Surrey 299 for 7 (Roy 120, Onions 4-68) trail Durham 401 (Jennings 201*, Footitt 5-90) by 102 runsScorecard A plucky century by Jason Roy helped Surrey to 299 for 7 in reply to Durhams 401 in the Specsavers County Championship match at Chester-le-Street. Cheap Jason Witten Jersey .In spending 103 balls over his first 50, the England one-day batsman either missed it or middled it. But his second 50 required only 41 balls, with most of his last 20 runs being easy pickings off future team-mate Scott Borthwick. He sat back to clobber a short ball from the legspinner between mid-off and extra cover to reach three figures with his 14th four. But after sharing a third-wicket stand of 164 with Zafar Ansari four wickets went down for 24 runs.Ansari went for a very solid 48 when he edged a drive at Keaton Jennings to slip, then Mark Wood struck with his second delivery with the new ball and Graham Onions with his first.Ben Foakes was lbw when he walked across, looking to turn Wood to leg, and Roy went for 120 when Onions skidded one through to knock him off his feet and claim another lbw verdict.Onions produced another beauty four overs later to claim his fourth wicket, beating Tom Currans forward push to trim his off bail.Durham were twice convinced they had Roy caught behind, but his edges tended to be of the thicker variety, one flying wide of gully when looking to turn the impressive Brydon Carse to leg.He hit Paul Collingwoods first ball just out of short extra covers reach, and on 42 Onions had him in all kinds of trouble.A ball which Roy played into the ground lobbed up and dropped just over the stumps, then he was beaten twice in the same over.Onions also took two wickets in four balls shortly after lunch. He beat Dominic Sibleys forward push on 31 to nick the off stump then nipped one back to have Kumar Sangakkara lbw for 48. In the morning Jennings was left stranded on 201, becoming the seventh player to carry his bat through a Durham innings.Although the fifth batting point was achieved when last man Onions scored the days first seven runs, he then drove a catch to cover to give Mark Footitt his fifth wicket. The only Surrey batsman to fall before lunch was Rory Burns, who was given an uncomfortable time by Wood and fell for 15 when an in-swinger took the inside edge on the way to wicketkeeper Stuart Poynter.Faced with an attack of Wood, Onions, Ben Stokes and the pacy Carse, Sibley played well enough to suggest he wont be the one making way for Mark Stoneman, or Borthwick.Carse, back after a three-month injury absence, posed the greatest threat. He beat Sangakkara twice in his first two overs and remained out of luck as he and Stokes emerged wicketless. Cheap Sean Lee Jersey . The formidable trio of Canadian receivers -- individually known as Chris Getzlaf, Rob Bagg and Andy Fantuz -- will share the field at Mosaic Stadium one more time on Sunday. Cheap Dez Bryant Jersey . This should be celebrated because it will not always be this way. With the amount of money given to players by their clubs these days, it is a wonder that so many of those teams allow the sport to continue to take away many of their assets so they can play for a different team in the middle of their season.http://www.cheapcowboysjerseyselite.com/ . -- Nate Robinson has played for seven teams, so beating one of them is no longer a rare occurrence. LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy walked perfectly the tightrope that comes with playing Kansas. On one hand, he praised the rebuilding job that Jayhawks coach David Beaty has undertaken, and pointed out how closely they played TCU a couple weeks ago. On the other hand, Gundy made it perfectly clear that he expects his Cowboys to win Saturdays game handily. You watch teams play across the country and you see teams that people think are much better than others, and at the end of the game its either a close score or they didnt win, Gundy explained. We try to use those as examples. We have a good football team and Coach Beaty is in a rebuilding process, he added, but we know that if we dont practice well, dont play well or turn the ball over, it could be a tough day.The Cowboys (4-2, 2-1 Big 12) have rattled off back-to-back wins after a league-opening loss to Baylor, and a week off gave them a little extra time to get healthy and prepare for Kansas. As if the Jayhawks (1-5, 0-3) needed anything else working against them.Theyre coming off a one-sided loss to the Bears last Saturday that threatened to wipe out all the good karma they had built with their 24-23 loss to the Horned Frogs. Baylor raced out to a 42-0 lead by the break, and then pulled off the accelerator while coasting to a 49-7 victory .Probably the biggest thing for me is the self-inflicted wounds that weve had throughout the season, Beaty said. You cant take those away and say, `Hey, if we didnt do that, didnt do that -- you dont get to do that because those things are a reality and they happened. Those things include four interceptions and five turnovers total, and four penalties that slowed drives when the Jayhawks did manage to hold onto the ball. The result? Just 217 yards of total offense.Hey, man, thats when you get blown out, Beaty said, and thats what happened.Beaty insisted the Jayhawks are a better teaam, and there would be no better time to showcase that than on Homecoming. Cheap Darren McFadden Jersey. As the Jayhawks prepare to play Oklahoma State, here are some keys to watch:QB WOESBeaty didnt try to gloss over the poor play by Ryan Willis last weekend, which in part led to Carter Stanley getting a look. A series of questions about their progress prompted Beaty to say, If we were playing well at the quarterback positions, you guys wouldnt be asking me these.QB GLOWSThere is no such quarterback trouble at Oklahoma State. Mason Rudolph is throwing for nearly 340 yards a game, third-best in the Big 12, with 13 touchdown passes and just two picks. As good of a manager as Ive seen so far. He manages the game really, really well, Beaty said. Hes taking care of the ball, really, really well, which bodies well for them.JOE, NO GOKansas linebacker Joe Dineen will miss another game, and Beaty said theres a chance he could be done for the season. He sustained a hamstring injury against Memphis, which means he could petition for a medical redshirt if he does not return. If things dont work out, I think it would be a possibility, Beaty said.NEEDED BREAKGundy gave his team a couple of extra days off last week, and wide receiver Austin Hays said the mental break was needed as much as the physical one.Id say there is a pep in our step, he said. We got to get out of town if we wanted, and I think everybody came back hungry and ready to finish out the rest of the season.BIRDS EYE VIEWCowboys defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer is expected to remain in the press box rather than on the sideline. It was a change that Gundy suggested and the benefit is that Spencer is better able to see the entire field. Its a change, Oklahoma State defensive tackle Vincent Taylor said, but weve made it work. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

ATLANTA -- Tom Watson didnt appear to be kicking himself. Josh Reynolds Womens Jersey . On the day after Billy Horschel posted his 12th straight round in the 60s, won his second straight tournament against a world-class field and picked up an additional $10 million bonus as the FedEx Cup champion, Watson was kicking back in his seat at a Kansas City Royals game. The 65-year-old Ryder Cup captain wore a Royals cap and a constant grin as he watched Omar Infante work the count to 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth inning. These questions will follow Watson and his American team to Gleneagles next week for the Ryder Cup: Does he wish he could have Horschel on his team? Should the deadline to make his selections have been pushed back? It makes for an easy -- if not lazy -- narrative. Hindsight allows for that. Horschel not only won the final two FedEx Cup playoff events, he beat the top qualifier from each Ryder Cup team -- Bubba Watson at Cherry Hills and Rory McIlroy at East Lake. It was McIlroy who said at the Tour Championship, "Im sure Tom Watson is kicking himself at the minute." Adding to the debate is that Horschel was runner-up in the event that preceded his back-to-back wins. Tiger Woods is the only other player to have two wins in a runner-up finish in the FedEx Cup. Then again, Horschel is not Tiger Woods. Watson made his wild-card picks after the Deutsche Bank Championship, where Horschel was in prime position to force a playoff with Chris Kirk until he chunked a 6-iron so badly on the par-5 18th hole that it landed in the front of the hazard protecting the green. No one would have suggested Horschel as a pick the next day. So why was the deadline set so early for the picks? Remember, for years the American captain made his selections the day after the PGA Championship, six weeks before the Ryder Cup matches. Thanks to Paul Azinger, the U.S. captain now gets an extra three weeks to find the hot hands. Why not extend it through the Tour Championship? If thats the case, why not wait until the final week to determine the entire team? This is not about uniforms, programs or any propaganda. This about a team, one that should know who is on the side with ample time to prepare leading to the matches. Four straight playoff events caused enough fatigue as it was. Besides, would anyone be talking about an early deadline if McIlroy, Jim Furyk or Jason Day had won the Tour Championship? And whos to say Watson would have taken Horschel even if he could have waited? Watson said he was looking for the hot hand and still passed over Kirk the day after his victory at the Deutsche Bank Championship. Watson was looking for experience. He wanted Keegan Bradley and Webb Simpson all along. He would have preferred Brandt Snedeker as the third pick, except that Snedeker missed the cut at both playoff events. Hunter Mahan, who has played on two teams, won The Barclays and became an obvious selection, and then Simpson won out over Kirk. As good as Horschel looks now, how can anyone project how he would have played in Scotland? Two years ago, Snedeker looked like a great captains pick when he won the FedEx Cup. He went 1-2 at the Ryder Cup. Snedeker wasnt at his best that week. He blocked a tee shot on the 18th hole that led to bogey in foursomes and cost the Americans at least a half point. On the final day, he bogeyed three straight holes against Paul Lawrie and suffered the worst defeat of any singles match. Woods was a captains pick in 2010. He was coming off the upheaval in his personal life, split with his swing coach and failed to qualify for the Tour Championship. He had gone seven straight tournaments without a top 10, and he failed to break 70 in 19 of his last 25 rounds. Woods went 3-1 at Celtic Manor, his best Ryder Cup performance. Horschel will be cheering from home. His big finish will put even more scrutiny on the captains picks than they already have. And that will lead to another round of hindsight, unless the Americans can find a way to win. Maybe it was a good sign that the Royals rallied with two runs in the bottom of the ninth to win Monday night. As for Infante? He struck out swinging. John Johnson Rams Jersey . - First-timer Chris Harris Jr. Cooper Kupp Womens Jersey . -- Peyton Manning is the only player in this Super Bowl who has won the big game.Philadelphia, PA - Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly on Monday said Nick Foles is still not ready to return from a fractured clavicle, leaving Mark Sanchez as the starting quarterback for Saturdays game against Washington. Foles has been sidelined since suffering his injury in a Week 9 game against Houston. He was expected to be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks and Kelly on Monday said tests revealed that the bone has not fully healed. Hes not cleeared, hes out this week, Kelly said on Monday. Gerald Everett Rams Jersey. . Sanchez has been the starter for the past six games, during which the Eagles are 3-3 and have fallen into second place in the NFC East with a 9-5 record. SAN SEBASTIAN, Spain -- Barcelona set up another Copa del Rey final against rival Real Madrid on Wednesday after drawing 1-1 at Real Sociedad to win their two-legged semifinal. Amara Darboh Youth Jersey . Reals Antoine Griezmann scored in the waning moments to cancel out Lionel Messis first-half opener but the Spanish champions still reached the domestic cup final 3-1 overall. Goalkeeper Enaut Zubikarai did his part to keep Sociedad alive at the Anoeta with several key saves but the Basque clubs attack just couldnt respond despite Carlos Vela hitting the crossbar in the 55th. Barcelona, the record 26-time cup champion, faces Madrid three years after losing to its bitter foe 1-0 in extra time in a classic final. Barcelona and Madrid go into the April 19th match having split their six previous meetings in the cup final. "Its a clasico, and theres nothing more to say," Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino said. "We were obliged to reach the final after Real Madrid ensured its place." The hosts constantly pressed Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto but Messi proved the difference early on. He capped his individual run at goal in the 27th minute by unleashing a shot between three defenders that Zubikarai got a touch to but couldnt keep from creeping over the line. Zubikarai was sensational after that as he denied Pedro Rodriguez, with Pinto called on to deny Vela at the other end as Dani Alves arrived to clear the loose ball at the post. Andres Iniestas outstanding second half began with a near-miss just before Vela found the crossbar. Zubikarai made back-to-back stops on Messi and Cesc Fabregas while Griezmann was unlucky on the hour mark after failing to get a shot away on a break. Barcelona had done well to subdue Reals attacks but could only watch as the hosts executed a perfect counter for French forward Griezmann to equalize with three minutes to play. Martino said Xavi Hernandezs second-half substitution was because of a knock that he hoped would not become an injury. "The fact that these players reach so many finals and still value reaching another final is a great thing," said Martino, who has already led Barcelona to the Spanish Supercup during his first season in charge. Ethan Pocic Youth Jersey . -- Novak Djokovic benefited from an erroneous call and claimed he didnt realize he had broken the rules. Nazair Jones Seahawks Jersey . Louis Blues brought in the premier unrestricted free agent centre, and did it without breaking the bank. With the NHL Draft coming up on June 27 and free agency opening on July 1, discussions between NHL general managers are already heating up towards a busy off-season. Each day, TSN.ca provides the latest rumours, reports and speculation from around the NHL beat. Keeping The Captain? Brian Giontas agent Steve Bartlett told La Presse on Tuesday that the Montreal Canadiens want to keep their captain - an unrestricted free agent on July 1 - in the fold, while sources tell the paper that the two sides will start talks this week. "Well probably make progress in our discussions over the next few days," Bartlett told Richard Labbe of La Presse. "We havent really discussed an amount or length of contract, weve only had a few discussions in very general terms, nothing precise. "But I know that the Canadiens want to bring him back and I must now talk about this possibility with my player." Bartlett added that Gionta is open to signing a new deal with the Habs, a team hes played with for the last five seasons. "He loves Montreal and he loves the team, but needs to know where he fits with their plan of direction -  what would be his role," said Bartlett. Gionta, 35, signed a five-year, $25 million contract with the Canadiens in 2009 and tallied 173 points in 303 games. Still Happy In San Jose Joe Thorntons agent and brother John Thornton told the San Jose Mercury News that his client would consider waiving his no-movement clause if he felt the fans in San Jose didnt want him back. "If he felt the fans didnt want him in San Jose, he might re-think things," Thornton explained to Mercury News writer David Pollak.  John Thornton added that his Joe is very happy in San Jose and wants to stay and help the team win a championship. "He wants to stay there and win the Cup," he said. "He believes they still have enough ttalent. Ethan Pocic Jersey. " A New Face In Winnipeg? Gary Lawless of TSN Radio 1290 and The Winnipeg Free Press suggests that Mike Richards - if hes bought out at the end of the season by the Los Angeles Kings - would be a great fit with the Jets. "For the Jets, its a no-brainer," Lawless wrote. "Richards would set a standard of competition in the Jets dressing room and on the ice. Itll be easy from the perspective of the coaching staff and management to see who matches up and who doesnt. "The Jets need a player willing to grab the rest of the team by the throat." No Jokin Around Lawless adds that no talks have taken place between the Jets and soon-to-be-free agent Olli Jokinens camp. Jokinen, 35, made $4.5 million last season and tallied 18 goals and 25 assists.  "We havent heard a thing from the Jets," Jokinens agent, Ian Pulver told Lawless. "I understood we would talk. But it hasnt transpired. Well see where it goes. I dont know Winnipegs plans." Busy Summer In Pittsburgh? Jeff Gordon of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch breaks down the Pittsburgh Penguins off-season possibilities and suggests that winger James Neal could be a trade candidate this summer. Neal, 26, will make $20 million over the next four years. Gordon adds that new GM Jim Rutherford might retain former Hurricanes forward Jussi Jokinen, while Martin Brodeur might be a good addition in net alongside Marc-Andre Fleury. Also, Gordon writes that the Blues or Anaheim Ducks could be a good fit for Jason Spezza, with the Ottawa Senators reportedly wanting a prospect, a player and a first-round pick in return. Gordon adds that salary cap concerns could force the Boston Bruins to deal forward Brad Marchand, who has three years and $13.5 million left on his contract and could feee up room to re-sign Jarome Iginla. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Players left Canadas Olympic orientation camp in Calgary knowing the road to proving they belong in Sochi begins now. Kevin King Jersey . Coach Mike Babcock wanted each player to know what it would take to make the team, but its up to general manager Steve Yzerman and his staff to start evaluating once the regular season gets underway. "The final scouting for the management group to put the final roster together begins immediately," Yzerman said. Thats a lot of pressure all around, when the expectation in Canada is nothing short of a gold medal. Team Canadas management group has a representative from every division -- the Boston Bruins Peter Chiarelli, the Detroit Red Wings Ken Holland, the St. Louis Blues Doug Armstrong and the Edmonton Oilers Kevin Lowe -- so the spotlight will be bright. "I think its going to be on your mind fairly often, whether youre being asked about it or youre playing against guys who were at the camp, its going to come up," Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby said. "Its always in the back of your mind, but I think if you just focus on playing well for your own team and making sure you have a good first half, then everything kind of takes care of itself." In the immediate future, players return to their preparations for training camp. Canadas coaches and front-office personnel have jobs to do as well, but theyll stay in touch regularly, mostly on conference calls. "Well arrange our schedule over the next week or so to get ready for the start of the regular season," Yzerman said Tuesday evening. "Well get together as a group early November to narrow things down a little bit and talk about what were seeing and make sure were all in constant communication and get organized from November to mid-December and make our final decisions at that point." The focus will be on monitoring the 47 players invited to camp, even though anyone can work his way into the Olympic conversation with a strong enough start. Yzerman doesnt consider anyone who was in Calgary a "long shot." "Well keep an eye on everybody but focus on particular teams, particular games, particular players that were deciding on," he said. "There was a few guys we dont feel the need to watch. But we know what they can do and theyre going to be on this team, assuming theyre healthy." Yzerman estimated that, conservatively, there were eight or nine locks to make it. Crosby, Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews and defenceman Duncan Keith, Nashville Predators captain Shea Weber, Los Angeles Kings defenceman Drew Doughty, Tampa Bay Lightning centre Steven Stamkos, Boston Bruins centre Patrice Bergeron, New York Islanders centre John Tavares and New York Rangers winger Rick Nash seem to fit that bill. Putting together the rest of the roster could be a painstaking process, considering Canadas depth. Weber wants no part of that. "Thats why Im the player, theres too many tough decisions," he said. "You go down the list and everybody deserves the chance. Thats why theyre here. Theres even guys that arent here that probably will get a good look during the season. Were very fortunate in Canada to have a big selection, but definitely some tough choices." Yzerman expects to have the roster figured out by mid-to-late December. The deadline for all countries to submit is Dec. 31. Between now and then, plenty could change Team Canadas potential makeup. "Theres a lot of could-bes, but I think the first half of the year just has such an impact on whos on the team," Crosby said. "Im sure theres some guys in mind, but therell be guys who have standout first halves, and will make it tough not to be selected. So I think were going to see here in the first half who really shows they want to be part of it." Kevin King Packers Jersey . Ronaldo netted his 14th goal of the season in Europes top competition to give Madrid a clear advantage ahead of next weeks quarterfinal return leg in Germany. The few who followed him, including his mother, father and wife, were treated to a round never before seen at the current home of the Zurich Classic. Martins 10-under 62 in Thursdays opening round broke the course record by two strokes, highlighted by a chip-in from 55 feet and two birdie putts of 20 feet or more. "It was one of those days you dream about," Martin said. "I started the round with two birdies in a row and they just kept rolling in." Martin birdied 10 holes and made pars on the rest. His final birdie came on his chip with a 54-degree sand wedge on the par-3 17th hole, which hugs a water hazard and was made more difficult by afternoon winds. Martin said the challenges that hole posed led him to take a conservative tee shot with a 5-iron rather than a longer club, and the way the 26-year-old South Carolina native executed his plan exemplified the type of day he had. "That was just managing my game. I knew that hole was into the wind with water left," Martin said. "I felt like short of the green was a pretty easy chip." He certainly made it look that way. "Really, everything was working well," Martin said. "It was just one of those days, just like you draw it up." The previous record at TPC Louisiana was a 64, accomplished many times, including on Thursday, when Andrew Svoboda did it to take a lead that held up until Martin surged past late in the day. Peter Hanson and Sueng-Yul Noh were tied for third at 65. Last weekend, Martin matched his career best with a third-place tie in the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head, S.C. He also finished third in early March in the Puerto Rico Open, but missed four cuts after that. Martin opened the Zurich with a 10-foot birdiee putt, the first of six birdies on the front nine, most set up by approach shots within 10 feet. Montravius Adams Womens Jersey. One exception was his 26-foot birdie putt on No. 5. He opened the back nine with a 14-foot birdie putt, made a 10-footer on 11 and a 20-footer on 13. Svoboda birdied six of his last nine holes. Like Martin, the 34-year-old Svoboda has never won on the PGA Tour. While much can change with three rounds left, New Orleans has seen its share of maiden tour triumphs. It has happened in six of the past nine years, and 10 of the past 16. "Ill take that stat," Svoboda said. Svobodas best career finish on the PGA Tour is a tie for 15th at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas in October. Hansons round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 sixth hole, accomplished with a 6-iron from 183 yards. Erik Compton, Chad Collins and Michael Thompson were tied for fifth at 66, and Jeff Overton, Stuart Appleby and Robert Streb followed at 67. Compton, a two-time heart transplant recipient, spent the early part of the week meeting with children at a New Orleans-area hospital and participated in a junior golf clinic. Although that limited his practice time, he thought it helped his mindset. "It seems to really relax me and really puts things in perspective," Compton said. "I seem to play better during the weeks where I have hospital visits." On the par-5 seventh, his 297-yard drive sailed right of the fairway, crossing a cart path. But he belted a 227-yard shot out of the rough to the foot of the green and two-putted for birdie. He ended his round with a 22-foot birdie putt on nine to briefly put him atop the leaderboard. Compton, also winless on the PGA Tour, said he feels "very comfortable" on New Orleans Pete Dye-designed course. "You have to hit a lot of long iron shots and drive it well here, and those are some of the strengths of my game," he said. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

OAKLAND, Calif. Antonio Garcia Womens Jersey . -- Josh Donaldson hit a game-winning, bases-loaded single with two outs in the ninth inning, lifting the Oakland Athletics past the Los Angeles Angels 2-1 on Tuesday night as they decreased their magic number to clinch another AL West title to six. Donaldson delivered his third career game-ending hit -- all this season -- in Oaklands eighth walkoff victory this year. He received both a whipped cream pie from Josh Reddick followed by a dumping from the Gatorade bottle. Grant Balfour (1-3) struck out the side in order in the ninth for the win. Alberto Callaspo singled to start the bottom of the ninth against Michael Kohn (1-3) and Jemile Weeks entered as a pinch-runner. Weeks advanced on Stephen Vogts fly to left and pinch-hitter Jed Lowie was intentionally walked to bring up Coco Crisp. Crisp walked on the 10th pitch he saw to load the bases. Daric Barton struck out with the Angels bringing in right fielder Kole Calhoun as a fifth infielder. There had been 11 full-counts between the teams and none of those batters reached base until Crisps free pass. The As lead the Rangers by 6 1-2 games. Texas won 7-1 at Tampa Bay to snap a seven-game losing streak. Mike Trout hit another deep drive over the wall in centre for his second home run in as many games, but that was all for the Angels. Trout connected on a 1-0 pitch from Sonny Gray with two outs in the first to stake the Angels to another early lead. The Angels said Trout became the first player in AL history with 25 home runs, 30 stolen bases and 100 walks. The As tied it in the bottom half on Brandon Moss ground-rule double. Grey allowed one run and five hits, struck out five and walked one in six strong innings -- but he faced six three-ball counts and saw his pitch count climb in a hurry. He threw 98 pitches. Oakland reliever Ryan Cook hit consecutive batters with pitches, Howie Kendrick and Trout, to load the bases in the seventh after J.B. Shucks two-out single. Jerry Blevins relieved and struck out Josh Hamilton. Garrett Richards struck out six in seven-plus innings, but is still winless in seven career outings and three starts against the As. He gave way to Buddy Boshers after Donaldson beat out an infield single to start the eighth. Boshers struck out Moss and Juan Gutierrez relieved to record the final two outs in the eighth. The Angels lost for only the third time in their last 13 road games a day after a 12-1 win to snap the As five-game winning streak. This victory clinched the season series for Oakland over the Angels for the third straight year. As left fielder Yoenis Cespedes played designated hitter for a second straight day as he nurses an injured right shoulder. An MRI showed tendinitis and no tear or serious structural problem. Manager Bob Melvin will give Cespedes time to let the arm calm down so he can throw comfortably before he returns to the outfield. A cortisone shot is a possibility. NOTES: Oakland SS Jed Lowrie missed his second straight start with a tight right hamstring. He is expected to start Wednesday afternoons series finale. ... As C John Jaso took batting practice on the field and was doing other baseball activities as he tries to return from a concussion before the end of the season. Jaso has been out since July 25. "Hes turned a corner the last four or five days where he feels pretty good," Melvin said. ... The Angels reinstated INF Chris Nelson from the 15-day DL after he missed 19 games with a strained right hamstring. ... Oakland reliever Sean Doolittle was presented as the As Roberto Clemente Award nominee in a pregame ceremony. ... Oakland sold out the normal Coliseum seating for the playoffs so fast Tuesday the club has decided to open up additional seating in the third deck view level by removing the green tarps over those sections. With approximately 12,000 extra seats available -- which includes space for overflow media -- the capacity will go from 35,067 to 48,146. The ALDS games sold out in two hours. ... As reliever Dan Otero rejoined the team after being away for the birth of his daughter. ... Former As SS Bobby Crosby attended the game. Deatrich Wise Jr. Jersey . Uruguay was overrun 3-1 Friday by Group D underdog Costa Rica at the World Cup, a stunning result for the team that reached the semifinals four years ago and had every reason to think it could repeat that in Brazil. Even with Suarez staying on the bench for the entire game after failing to fully recover from knee surgery, coach Oscar Tabarez fielded a side that included eight players from the 2010 team. But after going ahead through a first-half penalty, Uruguay was taken apart on counterattacks as Costa Rica scored three times in the second half to open Group D with a major upset. "We made mistakes today that we havent made for a long time. Its too early to explain this," Tabarez said. "Football means that sometimes you have to lose. You cant lose heart, you just have to improve." The Uruguayans took the lead in the 24th minute when Edinson Cavani converted a spot kick that was awarded after captain Diego Lugano tumbled to the ground with defender Junior Diaz tugging at his waist. But after the goal, Uruguay lost the initiative and Costa Rica -- seen as a massive underdog in a group that also includes England and Italy -- fought back after the break. Costa Ricas lone striker Joel Campbell led most of the teams counterattacks and finally delivered the equalizer in the 54th, driving in a ball headed down by Celso Borges to beat goalkeeper Fernando Muslera. Oscar Duarte dived past the outstretched foot of Uruguays Cristian Stuani to head in the winner for the Central Americans, and substitute Marcos Urena added the third with six minutes left, catching out Muslera to slot the ball in from a tight angle. "We spotted that they had weaknesses and we looked at those. We worked hard onn headers and ways to dominate in the air and we did that tonight," Costa Rica coach Jorge Luis Pinto said. Antonio Garcia Youth Jersey. The disastrous night in injury time when Maxi Pereira was sent off for a clumsy foul on Campbell. Pereira will be suspended from the next game against England, while Tabarez said Suarezs participation for next Thursdays match in Sao Paolo is also uncertain. Diego Forlan, the player of the tournament in 2010, took Suarezs place in attack. But in Fortaleza, the 35-year-old forward only displayed a single flash of his former greatness: Curling a deadly ball toward the Costa Rican a minute before halftime, in an effort punched out by in-form keeper Keylor Navas. Forlan was eventually substituted on the hour for Nicolas Lodeiro. Even without Suarez, the team doesnt need a tactical overhaul to bounce back from the defeat, Tabarez said. "Weve being playing this way for eight years. I dont see why we should do anything different right know," he said. "It worked in South Africa and after that. Defence is not a dirty word." Pinto, the Costa Rica coach, was less philosophical. "What counted is that we stayed calm and kept creating opportunities against a very tough team," Pinto said. "We have great respect for Uruguay but we werent that impressed tonight." ------ Lineups Uruguay: Fernando Muslera, Diego Lugano, Diego Godin, Walter Gargano (Alvaro Gonzalez, 60), Cristian Rodriguez, Diego Forlan (Nicolas Lodeiro, 60), Cristian Stuani, Maxi Pereira, Egidio Arevalo, Edinson Cavani, Martin Caceres. In an email Friday, NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith said union officials believe agents should "consider the Saints efforts" to push for legislation that would substantially reduce benefits to players who are hurt outside the 17-week regular season, when player salaries are paid. Players receive only per diems during off-season workouts and training camp. Under legislation which has passed the Louisiana House of Representatives and awaits consideration in the state Senate, workers compensation benefits could be based on per diems — rather than the full annual value of a contract — if injuries occurred in the off-season. "We are actively involved in the effort to defeat this bill but we feel it is important for you to consider the Saints efforts given your representation of our players and the advice you would have to give to any free agent player considering an opportunity to play for the Saints," Smith wrote. "Please advise your players of the potential consequences of the Saints efforts should they sign with the Saints." Bill supporters say it would place athletes under the same rules as other Louisiana employees. The Saints have not commented on the legislation since its introduction in the House of Representatives, but quarterback Drew Brees has come out publicly against it. In a written statement distributed by the NFLPA, Brees said the legislation "is not good for Saints players, not good for our team or other sports teams in Louisiana and not good for our state." "The job of legislators in Louisiana is to protect injured workers and fight for theiir workers comp benefits, not find ways to support bills like this one which reduce the workers comp benefits we receive when we get hurt. Ryan Anderson Womens Jersey. There is no financial benefit to the state with this bill, only team management," Brees continued. "Whether we get hurt during the season or in the preseason, it is all the same. It is in preparation to help us win a championship for our community." The legislation, called House Bill 1069, aims to calculate workers compensation benefits for pro athletes based only on recent earnings. The NFLs collective bargaining agreement has a formula that also includes future earnings and is aimed at ensuring that benefits are calculated on the full annual value of a players contract. The bill is sponsored by state Reps. Chris Broadwater, R-Hammond, and Cameron Henry, R-Metairie. Broadwater has said the Saints asked for the bill, which aims to clarify in law that pro athletes cannot be exempt from a state formula that applies to every other Louisiana employee seeking workers compensation benefits after a workplace injury. The NFLPA counters that athletes should not be punished with potentially reduced benefits simply because their salaries are not distributed evenly over a 52-week period. In past years, the same matter has spawned several lawsuits between the Saints and former players — with differing outcomes depending on the venue. A state appeals courts in Jefferson Parish, home of Saints headquarters, has sided with the clubs assertion that players must follow precisely the same formula as other Louisiana employees. However, an appeals court in Orleans Parish, where the Superdome is located, has ruled that the annual value of player contracts should serve as the basis for benefits, regardless of when the injury occurs. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys ChinaCheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

PHILADELPHIA -- Thaddeus Young always had his confidence. Haason Reddick Jersey . He just needed to find his stroke. Once he did, Young gave the 76ers a rare bright spot in a bleak season. Young hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds left to lift Philadelphia to a 95-92 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night. "I was like, Im making this shot," Young said. "I hadnt made one the whole game. But I was like, whatever it takes, it was going to go down." So did the Bobcats. Young hit the final big shot in a fourth quarter loaded with back-and-forth baskets, a poorly contested jumper from the left of the arc off a feed from Michael-Carter Williams. Young scored 11 points and his winner was his only 3-pointer of the game. Kemba Walkers last-gasp shot was off the mark. Spencer Hawes had 17 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists for the Sixers. Evan Turner scored 23 points and Carter-Williams had 20. "You find those (wins) from time to time to help promote what youre doing," coach Brett Brown said. "They work hard. They really invest time. They completely get along." Walker led the Bobcats with 26 points and Al Jefferson had 24. Hard to believe, the Bobcats (16-24) entered the game as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. But this one had the feel of a bad preseason finale until the final minutes. Charlottes Gerald Henderson missed his first nine shots. Philadelphias Tony Wroten spent more time throwing the ball into the stands than to a teammate. Sixers forward Brandon Davies was whistled for four fouls in 5 minutes. Both teams shot clunkers from the free throw line (Bobcats 17 of 26; 76ers 11 of 20) and 3-point arc (Bobcats 5 of 20; 76ers 6 of 15). And the turnovers. So many turnovers -- a sloppy 24 for the Sixers that led to 25 points and helped the Bobcats rally from 11 down. "You fight hard to come back, then you just cant come up with the plays to win the game," Henderson said. Henderson stripped Turner and dunked for a rare easy basket and a one-point lead late in the fourth. Hawes followed with a 3 to put the Sixers up 89-87. Jefferson tied it. Turner went inside to make it 91-89. Walker tied it at 92-all. This one seemed set for overtime. Young took care of that with one of his biggest shots of the season, a needed lift for a team with only 13 wins. "We have to get better at finishing games and keeping our turnovers down," Young said. "We dont have very many (wins), so we have to cherish what weve got." The sputtering Bobcats have lost nine of 10. "When the games on the line, youve got to have one clean coverage," Bobcats coach Steve Clifford said. "We did a poor job with the two guys involved in that." While the win helped the Sixers snap a four-game losing streak, they are still all about building for the future and have steeled themselves for a season spent near the bottom of the standings. They hope Nerlens Noel helps take them to the top. Noel, the sixth overall pick in the 2013 draft, hasnt played this season as he recovers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The 6-foot-11 centre was injured last season playing for Kentucky. The Sixers are taking a cautious approach toward bringing along their top prospect. Sixers president Sam Hinkie said some restrictions on Noel have been lifted and he is now able to participate in limited on-court work. "There are several benchmarks Nerlens still must meet, and during that time we will closely monitor his progress and regularly evaluate his status," Hinkie said. "Our goal remains the same, which is to give Nerlens every opportunity to ensure a long, productive NBA career." Brown said there was "no definitive timeline" on when Noel would play for the Sixers. "At age 19, hes got an awful lot to offer, an awful lot to give," Brown said. "I personally cant wait to coach him. Hes excited. He wants to get out there. But we have to do right by him." Notes: Hawes and Carter-Williams each scored 12 points to help the Sixers take a 53-45 lead into halftime. ... The Sixers held a 50-42 rebounding edge. ... It offers no assurances and doesnt apply any context, like, for example, taking injuries into account. Last year, this method forecasted the first round at a 7-1 clip; this year it was 5-3, with losses on Columbus, Colorado and San Jose. In the first two cases, their strong goaltending led to a calculated advantage, but it can be difficult for goaltending superiority to take effect over much larger samples, let alone seven games. As for the Sharks, they were in a virtual toss-up situation with the Kings, favoured by the smallest of margins. The expected goals for each team in the series are determined by taking each teams shots for and against over the course of the season, as well as through the first round of the playoffs, and splitting the difference. So, for example, Boston had 32.1 shots on goal per game and Montreal has allowed 28.6 shots on goal per game; the average of those two numbers, 30.35 shots, is the number that is then multiplied by (1 - the opposing goaltenders save percentage) to determine an expected goals per game for the Bruins. Finally, the number is multiplied by seven to indicate an expected goal total for a seven-game series. Theres no guarantee that scoring more goals in a series will result in winning four games first, but the odds certainly favour the team that scores more. So, lets see how the numbers shake out for Round Two: Team SF SA Goaltender SV% Expected GF/Series Boston 32.1 29.3 Tuukka Rask 0.933 15.93 Montreal 30.9 28.6 Carey Price 0.925 14.12 Verdict: The Bruins are favoured, with a slightly better shot differential and slightly better goaltending, and its simple enough that way. But when the Habs and Bruins meet in the playoffs, strange things can happen. Higher-seeded Canadiens teams have been bounced by lower-seeded Bruins teams and vice versa. Between these two incarnations of the Canadiens and Bruins is a wonderful contrast in styles as the Bruins are more physically-imposing while the Canadiens are a smaller, skilled group. While some teams (including the Red Wings in Round One) avoid getting into confrontations with the Bruins, the Canadiens havent always taken that approach, and it not only makes for entertaining hockey, it adds some variability to the process. Furthermore, if the Canadiens can keep Tuukka Rask off his game (his .908 save percentage vs. Montreal is his lowest vs. teams that hes faced at least 10 times in his career), then that could help close the calculated gap between the teams. Team SF SA Goaltender SV% Expected GF/Series Pittsburgh 30.4 29.1 Marc-Andre Fleury 0.915 16.66 N.Y. Rangers 33.1 29.1 Henrik Lundqvist 0.920 18.50 Verdict: The Penguins were forecasted to lose -- or, more accurately, score fewer goals -- against Columbus, but here they are in the second round, looking at a similar forecast, against a team with a better shot differential and better goaltending. The Penguins are healthier than theyve been for most of the season, which helps, and they have elite forwards that can shake results. The Rangers could control play and it wouldnt take a Henrik Lundqvist collapse to see the Penguins get through. Haason Reddick Cardinas Jersey. All it might take is Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin going off for a few games. Heck, they managed to get past Columbus with contributions from a lot more than Crosby and Malkin. Defencemen Paul Martin and Matt Niskanen led the Penguins with eight points, Brandon Sutter added five and Beau Bennett chipped in four. In my playoff picks, I had the Penguins going past the Rangers and its on the expectation that, at some point, the Penguins elite players will bury more of their chances, though that also requires some faith in Marc-Andre Fleury and that hasnt been a safe feeling for the Penguins in the playoffs for quite some time. Team SF SA Goaltender SV% Expected GF/Series Anaheim 31.0 28.8 Frederik Andersen 0.918 17.26 Los Angeles 31.6 27.0 Jonathan Quick 0.915 17.33 Anaheim 31.0 28.8 Jonas Hiller 0.912 17.26 Los Angeles 31.6 27.0 Jonathan Quick 0.915 18.60 Verdict: I presume that the Ducks are going back to rookie Frederik Andersen, even after he was pulled twice against Dallas in the first round (but I included calculations for Hiller anyway). This is another really close series in which the Kings get slightly favoured because they have superior shot differential. The Ducks have exceeded more advanced possession metrics all year, in part because they have been insanely fortunate when it comes to shooting in close games. Oh, and here too. That isnt the kind of thing that seems possible to repeat over time but, it worked enough to take down Dallas in the first round, so it wouldnt come as a shock if they can do it against Los Angeles. Team SF SA Goaltender SV% Expected GF/Series Chicago 32.9 27.8 Corey Crawford 0.919 18.15 Minnesota 27.2 27.4 Darcy Kuemper 0.914 15.59 Chicago 32.9 27.8 Corey Crawford 0.919 20.05 Minnesota 27.2 27.4 Ilya Bryzgalov 0.905 15.59 Verdict: Again, a presumption that the Wild will have Darcy Kuemper to start the series, despite leaving Game Seven against Colorado with an injury. If the Wild are really rolling with Ilya Bryzgalov, then the forecast will be unfavourable, just as it was in the first round, but if Kuemper is in, he offers a slightly better chance. No matter who is in net for the Wild, though, they will have their hands full, because they are facing a team that generates a whole lot more shots than their opponents. So long as Corey Crawford is decent, and there arent any major injuries, then the Blackhawks will warrant their status as prohibitive favourites. Were less than six weeks from the Mar. Raekwon McMillan Jersey . 2 trade deadline, which means all the basic chatter and tire kicking will take on a more serious tone as early as next week. Theres no promise that deals will be made immediately following the All-Star break, but a number of team executives do sense that the urgency to make a move is starting to grow. On Thursday nights Tim Hortons Thats Hockey, we addressed the wants and needs of the seven Canadian NHL teams. Granted, every team is looking for upgrades and Im certain many NHL general managers take some pleasure in playing the media game by declaring a wish list that often includes a top six forward or a top four defenceman. And its hard to imagine any of the 30 teams arent in the market for that. With that in mind, lets first take a look at the list we unveiled in Tuesdays edition of Insider Trading disclosing the initial list of players considered as trade bait with the deadline looming: Trade Bait Player NHL Team Position Antoine Vermette Arizona Coyotes Centre Tyler Myers Buffalo Sabres Defence Joffrey Lupul Toronto Maple Leafs Left Wing Jake Gardiner Toronto Maple Leafs Defence Keith Yandle Arizona Coyotes Defence Ryan OReilly Colorado Avalanche Centre Jaromir Jagr New Jersey Devils Right Wing Curtis Glencross Calgary Flames Left Wing Zbynek Michalek Arizona Coyotes Defence Erik Cole Dallas Stars Left Wing Chris Neil Ottawa Senators Right Wing Cody Franson Toronto Maple Leafs Defence Marc Methot Ottawa Senators Defence Jiri Tlusty Carolina Hurricanes Left Wing Jeff Petry Edmonton Oilers Defence Tyler Kennedy San Jose Sharks Right Wing Zack Kassian Vancouver Canucks Right Wing Matt Hendricks Edmonton Oilers Left Wing Drew Stafford Buffalo Sabres Right Wing Brad Boyes Florida Panthers Right Wing Matt Irwin San Jose Sharks Defence Michael Ryder New Jersey Devils Right Wing Kyle Brodziak Minnesota Wild Centre Ryan Carter Minnesota Wild Centre Chris Phillips Ottawa Senators Defence Paul Martin Pittsburgh Penguins Defence Tomas Fleischmann Florida Panthers Left Wing Canadian NHL Team Game Plans Toronto Maple Leafs Veteran defenceman Cody Franson is a late addition to the Trade Bait list in the likelihood he embraces unrestricted free agency. The Leafs arent willing to pay him what he will lure on the open market and based on the demand for blueliners with a right-handed shot, Franson will fetch a decent trade return once its been determined he intends to walk. And that decision should be soon. Forwards Daniel Winnik and Mike Santorelli (also pending UFAs) are drawing interest from trade circles as well and given Torontos play of late, the list of available Leaf players is starting to grow. While never impossible, any trade involving a key player is unlikely until the off-season, when other cap teams have more flexibility to take on bigger contracts. Again - anything is possible. However, Torontos expected return seems fairly specific as the Leafs are looking for good young roster players in their early twenties. Montreal Canadiens The Habs have faced adversity this season, but keep on finding ways to win and remain a top team in the Eastern Conference. A sagging power play has regained some spark and when healthy, Carey Price has performed at his usual elite standard. Trying to nail general manager Marc Bergevin down on divulging internal secrets is a near futile exercise, but he talks to enough people around the league to surmise hes not satisfied with how his team looks. And if he can add a forward to strengthen his top two lines, he will. Bergevin is also believed to be looking for a defenceman - perhaps an upgrade to whats already considered a decent top five. Ottawa Senators Wayne Scanlan of The Ottawa Citizen wrote an excellent piece this week on Senators GM Bryan Murray and by Murrays own admission, this will very likely be his last season at the helm. Murray likes what he sees on this years roster and still believes Ottawa has a chance, though the standings are continuing to paint a different picture. Its believed Murray would also like to add a top six forward - an established player with some term remaining to give the Senators some stability. Acquiring such a player is hard to do, though Murray found a way when winger Bobby Ryan was brought into town. While some believe it might be better for the Sens to wait and allow the younger players to develop, Murrays more immediate concern is his lack of roster space. Mark Borowiecki is very close to returning, which will force Ottawa to make a tough decision. Its likely that Colin Greening will be placed on waivers to open a spot. Meanwhile, the uncertainty of Marc Methots future continues to hang over the club as well. A pending UFA, Methot complements captain Erik Karlsson and is playing well. If a contract extension cant be worked out, Methot will likely be traded - which would create a large hole on Ottawas blue line. Given the spot duty assigned to veteran defenceman Chris Phillips (who has been a healthy scratch eight times this season), perhaps Murray finds a new home for a proud man who cant be happy with his limited role. All of this makes for difficult decisions for Bryan Murray and his management team to ponder. Winnipeg Jets The Jets appear to be a throwback example of hard work and chemistry paying off. Head coach Paul Maurice says he never goes to the rink concerned about how hard his team is willing to work. And it shows, as the Jets are highly regarded as one of the most difficult teams to play against. Comfortably in a playoff spot, no one in this organization is taking anything for granted. And this Jets team knows that the post All-Star grind will demand a high level of intestinal fortitude to secure that spot. General manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has assets he can dangle in a trade - particularly from his defence corps. The Jets would like to add a third line right winger, but given the play of this team, Cheveldayoff might consider something more significant to bolster his chances against the Western Conferences big boys. The Jets wont mortgage their future, but if they continue to string wins together and find a way to creep into the Top 10, there will be some interesting boardroom conversations leading up to the deadline. Vancouver Canucks The Canucks continue to quietly go about their business and with far less drama than weve seen in recent years. The team is where they thought they would be at the beginning of the season - in the playoff mix, but fighting to distance themselves from the Calgary Flames and Los Angeles Kings. Now Vancouver needs scoring and the team is hopeful that the right deal will materialize to add a second line forward. Dont expect GM Jim Benning to dive into the rental pool, as the Canucks have no intention of blowing out the young talent theyve accumulated over the last couple of seasons to acquire a player destined for free agency. And the rumour mill keeps linking the Canucks to Boston, given the obvious history Benning has as the Bruins former assistant GM. Calgary Flames Remarkably, the Flames remain one of the NHLs pleasant surprises this season. Approaching the 50-game mark, they are a playoff team, while the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings are not. Yes, its hard to believe. Head coach Bob Hartley has developed a winning culture in Calgary and similar to the job Maurice has done in Winnipeg, the buy-in from the players is impressive. But Flames GM Brad Treliving knows where his team is on the rebuilding road and while it might be enticing to fast-track the plan, he continues to evaluate his group to make sure he has the long-term pieces in the right fit. The team would like to add a defenceman and will remain open to all trade possibilities. But young key players wont be sacrificed based on where the Flames are positioned in the standings on Mar. 2. Edmonton Oilers General manager Craig MacTavish has faced enough challenges to last 10 lifetimes, but his to-do list is as long as ever as the club braces for another offseason of selling hope. Its hard to imagine the Oilers being quiet in the weeks leading up to deadline, but with three picks in the Top 35 in this Junes draft, MacTavish may wait to do the heavy lifting until the summer. If Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle or another member of the Oilers core is to be included in a game-changing swap, then this type of auction will clearly draw the most action in the off-season. Goaltending and defence are a top priority for the Oilers and another quality centre would help as well. Defenceman Jeff Petry will attract interest on the trade front and could be used in a package to satisfy one of the teams needs, or for another draft pick that the Oilers can use to load up for June. Genoa, Italy (SportsNetwork. Charles Oakley Knicks Jersey .com) - Roma moved to within one point of Serie A leaders Juventus on Sunday as the capital club notched a 1-0 win at Genoa courtesy of a first-half goal from Radja Nainggolan. Juventus was held to a 1-1 draw at home earlier in the day by Sampdoria as the visitors equalized in the 51st minute through Manolo Gabbiadini, canceling out a 12th-minute goal from Juves Patrice Evra. That result opened the door for Roma, which was handed a numerical advantage in the 29th minute when Genoa goalkeeper Matia Perin was sent off for a professional foul. Eugenio Lamanna stepped in to face the subsequent penalty kick from Adem Ljajic, and he produced a fine stop to keep the match scoreless. However, Lamanna was picking the ball out of his net nine minutes later as Nainggolan got on the other end of a cross from Maicon to score on an acrobatic volley. Gervinho attempted to double Romas advantage in the second half, but his shot struck the far post, while Juan Iturbe headed the ball over the net from a dangerous position, leaving Roma just 1-0 up. And those misses nearly proved costly in stoppage time when Genoas Tomas Rincon scored from close range, only for the goal to be ruled out for offsides. AC Milan joined Napoli on 24 points after claiming a 2-0 home victory over the club from Naples on Sunday thanks to goals from Jeremy Menez and Giacomo Bonaventura, leaving both clubs two points out of a Champions League place. Fiorentina rolled to a 4-1 win at second-from-the-bottom Cesena with three goals coming after halftime, Hellas Verona edged Udinese, 2-1, with goals from Luca Toni and Lazaros Christodoulopoulos, while Parma and Cagliari battled to a 0-0 draw that does little to help other side in their battle against relegation. Derrick Williams Jersey . When the Dallas Mavericks needed to stop a Golden State rally in the fourth quarter, they looked for defensive help from the rookie point guard playing in just his sixth game. The best game so far in Dallas for the son of Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin came on a night when Monta Ellis needed a little help. Dirk Nowitzki scored 22 points, Larkin made several big plays in the second half and Ellis found a way to contribute with his passing to help the Mavericks hold off the Warriors 103-99 Wednesday night. "Its not even about the points or the assists," said Larkin, who scored seven to go with six assists. "I think I just gave my best energy effort off the bench and helped the team get going in that way." Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle thinks Larkin helped the crowd, too -- literally. After his shot from just inside the 3-point line put Dallas up 11, a fan made one from half court to win a 70-inch TV during the break between quarters. "I mean, he went from end to end in less than 4 seconds to get that shot and that was a huge momentum shot," Carlisle said. "Im sure it helped that guy throw in that half-court shot at the break. It helped create a lot of positive energy in the building." Ellis finished with a season-low four points on 2-of-16 shooting, but he had 10 assists, including one to get Samuel Dalembert a dunk and push Dallas dwindling lead to 101-95 with 1:21 remaining. Stephen Curry led Golden State with 29 points and the Warriors stayed close a night after a tough one-point win in New Orleans. Klay Thompson and David Lee had 20 points each, with Lee adding 12 rebounds and Thompson a career-high 10. The Warriors rallied from 17 down midway through the fourth quarter, but never got closer than four. Thompson shot an air ball on a 3-point attempt in one trip, and Dalembert blocked a shot from long range by Draymond Green with 9.4 seconds left. Golden State kept the ball after the block, but the Warriors missed twice in a mad scramble to the final buzzer. "One or two possessions away from taking the lead, have a chance to get some stops and win the game," said Curry, who was 9 of 19 from the field, including 6 of 10 from 3-pooint range. Courtney Lee Jersey. . "You had that effort in the fourth quarter and you really didnt show anything in the first three quarters." Carlisle broke his rotation and replaced starter Jose Calderon with Larkin on defensive possessions in the final 3 minutes. It worked on consecutive Golden State trips, with the Mavericks forcing a pair of misses by Thompson, including the air ball from long range. "He just told me to get a stop," said Larkin, who was pulled quickly in the first half of Mondays loss to Denver and didnt play much more. "It showed me he has a lot of confidence in me, so that was good." The Mavericks were in control at 99-82 with about 5 minutes left when the Warriors ran off 13 straight points to make it close. Thompson started the run with a 3-pointer, and it really got going when DeJuan Blair was called for a foul in the backcourt and Ellis was given a technical for an outburst after the whistle. Curry hit the free throw, Thompson hit another from long range and Curry dribbled between two defenders coming off a screen and hit the jumper to get the Warriors within 99-95. "The intensity that you played with in the fourth, you have to play with it for 48 minutes no matter if a back-to-back or what," said Thompson, who was 5 of 16 from the field as the Warriors shot 42 per cent. "I took some bad shots in the last few minutes, so Ill learn from it." Ellis missed a layup in Dallas first chance to extend the 99-95 lead. The next time down, he drove the lane again, but found Dalembert for a dunk and his 10th assist. "Just have to continue to play," Ellis said. "Just one of those nights where they just wouldnt go in. Coach just told me to stay aggressive and I did." Blair had 11 points and led Dallas with nine rebounds. He had seven offensive boards, including several that helped keep the Mavericks in front in the fourth quarter. NOTES: Nowitzki went back in front of Brooklyns Kevin Garnett for 14th place on the NBA scoring list. Garnett had moved in front on Tuesday, but fell behind after scoring just four points against the Lakers on Wednesday night. Nowitzki is at 25,383 points. Garnett has 25,368. ... Warriors C Andrew Bogut returned from a one-game suspension for his role in a scuffle with Portland and had eight points and 10 boards. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
