The MMORPG will be getting not one but two tablestop versions: a game board game, and a tabletop role playing game. The board game will go live on Kickstarter early in the year, while the tabletop RPG will be available in stores immediately.

Both games will take inspiration from the fantasy world of RuneScape, Gielinor. They will utilize the characters, adventures, and locations that the MMORPG has created a name for over its lengthy history. The board game will send up at most five participants on a campaign based on quests across the land of Gielinor.

In the announcement by Steamforged players can "craft and upgrade equipment and characters, improve their skills, cook special recipes, engage with NPCs and test their skills exploring different regions of the world old school rs gold".
