Dragon Ball Z x adidas is finally here. After a very long wait, the Three Stripes has loaded the Goku and Frieza pairs onto their site for a release later this month.It took adidas nearly eight months to officially confirm the colab's existence, but thankfully there's not much more waiting to go.For the adidas Originals x Dragon Ball Z collaboration, three battles from the Japanese anime series have been reimagined in sneaker form — a sneaker to represent each of the heroes and villains who fought in the battles, plus a kick inspired by Shenron the Dragon.One of those releases is the adidas ZX 500 RM Son Goku edition that comes dressed in the colors of the hero’s signature outfit.

The project between Dragon Ball Z and adidas has largely been a mystery this year.Reports say that the adidas ZX 500 RM “Son Goku” and the adidas Yung-1 Frieza will be making its debut first in September. First leaked during the waning weeks of 2017, the new collection pairs heroes and villains together in shoe form to recreate some of the show’s most famous battles.The collection will officially debut on September 29 with the release of the ZX 500 RM 'Son Goku' and the Yung-1 'Frieza'.It features an Orange upper with Yellow mesh and Navy accents, highlighted with Red laces. While the rollout of the collection was slower than anticipated, adidas has finally dropped a release date for the first matchup between Son Goku and Frieza, arriving at the end of this month.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Semi Frozen ,Themed after Son Goku, this special ZX500’s mesh and suede layers are covered in a bright orange hue. The tongue, stripes, and inner lining come in a deep blue tone, which matches the heel and toe EVA midsole inserts.According to adidas, this debut duo specifically references the epic 20-episode battle between Son Goku and Frieza on the Namek Planet. The latest images reveal DBZ logos on the heels, as well as a cloud-like symbol on the inner side. The medial NMD-like bumper will also feature some sort of writing, as well as a wispy cloud-like symbol on the medial side of each toe.
