"Can BOTOX Make Me Look Younger?"

We receive questions from potential patients who visit our Lenexa location for aesthetic treatments. We asked Dr. Margolin what advice he would give to patients with unrealistic expectations regarding aesthetic treatments. Dr. Margolin told us that he is an M.D. and not a magician. I realize that people naturally want to look their best. Everybody wants to feel and look their best. BOTOX is a temporary treatment for wrinkles and lines. However, these treatments won't give them the look they had in college or their favorite supermodel.

What are the Aesthetic Injectables Treatments?

Dr. Margolin describes aging skin as a piece of paper. The paper will have permanent wrinkles if it is folded in different ways over decades. The same thing happens to our skin! BOTOX, JUVEDERM, and other injectable treatments can temporarily reduce the signs and symptoms of aging. They relax facial muscles and fill in certain areas.

What is BOTOX and How Does It Work?

The treatment reduces the appearance wrinkles by relaxing facial muscle, but it's not as dramatic and drastic as plastic surgery. BOTOX is a treatment that can be used to reduce the appearance of forehead lines or eyebrow creases. This treatment smoothens wrinkles and prevents them forming. BOTOX can't treat wrinkles and lines caused due to loss of facial fullness. JUVEDERM and dermal fillers are used to remedy these problems.

What is JUVEDERM exactly?

Even though it might not seem like this, our face loses fat with age, particularly in the cheek area. Our faces lose fat and our skin sags. The loss of facial volume can also cause laugh lines and other wrinkles.

Difference between JUVEDERM (BOTOX) and JUVEDERM

What is the difference between Juvederm or BOTOX? Both therapies have the same goals, but they have different active components. These non-invasive injections will be administered by a qualified medical doctor. or an experienced medical esthetician. Make the best decision possible by learning about these distinctions

BOTOX

BOTOX is an alternative to invasive forms of wrinkle treatment. However, it contains very different ingredients. BOTOX injections are an injectable neurotoxin. They relax wrinkles and smoothen facial lines. BOTOX treatments smoothen lines and soften wrinkles in the following ways

Juvederm can be used as a non-invasive treatment, and it does not require surgical intervention. To fill in wrinkles under the skin, every solution contains a gel of hyaluronic. What to Expect from BOTOX Treatments and Juvederm Therapy

It takes only a few moments to complete Juvederm and Botox procedures. They are also very efficient. Because there are more injections, it is possible that larger areas of skin will require more treatment.

How long each treatment can last

While both treatments are effective, Juvederm is faster and lasts for longer. BOTOX is effective for a few days but fades after a few weeks. Additional treatments are necessary to maintain your results. The manufacturer may give you an indication that results from Juvederm injections might be visible immediately.

BOTOX injections like Juvederm are quick and painless. The larger the area to be treated, the more you will need. Multiplying will take you a bit longer. The results of BOTOX treatments can take up to 24 hours to see.
