The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday announced that Shakib Al Hasan will lead the Tigers (Bangladesh team) in the first match slated for April 17 .

Chief selector Faruk Ahmed made the announcement at a press briefing in the city on Wednesday.

Shakib will lead Bangladesh for the first ODI as Captain Mashrafe Mortaza is not in a position to play the match.

Pakistan, which is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on April 13, will play three ODIs, two Tests and a T20 during the tour to Bangladesh.
