What happens when you combine that with local events? from haoxiuyun's blog

Fergusson: It's interesting. When you play, strongholds are D2R Items in RPG terms, instances where basically it's private. That's why when you're taken into a stronghold, and you decide to free the stronghold, it's a private moment. You go with your group and go to fight. But as soon as you've won, the room transforms to a social area.

Now, as Joe was just saying, it could be the town, it could be a dungeonand it may be a new place to teleport to--but now the others can be the same place. So that's the idea of going through and locating every one of these strongholds in private that are transformed into social space which offer you a chance to guide you through the world -- new gear and a loop of an dungeon, all kinds of things--[is] a fun method of changing the world while playing.

Shely: Local events are dynamic events that happen in all over the world. Therefore, if you're running through the world it's possible that you'll undertake a quest, or perhaps you're going to find an dungeon, or you may come across a local occasion. There are numerous kinds of events that could happen over an extended period of time.

It is possible that you will pass through the same location and find that one time there's an event there and the other time there's no event and the event you'll see may be different too. If you're participating in the event, you can encounter other players who are doing this event at the exact same time, because it is a shared space.

Fergusson A. Fergusson your map and so as you're riding along you'll be able to see, "Oh, there's an celebration, an event that's shared taking place there." So you can go away into it and bring your group along. Then, since it's prominently displayed, other will see it too You can then go and do it together and it's an excellent opportunity because then it has cheap diablo 2 resurrected items an optional feel to it of.
