Mother claims Jackson begged to sleep with teen
Michael Jackson begged the mother of a teenage boy to allow the kid to share his bed, and the pair spent weeks sleeping in the same bedroom when she relented, jurors at the pop star's child sex abuse trial heard on Monday.
The mother, whose son was at the centre of 1993 molestation allegations against Jackson that were settled out of court, testified that the singer spent weeks at the family's Southern California home forming a close bond with her then 13 year old son.

Jackson was never charged in the 1993 case but the judge in the current trial ruled last month that evidence about it could be presented.
The ruling was a major setback to the pop singer's defence.
Jackson is charged with molesting a different 13 year old boy at his Neverland Valley Ranch, plying the youth with alcohol in order to abuse him and conspiring to commit false imprisonment, child abduction and extortion.
The performer, who has pleaded innocent, faces more than two decades in prison if convicted on all 10 counts.
The mother said on Monday her son was already a fan of Jackson when they happened to meet at her ex husband's car rental office in Los Angeles in mid 1992.
The two quickly established a telephone friendship, which then blossomed to invitations for the family to come to Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch in central California, a trip to Las Vegas, and an invitation for Jackson to visit the family in Santa Monica, a community adjacent to Los Angeles.
The mother said Jackson stayed at her home on more than 30 occasions, sometimes for week or two at a time.
