Players will build the community and take on daily tasks that earn them rewards based on their progress. Anyone who takes part in the event for OSRS Gold community members will be awarded exclusive rewards for the event, such as a new Crocodile pet, a title, outfits with desert themes, and Gators' footwear.

After the two-week-long community event the new space will be named Het's oasis - a space filled with learning and exploration, with new material related to the skills of anyone looking to develop their Hunter, Agility and Farming abilities.

"Heroes will also help the God of Death in two Eye of Het mini-quests as they go to Het's Tomb in search of an enthralling object that will assist the young gods as part of the Elder God Wars saga," the press release reads.

In a new event that runs from now until January 3, 2022 players will have the chance to obtain a brand new version of iconic "Partyhat" that was an accessory that was initially available during a Christmas event way back in 2001. The original version was available in red, yellow, green, blue, purple, or white the RuneScape's "The Golden Party Hat Hunt" quest will give players the chance to unlock one of the highly-sought cosmetics that has a metallic sheen.

The party hats originally only available for a short period of time, and then were subsequently removed, any player lucky enough to own one may sell them for billions of in-game coins. Even though the hats are solely decorative and don't offer stat bonuses, they are one of the highest priced items on the Grand Exchange, hitting the highest price of 2.1billion gold in 2015.

In order to get their hands on the heads of the Golden Party Hat, players must complete "various objectives" and collect eight gold shards in exchange for their Cheap OSRS Gold efforts. After all eight have been earned, they are added to a Golden Party Hat.
