The lineup fell to a team on fire, but they still played up to their own standards. CLGs whimper against Team SoloMid was concerning. They fell apart at the worst possible time and a week may not be enough for a full rejuvenation. Look for consistent dominating lane phases from Immortals due to Reignovers well-timed rotations and a snowball victory.H2K against Unicorns of LoveFor H2K, this is still a high-stakes matchup. With Worlds consideration and points on the line, it borders on a must-win situation. However, last weeks loss to Splyce was an eye-opener. H2K lost even though it played the way it intended to operate: slowly and meticulously. Every game, with the exception of the last one, was a grind to control objectives and secure map control and H2K still lost the set. Not only that, but H2K lost to a snowballing Gnar twice.Unicorns of Love (UoL) played well last week against G2 Esports. The team traded leads and played strong when the set started, but crumbled when the pressure was at its peak. If not for a rather fortunate Baron steal in game 1, UoL would have been the team with an overwhelming 2-0 lead and the potential to be a finalist for the European LCS. But it was not meant to be and the Unicorns are now slated for the consolation series against H2K.This set may be a coin flip. H2Ks loss in a matchup and pace that favored it is a huge red flag and UoLs strong showing against arguably the best team in Europe was encouraging. However, H2Ks raw talent should never be discredited and UoLs overreliance on early momentum means victory sometimes flies out of reach. Calculated for batsmen in the top five in a batting line-up, the corresponding average wicket value for Broad is 15.19, which means on average, he dismisses a top-five batsman averaging 50 for 35. Among all bowlers who have taken at least 100 top-five wickets, only three - Glenn McGrath, Fred Trueman and Steyn - have a higher difference. Thats good for 5.13 yards per carry. From 2010 until 2014, he averaged 5.42 yards per rush. We have come to expect, and failed to appreciate, his consistent rushing production.Theres no other way to explain how anyone would expect West, who averaged 3.96 yards per attempt on 160 rushes last year, would be a true threat to Charles. He scored the same amount of rushing touchdowns on more than double the carries (meaning fewer touchdowns per rushing attempt). (Now compare these figures with his top-five standing in fantasy points per game referenced earlier.)And he has proven that he can flourish in low-volume situations before. His breakout season in 2009 afforded Charles just 230 touches in 15 games, on which he scored eight touchdowns and totaled more than 1,400 yards. And now that Bell is facing a suspension, there are even fewer proven commodities at the running back position with the upside Charles possesses.If his floor in a 16-game season is the volume from his 15-game debut in 2009, hes currently being drafted at his floor as the sixth or seventh back off the board in ESPN leagues. And in other league formats on other sites, hes going even later, while many analysts say hes not an RB1, and some claim hes not even an RB2.His ceiling is being the top fantasy running back, as my early projections using ESPN standard scoring have him with the most points of all players at the position. Theres risk and reward to consider, but theres no reason for Charles to fall outside of the top 10 in drafts or the top five at his position.
