Additionally, Nations to Watch players don't need to be picked for their national team to get the upgrade. So should Gabriel Jesus somehow doesn't make it into Brazil's squad and his countrymen score victory in Qatar then the Arsenal striker still gets an additional.

It is also important to know that Ones to Watch players do not get upgrades based on other promo cards. So if Tyler Adams gets some sort of wild 90+ card in April as part of an upcoming promotion called Factsmashers or whatever it is, his OTW won't be upgraded accordingly. (Sorry Tyler. If it makes you feel any better, you are in virtually everyone's preorder OTW pack.)

Last year's unusual transfer market manner of operation meant it was not always practical or economical to bring in good promo players to a team, even within a few days of them releasing. This may prove to be the case with FIFA 23 Coins for sale, but for now the best Ones to Watch players are going cost you a significant cost. As they've not received any upgrades It is difficult to advocate spending any money on them.
