Experience Path of Exile 2’s Vision and Currency via U4gm from 's blog

The world Path of Exile 2 lives on is harsh and cruel: forest is full of infected creatures, ruins are full of traps and traps, and the player struggles to survive another hour. Benedictus, First Herald of Utopia is a light in a confusion of dark, but even his idealism can not ignore the practical side of progress: PoE 2 Currency is the blood of progression, and to even be able to approach his dream, players must farm, trade and spend it in a prudent way.

Benedictus is not typical of other NPCs in Path of Exile 2. He is motivated by hope where others are sour, or hanging on to revenge or greed. The title of his book--First Herald--means not just a fancy title, but he is the first to think that utopia is possible. He will give you tales of a pre-corrupted era, of communities coexisting and those tales strike differently when you are knee-deep in monster viscose, your equipment is disintegrating.

Here is one of his first adventures: the recovery of a lost "Utopian Scepter" by a troop of pillagers. It's not just a fetch task. On your way to the raiders, you can hear something through the voice of Benedictus, and how the scepter used to be a symbol of unity. As you give it back he does not give you XP--he gives you a pouch of Currency, as well. It is something worth it, as you are not merely grinding, but you are working on his dream. That is the wizardry of Benedictus: he transforms an ordinary Currency farm to something important.

The conflict of his hope and the brutality of the game is what makes him memorable. You are going to talk to him in a small camp, where he is attending to a wounded wanderer, and then come out and be infested by undead. It is during these times that his utopia is impossible and something to struggle to achieve. And each time you use the Currency that you earned through quests to upgrade your weapon or repair your armour you are not only getting stronger but you are making progress towards being able to live long enough to find out whether his vision can ever be realised.

As you get to the middle of the game, the role of Benedictus does change to motivator. He will talk of greater dangers to his utopia, in the old evils that your improved equipment may not be able to prevent. but he will also tell you that all PoE 2 Currency for sale you win, all trade you transact, is on the way of being prepared. Benedictus provides that progression which interminably seems to exist in a game.
