CANBERRA [url=http://www.fentypumashoes.com/]Puma Sneakers Shoes[/url] , Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Australia's Employment Minister Michaelia Cash has on Thursday welcomed fresh statistics which show full-time employment in Australia has increased for the 11th straight month, something she attributed to the government's "comprehensive economic plan".

On Thursday, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released its latest employment data, showing that a further 22,000 gained full-time employment in August, while a further 6,000 people gained part-time employment.

According to ABS's chief economist, Bruce Hockman, an increase in full-time jobs had been the strongest proponent behind overall employment growth over the last year.

"Full-time employment has now increased by around 253,000 persons since August 2016, and makes up the majority of the 307,000-person increase in employment over the period," Hockman said in a statement on Thursday.

In a separate media release, also published on Thursday, Michaelia Cash said that employment remains at record high levels.

"ABS Labour force figures for August show employment has increased for the eleventh consecutive month, demonstrating the underlying strength in the labour market and highlighting the success of the (federal) government's comprehensive economic plan," Cash said.

But while the government has been quick to laud the release of the statistics, Hockman said underemployment remained at "historically high" levels for the third-consecutive quarter.

"The underemployment rate is an important indicator of the spare capacity of workers in Australia, and it has remained at 8.7 percent, a historical high, for the third consecutive quarter," Hockman said.

The ABS release also showed that employment levels for both male and female workers were at record highs, with female employment increasing by 146,800 since the start of the year - something the government said was the largest increase in the first eight months of a calendar year on record.

BEIJING, July 27 (Xinhua) -- The Communist Party of China (CPC) must continuously broaden its vision and give a new summation of its theories, President Xi Jinping has said.

Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks at a workshop attended by provincial and ministerial officials from Wednesday to Thursday in Beijing in preparation for the 19th CPC National Congress.

"To unswervingly uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, the CPC must attach great importance to the functions of theory, and strengthen its theoretical confidence and strategic composure," Xi said.

As a Marxist political party, the CPC must carry on its tradition of keeping pace with the times and promote theoretical innovation on the basis of practice, Xi said.

The Party must stick to the basic tenets of Marxism and consider major strategic issues faced by the nation with a broader vision and longer perspective, he said.

"Only in this way can we gain initiative in this rapidly changing era," Xi said.

BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- China's central bank said it will tighten regulations on domestic investors' participation in overseas transactions of "initial coin offerings" (ICOs) and virtual currency as risks are still high in the sector.

Overseas ICO transaction platforms pose risks including illegal offerings, false information, fraud and pyramid schemes, according to the People's Bank of China (PBOC).

Regulators warned that domestic investors should be alert to risks and refrain from participating in speculation in virtual currency transactions.

China will take a string of measures to guard against financial risks and maintain stability, according to the PBOC.

"ICOs, in essence, are a kind of unauthorized and illegal public fundraising and are suspected of having ties to criminal activities such as financial fraud and pyramid schemes," according to an earlier statement from the central bank.

Last September, authorities ordered a ban on ICOs and shut down all virtual currency exchanges in the country, as the rapidly expanding market triggered concerns over financial risks.
