadium.Paying their own fare, the four cricketers were travelling second class, and I heard that the entire West Indies team, which had completed the 1951-52 tour of Australia, was on board the SS Stratheden in first class. I had seen them play at the Brabourne Stadium when they toured India in 1948-49, the towering Clyde Walcott, maroon cap on his head, grinning after a back-footed shot straight past the bowler, and Everton Weekes square-cutting with ferocious power on his march to a fifth consecutive Test century. Unbelievably, here they all were, even Sonny Ramadhin and Alf Valentine, those little pals of mine, and its still impossible to mention their names without hearing that song and doing a happy little jig. To see them, all I needed was to slip into the ships forbidden first-class territory, not too difficult a project for the chameleon capabilities of a 17-year-old boy.And there they were, some eight or nine of them lying in deckchairs scattered on the immaculately painted deck. I stared in awe at each and, with palpitating heart, wondered if I dare approach them for autographs, but did not, largely because I did not want to be noticed by the ships staff. I stayed long enough to satisfy my curious eyes and withdrew. The picture has remained like a vivid dream for over 60 years, though only as a general composition of bodies on a deck without a particular identification, as if arranged there by way of a modern art installation, lying limply resigned to the seemingly unending months-long voyage.T he 1952 English season began soon after we arrived in early April. Being among the earliest immigrants after the dissolution of the Empire, our racial identity made us conspicuous among the native English. When I enrolled in a grammar school in London at the start of the summer term, as the only brown-skinned boy in a sea of pink bodies, it was neither unnatural nor surprising that I should be the object of mockery and insults. But not for long. Come the games afternoon for the senior boys, the cricket master saw me with the bat, and within weeks I was opening the innings for the 1st XI, and before the term ended Id won the respect of the whole school. In the meanwhile the Indian team arrived for their tour and I went to see a traditional friendly opener, on a dull, blustery day at the end of April, against an Indian club in Osterley. It was more of a social event where some of the English press got to know the tourists. Mankad had originally been left out by the selectors and had gone to play in the Lancashire League. Soon after the tour began, however, there was a resolution to whatever the problem had been, and Mankad was back. The warm, friendly person whom Id called Vinoo bhai when playing deck quoits was the soul of India when they played England at Lords. The Test was also memorable for Godfrey Evans scoring 98 in one pre-lunch session, and for the young Peter May and Tom Graveney showing promise of greatness to come, but Mankad dominated. England commenced their second innings and when the captain, Vijay Hazare, called on Mankad to open the bowling, I remember him squatting near the bowling crease and rubbing the new ball in the grass to take the shine off.Fred Trueman, the rising English star, overwhelmed the tourists that summer, his speed intimidating two of their principal batsmen, Pankaj Roy and Polly Umrigar, into pathetic submission. By the end of the season Trueman had established himself as the English spearhead, soon to be partnered by the elegant Brian Statham. Over the coming seasons, it would be a thrill to see this muscular and stocky figure, his black hair bouncing, come tearing down one end like a bull. At the other was the slim, tall Statham, quiet, taking off like a predator in the forest, his feet doing a smooth shuffle and gathering pace before a little leap with the ball held high above his head, the right arm straight and the left elbow aimed at the batsman, and then the final stride and full swing of the arm for delivery. On wickets that did not favour speed, the ball was handed to Laker, who licked his fingers at the start of his short run and kept a poker face as he imparted deceptive flight, and to his inseparable fellow spinner, the balding Tony Lock. After the Old Trafford Test against Australia in which Laker took 19 wickets, a television crew filmed him driving back to London, his face not betraying the slightest emotion, as if nothing had happened. He had fulfilled his duty, done his best for England and that was all; in those days there was none of the celebratory jumping for joy and hugging of team-mates each time a wicket fell. After finishing school, where I was the cricket captain for two seasons and played as opening batsman and wicketkeeper, I spent the second half of the 1950s at a university where I read and wrote poetry. Aged 24 in 1959, I graduated with a mediocre degree. But Id begun to publish poems and essays, and in that England of 1960, when coloured immigrants were discriminated against for all but menial service jobs, I had the curious distinction of being turned down for every job I applied for but being accepted as a poet. One Sunday, the Observer advertised a position for an assistant sports editor; although I was unqualified, I sent in an application composed in a literary style that caught the eye of Christopher Brasher, the sports editor. He had set the pace for Roger Bannisters record-breaking sub-four-minute mile and then won a gold medal as a steeplechaser at the 1956 Olympics. On reading my letter, Brasher called me for an interview and received me in his office with a warm, friendly welcome; he said that the assistant editors job was out of the question, but was there anything else I could do. I could think of nothing, but said, Your chief cricket correspondent [Alan Ross] is a poet, I am a poet, therefore, I can be a cricket correspondent. Brasher smiled, and said hed try me out. And soon came a Saturday when I was sent to Oxford for my first county cricket assignment.A year later, led by Ted Dexter, the MCC boarded a Pakistan International Airlines flight to Karachi for its 1961-62 tour of Pakistan and India, and I went with them as the Observers correspondent, sitting next to the England batsman Bob Barber in the window seat of a Boeing 707. It was not a memorable tour and was, in fact, entirely forgettable. Englands most successful batsman, Ken Barrington, of the flawless technique and zero style, accumulated runs as though they had to be stolen like a squirrel gathering nuts, and was tiresome to watch.Dexter, who was expected to thrill with his dazzling style, had the occasional brilliant moment but was largely disappointing. None of the bowlers made a mark, and the general performance of the two home teams in Test after Test required protracted patience from the spectators. These were the kind of boring and irrelevant Tests that created the climate for the popularity of one-day internationals. It was the end of a dull, waning period, the end of an era before the one that would colourfully speed up the game and impart a forced excitement.Back in London after the tour, I found that my reports in the Observer had made me a familiar name, and I received invitations to play in celebrity matches starring some famous retired cricketers who wrote weekly columns for the Sunday papers. I had the pleasure of keeping wicket to Learie Constantine, then in his 60s, who, some years before I was born, had been the earliest of the West Indians to have impressed the colonising power that one of its subjects was an equal match. A gleam in his eyes, he tossed the ball up and had the batsman and me mesmerised as we watched it float through the air, wondering which way it would turn. At the other end, I stood up to an even more cunning spinner, Richie Benaud. It felt strange fixing my eyes on him from behind the stumps. A decade or so earlier I had seen Benaud establish himself as a leading allrounder in a Test at Lords - his demeanour boyishly eager then - and here he was, no longer boyish but mature and relaxed and yet sharply athletic, confounding me with his disguised spin.In the same match another Australian, Jack Fingleton, was the principal batsman in our side. He was at the crease when a wicket fell and I was next man in. Naturally, as a young amateur, I was eager to impress my celebrated peers, and so carefully defended a couple of balls to get my eye in. That didnt please Fingleton, who, in his turn, was eager to demonstrate to the crowd that he was still the great batsman he had been in his youth. To his irritation, a chance single saw me facing the next over, leaving him again at the bowlers end. As the Cambridge mathematician GH Hardy once said, cricket is a game you play against 11 players of the opposing team and ten of your own. But Id qualify that by saying that cricket is also a game in which you sincerely applaud a brilliant stroke or a fine delivery regardless of who executes it. And so, with Fingleton beginning to fume that he was not getting the strike, I stepped forward and executed a perfect off drive. Fingleton came running down and we were about to cross when, turning his head, he saw the ball cross the boundary. Though naturally frustrated not to get the strike, he said, Good shot and walked back to the non-strikers end. Another great cricketer was in London that season, Frank Worrell, writing a weekly column for the Observer. That made him a colleague of the other reporters, whereupon one of them, Clement Freud, had the idea of arranging a match so that we could say - as I am doing now - that wed played with Frank Worrell. We played against a club in Brighton on a pitch that had seen much action earlier that summer, leaving it with more grainy dust than grass. Winning the toss, we batted first, with me opening the innings and Worrell at No. 3. I took guard and faced the first ball. It pitched just short of a length, a very ordinary delivery, its only virtue that it was on a straight line. I leaned forward, presenting the full face of a defensive bat. The ball did not bounce and skidded along the grainy dust, slipped past my bat, and hit the off stump.I pulled my bat back, stood up and began the dismal walk to the pavilion. Halfway there, I passed Worrell, gently shaking his head in commiseration as our eyes met. Bad luck, he said and walked on. He went on to score a hundred.Adidas NMD R2 Sverige . Ray McKinnon admits he is under no illusion as to the size of the task he faces in restoring top-flight football to Dundee United next season. Zach Banner Youth Jersey . The former Raith Rovers boss was appointed on a three-year contract last week after Mixu Paatelainens dismissal following relegation to the Championship.McKinnon watched from the stands last Saturday as the Terrors, relying heavily on youth players, beat Kilmarnock 4-2 at Rugby Park to end a miserable season on a rare high note. With the majority of last seasons squad having been told to find new clubs, McKinnon knows he must add to the promising youngsters on view in Ayrshire to have any chance of an immediate return.Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, the 45-year-old said; This is a big challenge for me. Dundee United are a very,  very big club who find themselves in the Championship after a disappointing season so I understand the challenge ahead but its one I am looking forward to.Asked if the expectation of the fans to go straight back up was one he shared, he added: Definitely. Its a goal and we will work extremely hard behind the scenes to get it right on the park and we will be giving it everything we can over the season to do that. Mark Durnan opens the scoring for Dundee United in a 4-2 victory at Kilmarnock But we are not silly enough not to realise how difficult the task ahead is. We are prepared for that and we are looking forward to it.McKinnon, who enjoyed two spells as a player at Tannadice between 1988-92 and 1995-98, admits he may have to change the mind set of the players following such a miserable campaign where they spent almost the entire time at the foot of the table. They have had a really poor season and we need to bounce back from that, he said. The first thing I will do is create an atmosphere where people enjoy coming to work and we can get out there on the training field and try and build momentum in a squad which the fans can be really proud of next season, one hopefully strong enough to put us in contention for the title next season. Putting Indiana in the top spot last week didnt exactly work out well -- not after Tom Creans team went down the road to IPFW and lost, 24 hours after being elevated to No. JuJu Smith-Schuster Steelers Jersey . 1 in the Power Rankings.Power Rankings are compiled primarily by what has happened on the court, and Indiana, as of last week, had the most impressive victory of any top-25 team, a win over Kansas in Hawaii. Now the Hoosiers have the most unimpressive loss, which is why they have fallen out of the top 10.Its a tough call among three teams for the top spot. Kentucky is blowing teams out, albeit against lesser competition (the Wildcats tough portion of the nonconference slate begins in December). Villanova has the most impressive victory of the three, at Purdue. North Carolina won the Maui Invitational with wins over Chaminade, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin. The two surprises -- and a pair of newcomers -- are South Carolina and Butler. Frank Martins Gamecocks knocked off Michigan and Syracuse, while Chris Holtmann and the Bulldogs took down Arizona in Las Vegas.1. Kentucky Wildcats Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 2?The competition hasnt been great, but UK has been routing teams. In fact, the Wildcats have won their first six games by at least 21 points. Its just the third time in school history that has happened. The past two wins -- over Cleveland State and UT Martin -- have come without Isaiah Briscoe (back injury).2. Villanova Wildcats Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 3Jay Wrights team has won its past three without Phil Booth, who is dealing with a left knee injury. Wright said Booth wont play Tuesday against Penn, the start of Big Five play, but is hopeful he will return against St. Joes on Dec. 3.3.?North Carolina Tar Heels Record: 7-0 Last weeks ranking: 7?The Tar Heels pounded Chaminade, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin to win the Maui Invitational, which bodes well for UNC fans. The past two times Roy Williams has claimed the event, the Tar Heels have won the national title -- in 2005 and 2009.4. Kansas Jayhawks Record: 5-1 Last weeks ranking: 4 Bill Self sent a message to his starting big men, Carlton Bragg and Landen Lucas, following wins over UAB and Georgia. He went with a four-guard lineup in a rout of UNC Asheville, inserting big man Udoka Azubuike for Lucas and guard Lagerald Vick for Bragg. The duo combined for 32 points and 12 boards.5. Duke Blue Devils Record: 6-1 Last weeks ranking: 5 Were seven games into Dukes season, and weve yet to see the frosh trio of Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum and Marques Bolden. But it was irrelevant in routs of William & Mary and Appalachian State.6. Xavier Musketeers Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 8The Musketeers had never played Northern Iowa before and wound up playing them twice in one week. The first was a win in the title game of the Tire Pros Invitational in Orlando, and the latest was a resounding 64-42 victory at the Cintas Center. Chris Mack is starting to get much-needed depth with the return of versatile forward Kaiser Gates.7. Gonzaga Bulldogs Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 9Sophomore guard Josh Perkins shined for the Zags in their run to the championship of the Advocare Invitational. Perkins had 18 in the win over Florida and was 3-of-6 from beyond the arc in the victory over Iowa State.8. Baylor Bears Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 12Scott Drew just finished beating Louisvilles Rick Pitino, Michigan States Tom Izzo and VCUs Will Wade to win the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. Add a victory over Oregon, and the Bears have as impressive a résumé thus far as any team in the country.9. Louisville Cardinals Record: 5-1 Last weeks ranking: 6Pitinos team blew a 22-point lead against Baylor in the championship game at the Battle 4 Atlantis and wound up losing to the Bears. The Cardinals starting perimeter trio of Donovan Mitchell, Quentin Snider and Deng Adel is 20-of-90 (32 percent) from 3 thus far.10. Creighton Bluejays Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 10 Greg McDermotts team is the only one that has shot at least 50 percent in every game this season. Talented redshirt freshman Justin Patton leads the way, having made 31 of 40 shots from the field for a 78 percent clip.11. UCLA Bruins Record: 7-0 Last weeks ranking: 17Freshman Lonzo Ball is the best passer in the country, but its still Bryce Alford who takes the big shot, as shown when he delivered the dagger in a win over Texas A&M to claim the Wooden Legacy on Sunday night.12. Indiana Hoosiers Record: 4-1 Last weeks ranking: 1Tom Creans team got dropped by a Summit League team. Indiana had OG Anunoby for only 13 minutes due to illness, but thats no excuse for losing to the Mastadons, even in Fort Wayne.13. Saint Marys Gaels Record: 5-0 Last weeks ranking: 11The Jock Landale show continues. The junior Australian was 18-of-21 from the field in a pair of wins over UAB and San Jose State.14. Purdue Boilermakers Record: 5-1 Last weeks ranking: 14 The Boilermakers made 37 of 75 (49 percent) 3s the past three games -- wins over Utah State, Auburn and NJIT. Sophomore big man Caleb Swanigan has four straight double-doubles, tied for the most in a row since Glenn Big Dog Robinson back in 1993-94.15. Virginia Cavaliers Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 15 The Cavaliers defense has been ridiculous thus far, allowing an average of 41.3 points through the first six games. Senior guard London Perrantes was the MVP of the Emerald Coast Classic after wins over Iowa and Providence.16. South Carolina Gamecocks Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: NRThe Gamecocks posted back-to-back wins over top-25 teams for the first time since 2008-09 by beating Michigan and Syracuse. South Carolina held Michigan to 46 points and Syracuse to 50.17. Florida Gators Record: 6-1 Last weeks ranking: 19?The Gators were just 2-of-19 from 3 in the loss to Gonzaga. They are shooting a putrid 29 percent from beyond the arc this season.18. Butler Bulldogs Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: NRThis is the third straight year the Bulldogs have knocked off a top-10 team. It was North Carolina in 2014 in the Bahamas, Purdue last season in the Crossroads Classic and, this time, Arizona to win the Las Vegas Invitational.19. Wisconsin Badgers Record: 5-2 Last weeks ranking: 21The two losses have come at Creighton and in Maui against a top-five North Carolina team. In the two setbacks, the duo of Bronson Koenig and Nigel Hayes is 7-of-34 from beyond the arc.20. Rhode Island Rams Record: 5-1 Last weeks ranking: 23Hassan Martin is heating up, with a career-high 31 against Belmont, but E.C. Matthews has cooled off lately after a sizzling start. Matthews, who missed nearly all of the past season with a torn ACL, has averaged just 7.5 points per game the past two contests after making 72 percent of his shots through the first three games.21. USC Trojans Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: 25The Trojans were picked seventh in the Pac-12 preseason poll -- and depth could be an issue. For now, Andy Enfields team is healthy and talented.22. Iowa State Cyclones Record: 5-1 Last weeks ranking: NRThe Cyclones came back from an 18-point deficit against Gonzaga and had a chance to win the game, but were unable to get a shot off on the final possession. Deonte Burton is a tough mismatch. He finished with a career-high 29 points in the loss.23. Notre Dame Fighting Irish Record: 6-0 Last weeks ranking: NRIts the third-best start in the Mike Brey era for the Irish, and guys such as?Matt Farrell and Matt Ryan have made sure the Irish, who lost Demetrius Jackson and Zach Auguste off last years team, havent missed a beat.24. San Diego State Aztecs Record: 3-1 Last weeks ranking: NRBoth Malik Pope and Max Hoetzel made their season debuts in the win over Cal after missing the first three games, including the loss at Gonzaga. The pair combined for 25 points and a dozen boards.25. Oklahoma State Cowboys Record: 5-1 Last weeks ranking: NRSure, the Cowboys got blasted by UNC, but the Tar Heels are a top-five team. Jawun Evans is arguably the best guard in the country, and Oklahoma State has knocked off UConn and Georgetown.Dropped out: Syracuse Orange, Arizona Wildcats, Oregon Ducks, Michigan Wolverines, West Virginia Mountaineers, Seton Hall Pirates James Conner Steelers Jersey . 1, meaning problems for the doping controls at both major international sports events next year. ESPN. Marlon Humphrey Womens Jersey .com caught up with Jamaican track star and nine-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt, who visited the ESPN campus in Bristol, Connecticut, on Friday. Here are some snippets from the conversation:Question from ESPN.com: Youve mentioned many times over the past few months that the Rio Olympics will be your last Olympics. So, still the same? No Tokyo?Answer from Usain Bolt: No, definitely not. Rio would be my last Olympics.Q: Will the IAAF 2017 World Championships in London be your last hurrah?A: Thats what I keep saying, but my coach keeps telling me not to say that because he wants me to continue [to compete] because he thinks I can do more if I want. He says, Wait until the end of the season to decide, but I really want to retire after [the season].Q: What do you want to do after you retire?A: I have a lot of things in the pipeline right now. One of the main things is to do as much around track and field as possible, because I think the sport needs the help to continue to motivate athletes. Also, in Jamaica, through my foundation, I want to develop a clinic for the younger kids so, when they get injured, it can be cheaper [to get treatment], and help them get off to a better start to go to the professional level.Q: How much have the recent doping scandals, with the recent developments in Russia leading into Rio and track overall, affected the accomplishments of elite athletes?A: I think its rough for sports in general. I always say, you have to get to the worst to get better, and I think the IAAF [International Association of Athletics Federations] and WADA [World Anti-Doping Agency] are doing a good job now in cleaning up the sport. This is why it is so bad at this point, but now, because they are so aggressive with what they are doing ... Yes, its bad, but its a good thing they are actually doing this so the sport can get into a better light in the near future.Q: What role do you play in that process?A: I will try to stay as close to the sport [as I can], because Ive already proved you can do it clean. If I can stay [involved] with the sport, we can find different ways to motivate people and preach to them and explain to them that all they need is dedication to the sport.Q: What is your take on the conversation that is happening right now in this country around Colin Kaepernick and the recent protests?A: Everyone has the right to their own opinion. If you feel strongly about something and you want to voice your opinion, I feel its your right, so, thats how I look at it because thats how life is.Q: Is that something you will get involved in, before or after retirement?A: No, for me, I stay as far away from politics as possible, or any controversy. I try to live my life to the best, but I just always preach that you should just work hard and do your best ... I try to stay as far away from that as possible.Q: Who is the next Usain Bolt?A: Its hard to say, but I hope its going to be a Jamaican. Yohan Blake has proven himself that he can be great, so I hope he can be that person. ... Andre De Grasse is going to be a great contender, but like I said, I hope its going to be a Jamaican [smiles]. But De Grasse is going to be a great athlete.Q: Who is the best Olympian of all time?A: I would love to go with me [laughs]. Theres a lot of great Olympians, but for me, I try to prove myself as one of the best -- and thats the key thing. I want to be one of the greatest athletes ever to live, not only in track and field, but in all of general sport.Q: Would you trade in all of your Olympic gold medals for a chance to play for Manchester United in a Premier League match?A: No, no, I couldnt do that. ... Its a lot of hard work to get nine Olympic [gold] medals! I couldnt do that. No. Its tempting, but no.Q: Favorite meal? And not necessarily an in-training meal.A: My favorite thing is always wings. That is my guilty pleasure.Q: How many wings did you eat after the Olympics were over?A: I actually had nuggets and mostly Asian food when I was at the Olympics [laughs]. But as soon as I got back to Jamaica, or when I was in London, I had a lot of wings. That was the first thing I asked for -- Hey, get me some wings. Marlon Humphrey Ravens Jersey . According to a report from the Vancouver Province, the Lions are expected to replace former DC Rich Stubler with defensive backs coach Mark Washington.Tyus Bowser Jersey . The 17-year-old native of Marystown, N.L., pulled out of Skate Canada International last month in Saint John, N.B., with the same problem.http://www.ravensauthoritystore.com/Authentic-Nico-Siragusa-Ravens-Jersey/ .Y. - Detroit goaltender Jonas Gustavsson has earned NHL first star of the week honours after winning in his first three appearances of the season. When umpire Aleem Dar took his empowerment from technology to the next level, ruling Steve Smith out lbw in the WACA Test even when he was more than 2.5m down the wicket, amid the understandably heated debate, Channel 9s newest recruit and the man most in touch with contemporary cricket for them, Kevin Pietersen, made an astute point. Left-arm spinners bowling to right-hand batsmen and offspinners bowling to left-hand batsmen, Pietersen said, had brought lbws back into the game big time.Miles away, in Asia, the lbw and bowled to spinners - never mind the big turning pitches - have become the slow mens most potent weapon. More so when visiting batsmen face R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja in tandem. It is often said about batting in India that it is all fine until the first one jumps at you and lobs up for a catch. With changing skills and pitches, though, the challenge of batting in India is evolving too. As Ashwin and Jadeja showed against New Zealand, and have indeed been showing for some time now, a batsman has to watch out for those two types of dismissals more than bat-pad catches or edges behind the wicket. It is a trend not limited to Indias fingerspinners: Sri Lankas spinners, led by Rangana Herath, dismantled Australia earlier this year through lbw and bowled dismissals. Over the last five years, the percentage of lbw and bowled dismissals for India spinners have gone up to 43.97 from 37.3 in years 2006 to 2010. The numbers in India have shot up dramatically since 2005: from 31.37% to 47.56% since 2011. Not just the Indian spinners, travelling spinners have benefited too: from 29.71% in the five-year period ending in 2005 to 40.51% since 2011. While the umpires have become more bowler friendly since the advent of DRS - and that effect plays out in non-DRS matches too - the numbers have actually fallen for fast bowlers: from 36.1% from 2001 to 2005 to 32.2% since 2011. This is no secret in the closed world of cricket circles. When Herath and friends were taking half of their 54 Australian wickets either lbw or bowled, the word around the visiting batsmen was: whatever you do, dont get beaten on the inside edge by a bowler meant to take the ball away from you. New Zealands coach Mike Hesson articulated this, and the challenge of batting in India, to ESPNcricinfo. In many ways it is actually natural variation, Hesson said. A lot of times you are actually not trying to bowl a straighter one. Sometimes it just lands on the leather and slides on. Other times it hits the seam and spins. You are obviously able to change the seam angle to have a little bit of control over there, but sometimes it is very accidental. That is the reality of it over here. And when it spins, it is extreme turn. You are just hoping that you play and miss. You need to be able to protect your stumps. If the ball spins past the outside edge, it is okay. We can accept that. You dont want to be beaten on the inside. Thats pretty much everybodys game plan. And around that you need to find ways to score. Iff it slides in, it is often going down. Tyus Bowser Ravens Jersey. . If it turns past the edge then you play and miss. And there is also a lot of balls that turn an abnormal amount. So you are dealing with three things. Thats the challenge of playing in India. Then as the game goes on, uneven bounce comes into play.Thirteen of the 27 lbws and bowleds that Sri Lanka spinners claimed against Australia were to the straighter delivery. New Zealand batsmen did much better when it came to not getting beaten on the inside: only eight of their 22 lbws and bowleds were to straighter deliveries from bowlers meant to take it away from you. Indias spinners showed great skill in finishing on the stumps by still having 22 lbws and bowleds in their 41 wickets; this 53.66% was a rise from 49.18% against South Africa last season.During the warm-ups on the third morning of the series between India and New Zealand, Ravindra Jadeja and coach Anil Kumble stood at the Green Park pitch in Kanpur and chatted. Kumble asked Jadeja to move his line for left-hand batsmen wider. The ball had started to turn appreciably now, and there was considerable rough outside the left-hand batsmens off stump. Kumble wanted Jadejas deliveries to end up on the stumps. Not that Jadeja needed an invitation to do so - he grew up listening to the wicketkeepers and captains shouting pag maan maar [hit the batsman on the foot] - but this has been the coming together of three spinners for India who just want to keep hitting the stumps again and again. It is a skill to bowl deliveries that both hit the batsman in line and go on to hit the stumps on pitches that turn so much.It doesnt translate into as many wickets for visiting spinners because the India spinners are much more accurate, and also because the India batsmen have slightly different techniques. They are adept at staying leg side of the ball, of planting their front foot down along the line of the leg stump and playing the incoming deliveries with their hands. So even when they get their inside edge beaten, because the umpire can see both the off and the middle stump, the ball is generally considered to be going down leg. Visiting batsmen try to get closer to the ball, thus plonking their front foot across and making similar deliveries look like they are hitting the stumps. When Tom Latham showed he was not going to get drawn across, denying Ashwin that lbw, Ashwin gave him the next test by moving over the wicket and successfully played on the outside edge. The drier the pitch, the more the natural variation. The more accurate you are, the more the chance for the natural variation to get you wickets. Thats why India and Sri Lanka spinners have done so well, and have become a mighty challenge for visiting teams. Throw in DRS-empowered umpires who are likely to support the bowlers, and you know how fingerspin has been revived in this post-doosra world. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

TORONTO -- The Toronto Blue Jays expect to make qualifying offers to potential free agents Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion but have yet to decide whether to make the same offer to outfielder Michael Saunders. Custom Phoenix Suns Jersey .In a season-ending news conference Monday, Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said the decision to extend qualifying offers to the sluggers is about as easy a decision as well make. The 33-year-old Encarnacion tied with David Ortiz for the AL lead with 127 RBIs while hitting 42 home runs and batting .263. The first baseman/designated hitter was an All-Star this year for the third time. The 36-year-old Bautista hit 22 homers with 69 RBIs while batting .234 in an injury-slowed season. The outfielder homered twice in the AL playoffs.Bautista (265) and Encarnacion (239) rank second and third behind Carlos Delgado (336) on Torontos career home run list. After Toronto ended a 22-year playoff drought with an AL East title last year, Bautista blasted the Blue Jays into the ALCS with a three-run homer to win Game 5 against Texas, punctuating his shot with a memorable bat flip. This year it was Encarnacions turn, with a three-run drive in the 11th inning to beat Baltimore in the wild-card game. Those guys have had very good careers, have always hit right-handed and left-handed pitchers, and have been a huge part of this organizations success, especially in the last couple of years, Atkins said.Bautista, Encarnacion and Saunders are among nine potential free agents on Torontos roster. The Blue Jays lost in five games to Cleveland in the ALCS, the second year in a row they have lost at that stage of the playoffs.Atkins said Toronto will attempt to reach new contracts with Bautista and Encarnacion in the five days following the World Series, when teams have exclusive negotiating rights with their own free agents. They would definitely be priorities for us, and well look to do everything that we can to take advantage of that window, Atkins said. Thats plenty of time to potentially work something out if its realistic on both ends.Encarnacion signed a three-year, $29 million deal in in 2013 and is coming off a team option at $10 million.Bautista signed a $65-million, five-year deal in 2011. Toronto picked up a $14 million option for 2016.Atkins said the Blue Jays are still pondering what to do with Saunders, who hit a career-high 24 home runs this season and was an All-Star for the first time. Were still working through that one, Atkins said. Its not quite as clear.Saunders was hitting .298 when he won the All-Star final vote spot. HIs average slumped to .253 by the end of the season. The price of a qualifying offer this year is $17.2 million. The offer can be made through the fifth day after the World Series, and a player has a week after that to accept. If a team makes a qualifying offer to a player who signs a major league contract with another club before the June amateur draft, his former club receives a draft pick as compensation at the end of the first round.None of the 34 qualifying offers was accepted in the first three years of baseballs current collective bargaining agreement, but Colby Rasmus (Houston), Matt Wieters (Baltimore) and Brett Anderson (Los Angeles Dodgers) accepted among the 20 players who received offers last winter.Torontos remaining free agents include right-hander Joaquin Benoit, left-hander Brett Cecil, right-hander R.A. Dickey, right-hander Scott Feldman, right-hander Gavin Floyd, and catcher Dioner Navarro.Right-hander Jason Grilli has a $3 million club option for 2017. Atkins called Grillis option seemingly as near to a no-brainer to pick up as you can get.Toronto still controls closer Roberto Osuna, AL ERA leader Aaron Sanchez and four other starters from the rotation that posted a league-low 3.64 ERA.Were fortunate that we have five starting pitchers returning that we feel good about because that area of the market seems to not quite as strong as some other areas, Atkins said. The areas that we are going to be looking to fill, there seem to be some numbers there.Atkins said discussions have begun on an extension for manager John Gibbons, who will be in the final season of a two-year contract in 2017.All of Torontos coaches will return in 2017 with the exception of assistant hitting coach Eric Owens. He had been with the Blue Jays since the beginning of the 2015 season. Dan Majerle Jersey . -- Teemu Selanne scored the first goal of his 22nd NHL season, and the Anaheim Ducks extended the best start in franchise history with their fifth straight victory, 3-2 over the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night. Charles Barkley Jersey .500 on the season. The Jets are now 0-5-1 in the second game of back-to-backs. The game started the same way the Vancouver game started the night before, with the Jets taking the first two penalties of the game and killing off the first, but the Oilers getting on the board first, scoring on the second man-advantage. http://www.basketballsunsauthority.com/jason-kidd-suns-jersey-c-11/ . Meanwhile, there were huge victories for Sunderland and West Ham over fellow relegation rivals, leaving the battle to avoid the drop up for grabs with the bottom 11 teams separated by just six points. Eden Hazard and Fernando Torres scored second-half goals to seal a fourth straight victory for Chelsea, which climbed above Arsenal and Manchester City in the standings ahead of their games on Monday and Sunday respectively. INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- Cavaliers forward Kevin Love will miss Tuesdays game in Milwaukee with a bruised left knee.Love didnt practice Monday and Cavs coach Tyronn Lue initially said he was questionable before the team sent out a release saying Love would sit out against the Bucks. Hes questionable for Wednesdays game in Cleveland when the Cavs host the Bucks.Lue said Love banged knees with Los Angeles forward Larry Nance Jr. during Saturday nights win over the Lakers.
