Are You Willing to Trust? - Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles out there, but there should be something that you've hooked into, or caught onto? Something which triggered a transformation or perhaps a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”a course in miracles

“Trust,” I said.

Think of your daily life because it seems to be these days in terms of the story. How do we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I believe my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who's my source?” So whenever we discuss the past stage of the awakening being pure trust, it's simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon most of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. It's kind of like making a big house of cards, stacking using one card after the other. Then a good wind arrives and poof, it's just blown over. It can't even stand only a little gust of wind. It's so frail. It's so temporary. It's so transitory;

It absolutely was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon anything else; dozens of items that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness?

Are they really trustworthy? It surely comes down seriously to the essence of who's my brother? Could it be Spirit or matter? Could it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how many of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried that certain?So you're asking the question, “If someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening can tell you is that everything is mental and that everything is just a hallucination.

This really is a full world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn't reality at all. There's no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to construct his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the text between thought and form. His lessons start out with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I've given everything I see all this is it's for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way up to number 4, “These thoughts don't mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He's discussing thoughts. First He's discussing perception, then about our thoughts, then He returns with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 ... perception, perception, perception, perception, perception ... and then number 10, “My thoughts don't mean anything.” You will see he's trying to melt everything together and show the past veil or stage of awakening, that will be trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time for you to teach us there is no such thing as time, to take us back compared to that timeless moment that is the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us they are all illusions and they are all equally meaningless. That's precisely the approach to operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work with your head to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What sort of things would you invest in, these days?
